Hi experts,
please any one tell me installation procedure and working with JCO and where i will set path for jco.jar file and librfc32.dll ,sapjcorfc.dll ( on application server or on Presentation server).Actually i am using a java class method for fetching mail in SAP.Java class method package is in package com.FetchMailUsage.How i will use this in ABAP.

How to disable the probe() routine when install a pseudo driver

I developed a very simple pseudo driver which does not control any hardware device. I just want to learn dynamic load a driver through the SUN Autoconfiguration method. When I run add_drv mydriver, I got the following error message
devfsadm: driver failed to attach: xlpd
This is because the probe() routine try to look for some hardware but it can not find it. So the question is how to disable this probe() routine so that this pseudo driver can be installed.

attach may fail also if you didn't provide a configuration file for your pseudo driver. Here is a sample for the xlpd pseudo driver:

JCo INstalation on Fedora

Are there any limitations to the linux flavors one can use for installing the SAP JCO connector.
We are trying to install the 2.1.9 on Fedora linux and run into issue of couple of modules missing to run the libsapjcorfc.so or the sapjcorfc.so files.
SAP instalation support SUSE and REDHat does this limitation exist for SAP Connector as well?

Coreaudiod + other probs after re-install Yosemite 10.10.2

Problem description:
coreaudiod (not responding) error.
**I didn’t get the note several YEARS ago that TimeMachine would fill your drive until it used it all up, then start dropping b\u’s to save your last 1.44MB to write your last words to whomever one chooses.
I learned that after I had overfilled my 2TB LaCieTB that was RAID Striped as well as my 1TB internal hard drive. The Short of it: Mac stopped booting and I had to boot from web and re-install Yosemite. I do a lot of music and video recording/editing and lost FireWire connectivity to my FireStudio project A/D audio interface, started the coreaudiod, etc. error, and the inability to load my DAW (Digital Audio Work Station).
Performance seems to still be pretty decent most of the time, but there are certain tasks that seem to have really slowed to a crawl: when transferring/compressing/importing large files. I am currently compressing the last folder on my LaCie to transfer to harddrive, a 231GB backup.db file. it looks like it will be about a 2-3 hour ordeal. From what i see in Activity Monitor, the CPU is hardly being used at all (11%+/-) and Memory has used 15.98 of 16GB Physical w/ 17.4GB Virtual. I am definitely no guru, but that seems to be a pretty light load. Almost like the OS is not using resources to an optimal maximum.
Attached is the Etrecheck. Doesn't seem Activity Monitor wasn't showing me a lot of what Etrecheck did. It is reporting I need more RAM, maybe I'm wrong, but doesn't 16GB seem adequate? Maybe one of the hung tasks is eating RAM?

Query logic board prob - errors on installing Tiger

I'm trying to fix a friends G4 iBook 1.2GHz and have apparently made it worse.
It was running on 10.3.9 and warning of the HD being full so I suggested installing more RAM and updating to 10.4.8
I put in 512 mb of RAM and tried installing Tiger (from 10.4.6 Apple install disk - a generic one - not a specific to iBook version) and whatever I try it starts the instal and then stops "there were errors installing, please restart and try again"
I pulled the extra RAM out thinking that may be the cause but got same error. I tried starting the iBook in target disk mode and installing Tiger from my old G4 PowerMac. Also tried zero'ing all data on the iBook. Everything I do gets the same message. I think the message is exactly as I have typed above - there's no error code or specific reason for failure to install. Needless to say, it wont boot from the failed instal version - it just gets a black screen.
As I understand it was generally working before I did all this. It had been dropped a year ago and was reparied by Apple - new case and hinges. The battery now doesn't fit very well but it does always power up fine so I'm not assuming that is to blame for anything.
I think that gives all the necessary info. My guess is there may be a fault on the logic board. Another guess could be to do with the instal disk but it has worked fine on my G4 Powermac. Also, I have not run the Apple Hardware tester. I've had one in the past but cannot currently find it.
If you have any suggestions, I'd be very grateful to hear them. Many thanks

I my opinion you fell at the first hurdle. An overfull hard drive can cause all sorts of erratic behavior.
Instead of adding RAM, the remedy would have been a larger Hard disk.
Nevermind; you must try to restart it in a functioning Operating System, - if that's panther, that is OK, and then make some space on the disk, by dealing with excesive music, file, photos, videos, and other such personal documents.
Boot from the Installer CD, holding down the C key and then after selecting the language, go up to the top menu bar, to run Disk Utility and selecting the Hard disk, choose
Repair Disk.
Then Repair Permissions.
Exit disk utility, cancel the installation and restart normally.
Once you have things back on an even keel, then think about upgrading the OS to Tiger.
Of course adding the extra RAM will not hurt.

