Problem after Jena Patch

I have just applied the Jena patch for 11g and I am now having trouble with the BatchLoader. The output from my batch command is:
Note: You can use JVM properties -Ddb.user=<user> -Ddb.password=<password> -Ddb.host=<host> -Ddb.sid=<sid> -Ddb.port=<port> to configure database connection.
JVM property -Dappend=true can be used to specify APPEND mode. By default, this option is false.

I have tried dropping and re-creating all sorts of things, but I've stopped shy of dropping and re-creating the MDSYS user. Any thoughts on the cause of this problem?

First more details on the location of the 11g patch:
The patch is available on the Oracle Semantic Technologies page, it is just not labeled accurately (we are fixing that). Please go to http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/semantic_technologies/index.html, click on 'software' in the right column, and then click on 'Download the Patch for Oracle Database 11gR1'. This patch is listed under the Oracle Jena Adaptor, and is also the general patch that can be used for 11g, including for using 11g with TopBraid Composer.
I apologize for the delayed reply.
Second, you could try the following, and the re-try the batch load:
connect as mdsys
exec sdo_rdf.cleanup_batch_load(<name_of_table_containing_triple_column>)
If you are using Oracle11g, may I ask why you are not using the bulk loader? That will be faster. (see section 1.7 in the Oracle 11g Semantic Technologies documentation).

here is the problem
we recently applied patch 5 for CM on EP 6.0 SP2
the portal platform is at patch 27.
after having applied the patch the logs indicated that the upgrade sequence completed successfully.
however after we restarted the portal and logged back in none of the KM repositories are accessible. it just says not found / is not accessible or is not available.
under system admin when we go into Content Management Configuration it says invalid Repository Managers.
i have reset the SAPWCM user password and check the connection pool settings but still nuthin.
i have checked the cm.properties and config_local.properties files. however i have no document to compare what the correct format of the entries in these files is. i know they are supposed to have identical entries.
can somebody help?

I had the same problems after patching CM. I had to re-enter the WCM password of the 3 CM Conenction Pools in the CM Configuration under "jdbc connection pools".

HTTP Sender Adapter Strange Problem After SP16 Patch!!!

Hi,
after upgrading to XI SP 16 I'm no longer able to create HTTP Sender Adapter based Communication Channels. I can create a Receiver Adapter but no Sender since the Sender button is greyed out in the UI. Does anybody have an Idea what could be the problem here?

As stated by bhavesh you cant have a sender http adapter, infact there is no need to have it.
If you want topost message to the integration engine using http protocol,you can directly send the xml message to the pipeline url of the integration engine.

System problems after applying patches

Hi all,
I was patching our netweaver 2004s system and now I am not able to use any transaction anymore.
First I updated the Abapkernel and the SPAM itself. Then I started applying the Abap support packages. I had no problem applying patch level 7 and 8. When I imported patchlevel 9, the system did not respond anymore. Every time I tried to execute a transaction I got a shortdump.
Do you have any idea what could be the problem?
We restored the system and now I got a similar error already when updating SPAM.

Problems after installing patch 108993-18 (ldap2 for solaris 8)

I�ve been struggling to get SSL to work in a solaris 8 as a client (pam_ldap)
I tried to use padl.com�s pam_ldap, but for some reason i couldn�t get it to work (always get a segmentation fault error). Yes, I can use ldapsearch on the server with SSL.
But then i heard that Sun had released this new patch that would do what I wanted >> to connect solaris 8 as a ssl-enabled client. (108993-18)
I checked if I had all the requisited patches, installed the patch and rebooted.
The good news is that i had no problem during the installation proccess. The bad news is that I can�t start the machine properly now! :( It just starts, then freezes and it stands there, before loading CDE.
from what I found, the problem seems to be coming from /var/ldap/ldap_client_file. Has the format of this file been altered in some way? I checked the readme but couldn�t find anything about it.

Problems after applying patches - please help

i've just applied some patches last week to one of my CF servers (CF 8.01 on SBS 2003). I followed the instructions and didnt really have any issues i noticed until yesterday. The debugging output on screen is gone, replaced by a 500 error and a ton of error codes like this:

First of all you might have taken backup of files before applying patches. If yes then please replace them first to stabilize it. Once that is done then apply patches one by one and test it before applying other one. That should help and identify the issue if there is any.

And when send and email, with a user with a name containing extented characters like (eg: ç or é), the sender is not displayed properly when the email is recieved.
we have : iso-8859-1?Q?=22Qu=E7entin_DUBOIS=22?= =?us-ascii?Q?= ...
in place of a real name
does anyone knows how to manage that ??

Management console problem after installing recommended patch cluster

Hello everyone.
I just got a new SUN 440 server, it didn't come with the solaris os installed and so I installed solaris 9 12/03 to it. The installation went fine and I could start the management console with no problems at all. Then I went to sunsolve.sun.com to download the latest recommended patch clusters for solaris 9 (this was yesterday Sept.-06-2006), I downloaded the file, checked it with md5sum, unzipped it, went to single user mode and ran the install_patch script. After the patch cluster finished installing I rebooted the server for the patches to take effect, I logged in, tried to run console management 2.1 and it starts OK but I cannot use any services it offers because it says (in the console events):
"Server Not Running: no solaris management console server was available on the specified server. Please ensure there is a Solaris Management Console server available on the specified host and that it is running"
When I click on "See Exception" I get (for a particular service that is... in this case com.sun.admin.fsmgr.client.VFsMgr - for managing file systems):

I already checked that the service is running on port 898 and it seems that there is no other app. using that same port. I also restarted the service using /etc/init.d.init stop/status/start but I get the same results.

