Price Automatic updation

Dear Gurus,
we have 2 kinds of material.1.even 2.odd.
while doing sales of even materials price is 100 (for eg).if we create sales order for odd materials it should automatically update its price to 10 % extra than even materials.
the pricing condition type should update depending on even and odd material.
is it possible to do in standard development or we have to go Zprogram??

You have a have additional surcharge condition type (%), say, ZSUR under your base price condition type.
Take help of ABAPer to write a routine for "Alternative formula for condition base value". The routine will have logic, where this surcharge will execute only when there is odd quantity entried.
To have automatic surcharge to come in Sales order, maintain condition record with desired %.
For your reference/understanding you can refer, standard condition type KP01-Incomp.Pallet Surch. @ step 805 with Alt. formula for cond base val routine 24-1 if partial quant.

How the last net price gets updated in PO?

Hi All,
Wanted to know how the last price gets updated in the PO? So whenever one creates a PO after that for the same material, the system by itself suggest the previous PO price which was created for this material.
But its not happening this time? Can anyone tell me the reason for that?

Dear Swathi ji,
Price will updated in PO two ways.
one way in through Info record and other way in contract
if you want update your price after creation PO do it one simple way see item details tab ->material data in that info update tab available.if you check this your po price automatically updated.
but one main reson is allways po price will pick first in contract then info record

Automatic update net price in PO creation

Dear expert,
I just found an issue while creating a new PO.
I fill in all data needed, included net price. And when I press "enter", surprisingly the system automatically update the Net price with last PO price. and I need to manually change again the net price with current price.
Anyone can describe why system automatically update the PO price? is there any setting to inactivate it??

3. How does price determination determine the conditions via a 'Last
    purchase order'?
Answer:
If the info record does not contain any valid conditions, but a "last
document" exists for the info record, the system copies all of the
conditions from this document if the following prerequisites are met:
    o The net price must be zero (EKPO-NETPR = 0.00) after the system
       has carried out price determination.
                                                                 Page 5
       However, the net price is not zero after price determination has
       taken place and the system does not copy the conditions from the
       last PO if master conditions that are included in the net price
       calculation are maintained at, for example, vendor level or
       material group level.
    o The last document is not a request for quotation.
    o The info record has not been deleted.
    o The vendor and the material in the info record are identical to
       the vendor and the material in the last document.
    o The calculation schema of the last document is the same as the
       current schema that has been determined.
The system simply executes a copy function to transfer the conditions
from the last document. The system does not check for requirements for
the calculation schema.
The system does not copy the condition records of the subsequent
settlement (the condition type has the condition class "C"); instead,
they are always determined again to ensure that the condition records
are consistent with the field contents (also see Note 486757).
If you generally do not want the system to transfer the conditions from
the last PO, you can use the user parameter EVO to deactivate this (also
see Note 675523).
So you can use the parameter EVO.

Its not possible in Std. SAP system...
There is no field provided for the same...
the other way, but doesn't applies to you...as you are doing massive job...
still if req. then check..
The other way is:
Maintain Quotation and ref. it in inforecord...price gets updated easily from it...

How can I put share prices into excel that will automatically update when I open excel?

You can upgrade direct from 10.6.8 to 10.8 Mountain Lion without going through 10.7 Lion with the Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody. The Model 5,1 will probably run 10.9 Mavricks when it comes out.

Mountain Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.

IW41: automatic update of activity type when changing the work center?

Hello colleagues,
when doing a time confirmation with IW41, we have following problem:
In the PM order the operations are assigned to a neutral executing work center, as it not known which individual technician is completing the operation later on.
Now when the individual technician is entering the time confirmation with IW41, system is proposing the work center indicated in the operation from the PM order, then technician is overwriting the work center proposal with his own individual work center ID (and pressing Enter), but the activity type is not getting updated automatically. So the technician must jump to field "activity type" and choose the correct activity type.
Is there any solution (hopefully with user exits!) to have the field "activity type" automatically updated with the one indicated in the work center, which was entered manually?

Hi Maheswaran,
yes, as usual all PM work centers have only 1 activity type assigned in the costing tab.
We also checked the settings of the activity type (KL03), but we just found one difference: the price indicator was set on 3 "Determined manually" - we've changed to 1 "Plan price, automatically based on activity" (..same setting as for the act. type of the work center with working update of act.type).
We tested already all possible constellations and scenarios, but we have not found any good reason for the behaviour.

For my e-commerce site I need to setup, when a customer picks an attribute (such as 'Custom Artwork +£5.00') The price on the large product layout updates automatically before proceeding to the Shopping Cart for the price to update.

In case you still in need, (assuming you are using the attribute to pass the information to the cart) you can adjust the displayed price to reflect the selected option.

I know that the price may change and hence the amount field is kept open for changes, but i want the amount can update automaticlly when i change qty because when we create invoice (MIRO) the quantity not always same with total PO qty (partial invoice), maybe you can look this my illustration :
1 . PO number = 4500000001
     Qty            = 5
     Price         = 10
     Net Price   = 50
2. GR number = 5000000001
     Qty       = 2
     Amount in local currency = 20
3. GR number = 5000000002
     Qty       = 3
     Amount in local currency = 30
4. create Invoice (MIRO)
      Qty =5 -->this default by system, (now we want to change to 2, for invoicing PO number one)
      Amount = 50 --> this default by system (we want this amount automatclly to become 20)
5. create second invoice

I automatically updated to Firefox 4.0.1 for Mac, and now the program misbehaves. It hangs when I try to quit. Can I downgrade to 4.0?

I was running 4.0 on my Intel Mac (Leopard 10.5.8), and everything was fine. Firefox automatically updated me to 4.0.1. Then I noticed my computer running very slowly. I am unable to quite Firefox without forcing a quit.
Can I reinstall 4.0? If so, where can I download the original version?

Your users agent is stuck at Firefox 3.0.11 due to a extension during when you had 3.0.11 and it tacked on stuff on end and kept it from updating the version number. This was due to the "Fast Browser Search toolbar" extension (FBSMTWB). This issue is not a problem with Firefox 4.0 and newer.

In Pages 5, how to get date to automatically update upon opening a template?

I'm using Pages 5.2. In prior versions of Appleworks and Pages I was able to construct and save a template in which the date would automatically update to the current date when the template was opened. I have tried "Insert Date" and I can click on that to update to current date, but I don't always remember to do that and therefore, some of my documents are dated several months prior.
Can't seem to find how to do it under Pages 5.2 Anyone have help or a work around?

What confuses me is that all the apple provided templates in pages seem to auto update their time and date upon opening.
So there MUST be a way to do it... although I've been unable to work out how...

Numbered lists in text boxes automatically updating

I have seperate text boxes that are involved in numbered lists, and I want to be able to reorder the text boxes so that they automatically update the numbers within them. How do I do this?! As you can see when I move the text box containing 2.0 numbered list, the following numbers do not update. How do I create this updating numbered list in seperate text boxes?

If you mean the text function in the drawing toolbar, it isn't possible.
You should use frames.
