Printf line number and/or file name - preprocessor macros

Hello,
I'm wondering if any preprocessor macro's exist to "xil_printf" the current source filename and line number. In some tools this is available as __LINE__ and/or __FILE__

ok I tried, and found this to work fine
xil_printf("%s - line %d\n\r", __FILE__, __LINE__);
guess all these macro's are available (?)

If you are doing this because you're implementing your own debug logging, have a look at Log4J.
You can configure it to log classnames, method names and line numbers of the code you're executing.

how do u get th line number of a particular node i parse.
is it possible only when error comes the line number and mesage can be displayed.
is it possible when i use xpath expression for a particular node and if that xpath returns boolean false then can i get the line number where the node present..??

There are java classes that will give you the line number of records from files you are reading. Names begin with Line...

OracleSOA - File Adapter - Correct mechanism to get the line number from the file

We are using Oracle SOA process to read data from a file, process the data and write it to the database. SOA process is created using Oracle File Adapter to read the data, Oracle BPEL to transform & process the data and Oracle DB Adapter to write the data into the database.
Oracle File Adapter uses native schema to process the fixed length data in the file. The number of rows in the file may exceed more than 500,000, to support processing of large files we use chunk size in the file adapter as 4000 rows. In each read operation, file adapter reads the data that matches to the schema, there might be few rejected rows as well.
Oracle File Adapter property - jca.file.LineNumber gives me only the line number till what line the data is read. Is there any way to get the line number in the xml message, which exactly matches to the line number in the file.?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I am using DB adapter to insert the data into db.
While doing the xsl transformation I can get the index of the message using position(), but that is not the correct way as there can be rejected lines by the file adapter.
Even if I maintain a local counter variable, it will not consider rejected lines and increment that, which is not correct.

Sequence number/counter in File name using FTP

I have to add sequence number in the file name. How can i do that? everytime file generates it should pick up the latest file number.
Example File1 File2 File3. 1,2 and 3 are the sequnce number.

You can do this by dynamic file creation. Use this following code and cretate an UDF. The map the required file format to the target header structure as below;
UDF
sequence number:
IDENTIFIER is the parameter
Import com.bp.xi.util.*;
Code:

Dynamic file:
Key & Value is the parameter

While a normal Skype name can have as many as 10 Online Numbers they all forward to the same place as well as share the same voicemail greeting and voicemail inbox.
You can use the Skype Business Manager to purchase Online Numbers and assign different call forwarding and voicemail, however you can't transfer Online Numbers to the Skype Business Manager from nromal Skype names.

Link between schedule Line Number and Delivery

Is there a link between Schedule line Number and Delivery number ?
Eg. Line item 10 with quantity 100.
has 5 schedule lines..with 5 different delivery dates.
1 . quanity 40
2.   quantity 30
3.   quantity 20
4.   quanity 6
5    quantity 4
For schedule line 1, 2 deliveries were created,
one      with quantity 20
another with quantity 15
quantity 5 is still not delivered.
also schedule lines 2,3,4 and 5 are fully delivered.
Is there any table, FM etc in SAP which will give me the link between the schedule line and delivery number ?
Total deliveries created : 6. - But which delivery corresponds to which schedule line ?
Please dont tell me to look VGBEL and VGPOS.. that will just give line item number 10.. I need to get the schedule line number.
Also, RV_SCHEDULE_CHECK_DELIVERIES --> will give me the delivered quantity against each schedule line.
My purpose is to create an ontime delivery report .
a report which list each schedule lines, and tell, how many shipments were late/ontime/early etc..
and for Late ones, how many days late has to be found.
this is where i need the delivery.
No. Of days Late = Actual GI Date - Planned GI Date.
Actual GI date is in the delivery.

My original external has an error and needs to be reformatted but I dont want to lose this informations its my entire Itunes library.

Sounds like the source drive is formatted as case sensitive and the destination drive is not. The preferred format for OS X is case insensitive unless there is a compelling reason to go case sensitive.
Why can't you change the filename? Is it because the source drive is having problems? If so is this happening with only one or two or a few files? If so the best thing would be to copy those over individually and then rename them on the destination drive.
If it is more then you can do manually and you can't change the name on the source you will have to reformat the destination as case sensitive.
Btw this group is for discussion of the Support Communities itself, you;d do better posting to Lion group. I'll see if a host will move it.

I am testing one program. Selection screen has 3 parameters, File Id, Logical File Name and Physical file name. In Physical File name, i am giving complete file name with path. But it is giving error. Please tell me, what is File id and what all information i need to enter for logical file name and physical file name.

Dynamic bad and Log file names!!

I have the scenario like the data files would be passed as parameter to the mapping , and the mapping would have the premapping procedure which would change the file name in the external table definition. This works fine. But the one more issue I have is that, I would like to change the bad file,log file and discard file name also through this procedure. In other words, for each incoming data file I would like to create a bad ,log and disc file.So How do I accomplish in the present procedure which does the following alter table statement
execute immediate 'alter table '||p_table_name||' location('''
||p_file_name||''')';

Automate exports and imports (file names)

Hi all,
I will like to do a simple export and import into another schema in another database.
I am very comfortable with the process but all i require is how to set the dump file and log file names to be the date and name of the database being exported and imported.
For example when I do the export I want the dump file and logfile names to be exp_ORCL_230805.dmp and exp_ORCL_230805.log for database ORCL exported on 230805.
For the import I want the logfile name to be imp_TEST_230905.log.
I am doing this export and import on a windows xp client but the database reside on UNIX AIX boxes.

Set up ORACLE_SID before you start the imp/exp session on the client, then you can use file=exp_%ORACLE_SID%_%DATE%.dmp etc. (Note that if your windows locale has a date format w/ whitespace you might have to write a script to get rid of it..)

Using sqlldr to load XML files and the file name ? or access the file name

I can use sqlldr to load the XML files when I declare the target table of XMLTYPE, but I need to load the filename and a sequence also with the XML in a table so we can mark wether the file passed validation or not.
something like ....