Java desktop problem after patch 118870-01 install

FYI
Java desktop stopped functioning properly after the installation of patch 118870-01, part of the recommended patch cluster.
Symptoms included no longer being able to launch mozilla, and upon reboot, no longer being able to login to java desktop.
patchrm 118870-01 fixed the problem.

Found that patch 119593-01 also appears to be causing the problem, along with patch 118870-01.

Link problem after 3.0.9.8.4 patch

Hello,
there is another problem, after applying 3.0.9.8.4 patch on my portal. Link in reports doesn't work properly - before it works well, but now with the new version the link doesn't send parameters (it can be seen in URL) - but it should. I set link and the report properly, as i set many times before.
Is it another bug after patch 3.0.9.8.4 on MS WIN, or did I something wrong? Has anyone an idea how to avoid problems ? Will there be patches in few days ? If not, so what can I do, reinstall patch, what was correctly apllied, or reinstal whole portal ?
Any help would be appreciated.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT SOLVED.
I used report.
1) SQL query

2) give to one of the table's columns a link, then click to assign parameters - it is ALL OK.
------BUT----------

select [only a few columns from table] from table@dblink
2) give to one of the table's columns a link, then click to assign parameters. When I populate the window to assign values to parameters from link, there are filled LOVs and when i set them, they reset again after I click APPLY buton - AND ---> that is more important THE LINK DOESN'T SEND PARAMETERS AT ALL. (can be seen in page source -html)
it all worked before 30984. I'm angry because this week my work stopped and I have to solve this kind of problems, which haven't end.
Can somebody asure me, that there will be patch soon - in few days, or I should reinstall whole portal ? Or is a workaround here ?

Import/Export problems after patching oracle from 9.2.0.1 to 9.2.0.5

Hi, After I applied the 5 patch to oracle 9201 on Win XP the export utility has started to complain about
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 942 encountered
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
EXP-00024: Export views not installed, please notify your DBA

And after I applied catexp.sql script, it didn't fix the issue with export, the error message has become like this:

I have upgraded convergence with patch 137632-09 but I have much error as below:
1.     File Attachment icon not working while composing mail.
2.     Clicking on To, cc bcc; address book is not open, while pointer symbol change as hand shape.
3.     Clicking on Create Link icon while composing mail, it create link top of window instead of current location in compose windows.
4.     In spell check box- any button such as replace, replace all, ignore, ignore all, cancel etc. not working.
5.     Creating group is not working. Other button (all, create group, cancel etc) not working
6.     After importing address it does not overwrite existing entries
7.     In Address book Edit button not working
8.     To change password, while clicking on Save Preference it show popup box with error message : Invalid Request one or more parameter is missing
9.     In Global General option, convergence startup first time showing undefined parameter. After changing it with another parameter undefined become disappear.
10.     In mail General option while clicking on any select button it automatically redirected to home page.
11.     Clicking on mail filter option button like New Filter,etc it redirected to home page.
12.     Clicking on Subscribe to Folder option it show error message popup: WMAP protocol error, invalid compact WMAP response.
13.     If spell check is on it stop sending mail without checking spelling and any button are not working
Please suggest any stable convergence patches or help me in changing parameter if required as per above problem in messaging end.

Does this occur every time you test (for all users etc.)?
Did you try to use a new password that had any non-alphanumeric characters?

Serious problem after install 126670-01 patch

Hi!
After install the 126670-01 patch (who replace the file /kernel/drv/sparcv9/scsi_vhci) the system can not boot:
/kernel/drv/sparcv9/scsi_vhci: undefined symbol 'scsi_uscsi_alloc_and_copyin'
/kernel/drv/sparcv9/scsi_vhci: undefined symbol 'mdi_pi_kstat_create'
/kernel/drv/sparcv9/scsi_vhci: undefined symbol 'mdi_pi_kstat_exists'
/kernel/drv/sparcv9/scsi_vhci: undefined symbol 'scsi_uscsi_copyout_and_free'
/kernel/drv/sparcv9/scsi_vhci: undefined symbol 'scsi_uscsi_handle_cmd' I uses the smpatch update and shutdown -i 6 -g 0 -y to install this kind of patch.
The only required pacth (120011-14) was installed before...
This bloody patch breaks all the systems where was installed and the only solution was replace the file from other unpatched system (booting using the installation DVD).
If anybody have any idea about how fix this problem, thanks in advance....

I had almost the same problem after patching a Sunblade 100. After following Matt's link, I found out that we had patch 125081-16 installed.
I booted it off the net, mounted the root filesystem, and patchrm'd 125081-16.
A reboot reconfigure and the system was back up again.
Here was the exact error I had:

We are getting below error in BO 4.0 SP04 Web Intelligence report scheduling after security patch updates in windows server 2008 R2
while trying to invoke the method com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.IServer.getServerContext() of an object returned from com.businessobjects.rebean.wi.impl.services.DocumentInstanceManagementServiceImpl.getServer(com.businessobjects.sdk.core.context.IContext, com.businessobjects.rebean.wi.model.engine.IDocumentInstance)
We have reverted back security patch but still giving above scheduling problem in BO 4.0 SP04 WebI and we can view and refresh report.
Is there any way to fix the scheduling problem in BO 4.0 SP04 WebI?
