Problem After Upgrading LC server from 8.0.1 to 8.2
Hello All,
After much hurdles, i was successfully able to upgrade my LiveCycle server from 8.0.1 to 8.2. Everything in adminui is working fine. In workbench (both in 8.0 and 8.2) also i'm able to open the processes and can edit.
Now my problem is i'm not able to open the resources from 8.2 workbench. But from 8.0.1 workbench i can open the resources as usual. May i know why this is happening. I dont know why it is trying to open the files from local machine instead of opening it from the server repository when i try to open it from the 8.2 workbench.
I'm getting the following error.
What is the reason?

Hello Paul,
Which file you are talking about. If you are talking about the .PDF file on the resources; For that matter none of the pdfs are opening. All the pdfs are opening in workbench 8.0.1 but not in workbench 8.2.1. Some how the files are trying to point to the local drive when we try to open in workbench and gives the warning that i have posted. We even deleted the .metadata folder then deleted the connection, then recreated it. Then also the problem still persists.
Please let me know why this is happening

If I check the Registry for time resource it is taking from the DC
I manually compared the time between DC and Exchange and it is fine
Since the Exchange mailbox is virtual, I checked the time sync on VM-Ware tools and it is "unchecked"
Checked for group policy and do not find any specific to time sync.
Confirmed that Windows Time service is running
Suspecting a Operating system issue, tried to upgrade the other DAG
Even that node is displaying the same symptom and Issues
Tried to install RU1 on both nodes and that too did not fix the issue.
Checked with VM-Ware engineer and he said that every thing from VM-Ware end is fine

Problem:
Unable to initialize the Information Store service because the clocks on the client and server are skewed. This may be caused by a time change either in the client or the server, and may require a reboot of that computer. Verify that
your domain is properly configured and is currently online.
Solution:
Open a cmd prompt from the Exchange Server as administrator (right mouse click on the command prompt shortcut and select “Run as Administrator”)
Run this command
Net time \\ADServerName /Set
Restart the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service
*Important!! You have to restart the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology Service or this fix will not work.. I tried just starting the Information Store service after running the command it it still failed..
This worked for me and all is well on my exchange server.

IPhoto problem after upgrading to Leopard from Panther
I successfully (more or less) upgraded my 867 MHz G4 to Leopard from Panther earlier in the week. Now I find that every time I try to open iPhoto I get the message 'The application iPhoto quit unexpectedly.'
I have repaired permissions, restarted the computer and run Software Update- all to no avail. Any suggestions from anyone?

I'm having a problem with a dynamic populated parameter options on a report. I open the report up in XI (where the report was developed) and it works as expected. If I open up the same report up in 2008 the parameter fields aren't populating or correctly displaying. If recreate the report from scratch in 2008 they work fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix, that will allow me run an XI report correctly in 2008? ThanksLOV's need to be updated in CR 2008

Mail flow problem after upgrade from cu1 to sp1
I have update Exchange server 2013 CU1 to SP1 (CAS Role). After upgrade mail cannot flow. all the mail are stuck.
CAS server use to mail flow outside and receive from outside. but The problem is this CAS server mail flow not work after upgrade exchange server 2013 CU1 to SP1.
Please give suggest.
ThanksI didn't connect to queue viewer as because the version of exchange 2013 server are different. in the environment two CAS server and two Mailbox server. i just update one CAS server into SP1. and another CAS in CU3. Mailbox 01 is CU3 and Mailbox 02 is CU
1. So their is version difference in the environment.
So, when i update CAS server to SP1. That server is not working for mail flow.

After upgrading to Lion from Snow Leopard, mail server does not receive incoming email
After upgrading my server last night [2011.07.20] from Snow Leopard to Lion, my mail server settings went belly up. After toying around with the server, its certificates and what-not, I was able to get it running, but it is no longer receiving any emails [neither internally nor from Gmail, Yahoo, etc.].
I can send emails via SMTP just fine [using SSL] to external email accounts [and it doesn't complain when I address an email to an internal email account, but I can't verify that it's sending it to the internal email account because it won't receive!].
The Connection Doctor says that it is indeed connecting properly to the server [incoming = IMAP, outgoing = SMTP], so there is communication between Mail 5.0 [and also Thunderbird as well] and the mail server. The problem appears to be the mail server not receiving any emails - from internal or external addresses.
Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix for it?
Thanks!Did you find a solution to this issue? My mail server is doing the same thing. I've tried six migrations now, and have a couple of tickets open, but they all have issues. I have worked around all of them except the mail server problem.
I did some more digging; the problem appears to be that on a migrated server, it leaves all of your mail store in the old location, doesn't move it, and then doesn't appear to upgrade spam-assassin properly. The net effect is that the mail server gets the SMTP communication, tries to pass the message into spam assassin, and then it goes south.
I see errors like this littered in the logs:

I can see the server, I can choose the drive, but when try to open a folder the message on Finder is: You don't have permissions to see the content.
I already delete the key and try to connect again, but the problem persist. Already try change the ip from file server. Already try differents users. (admin, guest, etc...)
I have a windows server 2008 and a NAS working with SMB protocol. Both with the same problem.
That problem occurs only on Finder, if I try see the folder by Terminal, is possible to see my files.

