Pro*COBOL precomp and .pco demos not installed

I am new to the Oracle database.
Installing Oracle 9.2, Standard Edition - downloaded Disk1, Disk2 and Disk3 for Windows NT/2000/XP from the OTN downloads.
I have COBOL programmes with embedded SQL - I need the Pro*COBOL precompiler (procob).
It seems like Pro*COBOL did not get installed and I do not have the \procob\ demos folder under %ORACLE_HOME%\precomp\demo\. In fact, the only folder in the \demo\ folder is \sql\.
I have tried compiling my own COBOL programs, which use the COBSQL preprocessor to call the Oracle procob precompiler. I get the error message:
* CSQL-I-018: Invoking ORACLE8 Precompiler/Translator
'procob' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
* CSQL-F-021: Precompiler did not complete -- Terminating
Are Pro*COBOL precompiler and the procob demos installed with the download version of Oracle 9.2? Where can I get them from?

The procob demos are not installed by default -- Standard installation.
With a Custom installation, Pro*COBOL is found under 'Oracle 9i Development Kit 9.x > Oracle Programmer 9.x > Optional Dependencies'. You have to check the box 'Show all components including required dependencies' on the Custom install dialog to be able to expand the components and see the Pro*COBOL precompiler under Optional Dependencies.
I will get to testing the procob demos now and post back the success/failure of the Pro*COBOL precompiler installation.

Yes I had a problem! I upgraded from CS3 to Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium. I Installed but I could not register it to use it! ADOBE Software License Agreement kept on returning. The technical people had me delete a file and then it worked! But still no Acrobat! Please can you help!

I've tried multiple times now to install this update. When I do, it downloads and my computer will restart around 5 times with the 'beep' the first time. Once its finished the restarts and resumes normally, I check the Software Update via the Apple menu and it still appears in the list of updates.
What's the cause of this and what can I do to resolve this?

Is your machine plugged in when you do this? The firmware update will not take place unless your system is plugged in. You'll just get a black screen that flashes a few times and it will eventually boot regularly back to what it was. If the firmware is installing, you'll see a progress bar at the bottom of your display.

DVD drives read the bottom of the disk, not the top. Smooth out the paper & try again.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if one component won't install normally.
If needs be, the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility (MS Installer "Fixit") may be able to help force through the installation.

I've read through some of these pages and tried everything that's been advised, uninstalling and reinstalling while internet and laptop security is swithched off, downloading tools to completely remove anything related to iTunes, tried it in Safe Mode, nothing has worked. I've also noticed that in the start menu when I click on iTunes, it says '(empty)' where it should have the logo and ability to start the program, does this mean it doesn't download + install properly each time I've tried? Any help would be enormously appreciated.

No, iLIfe is a suite of applications: iMovie, iPhoto and GarageBand (earlier versions of the suite also contained iDVD ad iWeb).

How full is your drive? You need at least 10/15% of free space.

I don't think you're on iOS 5, I think you're using iOS 6. That's the latest version.
Unless you've used iCloud to back up your documents, you won't be able to restore them. And for future reference, you don't have to uninstall Pages to update your iPad anymore. Sorry about this.

You won't be able to install your original Acrobat 7 at all, or use your original serial number. The server which used to allow this was switched off.
But assuming you have a compatible system, like Mac OS 5 or Windows XP, licensed users of Acrobat 7 can download a replacement and get a replacement serial number.

I recently did a clean install of Win7 Ult on my X61 7676A24, and this is the only Lenovo software that I could not find a Win 7 solution for. However,
1. I was able to load WinDVD8 upgrade (from Lenovo's Win7 information page) after first loading the WinDVD5 version that was the last good release for Vista.
2. The Multimedia Center for Think Offerings is basically Roxio's suite for writing cd/dvd's, drag to disc and so on.
Since I could not load this anyway, I was forced to try out Win7's inbuilt cd/dvd writing - it works perfectly well. Even better, Win7 natively supports an excellent ISO burning tool. So, I think if you explore these inbuilt tools, you can probably live without the Mul Cent for Think Off.

You have entirely too little free space on the boot drive, for best performance it's best to have hard drives only 50% filled max and never more than 80% filled.
See Storage Drive here and reduce some space also make a seperate bootable clone backup of all your data BEFORE upgrading

Why is my computer slow?
If you upgrade and it doesn't go right or slows the machine down you might need to erase and install, which all your programs will have to be reinstalled from original sources and files from backup.
How to erase and install Snow Leopard 10.6
If you can't do this, then hire a local PC/Mac specialist.
Do not upgrade to 10.7 or 10.8 on that older machine, it will slow down and you will lose all your PPC based programs.
Leave the Lions for a brand new machine with a SSD drive.
