Printing inconsistencies

We are using Apex 4.1.1. Our agency has multiple apex environments - DEV, TEST and PRODUCTION. When I run my application in DEV and TEST my reports print perfectly. When I move it to PRODUCTION, printing is not perfect - doesn't fit all to page, font seems much larger.
We have to use IE for this, unfortunately. Any ideas why the change in printing results from one environment to the next? It is the same application being moved, so nothing is changing with that.
Any help would be appreciated. I am getting many angry calls over this printing problem. Thanks
Hope

Well of course it's hard to troubleshoot without digging in, but here's a thought. Your APEX application is also made of CSS and JS code that could be on a web server or on your DB referenced with #WORKSPACE_IMAGES# or #APP_IMAGES#. Those don't come over with the application export, you need to promote them separately.
Look into your Shared Components -> CSS and Shared Components -> Images to see what may be missing.
Good luck.

PS. All this is assuming that your just printing as a webpage. You don't mention the technology you're using for the reports. My answer applies to Classic or Interactive Reports.

  • Printer Inconsistencies

    I am running Windows 7 64 and have 2 printers...HP Photosmart 7250 all in one and HP Officejet 8000. I wanted to print a document off of the internet that was 8 pages long. When I printed it on the 8000 it printed 1 page and indicated it had printed 1 of 1 pages but when I printed it on the 7250 it printed all 8 pages. Why is the 8000 only printing 1 page and thinking the document is only 1 page long?

    Interesting. Initially, I would say that this is a driver issue which would prompt a complete uninstallation/reinstallation of the pritneer software.
    Start by going through Programs and Features, Devices and Printers and the Device Manager and make sure that the printer software is completely removed, uninstalled or deleted.
    Then in the start menu, click RUN and type "%temp%" and press ENTER. In the folder that opens up I want you to delete all the files and folders present that will allow you to delete them (some will not allow you to, and that is alright).
    After doing all that and restarting your PC follow the link below and install the Full-Feature software and drivers available through the HP download:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=5058336
    Once that is all said and done, post back here letting me know if the issue sitll persists.
    Have a great day!
    Hi Neoskeleton
    I did exactly as you suggested and reprinted after the reinstall and regretably it has made no difference.
    Before and after the reinstall I had also printed off a photo with a black background. This came out with a strong green tinge to it. I know how it should look as I printed it months ago off my previous printer a Canon Pixma 4200 and it was perfect.
    Post re-installation the printer now is stuck in a loop constantly showing the demo made again and again, interuupted only by requests to print.
    Beginning to feel I should have kept my old one.

  • My browsers freeze in 10.2.8 but not classic?

    I have a G4 450MHz dual running 10.2.8. I'm on a wireless broadband connection. I installed a new Xerox 7400 printer 2.5 weeks ago by ethernet and have had browser freees ever since. (Safari and Explorer) About the same time I downloaded Windows media player which I have since trashed. I installed Unsanity's windowshade on 10/04/05 which worked fine but have since gotten rid of it. My e-mail works and I can get to google but no further. I can use Explorer on Classic fine. Xerox swears the printer CAN'T be the problem. When I turn the printer ON my e-mail quits - if it is off my e-mail works. ISP says basic router is working I tried bypassing the wireless lynksis and it didn't change. My laptop won't connect from across the room either. Could it be my ethernet hub? My other printer hooked up to the hub is working fine. or would upgrading my OS fix things?
    I have plugged and unplugged things dozens of times.
    I have a business and am really stuck

    First, welcome to the discussions,
    If I may suggest, a couple of things.
    I would recommend getting completely away from IE for Mac even though it is still usable. Microsoft has for over a year said it would no longer support it for Mac, Now they have announced beginning as of January they will no longer support or even the downloadable version for Mac period.
    I would also try disabling OS9 or Classic and then try Safari,
    The Installation of your Printer shouldn't have been an issue with the operation of your browsers.
    http://darrel.knutson.com/mac/www/browsers.html
    If I may I would look at the older browsers offered by Mozilla, and Opera for OS9.
    Next your printer,
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107060
    This link may help. but bear in mind that the move to 10.3 fixed several issues, including some printer inconsistencies.
    Many users opt not to do the Operating System Upgrades and thus, some suffer from the issues as you have described above,
    Often these are hard to sort out especially using newer printers with older operating systems when it comes to getting drivers to work.
    Xewrox
    Be sure that you have downloaded the latest drivers for your printer and operating system, sometimes they update the drivers for the older operating systems, sometimes not, you may have to trial and error..
    Hope some of this has helped. Don

