Primary Contact check after account creation

Hi,
I want to check that the primary contact exists after account creation. I have created a workflow that check if the primary contact is null
IfNull([<PrimaryContactFullName>],True)
and wait 2 minutes before sending an email. The problem is that the email is always sended, without caring if the previous condition is true or false, even if I have used the re-evaluation flag.
Does anybody the reason of this behaviour?

Problem solved.
The condition was wrong and anyway it seems that Primary Contact is never NULL.

  • Indexing for Business Partner Duplicate check((Manual Account Creation)

    Hi,
    We are working on a BP de-duplication functionality in SAP CORM. We have implemented all the necessary steps for de-duplication. But, we are facing one issue while trying to initially index the data using program - 'SIC_BAS_RADII' using the following input parameters:
    Field Name Entry
    Object Type BUT
    Object Subtype PARTNER
    Index Pool Table BUT
    Index Pool Field PARTNER
    Service Name NORMALIZE_INDEX
    Service Profile Profile defined in the configuration of the services
    Once we execute this program, it keeps on running for hours. Even after that we are not getting any successful completion message or any report related to its success execution.
    We also have option to index BAS_BUPA using t-code SES_ADMIN. Can this be considered as an alternative to program 'SIC_BAS_RSADRINI' ?
    Please let us know where are we going wrong in our execution steps/input parameters.  Anyone who has previously worked on this functionality, please help?

    Hi Amit,
    To run the duplicate check you first need to activate the implementations SIC_ADDRESS_SEARCH of the BAdI ADDRESS_SEARCH and SIC_ADDRESS_UPD_TREX of the BAdI ADDRESS_UPDATE.
    You can search for duplicates by creating/changing a business partner only if the previous created busines partners were indexed (in TREX) aftre their saving.
    1. Activate both implementations.
    2. For indexing in TREX you need a RFC-destination to TREX. This RFC destination should be maintained in TA SES_ADMIN as following:
    Transaction SES_ADMIN   > Goto Customizing  > System Settings.
    Here should you enter the RFC destination for TREX.
    3. After you maintained the RFC destination for TREX, start SES_ADMIN
       Index   > Create/Activate Indexes, select BAS_BUPA and press continue
    4. Before you begin to work with checking duplicates you should do an initial indexing of the already existent business partners from BUT000. Therefore you should start the Report SIC_BAS_RSADRINI with the proposed parameters.
    5. After that each saved BP will be indexed and will be available for checking duplicates by the creation of new BPs.
    Please check: Transaction SES_ADMIN-> TREX Admin-> Queue Administration -> Function Set Queue Parameters
    Select the Queue ID  .....BAS_BUPA___1
    and set the parameter Replicate After Synchronize   > On.
                          Schedule Time                  All-0:01
    Eventually, you can start again the report SIC_BAS_RSADRINI and after 1 minute the data will be indexed in TREX.

    I gave my iphone to my fiance. I`ve deleted my e-mails accounts and I added hers.
    Well, when she is adding a sender in the e-mail my contacts appears! What to do?
    I`ve imported her SIM`s contacts to iphone and my contats aren`t in her "contacts" book, so how are my e-mail contacts appearing in her iphone?

    I have the same problem!
    Surely there MUST be a solution

  • How to check AD account creation history?

    Hi experts,
    I'm now facing up to a problem. Our AD has a new account created several months ago with non-approved. 
    Since it happened several months ago, we cannot track it in security log, because it was updated.
    Is there any other way to find who create this account?

    Look for Owner of the object in Security tab of user Properties in Active Directory Users and Computers. Note that It will not work if it had been created by Domain Admin members and Administrators. Another option is to use a third party
    auditing tool.

    According to the policy, third party tool cannot be installed in this server.

  • Primary contact vs. primary account

    My scenario is that:
    Looking at the contact details when multiple accounts, one account is flagged as primary
    Each of the accounts are linked to this same contact, yet when I look at each account
    within the account details, only one of the accounts has a contact flagged as primary
    So my question is are these two primary flags separate? Or are they the same flag in the data model?
    I thought that an account could have multiple contacts, with only one as primary (e.g. the first
    one attached to it), and independently/vice versa (a contact could be associated to multiple
    accounts, with one as primary).

    these flags should be independent. One contact can be primary contact on multiple accounts, but only one account is her primary account and vice versa.

  • How to define a campaign contact segment for primary contacts only?

    I have tested the functionality of segmentation wizard, but I cannot identify, how primary contacts of an account can be selected? I was wondering, is is only possible to create segments for ALL contacts of an account. Isnt it usually the primary account you contact in your campaign only?

    Under Contact field Setup, there is a field called "Primary" of type checkbox. If this is checked it indicates that this person is the primary contact for the account.
    However this field is not available under the segmentation wizard (possibly because it is type Boolean or some other reason I do not know of).
    One possible solution may be that you create a Custom field called "Primary Status" or somethign similar and then write a workflow with the condtion that if Primary Checkbox = Y then it populates the custom field with some default value and if N then no values.
    Then if that field is available under the segmentation wizard then use that as your filter for you primary contacts.

