Pricing in tender scenario

Hi All,
We have a scenario wherein the sales are through a tender process. There is one purchasing company which represents all the buyers. This purchasing company floats tenders for different regions in the country. Whichever company wins the tender can sell to all the buyers in the region. However, the orders will be placed by this purchasing company only and will be shipped to the buyers. Now my client has won tender for one region for one material. We need to maintain pricing in such a way that all orders for this Purchasing company and ship to in that region get the tender price. Maintaining prices at sold to/ship to combination will be very data maintenance intensive and hence we are looking for a better solution

  • Reg : Pricing Schemas and Scenario

    Dear Gurus,
    Our Scenario is as
Ours is Subcontracting Firm of books.
We send raw materials to Subcontract vendor and recieve the goods at Warehouse plants.
At this Warehouse a Budget alloacation is done for Sales of Finished goods(say for example 10 lakhs).
Then after warehouse guy has to claim Sold goods Revenue(Money) from Head office.
Question 1 : what process shall be guided for him to claim Money from Head Office.(one thing i got in mind is raise PR,PO then follow the process) Apart from it any other work around.
Question 2 : During this process there might be lot of scenarios like books got damaged etc etc.
But no return of goods only Money should be paid by head office to Warehouse guy.
In this case Pricing schemas should also be written.my quesiton is  whether pricing schema is related to SD or MM.

  • MM:Pricing Procedure: INDIA scenario.

    Dear Friends,
Generally we have two pricing procedures : One for local and Two: for imports
Is it possible to have a single Pricing procedure for both ? Suggest me how can we combine the two to get the same results for these different processes. Considering the implications of taxes please explain in detail.
i will be very thankful to u all.
    Regards,
    Deepak Andhale

    Hello Deepak,
It is always suggested to have defferent pricing procedure each for import and domestic. This will make the buyer's life easy.

  • I need to host a website with a SQL database - Azure pricing details are too confusing

    Hello,
I need to give a potential client a hosting price for a somewhat simple web application they want me to build. I told them it shouldn't be a problem. After gathering the requirements, I figured I would use the following technology to build and host
    it:
    ASP.NET 4.5
    MVC 5
1 SQL Database ~ 25GB with options to expand and also with a backup
    SSL certificate needed
Hosting would be on Azure because I have some experience using Visual Studio 2012 and integrating the Visual Studio Online (TFS) source code and scrum web applications. I've never actually spun up a website with a SQL database using Azure before, but I
imagined it wasn't too difficult to find a general hosting plan to support the above requirements.
The use of the website will be very simple and limited to the basic CRUD operations. Will support forms authentication using the Identity 2.0 framework. The web applications main purpose is to fill out a form for new accounts, have a search page for
those accounts, a page to view a created account and add notes to it. So performance wise, it isn't asking for much. I just want it to be fast and secure.
So I start looking on the Azure's pricing landing page which is here: (can't put links in here, but search Azure pricing on Bing) and I see this Pricing Calculator, so I click it
First thing I notice is the Websites tab doesn't mention SQL Database - in fact the Data Management is a separate tab from Websites. And if I made my selections on the Websites tab, the estimated monthly price doesn't stay the same when I go to the Data
Management tab - so I get the illusion I have to have two separate purchases.
I'm not exactly sure if the Pay as You Go billing feature would be okay because it's just a bit scary to leave every monthly payment up to chance; somewhat. Would love to know if there is other payment options that I could see for what I described above.
I want to use Azure to host my asp.net website - it makes sense and the integration with Visual Studio is amazing. I love the publish feature for both MVC 5 Projects and SQL Database Projects.
Thanks in advance for the help!

    Hello jdevanderson,
I suggest that you start by looking at the pricing TIERS for the Azure website. This link will give you clarity on different Service TIERS that are availaible:
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/pricing/details/websites/
You can guage your requirement and choose the Service TIER accordingly.
And regarding the database, you are right about it. You will be charged seperately for the database. You can refer to this link that will give you clarity on SQL database pricing:
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/pricing/details/sql-database/
Refer to this link for more information on 'How pricing works':
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/pricing/
Use the full calculator to add your website and the database to get an estimated cost:

  • New to Azure - Question on Pricing

I am new to Azure, so please excuse if something I am obviously missing.
I am looking at Azure for mainly cloud hosting. I am also comparing it with Amazon AWS and Google Cloud offering. I see the prices for Azure are quite higher (VMs).
    1) Does the pricing include anything bundled ?
    2) Am I also getting charged for Windows ?

There's nothing bundled in VM pricing - at least not spelled out as such. Pricing can vary depending on VM Size which takes into consideration RAM/CPU/Number of Disks (1TB max each, which also adds IOPS). Although you can consider things like WAN IPs as
bundled in. Some pre-configured VMs like SQL can be thought of as the software license bundled in.
You're not charged for Windows. So, I suppose you can consider Windows license pricing as bundled in..