  • Inconsistencies Printing pdf's in preview and adobe reader

    Hey, we have been having a lot of trouble recently printing pdf's, the quality varies depending on the app we print with.
    Preview seems to give the best results where as Adobe Reader seems to make text pixelated as tho there is no anti-aliasing going on.
    We would switch to using Preview only in some cases we are finding it dos not display the pdf's correctly e.g. there are random lines draw round text and things like that!
    Any help would be great, we are using an OKI C5600 if that is any help.

    Select a PDF file in a Finder window and click the More Info button; the pop-up information will let you specify the app it should be opened with, and allow you to click "change all" to use the same app for other files of the same type.

  • Exporting from iPhoto - 8 x 10 prints - image inconsistencies

    My other half and I are relatively new to digital photography - but we're in something of a bind.
    We looking for several dozen 8 x 10 prints (for an exhibition) from images stored in our iPhoto library. We'll be supplying them on disc to a photography bureau for printing. We did some sample 8 x 10s on our own printer, and were dismayed by how the image resolution varies from image to image; some look more pixellated than others. I'm wondering whether this is because of something we've done in iPhoto, since (as I understand it) JPEG resolution diminishes if photos are edited in any way. To my knowledge, we haven't edited the images; they've just sat in the library - although we've copied and exported many of them.
    It's making me wonder whether iPhoto is the most suitable application for this kind of work, since it holds everything in the space-friendly JPEG format rather than their original chunky size.
    I'd be really grateful for answers to any or all of the following:
    1. What activities in iPhoto might have caused the quality of our original JPEGs to have deteriorated, and is there any way of checking this? And can the photos in question be "retouched" in any way? I have access to Photoshop 7, if that's of any help.
    2. What format would be the best for exporting the images for the photography bureau (TIFF, presumably?) and are there any tricks or traps to be aware of? I've exported from iPhoto dozens of times, but never in such quantity.
    3. In the future, if we want to make larger prints from our digital images, should we be looking to download in RAW format rather than JPEG (the only two formats our camera, a Canon EOS10D, seems to support) - and use an application other than iPhoto? Or would upgrading to iPhoto 6 help us in any way.
    Many thanks.

    Hi, David.
    1. What activities in iPhoto might have caused the quality of our original JPEGs to have deteriorated, and is there any way of checking this? And can the photos in question be "retouched" in any way? I have access to Photoshop 7, if that's of any help.
    Cropping, perhaps more than anything else, because it reduces the actual number of pixels in the image. Any sort of editing or manipulation followed by saving, when the file is in JPEG format. Every time you save any new change to a JPEG image, the image is re-compressed and further degraded.
    If you have your camera save your images as JPEGs, re-save them as uncompressed TIFFS or PSDs as soon as you get them onto your Mac. Do all your editing and manipulating in TIFF, PSD, or some other uncompressed format. You will still have the original JPEG compression artifacts in them, but at least you won't be adding a new layer of artifacts and blurring with every change you save. For best results, shoot all your important images in RAW format instead of JPEG, so they are never compressed at all.
    2. What format would be the best for exporting the images for the photography bureau...?
    Ask the bureau what format they recommend or prefer. If they can handle .psd files, that format would maximize your own control.
    If you have Photoshop 7, there may be no good reason for you to use iPhoto at all.

  • Major inconsistencies in printing.....

    Having some serious issues at my office with regards to printing:
    Here is how it is going down.
    I just moved my office into a new location, printer was networked with Ethernet at the previous location and printed just fine. Now I have it temporarily connected via USB to my iMac and it won't print worth a **** - freezes up and freezes up any application I am trying to print from. Tried connecting it through Ethernet directly to the iMac, same problem.
    Reinstalled the printer software it came with - still problems.
    Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    What kind of printer is it? Have you taken any troubleshooting steps, like deleting and then re-adding the printer? Can you post a crash log please?