Before installing, it would be prudent to make a backup copy of all of your important data or your entire current system. Either using, optical discs, USB flash drives or external hard drives.
This is too insure protection of your data in case something goes wrong with the install of OS X Mountain Lion.

Caldavd failing to start after upgrade to Server 3.2.1
This problem, caldavd not starting after upgrading to Server 3.2.1, is a variation on the theme of PostgresQL not starting. It too boils down to a postgres database not having been updated properly. Below are the steps needed to fix this problem:
sudo su -
# Change to the directory with the postgres database for the calendars and contacts
cd /Library/Server/Calendar\ and\ Contacts/Data/Database.xpg
# Disable caldavd for now

I need to note that my machine is on Yosemite (10.10.1) and I'm running Server 4.

Examine the log output.
The log talks about removing the backup_label file. When I do that the log says the following:

Hello, I have a problem after upgrade from 2007 to 8.81 PL 05.
Since we upgrade SAP, the layout changed.
For example, in a credit note if it has 3 lines, in the layout will appear 2 lines in a page and 1 in other page.
if the credit note has 4 lines, in the layout will appear 3 lines in a page and 1 in other page.
What could it be?

lines are not duplicated, they just printed on different pages:
- if doc has just 2 lines - printed form is good
- if doc has 3 items, two of them are printed on the first page, 3d - on the second page
- if doc has 4 items, 3 of them are printed on the first page, 4th - on the second page
When we are printing directly from the server everything is working fine. But printing from all Clients gives us this issue that is described above.
SAP re-installation for all users will take too much time. May be exist any other option that we can try?

ACTION TAKEN SO FAR :
1. Removed OWA virtual directories and recreated them again.
2. IIS has been reset.
3. Restarted the HUB/CAS server.

From your description, you can't access to OWA after upgrading Exchange server 2007 to SP3 rollup 13. Firstly, please locate to C:\ExchangeSetupLogs and make sure that it is a successful installation. If not, this issue often occurs.
If it is a successful upgrading, please follow the steps below for troubleshooting.
1. Open IIS Manager, click Default Web Site -> Authentication, make sure that Anonymous Authentication and Windows Authentication are enabled.
2. Click Default Web Site -> SSL Settings, check "Require SSL" and click Ignore.
3. Click Default Web Site -> HTTP Redirect, check Redirect (enter your
https://URL), check "Only redirect" box and Status code Found 302.
4. Expand Server Configuration -> Client Access ->double click owa ->Authentication tab. Check the Basic Authentication and check the Use forms-based authentication button Logon Format: Domain\user name.

Problems after upgrade bios to v4.3 - P67A-GD65
Hi to everybody,
I was having a problems after upgrade bios to v4.3 of my mainboard P67A-GD65.
After upgraded bios version (FW) its interface was changed and seemed better. also some specifiactions upgraded that i am now able to follow information of bios in my windows. with Control Center.
1) first of all after bios upgrade XMP memory section can only be enable şf ş choose OC geniue on. but with this my cpu warm till 98C degree. because i have only stock cpu cooler of intel.
in normal mode xmp can not be activated so that my memory that corsair vengeance dd3 1600mhz works at 1333mhz only.
Also there was information about what is new in this version of bios fw as:
- Enhanced PCI-E display card performance.
- Improved memory compatibility.
2) second problem that i have i wanted to turn cpu leds which were located above cpu slot blue leds. once i turn them off and it is ok. but when shutdown computer and restart it turn on itself.
so may be there have benn occured a problem that mb can not save edited settings correctly?
3) For last i could not find Winki 3 OS/linuz anywhere is there a link to it to integrate to my mb?

Problems after upgrade: Leopard to Leopard no longer works
My sister upgraded to Leopard on her iMac(c2d) to Leopard yesterday. Earlier in the day we were able to do video chats with a number of people(her machine Tiger to Fathers machine Leopard). However, since upgrading, we've experienced weird behavior for video chats. Basically in her window she won't see her image(the small one), and I don't see her at all. We've tested this out with a number of other iChat accounts and get the same results. Btw, all machines that are chatting with her are using Leopard. Also, all other forms/capabilities work: screen sharing, sharing of pictures, audio chats.
Anyone out there have similar problems after upgrading from Tiger to Leopard? I have done the usual adjustments of bandwidth and QT settings, as well as restarts. What else should I try?

