Pricing - Unable to retrieve list price when pricing order/booking

Due to overall slowness related to unneeded pricing calls, I am attempting to delay pricing until manually requested or the user books the order.
Here's what I am attempting:
Step 1 - End-dated Fetch List Price and Batch Processing events on the List Line Base Price phase.
Step 2 - End-dated Enter Order Line, Save Order Event on List Line Adjustment and All Lines Adjustment phases
Step 3 - Added Reprice Line and Book Order events to List Line Base Price phase.
Steps 1 and 2 effectively stopped pricing from occurring. No list price is obtained and no pricing calls are taking place. However, I assumed step 3 would cause the list price to be retrieved when manually pricing or booking the order, ie the event occurring would cause the phase to take place.
Any ideas as to why the List Line Base Price phase is not firing or how I can get around this problem?

Check for the Access Sequence of your Pricing in the Order,
In the Accesses Tab in Your Order you can see how the Pricing is Determined and the Accesses that are used to Determine the Pricing Condition.
Check for your Pricing Procedure and the Condition Accesses that you have used for the Pricing Conditions to be Determined.Check the Access Sequence of your Condition Access which determines the Pricing from Price List Ensure it Contains the Table Name "SAP155" This is the Table for the Price List Determination.
I doubt that your Condition Type is not able to Find the Price Record for the Price List for the Article and so it is not Appearing in the Order::Check for the Condition Records have been Downloaded in the CRM Table for Price List "CNCCRMPRSAP155" and then try to sort why the Priceses arenot Appearing in the Order.
Also for Manual Entry for a Condition Record you need to Select the Option "Manual Entry Has Priority"
in the Tab Changes for the Condition Record in Condition Types.

Cannot edit header price when sales order copied from sales order

I have a requirement to copy a sales order with Freight manually added in Header Pricing to another sales order. The Header Price for Freight is grayed out on the target document and the requirement is to have that price field open to edit. I've tried several copy control settings to no avail. Will a copy control routine need to be written in order to open the freight price field for edit in the target document?

Hi Nancy,
Validate the Pricing Type in the copy control at item category level, by default Pricing type is equal to A (Copy price components and redetermine scale), which can be adjusted to adjust your requirement in copying from another sales order.
Make sure your setting in the condition type under "Changes which can be made" are supporting the necessary changes a user needs to make.

How to get the previous price of the list price in a order

Hi All,
I need to get the previous price of the condition type in an order to calculate the %change of price.
for ex: the conditon ZXXX has price 600 and its changed to 400 now .( by changing the quantity etc ).
when the price value is changing to 400 , I need to capture the value of 600 in another condition type.
how can i acheive this ? Any idea?
Please provide some pointers on it.

check VBAP-NETPR field of table VBAP
It gives the net price corresponding to a line item.
Goto Tcode VA03.See the item overview tab U will get Net Price field for indivisual line item.

You could also simply go to the iBook Store, find it, and download it. You shouldn't be billed twice when you do this. You could also setup automatic downloads at the time you purchase the book. The worse that could happen is that you get two copies of the book, and simply delete one.

in Tcode :Give A* or V* or anything...and find the relevant transctions and data.

Costing using % of Pricing (List Price)

Hello Experts,
Our marketing department would like to value the COGS of a new product based on a % of pricing.
Since this new product is only purchased for re-sale the option that we have is to set a fixed price in the Unit Cost estimate functionality to value the COGS.
But since the unit cost estimate functionality only allows an absolute value for each of the different components, its no different to setting up a standard price for the year.
Is there an alternative option in SAP whereby the COGS posted into FI is based on the % of the gross sales value of the Sales Order? So that the COGS can vary by customer list price rather than the COGS for the new product being standard across all customers.
We are procuring goods through Inter-company.

Pricing Error: Mandatory condition List price is missing

Hi All,
When an Order is created in ISA with a material with mandatory pricing condition is zero an error is raised. This is the right functionality. Due to this the order is not replicated into ECC.
Is there any suggestion as to how this error message can be either suppressed or changed to an warning message ( in ISA only) so this order gets replicated into ECC. The reason or requirement for the order to be replicated into ECC is so all order with errors are managed in ECC.

Thank you for getting back.
I already had tried the first option you mentioned and the error message did not change to a warning. So the orders were not being replicated to ECC. In the message it clearly mentioned that SAP Error message can not be downgraded.
If you look at IMG Documentation for "Define Attributes for System Messages"
"You can make the message category proposed by the standard system more specific. If, for example, a specific message is proposed as a warning message (message category 'W'), then you can define that this message be output as an error message (message category 'E'). By doing so, the document or the document item receives the status 'Incorrect' when this message appears.
However, you cannot decrease the message category set for a message in the standard system (for example, message category error in message category information)."
The error message I received was as below and for this I changed the message level
Application - PRC_MESSAGES
Message No - 801
I also tried
ApplicationArea CRM_PRIDOC_COM
Message - 413
as mentioned by you.
Both of them did not work.
how can I check why this did not work. Any suggestions.

Unable to retrieve the list of Standard Reports

Hi,
User needs an aging report in PW90 paper but gets an error message when clicking on to the report tab once logged into SAP portal.
Error message:
Unable to retrieve the list of Standard Reports. Please call the Help Desk to report the problem. Error encountered while connecting to R/3. java.lang.NullPointerException.
I checked the java support in Internet explorer and deleted the cookies and temporary files but he kept having the same issue.

Hi , I am working with vc 7.1.1 my nwdi server is the same server and my sld server is 7.1
I have configured vc to work with nwdi , but when I try to add a local dc to source control I get an error

I have configued the name server on my sld server , but it does not help.

Hi Oren,
This kind of error usually points that there is a communication problem with the NWDI server.
That could be for one of the following reasons:
   1. Authentication problem (you do not have sufficient permissions)
   2. Name server is configured properly or not configured at all.
You may also refer to the defaultTrace file and search for the exact exception, which will help you better understand the source of the problem.