  • HP PhotoSmart 6520, Printer offline, Wireless printing from Windows 8.1 and others

    My parents own an HP PhotoSmart 6520. They have 3 or 4 computers. 1 Is connected to this printer via USB cable. 3 Are "connected" over wireless. The printer has the latest firmware updates according to checks from the printer front display.
    Problem is this:
    1) When first starting the printer, and the printer gets on the wifi network, all wifi-available devices can print to it over wifi. We are also able to browse to the printer config web pages to see status, and change configs as needed.
    2) After about 5 minutes of printer inactivity, all wireless clients can't print to the printer to print, and can't connect to the printer's web page. (The printer appears to be offline to each OS that uses WiFi to get Internet access.
    3) If we visit the printer control screen, physically attached to the pinter, find the network configuration, and choose to "turn off" wifi at the printer, then after off, "turn on" wifi and see an IP address get assigned, then all WiFi machines can print to the printer over WiFi. However, after 5 minutes, again, the printer is offline. No matter what or how much each WiFi-based machine sends to their printer queue/spool, the printer remains offline.
    4) If the USB-connected machine prints to the printer over USB, the printer once again becomes available over the wireless network.
    The work-around is terrible. (Cycle WiFi access every time they need to print from Wireless devices.)
    Things we have tried:
    1) This is running the latest firmware according to the WebService section request to check for upgrades. They are on the latest according to the results. (no help)
    2) DHCP was the initial config for network settings. I moved to a DHCP server configuration with static IP served by printer MAC address. (No help)
    3) I switched to totally static IP address, thinking it might be a DHCP lease-time/renewal issue, or custom vendor string issues or bug. (no help)
    4) Enabled/Disabled IPv6 even though they are on a NAT-ed network with only IPv4 support. (no help)
    5) Visited printer config with web broswer, and change energy saver setting from "5 minutes" to "15 minutes" because the ~5 minute window seemed like an approximate time limit. (No help)
    6) Enable/Disable other settings through the web and restart the printer. (No help.)
    7) Suggestions listed here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Photosmart-6520-e-All-in-One-Printer-series/5169038/model/516... (No help)
    In testing this, with static IP or not, from other machines, when we can print over WiFi to the printer, the IPv4 address is ping-able from peers on the network. After ~5 minutes pass, and the pinter goes "offline" there are no ping replies to the static or other IP address assigned to this printer. By all accounts, when the printer is "offline" it really is no longer on the WiFi network. Meanwhile, oter devices can ping each other. (All computers, smartphones, tablets, etc can all respond to ping.)
    None of the other devices suffer from dropped access to the WiFi and Internet.
    Suggestions?
    I do not have access to this right now, but I can walk my parents through whatever steps are needed to resolve this.
    Thanks!
    P.S. Other things tried:
    http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Networking-and-Wireless/If-your-printer-drops-off-your-network/...
    1) When online, generating report, reports online
    2) When offline, report reports that it is still associated with access point
    3) Printer is about 2 feet away from the access point it is communicating with and has max-bars showing signal strength.
    4) Channel allocation for WiFi was selected based on least used channel, and works very well for all other devices on this channel.
    5) There is only one accesspoint with the name it associates with.
    6) The only options for power-saving "auto-off" we see via web pages from printer are: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, and 15 minutes, and changing to 15 minutes does not allow the printer to remain online for 14 minutes -- it still goes offline to the network after ~5 minutes -- even agfter changing this settings and power cycling the printer.
    7) No wireless extender is being used.
    8) We tried static IP, Dynamic IP, and statically assigned DHCP served IP.
    Once printer is "offline" when visiting printer to tell printer to disable WiFi access, then re-enable it, all machines with items in their printer queue/spool *immediately* de-queue/de-spool their printer jobs to the printer.
    This is the closest description: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-Setup/Photosmart-6520-goes-off-line/td-p/324... Where is that patch?

    Hi @TheSynAck,
    I see you are using a Hot Spot, I believe we have found the reason for the connectivity issues. There may be a setting that needs to manually configured for the Hotspot to 'allow' your printer access. Also, hotspots may have limitations and restrictions that may cause connectivity issues.
    Take a look here: Setting up the Printer as a HotSpot, it shows a Laserjet but the same steps apply.
    Keep in mind that Hotspot connections are 'best effort' connections due to the issues of inconsistencies within the connection. They are not routers. Therefore, you may experience issues in the future when using the Hotspot for your connection. Usually a powercycle or hard reset of the HotSpot will resolve such issues.
    I would not recommend getting another Hot Spot as the connection is not guaranteed, you could however try a Wireless Router if you are looking to upgrade anyways.
    With the PS 6520 you also have the ability to print using the HP Wireless Direct printing option. Please click on the link below to get started:

    I hope this gives you a better understanding of the intermittent connection issues.

