Problem accessing newly created servlet in Sun IDM

Hi, I am trying to implement Jcaptcha in Anonymous enrollment user form.
I have done following steps to access the JCaptcha sample servlet...When i try to access this servlet am getting..."The requested resource () is not available"...I have a feeling that i am missing some configuration at some place....please let me knwo what i am missing here....
1.Created servlet called "SimpleCaptchaServlet" and compiled and generated jar file and placed under /WEB-INF/lib...
2. created entry in the web.xml as follows....
<servlet>
<servlet-name>simpletest</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>org.xyz.captcha.SimpleCaptchaServlet</servlet-class>
<load-on-startup>0</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>simpletest</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/servlet/simple</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
3. URL that am trying to access the same: "http://localhost:8080/idm/servlet/simple"

Hi, I am not sure of what you mean...I guess you want me to test sample servlet...even sample hello world servlet does not work...again the the steps that i followed...
1.Create a servlet and place it under ../WEB-INF/lib/sample.jar
2.Create entry in web.xml
ran as follows: "http://localhost:8080/idm/servlet/helloworld"
Note: I am using "SJS app server 9.1_01" and "IDM 8.x version"...
Thanks in advance

  • Mac to Mac file sharing - file permissions problem upon newly created files

    Hi all,
    At home I have two iMac's both running Snow Leopard.
    iMac A/Users/*1 is sharing his iMac A/Users/*1/Documents folder.
    The sharing & permissions - preferences of this folder and the files inside this folder are:
    '*1' : (the iMac A's main user account) : Read & Write
    'share' : (a Sharing Only account, set up from iMac A) : Read & Write
    everyone : : No Access
    iMac B/Users/*2 is able to read & write to this folder because he is connected with iMac A as 'share'.
    So far so good. iMac A/Users/*1 can read & write to his own Documents folder
    and so can iMac B/Users/*2 because he is connected to iMac A as 'share'.
    But: this only applies to the folders and files that are _already in_ the iMac A/Users/*1/Documents folder,
    because I once changed the sharing & permissions -permissions of iMac A/Users/*1/Documents as mentioned above and executed 'Apply to enclosed Items...'.
    So the problem is: when I create a new file or folder on iMac A/Users/*1 or on
    iMac B/Users/*2 and put it in iMac A/Users/*1/Documents, this new file or folder will only
    have the standard sharing & permissions - preferences of any newly created file or folder
    on the iMac X/Users/*Y it was created. The problem is those sharing & permissions - preferences
    will not let the other iMac X"/Users/*Y" Read & Write to this new file or folder but only let himself
    Read & Write. Following, the other iMac X"/Users/*Y" will only be able to Read the newly created
    file or folder, because the standard standard sharing & permissions - preferences on
    iMac A/Users/*1 as well as on iMac B/Users/*2 are the following:
    '*Y' : (the iMac X's main user account) : Read & Write
    staff : (Administrator accounts on iMac X) : Read only
    everyone : : Read only
    A pretty manual fix to this problem is walking to iMacX" and changing the
    sharing & permissions - preferences of the newly created file or folder so that iMacX"
    will also be able to Read & Write this newly created file or folder.
    Does anyone know a better fix for my problem? Basicly I want to have Read & Write
    sharing & permissions on the newly created file or folder for both iMac's,
    not only the for the file or folder creator's iMac. And this without having to change
    sharing & permissions - preferences of this newly created file or folder manually
    each time.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vincent Verheyen.

    Hi all,
    I have found a thread wich i think also handles about my problem.
    The standard sharing & permissions - preferences or privileges
    can be changed apparently, this seems to have got something to do
    with umask and changing this umask. The adress is the following:
    *http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20031211073631814*
    Other ways to change the above-mentioned umask may be
    applications like SharePoints, TinkerTool or BatChMod.
    All of them are also mentioned in the above-mentioned thread.
    I haven't executed the solution as mentioned in the above-mentioned
    thread yet, replies to the thread speak about insecurity and failures.
    Further more I haven't found any other solutions to my problem,
    so any help is still greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vincent Verheyen.

