Printing on half sheets

I don't know how to print half sheets on my hp 4014 laser printer. I seem to have it correctly set up in the program but when I print, I get the first sheet and then it stops and says that the paper size is incorrect and it doesn't let me continue no matter what I do, Any ideas???

This is a very old technology. Laser printers produce more heat than normal inkjet printers. The following printer supports printing on transparencis.

My HP 309c is only printing on half the page.

When I print from a web page, my HP309C only prints on the lower half of the paper. This causes a 2 page document to print on 4 sheets. Printing from Word works normally. I have reloaded the driver (full install of software) direct from HP with no affect. Running Windows 7 home and all patches. IE 8 and 9 both affected.

Please read this post then provide some details. What printer model? What operating system? What program are you printing from?

Only printing on half of page

Below you can see the settings I have used to print the page. And What the page came out like.The paper is 220gm Gloss.Thanks!

Here is what you need to do. On the printer go to the diagnostics menu and then choose the pq troubleshooting and select. The printer will print a number of pages including 4 sheets of solid fill color i for each color. This is where you will see the missing color and most times it is only 1 toner that is having an issue. This does not mean that particular toner is bad as it could be a bad slot. To find out you need to go to the same diagnostics menu and then scroll down to disable cartridge check and select. When the printer says ready, diagnostics mode, open the toner door and remove all the toners. Now I will give you some examples of what to do next. Let say the Cyan toner only prints on half the page. You will want to take the black toner cartridge and place it in the cyan slot. Close the door and run the same test pages again. Most will be blank, but you should get 1 page of solid fill black. If the page is ok unlike the cyan page, then the issue is the cyan toner. If the page has the same problem as the cyan page, then the slot has an issue and most likely the laser/scanner lens are dusted over. Sometimes you can lift the shutter in the back of the toner cavity for that color and use a qtip to clean the lens. Most times the laser/scanner assembly need to be removed from the printer which is not easy and then the optics cleaned.

I can't print a contact sheet

...and it's driving me nuts! Every time I try to print a contact sheet (to pdf, or to printer), everything just hangs. I get the spinning beachball fo death most attempts, or it spins and spins and finally spits out the pdf after about 10 minutes. I used to be able to do this quickly with no problem, but something is up now. I'm running the latest version of Aperture on a macbook pro. Thanks in advance!

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 13/13.1 running on?
Assuming Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit, open the Elements Organizer 13/13.1 and select your media
for the Contact Sheet.
Go to File Menu/Print and set up the Print Dialog for Contact Sheet.
If you used Edit Menu/Add Caption beforehand, I can see how you can get
Date
Caption
Filename
under the Print dialog's "4" and even a page number if you have more than 1 page. But, I am not seeing
where you are going to get a title for each of the contact sheets.

You can get into the Elements Organizer 13/13.1 from the Welcome Screen or by clicking on the Organizer Tab

Can I Print a Contact Sheet of Photos in a Calendar?

I'm making personalized calendars for many different people. I don't want to put in the same photos I had in their calendar for 2011. Is there a way I can print a contact sheet of the photos I had in the 2011 calendar ( I still have it saved in Projects), so I don't use the same photos? It's very tedious going back & forth, back & forth as I creat each new calendar.

Using Elements Ver. 7. I have one photo which I have cropped using a 4x6 aspect ratio. I've done the same thing on dozens of photos but this one only prints on half the page (4x6 photo paper) no matter what orientations I set the printer or the program to. Has anyone seen this and possibly have a fix? Appreciate any help I can get.

Suggest that you "crop" or resize the picture file to 4x6 in.before sending it to the printer.

If you have the Mac version of iWork/Numbers you can print individual sheets. My sheets are "printed" on separate pages when using the iCloud beta, so another option may be to print just a range of pages (or a single page) via the print dialog setting in Preview (or your PDF viewer app).

In your program retrieve the data into tables (you probably now have as a structure)...or alternatively, write a small program that gets the data, then calls the SAPscript (probably through and ENTRY subroutine).
If you put your data into tables in a program, just loop and do the entire form process for each document...remember to CLEAR all tables/structures used by the SAPScript itself...if not you'll "double up" each time you process a new document.

How can I print a contact sheet with a repeated row of images?

Hi there,
I am hoping that it is possible with my version of iPhoto to print a contact sheet on which I need to have a row of 8 pictures that then repeat down the entire page.
I understand how to set the slider for the number of "rows" across the page. But, how do I then get these 8 pictures to repeat on the same piece of paper?
I am an art teacher...need to do this for a project for my class!

A contact sheet can only put each photo once on the page. I can't think of a way to do it in iPhoto.
I was able to do what you describe in Photoshop Elements. If you have access to that program you can give it a try.
In Photoshop Elements, open all 8 photos.
Choose File->Contact Sheet II
Source Images Use: Current Open Documents
Thumbnails: Place across first, Columns: 8, Rows 1 (Use Auto Spacing)
Uncheck "Use Filename as Caption" unless you want the names.
Click OK.
You then need to move the row of photos to the top of the page with the move tool. Then while holding down the option and shift keys, use the move tool to drag copies repeatedly until you've filled the page.

ILife 09 Multiple Prints onto One Sheet of A4

Hi - Anyone know how to pick a couple of photo's from one event, size them, arrange them and print them on sheet of A4?
Help wasting loads of A4 photo paper doing one 6x4 per page!!

select the photos and click print - select the printer, paper size and print size (be sure that they will fit - for example 4 6x4 prints will not fit on an A4 - 12 inches of print can not be done on an 11.69 inch piece of paper) remembering that they need some white space - you will have to experiment to see how large you can go
Then click customize and in the setting (the gear looking icon at the bottom of the page) select multiple prints per page - the preview will reflect your settings and show you what is going to print
Click print and select any printer specific options
And note that if the print size is not in a 4:3 ratio you will get cropping unless you pre crop to the ratio you will be printing
Click print and you will have your prints

Numbers (v. 3.5.2) is freezing when I try to print the second sheet of my spreadsheet

I have a spreadsheet that I am trying to print. I print the first sheet fine but when I try to print the second sheet, even though I can see the document and print dialogue it won't let me click on anything, click done to exit printing or do anything in the document I made.
Even when I restart my computer, it just opens the spreadsheet up to the print dialogue and it is frozen. Any help?