  • Print Layout Designer - inconsistent output

    Hi,
    We have received consistent compaint from our client that the output of Print Layout Designer are inconsistent.
    Eg: The same PLD template is used for An invoice print out from 2 different workstation.  However, workstation A display the format properly, workstation B will have missing lines between boxes or the alignment is not displayed properly.
    We have also recently encountered the problem that our client export the invoice to Acrobat and then print it.  However, it displays properly for workstation with  Acrobat version 8, 9, but missing lines for version 7.
    Another scenario could be the form is displayed properly on the screen, but the physical print out to a printer is not consistent.
    We really appreciate some share of thoughts here.  Is switching to other report writer, eg: Crystal Report, the only option?
    Edited by: Shwu Hua Gan on Aug 10, 2008 2:57 AM

    Gordon,
    Thanks for replying.
    This is what happen to our client.
    The font size of the customised PLD SAP Invoice is size 5.  In order to preview the layout, they have to preview in PDF, once they are happy with the details and then print.
    In some workstations, there are Adobe Reader version 8 or 9.  In a couple of workstations, there are Adobe Acrobat version 9.
    Let's say, there are 2 fields with the following properties:
    Field A, Left = 0, Width = 10.
    Field B, Left = 10, Width = 10.
    Adobe Acrobat version 9 display the border of the field properly.  However, those with Adobe Reader 8 / 9 will see gaps between fields.
    If we change them as follows the field the gap;
    Field A, Left = 0, Width = 10.
    Field B, Left = 9, Width = 11,
    Then those with Adobe Acrobat version 9 is missing the border for because Field A overlaps with Field B.  But Adobe Reader 8/9 will print fine.  It also works fine if user click 'Print Preview' as normal and then click 'Print'
    Does anyone knows whether this inconsistencies is caused by
    - printer drivers; or
    - Adobe; or
    - SAP Business One.

  • Report to Check All Printer Connections

    I would like to find out if there is a report that can be executed that will be able to specify if/ or check if the remote host spool is available. there are plenty of Printers that need to be checked. Does anyone have an idea?

    Hi there,
    Know whether any set of users only facing problem, if so they have problem with only one report are with all the reports? If particular to one report then issue will be with that output type of specific report else there might be issue either with LPD services installed on the local machine or may be with network/printers.
    But this case I doubt that there is some issue either with network/printers or some issue at the end user desktop.
    Just check of any spool inconsistencies or spool number ranges incase no printing is possible from the system.

  • Images turn greyscale when saving Postscript/PDF or Print Preview but text remains in colour?

    It is in colour, until I turn on Overprint preview, or try to save the booklet as a Postscript or PDF file.
    In print preview or when doing any of the above things, it goes to greyscale but the text and rectangles remain in colour?
    The images have been placed from Photoshop as eps files and were duatone in PS.
    Please help.

    As both the engineering resource at Adobe most involved with end-to-end PDF print publishing workflows and having served at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo last year as an Industry Research Professor teaching students about modern, reliable workflows as well as variable data publishing with PDF, I find this thread fascinating.
    Obviously, you can force fit PostScript for output, albeit very inconveniently and with the possibility of problems and artifacts due to the device-dependent nature of PostScript (along with flattened transparency, lack of ICC color management, and inconsistencies in spot color handling).
    However, unless the university assignment was specifically to demonstrate to you how difficult and problematic PostScript-based workflows were over a dozen years ago, I am absolutely appalled that any accredited university or professional school program in design / graphic arts / publishing / printing would have you use PostScript workflows in any way.
    Other than hacking around with the possibility of doing output that varies based on external variables as the job is being RIPed, I know of absolutely no advantages of PostScript over PDF in this arena and obviously a boatload of disadvantages.
    As I have written many times in the past, I wouldn't advocate that publishers with extensive collections of EPS-based content do wholesale conversions of same, but for new content or when content needs revision, PDF is definitely the replacement for EPS or PostScript in any flavor.

