Print outs are blurry when printing from a web page.

I have sorta a strange problem with my printer that I'm hoping someone might be able to help me with. I have an HP 895 series printer that I got from an website not long ago. I bought (remanufactured) ink cartridges for it because it looked like the ink was running out, but after I put them in the prints started to look really blurry to where it would kind of hurt my eyes to look at it. I tried cleaning around the cartridges and printer as best I could and aligned the print cartridges. The problem is that the alignment page prints ok, I even printed a word document which looked fine, but when I try to print any type of web page from firefox, it still comes out blurry. It seems as if it is still not aligned. I'm not sure if there is anything else I can try or anything I can do to correct this. I'm just wondering if anyone has some suggestions.

If it is blurry after you installed the remanufactured cartridges, then it is the cartridges. If there is a printhead cleaning utility in the print driver, then run that, it may help. The only other possibility I can think of, is if you also changed to a different type of paper, but that is less likely.

  • HP C4680 all in one printer out of alignement when printing avery business cards.

I recently purchased an HP C4680 all in one printer and have found
that it will not print Avery clean edge C32028-25 business cards. It
prints ok on plain paper and when you compare against the business card
sheet everything is in the correct position. However when you print the
actual cards the printed area creeps up the page and some of the print
is off the cards ruining the sheet. I am using avery design pro
software version 5. The print preview shows the printing area correctly.
Please advise of a fix for this issue.

I have the same problem with my HP Officejet Pro 8000 using Avery business cards.  I don't think HP knows how to fix the problem.  I was told by HP to select card stock as my paper type, but that is not on my menu.  I may have to adjust my PageMaker template to counter the creep.  You would think that this would be an adustment that could be made in the software. It amounts to 1/8" over the whole page.  I don't plan on much help from HP since I have not received any help in the past.

    Hi there blbarbina,
Could you provide the community with a little more information to help narrow troubleshooting? Does this happen in only one application, if so what application? Is this a booklet style document?

  • I'm trying to print out a credit card statement from my iPad, it only prints the first page not 4pages, please help

I'm trying to print out a credit card statement from my iPad, it only prints the first page not the 4 pages, please help

I read your first post when I was posing a separate question on the Mac Pro board.  I now see that we may be talking about printing from an iPad with Airprint instead!!!!!  I very much suspect the print command and settings are different for Airprint but I have never used it to be able to offer concrete advice.  I think the setting choices could be different even with Airprint on the laptop and further that you may not even be using Safari but some special app???
I've not heard or seen the term "frame" in the context of printing before except perhaps in the context of a screen shot.  Is the credit card statement a "pop-up" of some kind rather than a webpage or pdf?

  • HP Photosmart 7200 Colors are Wrong When Printing on Photo Paper

I'm running Windows 7 and am having a problem when printing on photo paper.  The colors are off; mainly green.  The colors are fine when printing on plain paper.  I have tried printing from my computer as well as straight from the media card.  Same result.  I am also using HP Photo Premium glossy paper.  Print cartridges are brand new and are loaded correctly.
Any solutions or troubleshooting tips I can try?

    Hi @Vay725,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that the colors are wrong when printing on photo paper! I am happy to help you with this print quality issue!
For further assistance, I will need to know some more information:
The Product/Model Number of your printer. Follow instructions in this link. Finding Your HP Product Model Number.
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
If you are using Genuine HP Ink cartridges.

  • Is there a way to print out my itunes purchases, credits (from giftcards) and what is being charged to my credit ca

Is there a way to print out my itunes purchases, credit (from gift cards) and what amounts are being charged to my actual credit card?  I have two children sharing this account (each with their own gift cards) and I'm trying to keep it fair on who spends what....etc.  PLEASE help.  I'm losing my mind!

The ability to connect to the printer or the G5 over the Internet will depend on your company's network. In the good ol' days of modems, you could use a dial-up connection to access your network remotely. Now with cable connections the same can be done, but there are a number of openings that need to be made by your IT dept to allow you access and to restrict others. So you should discuss your desire to remotely connect with them. They could share the printer so that once you are connected to your network, you could use IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) to connect to the printer share and still use the HP driver.

  • Silent print a PDF from a web page using Flex. We are targeting Windows and Mac with Arcobat reader installed

We are planning to Silent print a PDF from a web page using Flex. We are targeting Windows and Mac with Arcobat reader installed. I have tried using the AIR appliaction and it worked, But our requirement is NO INSTALL to the user machine for the silent printing. It is just from web page and silent printing to the default printer to the desktop/Laptop. Can anyone share your thoughts and experience with us. It will be very helpful..
For AIR : I tried the thread Re: AIR and PDF showing/silent printing

    Hey CodeMonkey & Ross,
Did you either of you ever find a solution? I'm stuck too, it seems I can get remote printing on all these PDFs to work but it just prints a blank page since I've been using Javascript in the browser, not Adobe's (they are Engineering drawings that I do not have permission to edit so I can't just insert code into them but I need to make work instructions). I've been scouring the internet for hours now, it seems that this thread is the only relevant/useful one at this point. No one else was trying to achieve this for similar reasons to mine.
    Thanks guys,

  • Suddenly, system produces a "microsoft image writer," freezes, then crashes when I try to print from a web page. This is new, just past week or so.

For the past week or two, when I desire to print from a web page or email and hit the "print" command, instead of my printer name the printer window displays 'microsoft document image writer." Then it asks me to save (in which case it appears in my documents) or print to file. Then, if it works, it produces a window with an image of the page. And once or twice, I can then print. But usually, it produces a blank screen, an endless hourglass, a "not responding" message, and then the blue screen of death.

    Hello,
I am using 10.4.11 operating system. I upgraded from Photo shop 7.0 to CS and all my images print out green. The printer is a Epson Stylus C88+. The images on my monitor look the same as 7.0. I do a nozzle check every day.
Does any body know why this happened?
    Please help!
    Many thanks,

You should always save your photos on computer like any other digital camera.

  • Printer Settings dialog missing when printing to another Mac with Bonjour

I want Photoshop to manage my color settings rather than my Epson 4800 or Epson SPRX 580 printers, so in the print dialog box I select the "Printer Color Management" tab and set color adjustments to the OFF position. This works fine as long as the printer is connected directly to my MacBook or my MacBook Pro. But if I try to send a job on my MacBook Pro via bonjour to either of the printers when it is connected to my MacBook, the print dialog is missing the choices of "Printer Color Management", "Printer Settings", etc.
All that is available are things like "Layout, Cover Page, Scheduler, Summary." The "Printer Settings, Color Management" options only show up on either computer when connected directly to the printer.
Is there a way to get those other choices (Printer Settings, Color Management) when printing over a bonjour network?
I'm on Mac OS 10.5.6 on the MacBook Pro and Mac OS 10.4.10 on the MacBook. I have downloaded all the driver updates from Epson and deleted and added the printers again with the same result.

HP must have release a driver update because we no longer encounter the problem.

  • How can we force everything printed out of Oracle to print greyscale

How can we force everything printed out of Oracle to print greyscale and not color?
I looked in CUPS and there is no way to distinguish what color scale to output, it has to come from the source (Oracle) with that parameter.
I have confirmed that printers are already set to force to greyscale, but this is overridden by the date coming from CUPS rather than a Windows machine. Please investigate options to force all print jobs from Oracle, whether as outputs from concurrent programs or the ctrl-p print window contents function, to greyscale.
    EBS release 11.5.10.2
    Thanks in advance.

It's actually setup at the printer level.
Check the printer color mode setup by accessing the printer web interface at http://<printer name found in Oracle>.
    Thanks,