  • VAT in Purchase Pricing Procedure

    Hi All,
How can i use MWST condition type in my pricing.
    Like scenario is as below.
    CIF- 100.00
    Duty- 50.00
    Vat (110*x CIF+ Duty) * 15% - 24.75
here i need to maintain this VAT, but i cannot with tax code through TAX Procedure because freight, insurance, duty are defined in Pricing procedure.
if i maintain through TAX Procedure the above calculation cannot be acheived.
How can i post VAT amount through Purchasing Pricing Procedure.
Advise in this regard is really helpful & highly appreciated.
    Regards

    Hi Anand
I too develop a new condition type for Vat in mm pricing procedure.
Our business process is as follows
We r transferring material to one depot to another to UK. we are doing STO through SD route. i created a vat condition type which is non inventorised and subsequently  refund will be received.
Problem is that Accounting entries are not generating after doing PGI. Plese give your inputs on this.
I created a new gl accouts and assigned to posting keys.

  • Control through routine-sales

    Hi,
Can I control field like VBAK-AUGRU through condition type reqiurement in pricing ?
My scenario is if one particular condtion type (say ZCM1) is using in credit memo Sales Doc. then a particular order reason should be accepted by system & for anyother it should throw error.
    thanks in advance
    Regrds
    San

    Hi san
You can use a routine for the condition type for  which the customization is being done.
You can use the routine and assign to that condition type .
So you need to give the inputs and the logic to the ABAP'ers and accordingly they will create the routine .

  • Rebate Agreement Replication CRM to R3 and vice-versa

    Hi All,
We have a requirement of creating Rebate Agreement and maintaining the conditions in the same.
When we create an order (in R3 or CRM) the values has to be populated from the rebate agreement.
    Scenario A:
The setup of rebate is completed in R3, we have downloaded the conditions from R3 to CRM and when we are creating the order in CRM the rebates are not getting recognized. Upon analysis we found that we have to download the rebate agreements too and the respective object is REBATE_DNL_AGR.
(Rebates are working fine for Pricing in R3.)
    Scenario B:
We have tried an workaround of creating rebate agreements in CRM and uploading them to R3, object used is REBATE_AGRMNTS but no success.
(In this case rebates are working fine for Pricing in CRM.)
We are facing issues in replicating the Rebate agreements from CRM to R3 and vice versa.
When we do the initial load R3AS of below objects, they are not progressing and not appearing in queues too. Status is always running
CRM to R3 for rebate agreement – REBATE_AGRMNTS
R3 to CRM  for rebate agreement - REBATE_DNL_AGR
If you have any inputs, pls share. Thanks
    Regards,
    MK

    Hi  Kalyan,
Did you achieve scenario B ?. You also mentioned that for scenario B , it works fine with pricing in CRM. Was the billing happening in CRM or ECC in that case ?.
Did the scenario A worked ?.

  • Advise for adding larger internal hard drive & faster processor

After five years it is time to make some upgrades to my G4 Quicksilver 733 MHz Tower. The hard drive is nearly full and the processor doesn't seem as fast as it once did (especially after using my faster PowerBook G4). I want to replace the 40GB hard drive with a 128GB hard drive. What is the best way to transfer the data and information (applications, etc.). Should I add it as a second hard drive and transfer the data that way then remove the original one? Perhaps I should move all my data from an aux hard drive I have. Should I do a clean install of the operating system and then transfer the rest of the data? If you make a second hard drive I guess you have to identify one as a "master" and the original one as the "slave", or should I do it the opposite way? Any advise would be helpful. Also I want to upgrade to a 1.8 duel processor. One person told me I may be disappointed with the results since the speed of the mother board limits the performance of the processor. Is that true? I have already maxed out the RAM so I should be fine there. Any advise to these issues would be most appreciated.

    Hi
You could use a utility like Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper to clone your existing drive:
    http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html
    http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html
Alternatively you could just reinstall everything from scratch. I tend to do a reinstall and have a bit of a clean out, only reinstalling those apps etc I still actually use.
I'd have both drives installed internally to do the cloning or transferring of data across after a reinstall. You could then remove the original drive or just leave it for use as a backup disk or temporary storage area etc. With two drives installed, one will need to be set to master and one to slave. With one drive installed, it will need to be set to master. I don't think it really matters which way around you do it.
In terms of processor upgrades, the 133MHz system bus/memory will become a bottleneck at some point, but it partly depends on which applications you're using at the time and whether they're processor bound or bandwidth starved. IMHO there's a sweet spot where you get the most bang for the buck. A higher clocked processor would probably still be faster in real world terms, but I suspect you get diminishing returns for the extra cost involved.
When I upgraded my Quicksilver, I intended to get a single 7455 based processor upgrade from OWC. They're resonably priced and tend to be faster in real world usage than a 7447 based processor upgrade running at the same clock speed due to the extra level 3 cache (which partly helps to offset the limited bus speed). In the end though I managed to get a dual 1GHz processor card pulled from another Quicksilver in OWC's clearance section. The advantages were it's an original Apple part which didn't require any firmware updates, software patches or additional fans etc. The disadvantages were it's a four year old part with a limited warranty and the heat sink had to be reattached using thermal paste etc.
    I hope this helps.