    I'd like to know how in java or ABAP I could automatically add a BP in a target group when the account is created. The BP should after that use a campaign code associated with the target group, immediately after account creation.

    Hi Julien,
    You will have to either create a custom program which gets triggered whenever there is any new BP created and then that program should execute the refresh of the target group.
    Or you setup the frequency of the Target group refresh in background to to say hourly.
    I am sorry i don;t see any other solution approach to this.

    I'm new to R12 and have a requirement to build a report sending a letter to the primary contact of a bank account.
    I narrowed it down to this:

    This is all well and good. The problem came when I added another contact to the account so both queries we're returning 2 results. I also found that both of them had the primary flag checked (from the web view) which I find odd. Worse in none of the tables above am I able to find a primary flag column. How do I find this column and is it possible to restrict the primary flag to only one contact as it seems to be appearing for two contacts.

    In our project, we are using the Opportunity Object after the creation of a task. Our tasks are always related to an existing account.
    I was wondering why when I create an opportunity from a task, the field "Account Name" is not populated by default with the account name related to the task.

    Whose iTunes account is currently logged into on that computer's iTunes ? If your husband's then log out of it via the Store > Sign Out menu option and then sign in with your account (it will change to a Store > Sign In menu option) and you should then be able to view the purchase history of your account

    Hi, I am trying to create a trial account for Siebel CRM. I am able to successfully submit the form, after that a message is being displayed saying " Please check your inbox for the activation link or something". The problem is that I am not receiving any mails for the account creation. I tried for a couple of times but the result is the same!!!

  • Sale order 'value changes' after invoice creation

    Experts,
    A sale order was created / shipped / invoiced. The invoice did not go to accounting because of credit auth error. We have a procedure to fix it and then release it to accounting (transaction VFX3). All OK until this point.
    While fixing the auth error, an user changed the freight condition value in the sale order. Then invoice is released to accounting. Now, the value of freight in order and invoice match. How is it possible to change the value of an invoice after its creation?

    Certainly not.  The control is in VTFL where if you select the billing item category for the combination of your delivery type and billing type, you can see a field "Pricing Type".  If you maintain any value other than "B", system will copy the price from sale order to billing and you can, as I said above, can change manually in billing.  On the other hand, if you have maintained "B" in the above field, system will not  consider sale order price but will check your pricing condition maintained in VK11 which you can check in VK12 or VK13.

    I have setup icloud in my Iphone 6 running 8.1.2. and it is logged in by enabling Contacts in icloud settings. My contact list contains 1718 Contacts. I manually backed up my data into icloud including my contacts without Passbook & Documents data. But when i logged into iCloud.com to see the contacts it is not there.
    I also find when i checked only the Icloud contacts "there are no contacts showing in my contact list". I think this is the reason why there is no contacts in icloud web too. Then how can i move contacts from other accounts (eg: gmail,hotmail etc) to icloud.

    I assume you're using GMail as your primary e-mail account?  Try this.  This is how I am setup.  Not only will it move all your contacts to your phone but any changes made in GMail or on the iPhone will be sync'd with the server.

    Note... I think this will delete your existing contacts from your device.  You will want to use iTunes to back them up and get them imported into GMail before you sync your device wtih GMail.

  • Automatic Partner Determination Std Contact Person during Activity Creation

    There is a requirement in my project where the Standard Contact Person of the Sold to Party  should be automatically determined during Activity Creation .I have completed the Partner Function configurations and now the Standard Contact Person is  being successfully determined as the Partner.
    However, there is a problem in a scenario where in another Contact Person other than the Standard Contact Person is to be determined during Activity Creation . In that case, the option to select the other Person is not being offered through a pop up window, but the System automatically populates the next Contact Person based on the BP Id ( Next on the Number Range )
    Is there any way , so that the normal procedure of selecting one Contact Person from a list in the Pop Window can be incorporated , once the standard Contact Person is being removed from the Contact Person field in the Business Transaction .

    Hello Maroof,
    you should check first the standard relationship flag of the account. Means check the account and go to the
    relationship contact person.
    There you will find the standard Relationship Flag, which is relevant for the system to determine the main CP.
    Furthermore please check the partner procedure:
    For each partner function you can enter a value in field Maximum and Selection Limit. Please consider the F1 help
    for the field Selection Limit where you can find the explanation when and how the selection popup is triggered:
    Example 1
    You enter 3 in this field.
    When the system finds three or more partners who could fulfill this partner function, it displays a selection list.
    You choose from the list which partners to enter in the transaction.
    Example 2
    You do not mark this field, but enter 5 as the Maximum for this partner function.
    When the system finds six or more appropriate partners it displays a selection list.
