Print results the script in landscape mode

Hi folks,
how I can
in powershell print off the results ofthe following code in landscape mode:
$result | Where {!$_.Values} | Foreach {Start-Process -FilePath "s:\INVOICES\0070\$($_.Invoices).pdf" –Verb Print}

Hi Nesher,
good luck with that. Assuming you are using Adobe Reader, this may be of interest to you:
Adobe Acrobat SDK
Apparently, this works with the reader too, though it says Acrobat. If that doesn't fit your need ... well, good luck?
Cheers,
Fred

  • How to print the script in condensed mode

    Hi to all,
    Pls help me.
    How to print the script in condensed mode and particular window only print in the condensed mode.

    Hi,
    Hi
    It will remove the blank spaces in front of the variable
    and if you use the extension NO-GAPS
    It will remove all the blank spaces in the variable field.
    DATA: ws_val1 type char12.
    ws_val1 = ' 100 123'.
    Condense ws_val1.
    Write / ws_val1.
    Condense ws_val1 no-gaps.
    write / ws_val1.
    It will give output as
    100 123
    100123
    The CONDENSE statement deletes redundant spaces from a string:
    CONDENSE c NO-GAPS.
    This statement removes any leading blanks in the field c and replaces other sequences of blanks by exactly one blank. The result is a left-justified sequence of words, each separated by one blank. If the addition NO-GAPS is specified, all blanks are removed.
    Please check this link for sample code.

  • Printing a Labview graph in LandScape mode ?

    Hello everyone. I have LabView printing an XY graph but it always
    wants to print in Portrait mode. I set the defaults of the printer to
    LandScape mode and still go a Portrait printout. Is there anyway
    to force LabView to print in LandScape mode? This will help the graph
    be more readable.
    Thanks for any help you can give.

    Hi, well after some playing around and touching things that I though
    shouldn't make a difference I got it to print in Landscape mode. On
    the VI's front panel menu File-Print I switched that to LandScape mode
    and what do you know it printed the graph out in LandScape mode.
    Now I want to manipulate the fonts on the graph. I have messed with
    the cursors and I can put x axis lines
    on the chart with a time value
    but the text I'm putting up is small so I need a bigger font and I
    need to get the text out of the graph itself.
    Is there anyway to print the cursor titles vertical instead of
    horizontal to the x axis. Thought I would ask anyway.
    Thanks to anyone who already knew how to do this.

  • Rotate the display to landscape mode

    I was designing a simple application and i want to show a table. I did that successfully. But i would like to have a landscape view so that it looks better. Either the table in landscape view or the whole application in landscape mode
    i searched a lot and got j2mepolish to be a solution. But i tried to download the latest version several times but it stops in the middle.it would be a great help if you send me an mirror link.
    Please suggest any method to do the above.

    Hi,
    You can try Graphics.drawRegion() mehod with Sprite.TRANS_ROT90 which will draw everything on the canvas in landscape mode.
    - Create once bufferImage-> Draw everything one the bufferImage->draw that bufferImage on the canvas using Graphics.drawRegion() method.
    ex:
    Image bufferImage = Image.createImage(getWidth(),getHeight());
    Graphics temp_g sm_landscapeBuffer = bufferImage .getGraphics();
    // Now draw everything using temp_g and at the end draw that image using drawRegion() and main main graphics g.
    g.drawRegion(sm_bufferImage, 0, 0, sm_bufferImage.getWidth(), sm_bufferImage.getHeight(), Sprite.TRANS_ROT90, 0, 0, Graphics.LEFT | Graphics.TOP);

    Thanks,

    Why are you asking a CSS question in a Java/JSP/JSTL forum? I would rather use a CSS forum for that. That HTML code is unnecessary too. Just post relevant code only, such as that CSS snippet.
    Anyway, it may differ per web browser if this page rule will be picked up and it may also be a client side setting regarding printer settings. Nothing to do here.

