Prepaid account balance reducing due to GPRS charges.

Hello. I am from India using Reliance GSM prepaid service on my BB curve 9380. I am facing a problem. I only use BBM 129 plan which is for BB Messenger only, it does not include net surfing or social networking which i don't use also. But my prepaid ac balance is reducing automatically due to gprs charges.I can't figure out why this is happening.will you please help me out to solve this problem? thanks in advance.

Apart from BBM do you watch any streaming videos like Youtube on your BlackBerry ? Or using any map application like Google Maps ? If you're then those will incur gprs charges .

Why does dialing *100# (to check prepaid account balance) work from dialer but not from contacts?

to check my prepaid account balance, I can dial *100# and my carrier sends me back a message with the balance information. I used to save this number under my contacts in my "feature phone" and it worked great.
With the ZTE Open from Movistar (Spain), dialing the number from the dialer works, I get the requested message. However, when I save this number under my contacts and I dial it from there, I don't get the requested message.
From the dialer, it doesn't really dial but sends information to the carrier which sends information back. From within the contacts, it seems to be treated as a phone number which is not recognized, and I get some sort of busy tone back.
Can this be settled in some way? This would be very convenient! I guess this is true for the complete target group of FFOS.

Going through contacts would probably take just as long as Dialing, But in this case i think it is to do with your Service Provider not the phone itself.
Remember Mozilla only make the OS it is probably your Provider that is making it do that.

Prepaid account balance notification after i send a text or when i recieve one?

Because i have a prepaid account, after i send a text message i get a notification of my account balance and what the last transaction cost. I have att/cingular...
My question is....Is there any possible way to turn the sound off when i get this notification?
I've tried every possible thing i know how to do...I've turned the sound off on my phone and it still "beeps".
I have a blackberry pearl 8100.

Nope, no way. ATT is going to send those and I "think" they come via SMS.
You would need to either disable your SMS notifications.
Or maybe create an exception in the profiles so that only SMS from ATT are silent, but I don't think this is possible.

GoPaid prepaid account balance alerts

So I opted to use the the prepaid monthly service plans because it's the only way you can stay out of a 2-year contract.
However, anytime I use email, the browser, SMS, or make a call, I get an alert screen telling me how much of my prepaid account I have left to use. Is there a way to turn that off?

I am seeing these alerts even at hours when I've not used the iPhone. This must be a glitch. I left the iPhone on overnight and had to dismiss around 30 of these alerts this morning. It clearly drains the battery—yesterday morning I woke up to about 85% of battery strength remaining, whereas this morning only about 40% remained. I had to recharge today after only 4 hours and 45 minutes of battery use. I know that all AT&T prepaid phones show these alerts after usage (SMS, phone, etc.) and I don't have a problem with that. In fact, it's kind of cool. But I think Apple & AT&T have to revisit the battery issue in future revisions. It's annoying to have alerts at all hours of the day and night (when you haven't been using your phone) that remind you of your balance! In any case, going the prepaid route has been fantastic, I highly recommend it.

i have a balance in my apple id of $104.00. when i purchased the new os, my credit card was charged instead of using the account balance. why?

1$ charge is a test to ensure the authorization of credit card. This amount is returned to customer's account.
Credit card information is not stored anywhere with us. We just have the last four digits of the credit card with us. Rest of the information is deleted from the system after use and instead a token is used which is secure and is not customer's credit card number.

BP balance due is 0 but account balance is 1 cent

When I open a BP master data, I got a 1cent account balance. Then I click the arrow of account balance. In the account balance window, the balance due is 0. Is this a SAP bug or anything wrong on the end user side? Thanks a lot.

IPhone on Prepaid plan pointless account balance messages

We've been discussing this issue on the ATT forums, but I feel that the only way to get it addressed it by Apple.
Currently if you are on the prepaid plan you receive account balance notices after every transaction (Phone call, Mail Check, Web Browsing).
Since the iPhone has an unlimited data plan you account balance doesn't change any time you access the edge network. Unfortunately ATT still sends you a message notifying you your account balance has not changed.
At first this isn't a big issue. Dismiss the message (Which you have to do before you can access ANYTHING on your phone) and continue on. The problem is if you have your phone checking for email (which is one of the point of having a phone like the iPhone), you'll receive a message every time your phone hits the network.
These messages can pile up and this morning I had to clear 15+ messages before I could use my phone. Talk about a terrible user experience.
Also if a balance message is present while a call comes in the screen doesn't respond. You first have to lock the phone by hitting the sleep/wake button, then unlock it again hitting the same button. It took me a while to figure out what was going on with that situation.
At the bottom of the page there is a link to the ATT support thread.
Please don't reply with ... We'll just get a contract and the messages will stop. I don't want to be on a contract plan. I enjoy the prepaid plan. It works for me.
So here is what I am looking for.
1) Can the messages be stopped on the iPhone side
2) If not, could Apple add a "Dismiss All" option. That would (for me at least) be an acceptable solution.
3) Why do the messages lock the screen when there is an incoming call?

There are a few points which I think need to be aired on this issue: that pre-paid is a perfectly viable option for the iPhone, that AT&T will do nothing to solve this issue, and that Apple, alone, can and should.
If pre-paid is an option both AT&T and, for less understandable reasons, Apple want to discourage, then may God help all of us pre-paid consumers. However, Apple should be interested in selling iPhones, and the deal to receive money from AT&T from subscribers is a problem, because is lessens Apple's motivation to tolerate iPhones being used as pre-paid phones, unlocked, you name it.
That said, pre-paid is a great option for those who use very few minutes (like me), who may be well-to-do foreigners only staying in America for a limited time, or who are uncertain if AT&T is a viable carrier. Tolerating it also projects a sense of respect for the consumer that Apple's target market would appreciate. I know I do.
AT&T, though, receives less of a commitment from consumers on pre-paid, and thereby less expected money, so they will do everything to fight it.
Apple, however, can easily modify their software to politely receive these notifications from AT&T, and then only inform the user if they choose to be so informed of the account balance in the iPhone's settings, or, even better, go into a spread-sheet like "Balance history" tab to explicitly view this information.
This is what Apple can do. It may take them a couple of man-hours to roll this into the next iPhone software update, but Apple: consider this worth it in light of being able to portray yourself as being on the consumer's side in the consumer-carrier tug-of-war that this, on however small a scale, has become.

It is a bad situation. Your credit card expired but you cannot change it because FormsCentral is retiring.

3000 execute F110 payment run and AP open item is cleared.
Payment order is generated and posted. Payment request is created.
IHC 3000010 account balance decrease by the payment amount.
IHC 1000010 account balance increase by the payemnt amount.
Company code 1000 with IHC account 1000010 execute F111 to pay the external payment.
After payment request is executed. Balance in 100010 does not decrease.
Why is it so?

ITunes account balance $25 with iTunes card but won't let me use it...

Ok I got 25 bucks in my iTunes account, but when I try to download somthing with my phone it tries to charge it to my debit card which has nothing on it. How can I resolve this problem???

You had a purchase total of $25.95 but a credit of only $25.00, so the iTunes Store will try to put the extra $.95 on another form of payment before it can process the order. If the card fails, the Store will hold a "balance due". If you redeemed another prepaid card, the amount due would probably be taken out of the total. If you fix the problem with your debit card, the balance due will probably then be automatically billed to the debit card, though I'm not sure.
I don't know why the iTunes Store isn't accepting your Missouri access card, but it's apparent that it's not an iPhone problem. If nothing on this web page:

If for business purposes then you might consider setting up a separate AppleID for rigorous accounting.
