I bought a hd movie on my iPad , however when I try to play on Apple TV 1st generation. It does not appear or says content not available. My TV is hd compatible

AppleTV1 only supports HD upto 720p - chances are the iPad HD vserion is 1080p and beyond ATV1 capability.
Also do not expect recent iTunes purchases to appear on AppleTV 1 store menus as purchased - ATV1 does not know about 'cloud access'.
Best option is to download the 720p version (set in iTunes Preferences on computer iTunes) and sync/stream to AppleTV 1 from iTunes.

But I'm not the one to tell you how to do it; someone like "Illaass" (Illaass seems to know how to correct / fix almost anything!) will know how if you don't. Just look for the "cat" icon.

Walk it into the nearest Apple Store there in Ireland, admit you purposely avoided buying it there, and ask them to help you sort it out. I'm sure they'll be happy to service your overseas purchase.....

Can you check the Object Security for the Analysis Menu and Export button and see if it is restricted?
Also, is this a Oracle DB? IF so, has the following 32 bit Oracle Client components been isntalled:

Are you connected to wifi? Are the updates for the apps for ios 7.0.3? If they are then try updating your ipad then going in and updating your apps.

I am current in Sotheby's Africa and trying to FaceTime my daughter who also has the same ipad as me. My son in law also has the ipad. Despite using my daughters email, I cannot get through to her or my son in law. When I hit FaceTime I can hear the ringing tone, but after a while it comes up saying my daughter is not available, but she is sat by her ipad in the UK. I have checked everything is working so what can I do now to get through to her, especially for Xmas day.

I finally got he ipad to sycn photos from computer to ipad- however when I try to download a new album- the old one is deleted and replaced on the ipad- how do I avoid this ?

You can sync multiple folders to the iPad, as long as they are under the same parent folder on your computer so that you can then select and sync them to the iPad together in one go, as only the most recent photo sync remains on the iPad - each folder will get it's own album on the iPad. Not including them in a subsequent sync is how you delete them from the iPad (as you've found out).

OOur internet service is not always fast enough to stream directly on Apple TV which is why we want to use AirPlay from the iPad to Apple TV. When we try to play a movie it starts for one second and then crashes out. This does not happen with every TV show - we watched 8 episodes of Season 4 with no problem, but it would not play episode 9 or episode 1 of season 5.
