Printing Script without a spool request
Hi Experts.
when executing transaction F.62, it is giving a spool request instead of printing the form or generating preview.
my requirement is that I need to print the script directly after the transaction is executed.
Hi,
Go to Txn. NACE... select your Application and click on "Condition Records" button.... Select your Output Types... then choose your condtion.... inside the screen... Please maintain "4" under the column Date/Time... then Select the line.. and click on the "Communication" Button.. here please flag "print Immedieately" and "Release after Output"

Print preview for the spool request without actual printer hooked u to SAP
Hi,
We do not have any printer connected to SAP system. But the business team just wants to do print preview of a document using the SAP local printer settings thorough SP01. They do not want to print it.
They say that SAP has many printer drivers in its setting. So even if the printer is not attached they should be at least able to do a print preview ?
Is this possible ? What do I need to do ?
Regards,
Rajesh.Rajesh Thomas,
the preview function needs a printer - for whatever reason.
If NO printer is defined in the system, someone should be able to set up a printer, i.e. locl with driver SAPWIN. Try.

Printing invoices with VF31 in only one spool request
Hello,
we want to print a number of invoices with VF31 using only one spool request, as at this time we become one spool request for each document.
The problem is that VF31 calls indirectly RSNAST00 and this program makes a call to the print program where we have OPEN_FORM and END_FORM each time, so this creates one spool request every time the program is called.
Is there a way to print in only one spool request without doing big changes to programs?
Thanks and regards.Hi,
To append to an existing spool, see the SAP Notes 85318 and 16410.
For spools to be appended the parameters 'New spool request' and 'Do not Append Print Jobs' must be set to 'No' by the application creating the spools.
For Sapscript, when the application call the function module OPEN_FORM in your print program, you can transfer a structure ITCPO to the parameter OPTIONS. Via ITCPO-TDNEWID, you can select the option 'New Spool Request'.Via ITCPO-TDFINAL, you can can select if the spool is closed.

Spool requests are being sent the the B9 printer queue(RSNAST00).
Hi gurus,
has anyone found a fix for this issue? i'm currently experiencing the same issue and would like to know how i can fix this..
Spool requests are being sent the the B9 printer queue. Most spool requests are for one page, when there are spool requests for multiple pages these spool requests take longer to create, in the meantime, other spool requests that are single pages are going to the printer queue. This creates and "out-of-vendor-order" issue during printing.
The out of vendor order sequencing creates a significant level of work effort for the business users to resort the printed copies in order to prepare the documents for mailing. A change is required to eliminate this manual effort.
Development has indicated an enhancement could be made to the RSNAST00 program where only those print jobs for application "MR" with transmission "1" (for print) would be gathered in groups of "X" number of documents to create one spool, prior to creating the spool, a check would be made to see if the next document was for the same vendor, if so the next document/s would be included in the same spool, when a new vendor was found, a new spool would be created.
To temporarily fix the issue the jobs have been placed on "no execute" and the support team is identifing the chargebacks and RTV created during the week, manually running the RSNAST00 program in groups of 500 - 800 documents, ensuring all doucments for a vendor a sent in the same spool request.Post Author: Stephen@Azzu

Nobody know the answer to this one? Stephen@Azzu:Here's a good one...I'm using Crysal Reports XI (fully service packed) and the reports I have created are being used in a VB.Net application. I have no problems whatsoever in printing the reports, everything is fine. However, when the report is sent to the printer, the printer queue displays 'document' as the, err, document name. I'd like it to say something more relevant, such as the document number the user selected. So I've tried setting the ReportDocument.Name but wait, it's read only!? How about the summary info? No change. Filename? No change either. I've browsed the internet, searched the knowledge base and found nothing. So my question is this...How do I get the printer queue to display an appropriate name for my document?Stephen -

Add the output from two documents on to a single spool request
Hi All,
I have a situation where the Remittance output using transaction F110 goes to a spool request which triggers VF31 transaction to ouput invioices, these invoices go on to a separate spool. My requirement is that all the invoices related to the Remittance should print in the same spool request after the Remittance output? Is there any method that this can be done? Would an example be possible?
Regards,
Puneet P.Hi Puneet,
do you have access to the print program, I mean, can you change it when the open_form function is called (depends on customizing settings for this transactions)? If so, you can change the ITCPO-TDNEWID. This will cause to print the next output into the former opened one. So you first output has ITCPO-TDNEWID = 'X', the second ITCPO-TDNEWID = ' '. Then they will be merged into one.
Cheers,

