Printer determination for sapscript form output

Hello All,
We have configured different printers for the different plants in our sales organization.  When we create a delivery, there is a requirement to send the delivery form output (bill of lading, delivery note etc.) to the appropriate printer based on the plant for which the delivery is created.
Is it possible to do this and if yes, how should this be done?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rugmani

Hello,
I created a condition table '550 - Shipping point/plant'. Then I created an access sequence 'ZSH1' and assigned this condition table 550 to it.
In the output determination procedure, the procedure 'V10000 - Header output' has the condition type PL02 - BOL: Single Delivery assigned to it.
The assignments look like:
Step       Counter         Cond Type
10               1                LD00     Delivery Note
20               2                PL00     Packing list
30               3                PL01     Planning Slip
40               4                PL02     BOL: Single Delivery
In Assign output procedures, the entry corresponding to delivery type 'LF' is:
Del Type                O/P procedure                       O/P Type
LF Delivery                    V10000  Header Output             LD00Delivery Note
When I try to enter a new condition record using VV21, it does not show up this key combination 'Shipping point/Plant'.
Can someone tell me if I am missing some customization?
Thanks,
Rugmani

  • Output determination for P45 form...

I had a quick look at OSS 1230107 in regards to the new P45 A4 form. All seems to have been installed and is working, although all three pages print to the same printer tray at the moment.
I have made a copy of sapscript HR_GB_P45_A4_D (ZHR_GB_P45_A4_D) and have added the appropriate tray information for each of the three pages. However, I am familiar with output determination for SD/MM but have no idea where I can substitute SAP's form for my Z form?.

Subject: Re: Output determination for P45 form...
Message: We know have everything printing, however, neither of the new SAP supplied P45 forms align correctly, they are both around 5 or 6 mm out, especially when printing on the HMRC pre-printed stationary. The form which prints the boxes etc. onto plain paper (HR_GB_P45_A4) seems to miss the heading off, "P45 Part 1A",  for example, it's almost as though it has printed off the top of paper with the last 1mm of the heading showing. The form for pre-printed stationary is exaxtly the same with all fields about 5 or 6 mm out, vertically.
We have a Lexmark 630 and our basis team have checked that we have the right driver for it. We also have am HP laserjet as well, but that behaves exactly the same.
Has anyone encountered this problem before?.
At first I thought it may be because the printer itself is configured for Letter rather than A4, but I've checked the front panel menu of the printer and it's set to use A4.
I know that I can correct this problem bu changing every field for all three pages, but should I have to modifiy this. Does anyone know if SAP have released a fix for this?.
    Jas
    Hi Jas,
Yes we have faced this problem before, now I am not sure what has been done in the system to resolve it, but my Basis Consultant configured a separate Local printer in the system called ZP45 or something. It will work exactly like a local printer and print to the default printer assigned to the PC, but the alignment becomes spot on. Instead of choosing LOCAL, the user selects ZP45 when running the P45 program. We did not need to do anything to the sapscript form itself.
    Hope this helps.

Go to Nace transaction.Choose your application. For Example RFQ application EF and for Sales Application V1 , Billing V3. After selecting go to the output types and from there Processing routines.
U can also search using tables.for sd and mm related scripts u can find in table TNAPR and for finace related script programs and layouts u can find in table t001f.

  • Userspecific Printer determination for orders / invoices

    Hello SD-experts,
At the moment output types are found via condition records, based on sales org / sales unit. These condition records contain the printing parameters. The requirement now is that for some users the parameters should be userspecific.
My problem is: there is the printing rule in the output type (1,2,U,S..) and there are the printing parameters of the condition records. Which one has priority ? At the moment it seems that the printing rule of the output type has no influence if output is determined via condition access. That's right ??
Any usefull hint would be highly appreciated ..
    Regards Wolfgang

You can either do as suggested in previous post defining additional condition table and adding it to your access sequence prior to other steps so it searches for user-specifuc output first, if not ofund - then everything remains as before.
Or you can change printer in your print program before opening the form (check 'itcpo' structure passed to  OPEN_FORM)... of course it works only if you have your own print program for your output types.

  • How to find standard print programs for ADOBE forms

    Hi All,
My question is how to find the standard SAP print program for a SAP provided ADOBE form. For example - how to find what is the satndard SAP provided print program for the ADOBE form for payment advice 'F110_AVIS_INT'.
As by default in the transaction F110 (where the payment advice form configuration is done), a SAP Script form is attached and the print program assigned is an SAP Script (as it contains call to function module like open_form, write_form... ) program and not an ADOBE print program.

    Hi Renu,
I have gone through the link provided by you but it only shows a list of standard PDF forms.
My question was how to find the standard SAP provided print program (or driver program which contains the data fetch logic and passing of the data to the interface of the ADOBE form) for these SAP provided ADOBE form.
If SAP has provided standard ADOBE form then definitely they would also have provided the standard print program too ?
    @Srihari,
The path system --> Status --> program SAPLFPUIFB is the standard program for the SFP transaction and not for the payment advice form F110_AVIS_INT.
It will be same for all the ADOBE forms if we check in System --> Status --> Program.

  • Copying print program for sapscript

    Hello all,
I would like to customize the print program PSFCPICK which we are using to print a sap script for shop orders.
So I did a copy of the program and named the new one ZPSFCPICK and assigned the copied print program to the list in OPK8. I know the copied print program is called when printing the script,
but no output is coming out of the printer. When I change it back to the original program, it is working fine.
Is there anything I have to pay attention when copying a print program??
    Thanks
    Anne

    HI Anne,
Check in this custom program or copied program whether you are calling FM -  CLOSE_FORM
The function module closes the layout set opened using OPEN_FORM. The system executes any terminating processing steps for the last opened layout set. You must use this function module to close layout set printing. Otherwise, no output appears on printer or screen.

    Krishna

  • How to debug program RVADEK01 for SAPSCRIPT FORM  S_PICK_SINGLE

    Hello Experts,
Am using TCODE VL01N to print out the Form SD_PICK_SINGLE ,I tried to activate the debugger on the Form in SE71 after that executed the driver program RVADEK01 which didnt work so I tried to execute the tcode VL01N but nothing happens .Unfortunately both ways seems not to trigger the debugger to stop at the Form,.Can anyone help ?
    Thank you
    JA

    Hi,
Think you have not done the output type configuration correctly in NACE transaction. Check with the following scenarios.
    1. In NACE transaction, check whether the correct program and SAP script is assigned against the output type which you are selecting in VL01N transaction for the printout.
    2. Try using transaction VL02N or VL03N once the delivery is created. Make sure that the OUTPUT TYPE which is configured with the program and SAP script is triggered in the respective delivery.
