Pricing schema does not sum two quantities
Dear all,
Pricing schema does not sum two quantities
300 0 NETW
301 0 OWST 210 210
302 0 YOKI 300 301---Here I expext from SAP to sum NETW and OWST.
However it does not do it.
How can I fix this error.
I read our PP as Line 302 will use the sum of lines 301 and 302 as the base for the YOKI condition.
The pricing procedure never adds quantities - it only adds values. Not sure if that is what you are intending.
Look at the details for the line and check if the base value is what you expect.
Also check the following:
1. Is there a Alt Condition Base formula on line 302?
2. Is YOKI a condition that uses the value as a base. (If it's based on quantity, then the value is not used.)
If you want to have line 302 as sum of the values from 300 and 302 - remove the condition type from the line.

ORA-19007: Schema - does not match expected T0090.xsd for non xsd owner
I have registered an xsd in /home/divload/xsd/T0090.xsd. User "prmt" is the owner of this resource. User prmt can schemavalidate xml against this xsd just as it is now. However, I have package code in "prmt_app" user account that will actually do the schemavalidate - not prmt user. When I run the exact same code using the exact same xml with the T0090.xsd above I am getting ORA-19007: Schema - does not match expected T0090.xsd. prmt_app has "all" privs on "/home", "/home/divload", "/home/divload/xsd", and "/home/divload/xsd/T0090.xsd". What am I missing?

/ I guess my understanding was that I could grant another oracle user access to my registered schema just like I can grant a single user access to a table. Evidently I only have two options. Only the schema owner can use the schema or everyone can use the schema and I cannot grant access to a single user other than myself.

It works OK for me.
I also posted another code today which searches a single column in all tables of the database. I spent about an hour working on that code and it works fine for me too.

Pricing doc. does not exist in CRM Sales Doc Creation
Hello gurus
I am new to Sales within CRM and recently have set up the IPC.
The IPC communicates with the CRM Server without any issues. I have download all data required in the IPC.
When I create a new sales order in CRM all is ok apart from the conditions tab, this shows Pricing doc. does not exist. - Diagnosis
You tried to access pricing information. However, a valid pricing document is not available.
Any ideas?

BarryHi Barry,
Please check first whether a pricing procrdure is correctly defined under Spro->CustomerRelationship Management->Basic Functions -> Pricing ->Determine Pricing Procedures.
Here please check whether for the Sales Area(that you use in your order) an procing procedure is correctly defined. Otherewise pricing will not happen.
To explain about Customer Pricing Procedure and Document Pricing Procedure
The pricing procedure defined here in the above path is generaly a combination of 1)Document Procing procedure and 2)Customer Pricing Procedure.
Document Pricing Procedure - This is assocaited with the transaction type. Goto the transaction type details in spro and there you will find the association.
Customer Pricing Procedure - This is associated with thh Business Partner. Select the BP(in sold to party role) and select "Sales Area" tab and in the "Billing" tab you will find this information.
Note that the pricing procedure need not have both the Document Pricing Procedure and Customer Pricing Procedure defined.Any one can also be present. It depends on the business requirement.
In your case can you please check whether the Pricing Procedure is prsent at all.