  • Printing on the A5 in duplex mode on the printer HP1606dn

    Good day! When you print on A5 format in duplex mode on the printer only prints HP1606dn second page - the printer does not return the page to be printed on the other side. When printing on A4 prints on both sides of the paper. Format settings before printing exhibited true. The problem is the driver? Installed Software 2012-10-17, Version 9.0
    Need help! FNX

    Don't know the answer, just a comment:
    The User Guide manual states:
    The printer driver only supports certain media sizes for automatic duplexing.
    Use the manual duplexing procedure for media sizes not available in the printer driver
    although it doesn't appear to say which sizes are affected!

    HI,
      i am working on Goods issue script. In my script there 2 pages. For printing the header for items i have taken a new window from the second page onwards.The item header is printing in all the pages from the second pages onwards. But if there is no item data in the lsat page then also its printing the header. How to supress the header if there is no data.
    kishore

    Hi!
    This can be solved in your printer program.
    LOOP AT gt_main INTO wa_main.
      CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
        EXPORTING
          window = 'MAIN'
          element = 'ITEM_HEADER'
          type = 'TOP'   "print the header of the items here
      CALL FUNCTION 'WRITE_FORM'
        EXPORTING
          window = 'MAIN'
          element = 'ITEM_DATA'
          type = 'BODY'   "print the item data
    ENDLOOP.

  • Printing a contact sheet in LANDSCAPE mode

    In ye olden days of iPhoto when you used the print command it would format your photos into a contact sheet in a "landscape" layout (you don't need a degree in physics to realize it makes a more efficient use of a sheet of paper!). Now, when you use the same print command it formats them into a "portrait" layout (lots of wasted space). And there is nowhere to set the layout to either landscape or portrait (like there was in earlier incarnations of iPhoto).
    Since MOST photos are taken in a landscape fashion, this makes no sense that you cannot choose this layout type. Normally, I'd chalk it up to Apple's toy-like amateur software, but the fact that this obvious function was available in earlier versions makes this excuse moot.
    So, how do you format your contact sheets in a landscape layout?

    Someone else just recently asked the same question. Since then I found a way to do it.
    1 - in another application bring up the Page Setup window and create a custom size that's 11 inches wide and 8.5 inches in height.
    *Just determined that Step 1 is not needed.*
    2 -in iPhoto select the photos you want to print and hit the Print button
    2 - in the first Print window click on the Customize button.
    3 - in the next window click on Print Settings button.
    4 - in the next window select Custom as the paper size and set the width to 11 and height to 8.5 and click OK.
    5 - click Customize again.
    6 - in the next window set the number of columns and other settings.
    7 - Click on Print and go from there.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

    .Net 4.0\VS2010\C#\ssrs 2008 on Sql Server 2008R2
    Having a problem printing a Server report while controlling the orientation and the size of the emf rendered to the physical page.
    I have the report cutting off in both landscape and portrait modes. I'm passing the following deviceinfo to the render function:
    string DeviceInfo =
    @"<DeviceInfo>
    <OutputFormat>EMF</OutputFormat>
    <PageWidth>8.5in</PageWidth>
    <PageHeight>11in</PageHeight>
    <MarginTop>0.25in</MarginTop>
    <MarginLeft>0.25in</MarginLeft>
    <MarginRight>0.25in</MarginRight>
    <MarginBottom>0.25in</MarginBottom>
    </DeviceInfo>";
    return DeviceInfo;
    string mimeType;            string fileExtension;            Stream pageStream = serverReport.Render("IMAGE",  deviceInfo, firstPageParameters, out mimeType, out fileExtension);
    No other settings seem to have an affect on controlling the output to printer or pdf.  i.e. The deviceinfo params fed to server report's render function are all you get.  I think my original code comes from an MSDN or CodeProject example. I'm not
    inventing anything new here.
    Links below indicate similar problems but they are looking at the issue from just landscape mode. Seems like I ought to be able to squash or expand the image to whatever size I specify, separate from the 'page' size.  Please let me know what i need
    to know to make these reports print without bleeding onto 2 pages or slicing off the right side of the document image.

    print ssrs rdlc report in landscape mode directly
    Thanks!

