Preloader not appearing to move

Question

I'm trying to add a preloader in my website before a large swf is loaded with a UI loader.  I'm using the progressbar component and it appears/disappears properly and the swf loads, however the bar doesn't actually move, nor does the percentage move from 0%. 
I've tried adjusting the Download Settings to make sure it wasn't just loading so fast that it didn't appear to move, but it actually doesn't.
Any advice?

Just hold the app until it starts shaking, move your finger to any edge of the screen but you have to hold it there for for 2 seconds and it will move the app to the next screen.