  • Text Moves When Zooming/Printing

    Hi everyone,
    My wife is going to school for graphic design and is having a huge problem with InDesign. When placing text in very precise locations, the text moves when she zooms in/out significantly. Even when it shows the text being in the perfect location at 100% (although it is not perfect when zooming in or out), it will be moved when the file is exported as a PDF or printed. Needless to say this is causing major problems for her. We have already reset the program preferences with no luck. She is using the Design Premium CS5.5 version of InDesign on a MacBook Pro with OSX Lion.
    As a side note, I tried the same tasks on my Windows 7 PC with Design Standard CS5 with no problems. We compared the program settings and made sure there were no differences but it still happened on her Mac. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
    Aaron

    Hi everyone,
    I'm really sorry for the delay. I took screenshots at each zoom where the type shifted. Here are the screenshots:
    @4000%
    @300%
    @125%
    @100%
    The reason that I don't believe it is simply monitor inconsistencies is due to the fact that whether I align the type at 4000% or 100%, the print still doesn't match the on-screen display. If I align at 100%, the print is still off by the same amount as these screenshots. Thanks again for your help.

  • FM for character inconsistencies in BOM for VC

    Hello all,
    I am working on one VC project where our requirement is to create report for characteristic inconsistencies in qoutations for BOM items.
    In qoutation,  the BOM header is consistent for characteristics entered but the items are not. We need to print the report for inconsistent quotations.
    Please suggest .
    Thanks in advance.

    HI,
    You can always get the BOM Material Code by:
    Select Single * from AUFM where AUFNR = w_order_no.
    & then use FM CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2  to fine out the Materials consumed by the BOM material.
    I hope this helps,

  • Difficulties printing to a specific scale on C4280 on a Mac

    I have a C4280 All-In-One, and I'm experiencing a lot of difficulty and inconsistencies printing to specific scales. I'm on a Macbook Pro using version 10.6.8. Everything software-wise is up to date, including all available drivers and updates for the C4280. I have some drawings in PDF format that I need to print at both enlarged and reduced scales, but no matter how I change the scaling variables, the results are inconsistent. I'm printing from Preview, which is Mac's default PDF reader. I deselect "Auto Rotate" and enter the specific scale after selecting the "Scale" button. But what comes out seems to be different each time. Does anyone have a solution for this? I use these PDFs for scale model building, so the precision is critical.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I would like to print text to a specific location
    (row, column) on the screen. Is there a way to do
    this using println() or another method?
    Thank you for your help,
    JoelYou would have to create this on your own, but you could use a for loop to count rows and columns, for example:
    public void mySpecialPrint(int row, int col, String string){
    //This gets you to the right row
    for (int x = 0; x<row-1; x++){
    System.out.println();
    //This gets you to the right col
    for (int y = 0; y<col-1; y++){
    System.out.print(" ");
    //This prints out your string
    System.out.println(string);
    Hey, it ain't pretty, and it aint' tested, but it should do the job.