  • Windows azure and project server

    Hello,
I am investigating the possibilities of hosting MS Project server on windows azure.  I have questions as follows:
    - Can MS project server 2010 be installed on azure
    - if I have a license of MS project 2010 and on azure I install the same version can I use the same license without purchasing a new one for MS project server?
    - I found this link http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/?scenario=full# for azure pricing calculations, but I do not see there sharepoint cost and project server cost. What will be approximate cost for these two platforms on azure?
Also please let me know if there is some other information that I may need regarding this hosting.
    Thank you,

    Hi,
From my research, As Azure does support the creating of Virtual Machines there is nothing to stop you using this environment to install SQL, SharePoint and Project Server. This is a fully supported environment, All Microsoft software that is installed in
the Windows Azure Virtual Machine environment must be properly licensed. By default, Windows Azure Virtual Machines include a license for use of Windows Server in the Windows Azure environment. Certain Windows Azure Virtual Machine offerings may also include
additional Microsoft software on a per-hour or evaluation basis. Licenses for other software must be obtained separately. For information about Microsoft’s License Mobility program see
Volume Licensing. In some cases, specific versions of Microsoft server software are required for support. These versions are noted in following article.
    Details:
    Microsoft Project Server
Microsoft Project Server 2013 and later versions are supported.
    Microsoft SharePoint Server
Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and later versions are supported on Windows Azure Virtual Machines.
Microsoft doesn't look inside your VMs, from my experience, if you have the licensed, you will not be charged for Microsoft Project Server. Hope it helps.

  • Website billing - Free, Shared, and Basic

I have a customer who may want to move their website/SQL database to Azure, so I am doing some price analysis to make sure I am presenting the options correctly. They are currently using DiscountASP and they are also considering their new cloud offering,
EVERLEAP (which uses Microsoft Azure Pack.) Their prices are VERY competitive, but I know the service with Azure  would be more robust. I have an MSDN Premium subscription and I am using my monthly credits with that subscription to analyze how billing
    works.
My client's website is quite small, and I believe they will be fine using a Shared website, since they need a custom domain name and you can't use a free website for that. I am trying to compare the other features of the Shared website with the Free and
Basic offerings, but it is not even listed on the pricing page for websites!
http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/websites/ For the other features besides custom domain name, is it more like the Free or like the Basic? Specifically,
How much disk space do I get with a Shared site?
Is there a maximum daily bandwidth? What happens if they go over that amount? Is it just charged per the Outbound Data Transfer rates, or is their access blocked?
Can I get SSL with a Shared site, or do I need to upgrade to Basic?
How many Web Sockets do I get? And what does this really mean in regards to users accessing the site?
Is there any SLA for the Shared website?
What is the cost/hour for a Shared website? Based on my testing, it appears to be $0.01/hour or $7.50/month, but the Pricing Calculator page (http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/?scenario=web)
shows $0.013/hour, or $9.68/month. What would my client actually pay?
Is the Shared website really still in Preview?
Their site sometimes sends out emails to users. Is there an SMTP server in Azure that we can use to send those emails out? I presume those emails will count towards the maximum daily bandwidth as Outbound Data Transfers?
Incidentally, over a week ago, I tried sending these questions to the Azure Support person who sent me emails last month asking if I needed anything, and I have not heard back from them (they are a V-badge Microsoft Vendor.) Then I tried typing up a support
ticket, and after typing this all up, when I hit Submit, it all disappeared and never created the ticket. So that's why I am here on the Forum asking these questions.
    Thank you,

    Cindy Kee, CNC Consulting

    Hi Cindy,
If you wants to know the details of Azure websites cost, I suggest you could use the Azure Pricing Calculator to estimate your cost. Please refer to this page:
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/
    >>How much disk space do I get with a Shared site?
    >>Is there a maximum daily bandwidth? What happens if they go over that amount? Is it just charged per the Outbound Data Transfer rates, or is their access blocked?
    >>How many Web Sockets do I get? And what does this really mean in regards to users accessing the site?
Base on my experience, It seems that shared site has 1G file storage. But data transfer cost is pay as you go. And you have the 5 websocket connections , please see this page for more details(http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2013/11/14/introduction-to-websockets-on-windows-azure-web-sites/
    >>Is there any SLA for the Shared website?
No,Shared website don't have SLA. Please see this blog(http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2014/04/21/azure-web-sites-new-basic-pricing-tier/ ).
    >>What is the cost/hour for a Shared website? Based on my testing, it appears to be $0.01/hour or $7.50/month, but the Pricing Calculator page (http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/calculator/?scenario=web)

I am not sure your subscription has the discount. About this issue, you need contact the Azure Billing support team for more details ( http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/support/contact/
    >>Is the Shared website really still in Preview?
No, this feature have already GA.