CS5- Quicktime probs with new install

I just bought CS5 Production Premium but after install I find Quicktime is screwy. For example: if i go to YouTube, the video does not play while the audio does. The youTube toolbar is incomplete. If I click on the blank frame, it will play in full frame but not when I esc back to the page. The Quicktime problem seems to pertain on all sites.
I run OS 10.5.8 on a mac clone with lots of power and storage. I updated all Mac software suggested but no joy.
Any help appreciated.

And what if you simply reinstall Quicktime from the OS DVD or by downloading it? Sounds like the obvious thing to do. also check, whether you are not using any third-party QT components (audio drivers, video capture cards) that are incompatible. Check the respective Library folder and (temporarily) move this stuff out of the way to test.

Prob during install

Hi, I have a problem when i choose apps instalation location to local disc (E:) (my third disc) because i want to save space on local disc (c:) but it still uses the (c:) disc space. Why? I want ot fix this.

I am having the same problem ( see std out below) even thought I have JSE1.4.1_01 installedand I explicitly tell the installer where to find it!

1.3.1/1.4 SDK
I did install J2SE 1.4 SDK but it is not able
recognize

HT1430 I have updated to iOS 7 but I really hate the "new look" of all my pre-installed Apps and the home scrfeen, dialling screen, contacts etc. It's really baby-ish and I would like to regain my previous appearance. Can I do this? If not can I uninstall

The new look iOS 7 is all "pretty" turquoises, lime greens and sky blue and the size of my Apps filed in their boxes are so tiny as to be illegible and the names in Contacts etc are allmuch, much smaller and totally impossible to read.
I absolutely hate it - it is not an "improvement"!
How can I go back to my previous settings, if at all?
If this is the way Apple is going then a completely different phone might have to be the way forward -surely we can have a choice - if Microsoft can continue to offer Classic as a look in windows, surely I can keep a classic iPhone appearance???
I am an older professional - I do not want a phone-screen which looks a like a jart of sweets - I want my highly organised, easy to read, filing system back please!!

Two mayor reason:
1) If you restore the backup in your iPad some file is corrupt or make conflict, but you have wipe your iPad and you have restore all the apps from zero, and nothing happend, try to wipe your ipad and try to install the email and your icloud account (if you have) and make a test, if working fine add one by one the other apps and test, when you find the apps give you a prob try to install all apps without this apps and make a backup for the future.
2) If nothing happend ask the test on a Genius Bar near you maybe is an hardware problem i think.

My Ti4200 have some prob

I have a MSI geforce 4 ti4200 vtd 8x and p4s8x mobo fresh winxp install with latest nvidia drivers and i have some probs :
- When i install MSI Live Update 2-3 and i load it , i have the error VBIOS.dll loaded failed.
After when i choose Vga driver or Vga bios i have :

-My other prob is when i play games, the temperature is too high and my motherboard bipping 5-6 times in 10seconds. NEVER OVERCLOCK. and i have put an extra 120mm in the case and it dosent help.
Plz need some help.

I don't recommend installing VIA chipset drivers on a SIS chipset motherboard, please refer to the ASUS website for support and documentation on your motherboard....better yet, take the system to a qualified technician because from your posts, I have come to the conclusion you do not have the experience necessary to rectify your problem.

Urgent: SAP JCO vs FTP

Hi Gurus,
We have two servers(one SAP and another non-SAP) installed in our network(at two different locations). Our requirement is to upload data from a flat file(located in non SAP server) into SAP. For this, we thought of two options.
1. To use SAP JCo, installing it on non SAP server and connecting to SAP system through it and uploading the data by calling some function module using JAVA Program.
2. To use FTP transfer, transferring the file to SAP Server and uploading data from there.
Here, we have to consider the facts like performance, security, scheduling etc. As per my research I found that performance wise and security wise option2 is better than option1.
Would appreciate your inputs on this.

option 1 is better. Advantages are :-

performance and scheduling also good so better you go with SAP JCO , its my opinion.

Can't install grub2 with presence of ufs2 partitions [Solved]

I'm trying FreeBSD in lieu of OpenBSD. OpenBSD works fine on MBR, but FreeBSD is picky and generally wants GPT. Was able to get FreeBSD working as long as it's protective MBR is used. Then when I want back into Arch, I have to put syslinux gptmbr.bin back into the MBR, but FreeBSD doesn't like the dd method. FreeBSD protects the MBR from being overwritten. This is GPT/BIOS not GPT/UEFI. The GPT conversion went without a hitch just fine. I can't even emulate Arch inside FreeBSD because of the MBR bootcode. I can however emulate FreeBSD inside Arch and even mount read-only the ufs2 partition with the following sequence:
mount -t ufs -o ufstype=ufs2 -o ro /dev/sdaxx /mnt
When I do grub-install /dev/sda from Arch I get the following message:

grub-install: error: hostdisk//dev/sda appears to contain a ufs2 filesystem which isn't known to reserve space for DOS-style boot. Installing GRUB there could result in FILESYSTEM DESTRUCTION if valuable data is overwritten by grub-setup (--skip-fs-probe disables this check, use at your own risk).
Then when I do grub-install /dev/sda --skip-fs-probe I get:

Booting from freebsd-boot reboots the computer and trying to boot from freebsd-ufs just sits there. I also think it sort of hard on the MBR to rewrite it each time I need to switch back and forth. I am currently using syslinux which is fine for linux (linux didn't even notice the difference between MBR and GPT), but nothing I put in syslinux.cfg will boot FreeBSD. FreeBSD doesn't like my wifi card (b43), but OpenBSD uses it until performance degrades to nothing.
Adding a line to my grub.cfg for FreeBSD would be like this:
menuentry "FreeBSD" {
set root="(hd0,msdos1,bsd1)"
kfreebsd /boot/loader
I don't have that line in there yet, but I doubt it would take it.
Even setting aside a BIOS boot partition (ef02) or extlinux doesn't even get noticed by grub.

I dd'd FreeBSD's protective MBR, and saved into a file. I ran qemu -kernel memdisk -initrd freebsd.mbr /dev/sda and it booted. So then how do I get it into syslinux? I already had a chainload from OpenBSD, so I modified it slightly to use the FreeBSD's MBR from the file.

Marking this as a new workaround to GPT/BIOS/FreeBSD with syslinux.

Fun experience with Novell Netware server install.

I had no clue where this belonged, since there's not a Netware Forum here...so here it is.
I just had an opportunity for a job interview today and the company uses Novell Netware, so I thought I'd install the server and network my computers with the Novell Client to refresh my memory on things. What a pain in the arse...
First of all I already had 3 OS's installed on my machine and since Netware installs in DOS, I had to figure out what I wanted to do...so I deleted Redhat 9 which I just installed, and in the process I deleted my extended partition which lost two logical drives which (my bad) I hadn't backed up yet...(No great loss...although there was some stuff there I wanted to keep I can recover it.) OK...what the heck...I figure...so I move all my partitions to the top of the drive to make room at the front to install DOS 6.22 and Netware, but alas it screwed up my Windows 2003 server (as noted in the MS forum). OK...nothing on there I critically need...so it gets nixed too! Now tons of free space and only Win98 which I don't want to delete because there is stuff on there I want to keep and backup first. (BTW - I'm using System Commander for partitioning and OS stuff).
OK...install...DOS 6.22..no probs...install CD-ROM drivers...no prob...Go to install Netware via DOS and gosh! It only recognizes 14 mb RAM available and needs 96. I have 128! What's up with that? I tried that a dozen different ways, still no joy. OK...so, maybe I should have tried my old instructor's suggestion first...Use Win98's Dos to install...OK...did it...Cool -- no more RAM issue, but I get to the Network card driver part of the install and what happens? The install proggy keeps assigning an "invalid interupt" to my Realtek Network card.
Now I have to go to my interview...that went well (I think - one can never be sure until you get the job offer)...
Come back and it's raining...that means I can't go play in my garden...that's OK though--got a thousand things to do on my computers.
In the meanwhile I bounce my idea off my old instructor to "force" the IRQ in POST -- so I changed PCI slot1 to IRQ 3 and PCI slot 2 to IRQ 5 (both were set to "auto" - I wasn't sure which slot I had my card in and didn't want to open my computer and change it so I just picked 'em both). Cool...blasted right through that part of the install. Ooops...now SYS volume won't load. Why? I don't know...I think I forgot to create the partition. So, we go back to System Commander, and get us a new partition for netware and run install again.
Now this part I couldn't figure out...made it through to the network card part and I can't believe it...it autorecognized a Kensington driver when I know for sure I have a Realtek network card. I ain't complaining...it worked...SYS volume loaded and I have a running Novell server.
Now let's see how many issues I can create trying to install the client on another Win 98 machine I need to use to type a thank you letter for the interview and get it printed! *lol
In case you missed it, there's no problem in the above post to try to help me figure out. I just thought some might enjoy the story.

hi i had posted a prob earlier about my N73 ME not being able to install any theme aftr i had formatted it...nw i tried formatting the fone (hard format) n the memory card again...bt still the same prob "unable to install" it tells...any help??

Try to do this :
- Try to format the memory card.
- Remove the battery for about 15 Minutes.
If the above mentioned doesnt work.
- Update your phone up to the latest firmware.
- Bring your phone to a Nokia care center.