  • Problem uploading newly created page on to my Internet sit.

    Using DW MX I created a new page using an existing page,

  • Problem accessing ejb from servlet

    Hi,
    I'm aving a problem accessing a stateful session bean from a servlet. I'm using a jndi lookup to do it because I need that a client has its own bean reference...
    My code into the service method is:
    InitialContext ctx;
    try {
    ctx = new InitialContext();
    carrelloService = (CarrelloLocal)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/Carrello");
    and I have a reference to EJB into web.xml:
    <ejb-local-ref>
    <ejb-ref-name>ejb/Carrello</ejb-ref-name>
    <ejb-ref-type>Session</ejb-ref-type>
    <local-home></local-home>
    <local>carrello.model.CarrelloLocal</local>
    </ejb-local-ref>
    If I use @EJB annotation to inject the servlet, it works fine.
    Instead using jndi lookup throws a NamingException because it doesn't find java:comp/env/ejb/Carrello entry.
    Any idea about the problem?

    Here's something simple that I have that works:

  • Problem accessing dynamically created table line

    Hi everyone.
    I'm unable to solve the following problem:
    In an offline scenario I have a table which contains one line at creation time. The form offers a button to add lines to the table using javascript and the instanceManager of the table.
    If the added lines are beeing filled by the user I can extract that data without a problem.
    But I cannot acces the newly generated fields with java script.
    I'm not sure, what the problem is. Here is the code, which should do the job:
    xfa.resolveNode("xfa.form.data.Inhalt.CONTACTS.DATA.NAMEV[" + position + "]").rawValue = 'Andreas';
    This works fine, for the table line, that exists right from the beginning(position = 0), but not for any added line.
    I keep getting this error: xfa.resolveNode("xfa.form.data.Inhalt.CONTACTS.DATA.NAMEV[" + position + "]") has no properties
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks for any hints,
    Andreas.

    Solved the problem now and it was fairly easy looking at it now.
    I don't know, why the above mentioned adressing does not work, but it works like this:
    var tab = xfa.resolveNodes("xfa.form.data.Inhalt.CONTACTS.DATA[*]");
    // get the last position
    var last = xfa.resolveNodes("xfa.form.data.Inhalt.CONTACTS.DATA[*]").length - 1;
    // fill values
    tab.item(last).NAME1.rawValue = "Andreas";

  • Cannot access newly created Apple id on iTunes/App store

    I just created an Apple id while setting up my new iPad. It setup the account with an iCloud address. When I tried logging into the App store with those account details, it asked me to review my account information since its a first-time user account.
    Now, this is where the problem actually begins. I understand that I need to add my billing information when I press Review. But, the iPad gives an error saying 'Cannot connect to the iTunes Store'.
    So, I tried signing in through iTunes on my computer where it asks me to review the account information again. On iTunes, it shows an error, 'We could not complete your iTunes store request. The network connection was reset. Make sure your network connection is active and try again.'
    My internet connection is very much active. So I wonder what exactly is causing this problem. Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    My ID is over 6 years old, and I can't do anything on the itunes store today. Can't download updates from the App store, can't buy songs, can't turn itunes match on or off, can't sign in or out. Over 12 hours of trying today. Something is messed up with the store.

