Prerequisites to Develop Adobe Interactive form using Webdynpro for Java

Hi All,
What are the prerequisites to develop adobe interactive form. In Service market place where I can get the download link of Adobe Designer and what are the stpes I need to follow in the configuration side. I have gone through the following link but I did not get any information related to configuration side. Can you guys please provide any help links related to adobe forms?.

Adobe Interactive forms - ABAP Webdynpro or JAVA Webdynpro?

Hi,
I am an ABAPER and I got few requirements for Adobe Interactive forms Offline Scenario/Online scenarios & ALV reports.
I have practiced a session ( How Tou2026execute an RFC model with inputs from Interactive Formswith RFC Module ) -JAVA webdynpro where it interacts with SAP via BAPI.
Now my question is I am bent more towards ABAP.. I want to do this in ABAP but unfortunately I haven't found any similar material for ABAP webdynrpo.Could anyone pls suggest me !
FYI.. We are also developing some ALV Webdynpro reports and I am using PURE ABAP which i like it.
So the other reason is we don't want install NWDI and complicate this structure as we don't have ESS/MSS requirment here. Just we need some forms/reports on portal.
Any suggestions and links which can help me here?

You can develop Interactive forms using WD ABAP also.

WD Java is useful in case, when your ABAP system is less than ECC 6.0. Otherwise you can achieve same functionalities in WD ABAP also.

Dropdown List in Adobe Interactive Form Using Webdynpro ABAP

Hi Pals,
In my scenarion I need to list the Rating Code in the Dropdown list box of the Interactive Form.
Form Created by using SFP transaction
Not XML Schema interface
Passing the values to the Form by using the default function module that which created automatically while creating the Form
Am binding the Field and also binding for the list Item. Even though the values are not listing.
$record.sap-vhlist.<Field name>\.DATA\.FIELD.item[*]
I have followed the above format , but no use ...
Field Name : rating_code
$record.sap-vhlist.RATING_CODE\.DATA\.FIELD.item[*]
Field Name : value
$record.sap-vhlist.VALUE\.DATA\.FIELD.item[*]
but it is not working for me, will appreciate if some one really help me to fix this.!!!!

For the form buttons to work on-line in your WebDynpro app, you need to change the PDF form to be Dynamic:

In this code segment, "InteractiveForm" is the UI id.
I was able to get that far, but I although I add subforms dynamically via javascript, the mapped WebDynpro context node doesn't pick up any new elements.
ie: if I start with two WD context elements (0..n) cardinality, then add a third via the form JavaScipt button, I see changes only in the two context elements when I submit. A third context element isn't created or populated.

- to download offline PDF forms.
- to upload PDF forms and display Forms online.

Downloading a form is as simple as when u enduser opens a form online, he just saves a copy of it, fills it up and uploading is just the next step.

Developing Adobe Interactive forms in SAP R/3 4.7

I have a client requirement of developing Adobe Interactive forms for automating exisiting manual processes. The SAP version being used is SAP 4.72.
Could anyone please let me know what all is required to implement it and how that can be done in brief.

You will have to use WD Java for integrating Interactive forms with SAP version 4.7
NetWeaver developer Studio ( NWDS) is the tool used for this integration. Data can be passed from SAP to WD Java using RFCs.

Unable to test Adobe interactive form from webdynpro

This is the out put i get when i test run the report 'FP_TEST_IA_01'.As suggested in SAP NOTE : 999998
ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: Could not retrieve a password for credential: ReaderRights(200.101).
Actually i was trying my first Adobe interactive form with webdynpro and when i tested it i got this message.
The following error text was processed in the system NED : WebDynpro Exception: The ADS call has failed. You can find information about the cause in the error.pdf on the application server
Does Adobe interactive form requires Java stack to be active??
Or is it only a configuration issue in ADS???
What all should i take care in order to successfully run an adobe interactive form???

Adobe Interactive Form Shows Blank (WD JAVA ZCI)

Hi Expert,
I have the following problem.
I developed an Adobe interactive Form embebed in WD java app with success in DEV environment, but i have an issue in QA environment.
When i run the Adobe Form logged in portal, the application runs fine, but, when i do unlogged, WD app run fine but Adobe Form shows blank
Any idea?

In the Visual Admin of the server that runs the ADS check under server->services->destinations click on http folder. There should be something under that called FP_ICF_DATA_<sid of backend>. If there is not then create one in there.

Reading/Writing .xlsx files using Webdynpro for Java

Dear All
I have a requirement to read/write excel files in .xlsx format. I am good in doing it with .xls format using jxl.jar. The jxl.jar doesn't support .xlsx format. Kindly help me in understanding how do I need to proceed on reading/writing .xlsx files using Webdynpro for Java.

i am using jdk 1.6.22 and IBM WebSphere
when i use poi-3.6-20091214.jar and poi-ooxml-3.6-20091214.jar to read .xlsx file. but i am getting following errors
The project was not built since its classpath is incomplete. Cannot find the class

I done all, but I'm getting 500 Exception please contact u r system admin meag at run time also Jxl/Workbook class not found msag but i downloaded Jxl.jar file and there is no error signals in coding part. How can I solve the Problem.

You can have the MDM JAVA API javadocs from the link
http://help.sap.com/javadocs/MDM/SP06P2/index.html
There you can see a package named com.sap.mdm.examples.The classes in it contains some examples using which you can start understanding the code.
You need to have MDM JAR files for it. And these JAR files to be used at build time can be added to the project thru :-
Right click on project-> properties->Java Build Path - > Add external JARs
At run time you can add them the reference in
Right click on project-> properties->web dynpro references->library reference.