     Hi
    FraterJoanni,
    Thanks for posting in MSDN forum.
    I am not expert in SSRS. You should get better response in SQL Server > SQL
    Server Reporting Services, Power View forum.
    After take a look at the similar threads links as you posted above.
    The conclusion is we needn’t tell the program o this report is landscape not portrait. If the width is larger than the height, the report will be printed in landscape; otherwise, it will be printed in portrait.
    >>Links below indicate similar problems but they are looking at the issue from just landscape mode.
    But in C# forum, we only from the point of code, code looks OK to me.
    A similar blog talking about this
    Controlling Page Size in a Reporting Services Report
    And  I have got the default page size in the US is Letter, 8.5in x 11in.  In other parts of the world A4 (8.3in x 11.7in) is the standard.
    65: //build the device settings (A4 8.3 × 11.7)
    66: string deviceInfo = string.Format("<DeviceInfo><PageHeight>{0}</PageHeight><PageWidth>{1}</PageWidth></DeviceInfo>", "11.7in", "8.3in");
    67:
    68: //get report bytes
    69: result = rs.Render(format, deviceInfo, out extension, out encoding, out mimeType, out warnings, out streamIDs);
    70:
    Best regards,
    Kristin

  • Print Book on 8.5x11 in photo paper for "proof" No Landscape mode :(

    Is there anyway to print pages of a book to 11x8.5 paper and
    (1) Have Aperture rotate the image to landscape mode?
    and
    (2) Have it scale the page to the page being printed onto?

    Well, I may have created my own work-around for this.
    I printed the book as a PDF and then printed the PDF. Doing so scaled the final printed output to the 8.5 x 11 photo paper that I had (even though the book itself will be larger). And it printed in landscape mode.
    So the "trick" is to print the book as a PDF rather than try to directly print it from Aperture to your printer.

  • Has Apple come up with a solution to remove the iPad sidebar in Mail while in landscape mode?

    Hi, Everyone.
    When I review open Mail, I need to review it in landscape mode, so I can use the ipad cover's keyboard to type my replies. I would like to be able to hide (or even shrink) the sidebar. Unlike the "relative" privacy of viewing your email at your desk, the ipad is meant to be a mobile device: I use it on the train, I take it to meetings, etc.  It's annoying to have people looking over my shoulder or sitting next to me in a conference table able to glance over and, in effect, see the names of the last 11 people or entities that have emailed me  - with the subjects. (I work in HR, handling a lot of staff and faculty compensation, discipline, ando other politically charged issues - so privacy is kind of a big deal)  Yes, I could flip it to portrait mode and hide the sidebar, but that forces me to tilt my cover's bluetooth keyboard 90 degrees to the side and I am not yet proficient in typing sideways.
    I've seen mutiple posts over the past year about this.  I'm using IOS 8.1.3.  Has Apple resolved this or offered a suitable accommodation?
    Thank you for any replies.

    TThe answer is simple. No Apple has not implemented a way to hide the preview pane of the mail app when you use the device in landscape mode. I use my iPad in landscape mode 95% of the time as well, so that I can use the larger keys on the virtual keyboard. You can hide the preview of what the emails say I Settings>Mail, contacts, calendars>Preview>None. If you do that, at least you will be hiding the beginning of the message so that nobody can read it. I realize that's not your solution, but it might help.
    I also suggest that you leave feedback for Apple.

  • Since the upgrade to 8.1.2, I can only use "messaging" in landscape mode and not portrait.  Anyone else having this problem?

    I unable to view or type messages vertical or portrait mode...it appears to be locked in horizontal or landscape mode. Any suggestions?

    What user troubleshooting have you tried? User steps are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. There is no lock for the iPhone in Landscape mode, so I believe a reset should help. Also, double-tap the home button and bring up the multi-tasking bar, find the Messages app and then swipe upwards on the app thumbnail to force it closed.

  • Printing my own certificate in landscape

    I have been searching for hours and can't find out how to print my own certificate in landscape mode the wdget is printing in portrait mode which in captivate is useless because 99.9% of captivate project have the width much greater than the height.
    The only way I found how to do this is by purchasing a $20 widget to print this way.
    Is there a different solution than me spending $20 to print the certificate?

    None that I know of.  If your time is worth more than $10 per hour, you'd be well advised to buy the widget by now.