nI finally resolved this problem: I think the issues/steps would be helpful for anyone who experiences iSight off or not working problems after upgrading to Leopard(then to 10.5.1) on a intel 20" iMac :
Problem:
-If you have an internal iSight on an iMac and your camera works fine in Tiger
-If you upgrade to Leopard
-If Chat camera doesn't show your image (iSight off) even though the green light is on
-You can see the other persons video on iChat
-Your friends can here you and you can share screens, files, etc.....everything but have them see you
These are the initial steps I took:
- Deleted the pLists(or stored preferences for the Application) described at the top of this thread
- Was told it might be slow internet connection so did various things: disconnected other computers, changed wireless to "G" only
- Specifically Opened of ports spec'd for Leopard on router (even though I hadn't needed to do this under Tiger)
- Tried chats with various people on various fast/slow networks
- Restarted all aspects of the network: router, wireless access point, computer
- Checked to see if the iSight was shown in 'System Profiler'. It was found in 'About This Mac->More Info->System Profiler->USB'
- Clicked Video icon in iChat Buddies window(to the right of your name) and coudn't see my image
- Opened 'PhotoBooth' and coudn't see my image(black screen)
- Opened iMovie and couldn't capture video via the iSight(black screen)
- Opened iChat->Preferences->Video and couldn't see my image
- Validated that 'Camera is Enabled' in iChat->Video->Camera is Enabled
If you are experiencing a similar problem with you built-in iSight, I would probably focus on the last 5 things that I did. What they showed me was that the iSight was just not capturing video even though it was capturing sound in 3 different applications.
The solution to iSight Off or iSight Not Responding or No Video is......reset your computer! I had thought my sister performed this but it turns out she hadn't. Here's the link to this procedure:

Very easy to do though: Power off computer and unplug all cables, including power cable for at least 15 seconds. Plug everything back in and power up the computer and retry clicking on the 'Video' icon next to your login name. If you see yourself then...problem is solved.
While I eventually found posts in several other forums, it took me the better part of a week. To try this simple step. I wish I had done so straight away. Oy. I guess I learned a lot about ports, speed etc.

After upgrading the database from 8.0.5 to 8.1.7 the database is not stable. After a few hours/days the oracle.exe service disappear without entering a message in the alertlog or the NT-eventlog. For the upgrade i used the standard Oracle tools.

Henk Smit.Thank you for describing the problems so well. I also have been going nuts trying to restore my Itunes Library to its original (or acceptable) condition. I have a 5th gen 30G Video with about 4250 songs on it. After downloading 7 I found that every song in my Library had been dulplicated or triplicated. Then, a day latr, when I had downloaded album art, I discovered that every other song in any album I had downloaded (from Itunes or my own cd)prior to perhaps version 5 or version 6 could not be found. Luckily, I had an generation 4 Ipod with the original Library and I was able to download that to my external harddrive. I have spending pointless, arduous hours pointing Itunes to the correct file. Its faster to re-download the CD. Of course, I can't do that for any music I had bought from Itunes directly. Its weird because the name of the song is in Itunes, just the file can't be found. And why every other file? When I go into earlier (6 and before)Itunes Libraries, the music files are missing from them. Where did they go? When I try to sync my Ipod with Itunes, it takes forever because Itunes is searching for the missing files. I have tried to ask Apple support directly but I have gotten no response. Very, very frustrating! Any headway with your problems? Lisa

Problems after upgrading to iTunes version 6

I've been going through the threads a lot since I have had problems after upgrading to iTunes v. 6. It looks like a lot of people have had the same issues, and I have tried some things that were recommended. After I upgraded, iTunes would not open. I tried:
1. deleting sidb file
2. doing the msconfig thing suggested in discussion boards
3. going into safe mode and deleting 4 and 6 letter weird files in DOS - I found 3 that I deleted
iTunes worked after this -- then I bought a song and it said my computer was not authorized, after I authorized computer (that never happened before), iTunes worked for about 15 more minutes and then closed down abruptly. I haven't been able to open it since.
I also downloaded Spybot search & destroy and that did not find anything. I am using McAfee, and have scanned for viruses with McAfee and AdAware.
Now, when I restart my computer, a bunch of windows pop up with Chinese/Japanese looking characters and say that device (I think) was not found. I seem to be able to use everything except iTunes and Quicktime. When I open the Task Manager, iPodService.exe and iTunesHelper.exe and qttask.exe are there, but when I click on Quicktime or iTunes the file flashes in Task Manager and then disappears.
I'm not sure where to go from here.
Any help would be apppreciated -- I'd like to be able to open iTunes!Hello,

I was able to get iTunes launched (with the help of Tech Support) in a very unsafe environment. I owe it to those who may need this after me. It will get you going, but you will be extremely vulnerable to internet virus assaults. Please do not use this approach, until you have exhausted every other available solution for your issue in the KB.
There are three Steps 1) Uninstall 2) Disble and 3) Reinstall.
UNISTALL Uninstall iTunes using Windows utility Add Remove Program available in Control Panel.
DISABLE Disable all third party System Services and Startup Items using using MSCONFIG utility as described in Service Document http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302538
RE-INSTALL Re-install iTunes6 + QT7. Launch it under the Selective Startup Option.
It worked ! You realize among other things at this point you have your Antivirus and Firewall disabled. When I started my computer in the Normal Startup Option, iTunes fails to work again. So I have ahead of me the long and ardous task of ruling out the service that is causing conflict with iTunes6. Then work with the software vendor to arrive at a solution.
This seems to have worked so far- I haven't started to go through ruling out what made iTunes not work; I also haven't tried to connect my iPod or burn a CD, so we'll see.

Can i set iPHOTO to manually sync?
Is there any way to set my sync options so that the phone doesn't automatically open iPhoto and sync it? I rarely have photos that need syncing -- so I'd rather do it manually. thanks.
