  • Balance sheet evaluation

    Dear All,
    1) May I know balance sheet evaluation monthly activity will be reversed whereas year end will not be reversed? The practice is just like F101 balance sheet evaluation on open item?
    2) Also the balance sheet currency only in local currency or can be in foreign currency.
    3) what will be the impact if not run balance sheet evaluation?
    Thanks

    Hi,
There is no taker for this thread. Let me try to gain some points.
    1) It denotes stock valuation. Stocks have to be valuated at the time of preparation of balance sheet as per accounting standard which says the stocks should be valued either at cost or market value whichever is lower.
    2) Hence, for the case of inhouse manufactured product, the actual cost shall be taken. The actual cost is arrived by adding the per unit average variance for the whole year plus standard cost estimate.
    3) This exercise shall be done once in a year as on the date of balance sheet.
    4) Query not clear. Anyway, let me try.  As per accounting standard, the actual cost of the inhouse manufactured materials are arrived at by suming up per unit variance plus standard cost estimate.
    Trust this helps much!
    Cheers!

  • Balance sheets

Actually we preparing the balance sheets as per the companies act aswell as income tax act
here my question is what is the Difference between these two?
and how the values are differentiated between these two?
we are posting the values same p&l account and same way in to Balance Sheet itoms also?
    where the values are differentiated?
give me the exact point of different

To report differently first you need to create financial statement version according to Co act as well as IT act.
To create FSV check transaction OB58.
Once you crated FSV use transaction F.01 to execute the same.

  • P&L A/c and Balance Sheet according Schedule VI in PCA

    Dear SAP Gurus,
My cleint needs to see his P&L A/c and Balance Sheet according Schedule VI in Profit Center Accounting. Because all Branches are Profit Centers. So he need to see his Branches P&L and BS by Schedule VI.
How can I acheive this in Profit Center Accounting.
    Kindly assist me reg this....
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards,
    Balaji Bhonsle

    Hi Balaji bhau
You can copy your schedule VI financial statement version (FSV) from FI to PCA using KE5B
I hope you would be having FSV in your FI... Once you copy this, you can view your balances in schedule VI formats using EC-PCA reports
If you are on ECC 6.0 and use New GL - then you can use reports in FGI3 or prepare your own report painter reports using LIbrary 0FL

  • F.05 foreign currency revaluation (Balance sheet preparation valuation)

    Hi,
I have run the revaluation (F.05) for a balance sheet account by mistake ticking the "balance sheet preparation valuation" box. Hence i could see some value populated in the coulmn old differences in the revaluation report. Please advice will this have any wrong impact to that account. if so how can i reset the posting made and run the revaluation without ticking the "balance sheet preparation valuation" box.
    Thanks and Regards,
    VK

    Hello VK,
You could reset the valuation difference by using the following method:
1.T-cd:OB59->selecting the valuation method ->in valuation precedure area, selecting "reset" radio button->save it.
    2. T-cd:F.05 ->using the same parameters that you ticked the balance sheet preparation valuation" box when you ran F.05 last time.
3.After running F.05->BSEG-BDIFF will be reset to zero in valuated docs.

  • Foreign Currency valuation- balance sheet preparation valuation

    Hi,
I have a doubt in foreign currency valuation.
When we tick Balance sheet preparation valuation ( in t-code F.05), no reverse postings are generating, eventhough i tick reverse postings. why is this happening?.
What is happening when we use Balance sheet preparation valuation in Foreign currency valuation?
    Thanks,
    Vinay

    Vinay,
Yes as explained earlier it converts balance sheet from one( Local) currency to Another (foreign) currency on a particular date.
For example if your balance sheet currency is EUR and your foreign currency is USD. It will convert EUR into USD on that particular date on all open items and post it to
the expense and revenue accounts for exchange rate differences from valuations. For payable and receivables accounts you must also define the financial statements adjustment accounts.
This is what it happens check your own thread

  • Balance sheet as per Schedule VI, Excel Reporter Templete

    Hi
Please give  Excel Reporter Templete of Balance sheet as per Schedule VI for SAP B1 2007B PL34
    Thanks in advance
    Prasad

    Hi Prasad,
Are you sure you have B1 2007B PL34?  To my knowledge, the highest PL for 2007B would be < 17.  To ask for the template this may not be appropriated either.
Make sure what is your current PL and ask the question that others may reply easier.
    Thanks,

    Dear Madhu,
    Thanks for quick reply.
I have gone through th Sap Help stuff. I found it too much tehnical. It is good to clarify concepts. I will refer this link for conceptual clarity.
But do you have any report painter documentation with example and screenshots to solve my problem?
Already I have www.sapficoconsultant.com material of 92 pages. Apart from this please share any other documents if you have.

  • Balance sheet and schedules

I have to develop Balance sheet , P&L , All the schedules , Funds Flow , Cash Flow , Working capital statement , Ratio Analysi in BI.
I believe I can use 0FIGL_C10 to develop BS , PL , Funds Flow and Cash Flow.
Can anyone suggest me how I can develop Ratio Analysis , Schedules and Working capital statement. Is there any content I can use or I will have to develop generic datasources.
    Thanks

Normally you would use BCS to create measure hierarchies to do this
But you can do this the hard way usin the C10 cube and write loads of RKFs based on nodes of the gl account hierarcy (ie the R3 FSV)
In addition you can use the asset histroy sheet from the asset cube for the asset breakdowns (ie acquisitions for asset classes and asset history sheet groups)
You may also need to incorporate some AR and AP reports if the working capital splits are greater in detail than the GL accounts (ie complex aging buckets)
You may need the help of a BW FI consultant!

  • Local Gaap balance sheet unbalanced

    Hello all,
I am after some hints to tackle so following problem:
The local GAAP balance sheet (obtained with S_ALR_87012284) is unbalanced. Most probably it comes from the FI-AA ledger.
I went through note 104567 but it only explains a fraction of the difference.
The US GAAP balance sheet is however fine.
    We are on 4.6C.
    Help greatly appreciated
    Alex

Check FSV at OB58.  Probably that FSV may have un assigned accounts

  • IHC-Executing Balance Sheet Preparation

    HI Guru's,
Could any one please let me know what would be the effects of executing F9HL Executing Balance Sheet Preparation in IHC.
It is quite urgent Help would be very much appreciated.
    With Best Regards,
    M. Naveen Kumar.

    Hi
The balance sheet preparation is a must before you can post to SAP GI from IHC. The program is checking what balances to post to the GL - as these are netted, this pre step is carrying out this netting and thus preparing the transfer.

    Hello
Check T/Code OB58 for defining Financial Statement Version
    Choose the FSV " BAIN"
The country template for India comes with its own financial statement version, BAIN. You can use it to prepare financial statements in accordance with Schedule VI of the Companies Act 1956. This act lists the headings under which the individual accounts are to be grouped. Each of the headings is represented by an item in the financial statement version.
Assign the FSV to Company Code and also to your Depreciation areas like Tax area, Book area
Remember to group the GL accounts created in your chart of accounts.
    Reg
    assign points if useful