Wht is a spool request explain me in detail?
Hi I want t know what is a spool request and wht is a spool request number
explan me thanking u
cheersHi,
Spool request is a document for which a print function has been selected. However, it has not yet been output to a printer or another device. The output data for the print document is stored partly formatted in a data store until an output request is created, that is, until it is sent to a particular output device.
The spool system uses a spool request to store the print data temporarily and to access it. The data is stored in a temporary format. You can also display the print document. The system automatically assigns a 10-digit ID number to a spool request.
Output request: From the point of view of the SAP spool system, an output request outputs the print data of a spool request to a particular output device.
Multiple output requests may exist for a single spool request. Each represents an instance of the output of the same spool request. Each of these output requests may have different attributes, such as the target printer or number of copies.
By differentiating between spool request and output requests, the spool system provides a means of storing the data temporarily.

SAP-Script Spool Requests over 2 GB
Hi Experts,
if I make a dunning run the created spool requests are over 2 GB and the printing will be cancelled by the system. I use SAPF150D2 for printing the SAP script dunning froms. According to SAP it's not possible to handle spool files with more than 2 GB in Temse.
I don't have any idea why the spool request take so much space. I only generate 2000 pages in one spool request without any graphics, only text and some table lines. On the same system we make invoice forms also in SAP script with more than 4000 pages and there is no problem.
Has anybody an idea what reasons could be that the request take so much space???
Regards
CDHi Christian,
It still looks strange to me that spool request is so big. If it would be output request then I would say that problem lies in your printer - it doesn't recognize Arial font and because of that data have to be send as images and not text, but spool....hmmm. I guess there is still a lot to learn That way or other thanks for info. It may be useful in future.

How to get SapScript and Smartform printed in one spool request?
Hello experts,
I want to print the production order package in one spool request.
Print program consists of Smartform and SapScript.
First page is in landscape format with barcode(Smartform) and the rest is in portrait format(Sapscript).
In SAP documentation is written that it is possible for several Smartforms to be printed in one spool request.
Is it possible for 1 Smartform and 1 SapScript called from a single program to be printed in one spool request?
I have tested it with calling first the Smartform control-no_close= 'X' without success.
Can anyone tell me if this is possible and how?
Thank you.
Kind regards,

Spool request printing unlimited number of copies
Hi Experts,
I have a Z transaction which uses SAP Script for printing. There is a peculiar problem with this. It is printing copies with out any limit. It is continously printing although the spool request is showing only 1 request in the spool attributes. The same form is getting printed multiple times.
I need your help guys....!

ArunHi Nagraj,
Thanks for the reply...i have checked in VV33 as well..but there is no output type defined in that transaction which is being triggered in my case.
still trying for the fix.....any how hoping that this is due to some configuration problem with output types or the printer....

How to print Spool requests for cheque printing sequentially
Dear All,
I am making vendor payments and printing cheques using F-58. It automatically creates a spool requests at the end of the transaction. When i complete all my payments and go to SP01 for viewing spool requests, the last request appears at the top of the list.
If i select 3 consecutive requests and print them at a time, the last request gets printed first on the first cheque number and the first request gets printed on the last cheque number.
This results in anomaly in the cheque number assigned in the system and the printed cheque as the last payment is printed on the first cheque.
I am using dot matrix printer with page format fixed for cheque specifications. The cheques are printed properly as per the format except the order of printing.
Kindly let me know how to print multiple requests sequentially from the spool requests list such that the spool request number printed matches with the serial cheque numbers.

SAP_2009Hi,
I understod your issue.
Whenever you posted multiple payment documents, and after that if you want to take cheque printouts sequentially by using more spool requests.........there is a way to sort out this issue.
1) Select all of your spool requests and click on Sort in ascending Order (CtrlShiftF5) and click on Print directly (CtrlShiftF8). By doing this you will get the cheque printouts sequentially according to your payment document sequence.
Hope this will help you
Assign ********, if it solved your problem.