  • Novice Q - Printing Woes

    Good morning all;
    I'm an amateur photographer looking to get a little less amateur in my ways, so I have decided to give Aperture a try. I have the Luna/Long book and after working through that, I find I that I like Aperture (version 1.5.6), I think it will be more useful than iPhoto for a lot of things. I also have the 2002 version of Photoshop Elements (it's pretty old and not that feature-rich), which came with my printer. Speaking of which, here's my hardware setup:
    - 2006 20" Intel iMac, 2.16 GHz, 2 GB RAM, ATI Radeon X1600
    - HP Photosmart 8250 printer
    - CanoScan 8400F scanner (can scan film/negatives too)
    - Canon PowerShot S1 IS camera (3.2 MPix)
    There are ColorSync Profiles in the system for several HP Paper types, and several types of scanning medium (negative film, positive film, etc.). So, I believe I'm okay as far as Profiles go. I have Verified them as of last night. Oh, there's a camera profile in there too, but it only shows up when the camera is plugged into the iMac.
    Here's my story - I am recently married (10-Nov) and our photographer shot 35mm film. Not a big deal, the photos turned out great. She gave us the proof book, as well as all the negatives. I decided to scan the negatives into my computer here. The images that occurred after scanning did not look like the 4 x 6 printouts that were created at a local photo place with the negatives.
    However, that's another story. Right now I'm just concerned with getting a printout that resembles what is on-screen.
    Aperture has the ability to soft-proof images on-screen, which is very handy. Unfortunately the proofing using any of the 3 HP Paper profiles installed looks terrible - way to red and faded. The printouts, they look the same as the soft proofing. I bet I have printed off 150 4 x 6 prints since XMas trying to figure this out.
    There are a number of Output Profiles available in Aperture's Print dialogue. Yes, my f'd up HP Paper Profiles are in there too. The installed HP Printer Driver/Software also gives me some choices as to what kind of profile to use, although those choices are more generic and there's always been only 5 options no matter what software is used to print a photo.
    No matter what options I select, either in Aperture or in the Printer Options, my Aperture prints are always coming out too red and faded, exactly like the soft-proofed image using the HP Paper Profiles. That's my problem with Aperture.
    The ColorSync Utility tells me exactly where the offending color Profiles are for the HP Paper types. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to drill down through the folder structure far enough to get at them and delete them - they seem to be buried in a file titles hppsmart_PMplugin. ColorSync shows additional levels of folder structure after that particular file, but I cannot access that through the finder. Spotlight searches are of no use either.
    Anyone got any suggestions for me?
    The photo printoffs from iPhoto/PS Elements 2 are better - I can make it so that there's no reddish cast, but neither of those programs has the advanced fine-tuning features that Aperture has. Yes yes, I've read all the Aperture vs. Photoshop debates and PS is more advanced for pixel crunching, but given the software I've got, Aperture is the most advanced for image modifications. Thanx in advance.

    I enjoyed Cloverfield quite a bit. Matt Reeves and JJ Abrams have done a great job with the concept. I had two minor gripes with the movie, 1) there seemed to be some inconsistencies in the size of the monster (my wife & friend didn't notice though, maybe it's just me), and 2) how did anyone find the camera afterwards?
    Back to the Aperture printing issue. I believe that I have figured out what the problem is. I spoke with HP customer support last night and they were not helpful in the slightest. The HP support guy wasn't even aware that the bundled printer software installed those paper profiles. Pretty much a waste of time.
    When the printer is installed, several files are deposited in the /Library/printers/hp/photosmart/ folder. Three files actually, but one of them contains my three f'd up HP paper profiles. I found this out via ColorSync.
    ICC Profiles, normally, are independent files that usually sit in another folder, but really, they could be anywhere. Through the Finder, all I can see is those three HP-installed files in the abovementioned folder tree.
    However, with ColorSync, it identifies several deeper folder layers that are somehow embedded inside that 20 MB hp file. Digging with with ColorSync, I found that the HP file contains all kinds of paper profiles for all kinds of Photosmart printers. That's great and all, but I can't use them and they probably wouldn't work right either.
    I'm at work now, and I can't remember all the details, but ColorSync, in the Devices Tab, will let you change a particular profile's contents, meaning that it's still called Profile A, but you could point it at Profile B's ICC file and Profile A = Profile B. So, I tried doing that for my 3 HP profiles, pointing them all at the HP ColorMatch/sRGB profile, but it didn't work. My Aperture printouts were still messed up as usual.
    Next step was to delete the 20 MB HP-installed file in the Library/printers/hp/photosmart directory. This had the pleasing effect of removing the 3 HP profiles from the output profile options list in Aperture. I was hopeful at that point.
    Unfortunately, that file is part of the printer driver system and the printer didn't work with that file missing. Crap.
    So, what have I learned here?
    I believe Aperture is installed, set-up and being used correctly.
    I believe that my HP printer is installed, set-up and being used correctly.
    I believe that the embedding of the ICC profiles in the printer driver file is causing my problem. Somehow, when a Color Managed Application (like Aperture) sends a print job, the driver for the printer overrides whatever the application wants and defaults to one of the three embedded profiles it has handy.
    I really wish that I could get into that file and remove those offending profiles. I'd be happy just using the ColorMatch/sRGB setting and leaving it at that.
    So, that's about where I'm sitting right now. If I continue to use Aperture, I'm going to have to come up with another method of printing out images at home. Any suggestions?

    Check the entries in the NAST table. This message means that either there is no entry in NAST (e.g. it was not created because of the missing condition record) or that the entry has already been processed (NAST-VSTAT <> 0).