Preview does not sum column data in PDF forms
Preview is way better than Acrobat for most purposes, but it has some basic limitations that just make it hard to use. for example I have to use this form that asks you to enter $ in a table, however Preview does not sum the column, it just puts a "0" in. Why doesn't Preview add? Plus, this default behaviour makes it harder to paste in my own number as there is a zero in the way. At least it would be nice if it could just remove the 0 and leave me with an editble section. Is this just the product of a badly created PDF form or, as I suspect, a limitation of Preview?
I'm having the exact problem. I have a fillable PDF form that has many checkboxes. Saving the pdf (doesn't matter whether it's 'Save', 'Save All', or 'Save As' under the File menu) will clear/reset the checkboxes in the file.
Anyone know of a workaround for this? Or, is Apple fixing this soon? I really don't want to get Acrobat Pro 9 (well, I don't think it's compatible with Snow Leopard yet anyway)
If you'd like a sample PDF file to try it out, let me know.
Thanks. -
Hi,
I want to load a XML document in structured XMLType. You can run my code on your database if you have a directory object called LOG_DIR. I am on Oracle 10.1 .
The schema is a simple example which describe a database table(like it will have 1 or more columns and 0 or more indexes). My schema looks like,
<xs:schema elementFormDefault="qualified" attributeFormDefault="unqualified" xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="Tables" type="Table">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>Table defination</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
</xs:element>
<xs:element name="table_name" type="xs:string"/>
<xs:complexType name="Table">
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="Column" type="Column" minOccurs="1"/>
<xs:element name="Index" type="Index" minOccurs="0"/>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
<xs:complexType name="Column">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>Column of the table</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="Name" type="xs:string" minOccurs="1"/>
<xs:element name="Type" type="xs:string" minOccurs="1"/>
<xs:element name="Capacity" type="xs:decimal" minOccurs="1"/>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
<xs:complexType name="Index">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>Index on the table</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element name="Name" type="xs:string" minOccurs="1"/>
<xs:element name="Type" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0"/>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:schema>
I registered the schema,
BEGIN
DBMS_XMLSCHEMA.registerSchema(
SCHEMAURL => 'tables.xsd',
SCHEMADOC => bfilename('LOG_DIR','tables.xsd'),
CSID => nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')
END;
This was successfull, also the following create table was ok,
CREATE TABLE TMP_XML_TABLES
file_name VARCHAR2(2000),
load_date DATE,
xml_document XMLType
XMLType COLUMN xml_document
XMLSchema "http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/schemas/TDB/tables.xsd"
ELEMENT "Tables";
Now I have a XML document,
<Tables xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="http://xmlns.oracle.com/xdb/schemas/TDB/tables.xsd">
<table_name>trades</table_name>
<Column><Name>trade_id</Name><Type>varchar2</Type><Capacity>50</Capacity></Column>
<Column><Name>source</Name><Type>varchar2</Type><Capacity>100</Capacity></Column>
<Column><Name>trade_date</Name><Type>date</Type></Column>
<Column><Name>trader</Name><Type>varchar2</Type><Capacity>200</Capacity></Column>
<Index><Name>trades_pk</Name><Type>btree</Type></Index>
<Index><Name>trades_idx1</Name><Type>bitmap</Type></Index>
</Tables>
When I am trying to load this, I get the error,
SQL> INSERT INTO TMP_XML_TABLES
2 VALUES
3 ('tables1.xml',
4 sysdate,
5 XMLType
6 (
7 bfilename('LOG_DIR','tables1.xml'),
8 nls_charset_id('AL32UTF8')
9 )
10 );
INSERT INTO TMP_XML_TABLES
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-19007: Schema - does not match expected tables.xsd.
Can somebody please explain the cause ???
Thanks and RegardsA quick search of the forum for ORA-19007 should have allowed you to find the answer to your problem. Since you XML Schema does not declare a target namespace you need to use the xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation tag rather than the schemaLocation tag..
Also please do not use URLs starting http://xmlns.oracle.com for your schemaLocation hint. If you do no own your own domain I'd suggest example.org...
Finally please make sure that your XML Instance is valid per your XML Schema before posting. You can do this using tools like JDeveloper or XMLSpy. What should have been a 5 min repsonse took me over 20 mins to work through due to the errors in the XML Schema...
Anyway here's a working example for you

BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE does not know excessive quantities
Written to: Fr May 19, 2006 13:40 title: BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE does not know excessive quantities
Hello
As per OSS reference 304122
íst the BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for the reservation of incoming goods
to use. This becomes in manual enterprise over those
Goods received posting (Migo incoming goods for order) booked.
It is to be booked possible also with the BAPI an excessive quantity.
BSP ordered quantity of 50 tons
supplied Mende 55 tons (tolerance value with 99,9).
The following values are handed over
Beeches of incoming goods over BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
The following values are handed over
Uebergabeparmeter must
Order (PO_NUMBER)
Order item (PO_ITEM)
Transaction type (MOVE_TYPE9
Movement characteristic (8MVT_IND)
Quantity in collection quantity unit (ENTRY_QNT)
ISO code unit for collection quantity unit (ENTRY_UOM_ISO)
or
Delivery number
Does someone have an idea, how excessive quantities with this BAPI can be booked??
are for everyone tap gratefully.