  • Problem with newly created CM Repository NOT showing in Repositories Link

    I am new to the Portal and this is the first time that I have created a CM Respository that is reaching out to a network drive (on a different domain and different server, our Platform is Windows).  Here is what I have done so far...
    1.  Created a Windows file share
    2.  Configured a new CM Respository Manager (Persistence Mode FSDB)
    I did the setup via System Administration, System Configuration, Knowledge Management, Content Management, Repository Managers, CM Repository.
    It said it was created successfully but when I go into System Administration, System Configuration, Knowledge Management and then click on the link for "Repositories" (in the 3rd level navigation) it does not show up?
    I restarted the service and still no luck...
    How do I troubleshoot this???  I am not sure where to begin.  Please be very detailed as this stuff is new to me.
    Thanks,
    Tom

    I tried that and still no luck.  Here is the interesting thing:
    - If I change the DataBase mode to "DB", I get a green light in the monitor and it shows up properly within the Repository.
    - If I change the Database mode to "FSDB, I get a Red light in the monitor and it shows and incorrect path
          "Startup Error: could not create directory:
    172.xx.x.xx\folders\Root\Versions\versions"
          My actual path for "Root Directory" is "//172.xx.x.xx/folders/Root"
          The IP address is correct but where is the rest of this path coming from???
    - If I change the Database mode to DBFS, I get a Red light in the monitor and it shows an incorrect path
          "Startup Error: folder
    172.xx.x.xx\folders\Root does not exist"
          My actual path for "Root Directory" is "//172.xx.x.xx/folders/Root"
          The folder does actually exist.
    So confused...

  • How to Apply a Newly Created Access Policy on Existing Users in OIM????????

    How to Apply a Newly Created Access Policy on Existing Users in OIM?
    When the rule is getting failed the user is getting removed from the group but resource is not getting revoked. This is happening only for the old uses..for the users which i created now it working fine..i mean its resource is getting revoked.
    (Retrofit access policy" is checked on the Access Policyand Revoke if not longer applied is checked.)
    For the old users i see the POl_Key is null, for new users i see a value '10'. So i updated the pol_key for old users same as it got generated for new users '10'.
    i even updated the form version too but still revoke doesn't work.
    I cant go for the below approach..
    In order to apply a newly created Access Policy on existing users, one has to make sure that:
    1) "Retrofit access policy" is checked on the Access Policy.
    2) Then run the "Set User Provisioned Date" Schedule task to apply the Access Policy on the existing users in OIM.
    Note: After 9.1.0.1 BP03 the access policy execution has been moved to a new scheduled task "Evaluate User Policies" as mentioned inDocument 839368.1 :How to Use Access Policies to Provision with Groups.
    Is there any other approach i can try.. if you have any idea please reply me asap
    Thanks..

    Thanks for the reply kevin..
    We decided to try the Schedule task (Set User Provisioned Date).
    But i see one problem here after seeing this post in metalik --> Can Access Policies Manage The Life-cycle Of Users Created via Reconciliation? [ID 1136540.1]
    According to this post Access Policies framework does not manage users who are obtained either through trusted reconciliation or target reconciliation.
    Is there any custom way to achieve this??
    How does the access policy framework revoke resource work? (revoke if no longer applies)??

    Bryan -
    It looks like you tried <cm:printProperty>, when the tag is actually
    <cm:printproperty>. Tag names and parameters are case-sensitive.

    Hi,
    I am trying to understand how WLS 7.0 secures a call to an MBean. Got
    the following
    scenario:
    - I am in a servlet context
    - I have created and registered an MBean with the WLS MBeanServer. Fine
    so far
    - Within the same call I can retrieve the MBean attributes. Fine so far
    - I keep the MBeanServer reference in an object global to the servlet
    context
    The problem:
    - When I do another request and try to use the cached MBeanServer
    instance to
    access the MBean, I get the following error:
    weblogic.management.NoAccessRuntimeException: Access not allowed for
    subject:
    principals=[], on ResourceType ...
    Any idea?
    Alain

    AlainWhat ResourceType are you trying to access. From the Exception you're
    trying to access it as an Anonymous user (principals=[]) and evidently
    you're attempting to access something that is protected. I can't tell
    what
    from the snippet you've included.

    Thanks Paul for your reply.
    You are right. I can access my custom MBeans if I am authenticated for example
    as an Administrator. My problem is that I want any application to access this
    MBean authenticated or not. I am trying to find how I could grant permission to
    this MBean to everyone. Still searching.
    Thanks.
