Premiere 4.1 Update Fails Online and also by Download

Unable to install Premiere 4.1 update any way I try on a Vista 64 PC. The auto update installer failed after starting for a few minute with a message "The update did not worked." (somebody needs to learn English?) Here are the steps I taken to try to fix, without any luck:
1) Auto installer tried to install Premiere 4.1 update and Adobe media enconder update on its own. It failed after beginning the process, about 1-2 minutes into it with "The update did not worked."
2) I went to Adobe.com and manually downloaded the latest version of Adobe Updater and successfully installed that.
3) Tried through Premiere Update menu to update the software again. Same failure as before at same point.
4) I manually downloaded the ZIP files for Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder, and tried to run the SETUP.EXE file in Premiere. That will bring up the starting screen, but immediately when I click continue to begin the install, Windows Vista pops up a message that there is a problem with the program and Windows is terminating the program. I get no error from Adobe's software, it infact keeps running the progress bar as if it's installing but soon the Windows process terminates it.
Anyone figure a solution?

I turned of Microsoft One Care and also my firewall and tried to auto update through Premeire again, and it failed again, so virus protection or firewall is not the issue.
I called Adobe tech support by phone but our connection was poor (overseas?) and I was eventually disconnected midway through the conversation. First the tech was suggesting to me that Adobe Premiere perhaps is not suitable for a Vista 64 operating system. When I explained it was, then he suggested pehaps I was downloading the wrong version of the update. I was explaining that there is no 64-bit update choice on Adobe.com download, only Windows or Mac choices, plus the auto update should know what to download itself, when we were disconnected.
I have 50gb free on the install drive so I don't think it's running out of disk space, and 4gb RAM.
There's nothng queer about this PC, it's a new Vista 64 pC and the only software on it is Adobe Web Premium and Adobe Premiere, plus Microsoft Office 2007, and Filezilla.

Verify that access to ports 80 and 443 are allowed on your network.

Restore your device while connected to a different network.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.
If that doesn't solve it then what has worked for some people is going into Settings > General > Date & Time and change the date to a few months in the future and then re-trying

Only the carrier who locked the iPhone from new can unlock it no-one else
Anything else is hacking which forfeits any help from Apple and this forum
I also doubt that Orange will touch it

Connect the device to the computer.
Open iTunes.
Select the content desired to sync.
Sync.

So far as I know, the only way to make these features non-functioning is to detach the computer from the internet.

Update failed: Unable to extract the download files (why????), error U44M1210. What's that ?

When downloading Premiere Pro CC, in Creative Cloud, I'm getting a message:
Update Failed
Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press retry.
(U44M1210)
Sometimes it happens when I'm updating extensions.
Can I directly download and update apps WITHOUT using the Creative Cloud desktop app ?
Please advice.

I had the same problem on a Mac (CC update failing with a U44M1210 error.
. I just finished a chat with an Adobe specialist who walked me through the solution. So I recommend a chat to solve the problem for me (and I suspect all Mac users).
The Solution essentially this came down to the following:
Deleting the following:
OOBE and AAM Updater folders from ~/library/Application Support/Adobe
OOBE and Adobe Application Manager folders from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
Reinstalling the Adobe Application Manager.
Restarting the Creative cloud Application.

I have been trying to get the latest software update on my iPhone 4S 16GB for a few days. All of my apps are closed, iTunes version is current, and no other apps need updating. I am on WIFI and I just backed up my phone again; however, the software update will not work. The "estimated time remaining" fluctuates by random amounts as it tries to update as well (it may say 1 minute, then 15 minutes, then 2, then 8 - regardless of what the blue progress bar shows).
Here is the error message I receive: "Software Update Failed. An error occurred downloading iOS 6." Throughout the day today, I've also received a message stating, "cannot find update" - or something similar (I can't recall it verbatim).
What is causing this? Please help with detailed instructions. Thank you.

Dont know if any one has had this issue but I could never update iOS on my ipad2.
IT has ios5.1.1 and every time I try to update to ios6 it gives me software update failed error.
THe software was downloaded fine and it did try to install but no luck.
ANy help on this pls.

As Sneaky_Mouse suggested the best option is atm iTunes. Servers are probably going crayze.
If you cannot do it like that as well you can look for an iOS 7 ipsw (image file) and then, hold down either Option or Shift (on a Mac or Windows PC) and click Update; this will allow you to select the ipsw image.

On your Mac
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Network.
Select the network connection service you want to use (such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, unless you named it something else) from the list, and then click Advanced.
Click DNS, and then click Add at the bottom of the DNS Servers list. Enter the IPv4 address for the DNS server.
8.8.8.8
and then you can download the update via itunes
dont forget to put the original DNS back after the download