Discoverer report does not sum up the column
Hi All,
I am running the discoverer report from discoverer desktop and was
trying to use the sum function to sum the total amount of the report.
The sum function does not work and it only display Cell
Sum: (blank) with no actual data.
When i checked the report details some columns are calculated based on the columns which i want to sum up.
Any ideas please share with me
Thanks in advance.b) What is the difference between sum and cell sum? Well, I certainly won't claim to be a Discoverer guru. From what little I have seen, the practical result is not any difference really between the two. SUM of a calculated row is adding up the calculation to the total. Whereas cell sum is like adding up the individual values behind the calculation you see. The distinction makes more sense when you have SUM DISTINCT and CELL SUM DISTINCT being involved. Then you will see a difference in the calculated total. But for SUM and CELL SUM itself, I have not seen any difference between the two, but I am still pretty new to Discoverer.
e) Aggregate field from a folder. Well, this may be one where you have to play around with your own data to understand. Let me try to give you a simple example. Let's say you have a sales table with 100 rows. You have sales data for 5 cities, and each city has 20 rows of sales history. If you pick Sales Dollars Detail and City Name for your workbook and run, you will get 100 rows in your result (complete detail listing). So that is what happens with no aggregation. Now, instead of doing Sales Dollars Detail, you pick Sales Dollars Sum (the same thing as saying SUM(Sales Dollars) in an SQL statement). Run the workbook. You will now get 5 rows of data, instead of 100 rows of data. You will get one row for each city. If you look at the SQL that Discoverer generates, you will see that it has now done a GROUP BY in the SQL statement. Notice I have not said anything about DISTINCT (just trying to keep things simple).
Now, lets say you do a workbook for City, Part Number, and Sales Dollars Sum. Run the workbook. You get a summarized result (say maybe 10 rows of summary data this time). If you look at the Discoverer SQL, the GROUP BY is now by city and part number, automatically doing that because you picked the SUM version of sales dollars.
Now lets say you add Sales Units Detail to the workbook. Discoverer will give you a warning message that you are have both an aggregate and a non-aggregate and that you may end up with unpredictable results. Run the workbook. You will be back to 100 rows, because you specified sales units in detail.
Most of the time I do not want to see detail rows in a workbook. So most of the time I am picking the SUM aggregate for an amount item.
Hope this explains things a bit. Sounds like maybe you need to take the Discoverer Create Queries and Reports class. Would help you understand these things better. Good luck.

ORA-19007 - Schema does not match
On my database, we have two schemas with matching tables in each - one for active data and one for data that is being held for longer-term research. Both contain an XMLType column registered to the same schema. However, when I try to insert directly from the active into the archive, I get the following:
SQL> insert into eci_archv_schema.rev_item_earn_dtl_archv
2 select * from eci_schema.rev_item_earn_dtl
3 where ROWNUM = 1;
insert into eci_archv_schema.rev_item_earn_dtl_archv
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-19007: Schema http://xmlns.foo.com/1.3.1/ABC.xsd does not match expected http://xmlns.foo.com/1.3.1/ABC.xsd.
The only way in which I can successfully move the data from one to the other is to wrap the select in one of the following:
1. XMLType.createXML(my_xml_column.getCLOBVal())
2. XMLType.createNonSchemaBasedXML(my_xml_column)
Both of these take an exceptionally long amount of time to complete and cause my archiving process to be very, very slow. It would appear that because the schemas were registered under different database schemas, they are somehow seen as incompatible. Is this the case or do they actually not match in some other way? Is there an easy way to compare them?
FYI: We are running 11.2.0.3 but this also occurs on 11.2.0.2. Any help would be appreciated.It would appear that because the schemas were registered under different database schemas, they are somehow seen as incompatible. Possibly.
Is this the case or do they actually not match in some other way? Is there an easy way to compare them?Are both XML schemas identical?
If so, why not register only one globally and give access to both DB schemas?
Does XML instances have xsi:schemaLocation or xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation attributes?
Are they the same?
A test case would be welcome actually.

Server Essentials R2 does not recognize two new Hard Drives
I have a fresh install of Windows Server Essentials R2. The installation went fine and the Operating System is on a 250 GB SATA Drive. Up to this point everything went well. However, I have added two new 3 TB SATA Internal
Hard Drives that I cannot get the Server Operating System to recognize at all. I want to use these two new HDs as my primary storage for the Client Computers. The BIOS does see the two Drives but the Operating System does not see them, meaning that
no message came up when I installed them from the OS, they don't show up in "Computer" or the "Storage/Computer Management" plug-in of "Administrative Tools". What is happening here? I've tried everything that
I can think of, but with no luck. Please assist with this issue. Thank you.GPT if i'm not wrong will support large partitions.
I have enabled GPT on my server, and I formatted the drives using NTFS.
check out link below, it's not Microsoft site but it will give you an idea.
text below is from this link: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/233291-32-what-difference
Here's what the site says:
MBR
is the standard partitioning scheme that's been used on hard disks since the PC first came out. It supports 4 primary partitions per hard drive, and
a maximum partition size of 2TB.
GPT disks are new, and are readable only by Windows Server 2003 SP1, Windows Vista (all versions), and Windows XP x64 Edition.
The GPT disk itself can support a volume up to 2^64 blocks in length. (For 512-byte blocks, this is 9.44 ZB - zettabytes. 1 ZB is 1 billion terabytes). It can also support theoretically unlimited partitions.
Windows restricts these limits further to 256 TB for a single partition (NTFS limit), and 128 partitions.
Only Itanium systems running Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista systems with an EFI BIOS can boot from a GPT disk. The other operating systems mentioned
earlier can use GPT disks as data disks but not boot disks.
For more information on GPT, see Problems
with larger than 2TB arrays in the General Storage forum, and see Windows
and GPT FAQ for additional information.
Every second counts..make use of it. Disclaimer: This posting is provided AS IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.

Discoverer plus report does not sum up the column
Hi All,
I am running the discoverer report from discoverer plus (web version) and was
trying to use the sum function to sum the total amount of the report.
The sum function does not work and it only display Cell
Sum: (blank) with no actual data.
When i checked the report details some columns are calculated based on the columns which i want to sum up.
My query uses CASE function to calculate one of the columns.
I changed the aggregation behavior setting to "Show the sum of the calculated values from the contributing cells "
then also i'm not able see the totals.
Any ideas please share with me.
Thanks in advance,Hard to answer your question without seeing what you are trying to do. Issues like this are often better reported to Oracle support, where they can get a web sesison going and be able to see what you see on your computer. Would be helpful to illustrate exactly what your detail looks like and how you are trying to create your sum. There could be several possible issues that could cause your problem, so all I can do is speculate some. Are you trying to sum one column, or are you creating multiple totals (for multiple columns)? Do you have any rows in the column with a NULL value? NULL values will be a problem when trying to sum up a column. You would need to convert the NUll value to something else, probably a zero. That would be the first thing I would look at. Hope that helps a little bit.

Why can't I have a raincheck when the ad does not say limited quantities?
On the buy one get one DS games it does not say while supplies last or quantities limited.
Hello DianaHahn,
It's always good to request a raincheck when possible to take advantage of good deals. I'm sorry to hear you were not able to obtain one for the DS games you want to purchase. Were you trying to purchase them in store or on BestBuy.com?
Thank you,

Capture-schema does not work properly
The command line tool "capture-schema" produces invalid schema files (with Oracle), as obscure exceptions are thrown at runtime. The wizard integrated in Forte does a better job. Can any changes be made to the setup, so that capture-schema uses the classes underlying Forte?
Platform: Sun ONE AppServer 7 beta 2, Win 2000, Oracle 9.0.1.I have what seems to be exactly the same problem, using an Informix database with their JDBC driver. When I examinded the schema file produced, I found that column references in at least one table was pointing into columns defined in other, completely unrelated tables. By changing the order of the tables listed with the -table option, the problem moved to another table.
I am currently evaluating Sun ONE as an alternative to Borland Enterprise Server, and can't get any further without some fix. Our database consist of about 800 tables. I only capture the schema for the entity beans that are used in one EAR module, which is usually around 20, but the format of the schema file does not make it easy to examine it and fix it by hand.
BTW, capturing from Forte is not an option. We have a very complex build system based on Ant, which requires the capturing to be done by some command line utility.
Please help! Where can I get a working capture-schema?! -
Officejet 7310xi does not print two-sided automatically after installing Windows 8.1
When I first purchased my Officejet 7310xi and installed it on my Windows XP desktop PC it worked fine printing two-sided documents automatically. I recently purchased a new desktop PC with Windows 8 and upgraded it to Windows 8.1 and downloaded and installed the Officejet software drivers from the HP download site. But now the printer will not print two-sided documents AUTOMATICALLY -- when this option is selected, I get a pop-up screen telling me to remove the documents from the out tray, turn them around, and reinsert them in the feed bin, i.e., it acts as if I requested two-sided MANUAL printing.
This question was solved.
View Solution.Hi,
Make sure the Automatic Duplexing option is enabled:
Enter Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
Right click the printer icon, then click Printer Properties.
Click the Device Settings tab.
Set the Automatic Two-Sided Duplex Accessory as installed and click OK to save the change.
Now Automatic Duplexing should become available.

Shlomi

Using Express when the database schema does not match theclass model
We are working on a large pay/personnel management system and are
evaluating Forté Express and Sage Scaffolds. We need to answer some big
questions in the near future, and I was hoping that there may be someone
out there with the answers.
1. How different can the database schema and the class model be, before
Express becomes a bad choice of framework? What solutions exist for cases
where Express is still a viable option?
2. Assuming that we can get around the problem in question 1, will the
Application Model features still work afterwards? (i.e. how sensitive are
the client-side services to changes in the database services?)
3. Express seems to use domain classes everywhere, whereas we are always
being advised to use scalar attributes wherever possible. How badly does
this affect the performance of Express applications?
4. Has anybody out there used Sage Scaffolds on a large project recently?
How did it go? What problems should we watch out for? Doesn't its 'Chain
of Responsibility' pattern tend to produce a lot of unnecessary objects at
run-time?
5. Has anybody used the Born collection classes? How do they compare with
Brahma's Fortify?
Thanks to those who have already helped - all input gratefully received!

/ I guess my understanding was that I could grant another oracle user access to my registered schema just like I can grant a single user access to a table. Evidently I only have two options. Only the schema owner can use the schema or everyone can use the schema and I cannot grant access to a single user other than myself.
