in 11g obi publisher, brusting the report in excel format. but does not display the runtime parameters on excel output file?

Problem in Download data into Excel File

Hi Friends,
I have one doubt on WDJ.
 I have got the data from the Back and display the data into Table UI Element. Depending upon po_status equals to OA Pending that time conf_Ship_date Column is Empty. That time we can Select All Checkbox Click on Download Button Excel file is not download. Why it not download? Conf_Ship_date Column is Empty. Conf_Ship_date Column is data available that time data download into Excel File.
My Req: if Conf_Ship_date Column is empty that time click on Download that data will download in to Excel. In Excel Conf_Ship_date Column will display in NULL or 00.00.0000 Like this also.
Code:ExcelEle.setConf_Shp_Date(StockEle.getConf_Shp_Date());
This means I am getting date from PoDetails_OutTab(StockEle)this node and add this date to PoDetails_ExcelData(ExcelEle) this node.Finally the date will available in PoDetails_ExcelData this node. By Using this node I will download data.
How to do this work?

For Example in Table 4 rows and 14 columns data is available. Select all check boxes click on download button total 4 rows and 14 columns data is downloaded.
Table 4 rows and 14 columns data is available. But in some cells data not available in that time I m getting null values from ECC System. That time I am not able to download.

Spread Sheet Couldn't be Imported, Spread Sheet couldn't be opened because it contains cells outside the boundaries of numbers. Has any one had this problem? It is an excel file that works fine on my mac.

When I try to import an excell file to numbers on my ipad i get an error message that says it cannot import the file or open the file because it contains cells outside the boundry of numbers. Any one have this problem. it is only one file that i have this problem with and it is an important one. I have no problem working on it with my mac and my excell for mac.

Number is limited to about 65000 cells so if your Excell spreadsheet is too large Numbers will choke. This is definitely one of the weaknesses. If you don't have Excel you can use LibreOffice which is free.

Problem in writing into the excel file using java code

I will be getting the data as a string and i am writing into the excel file. the problem is .if it has numeric values even now i will writing as a string data ,at this time i am getting the message in the excel file as "Number in the cell is formatted as text".
I need to remove this thru my code..but i can write only as a string .

Problems with Adapter module converting Excel file to XML

I have created an adapter moduel to convert the input excel file to XML and have deployed it. While testing we found that there is an extra empty record with empty elements added additionally. Can anyone help on this?

Problem repairing excel file in office 2010

Hello,
I have a problem with one of my excel file, I was working on file in excel and computer suddenly restarted due to electricity fluctuation. After computer restarted, I try to open the file but it gives error.
"Excel cannot open the file 'myfile.xlsx' because the file format or file extension in not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of file."
I try to repair the file using repair tool of Excel 2010 but it is useless. I also tried different software to recover corrupted excel file but all useless.
Does anyone has solution to make my file useful.

How to write a data type into an excel file?

What I am trying to do is to get some data from MS SQL then write into an excel file.

There is no problem to write into an excel file, however, after all data is imported, excel sheet treats the the integers or dates as Text format. The funny part is, after I double click one of the cells with an integer value, that cell's format will be changed to integer, same thing happens with the date type.
I am wondering if there is any way I can write an integer or whatever type into an excel file, which excel can recognize their own types instead of Text format. Thank you so much in advance.

Recovery a password protect excel file.

I have a password protected excel file and now it's corrupted and i can't open it. I tried to open_and_repair feature of excel2010 and different other stuffs, without success. I was wondering if there's a way to remove the password without opening the excel
files (i know the password). In this way maybe it'll be easier to repair the file. Is there a way to do this? What other things i could try?

Excel files in OC4J

Hi:
I have an application that has to load an excel file using an html index that points to a particular sheet in that file:
If i open the index.htm file, and try to open the excel file, it opens in the browser (Internet Explorer of course) with no problem; but that is when the file is pointing to the xls file in the local file system
But when i upload both files in my application, and load the index.htm file in a frameset and click over any of the links, instead of opening the xls file, it displays garbage like this

Sounds like the content type is not being set right by OC4J. I know we you are using Apache that you can set this when via the magic file. Are you using OC4J as standalone web server or are you using it as part of OAS and therefore are using Oracle HTTP Server (i.e. Apache)?

Problem while writing data on xls file using jxl API

I am getting problem while writing data on excel file using jxl api.
When i write data on file and all handles associated to the file are closed, file size increases but when i open the file nothing is written in it and when file is closed manually from excel window, file size decreased to its original that was before writing data.
here is code:

Err, I did help you. I did understand your problem; and I solved it for you. What was missing was that you apparently made no effort to understand what you were being told. Or even consider it. You just argued about it, as though you were the one with the solution, instead of the one whose code didn't work.
And the other thing that was missing was the part where you said 'thank you' to me for solving your problem. Somewhat more appropriate than biting the hand that fed you, frankly. I do this for nothing, on my own gas, and it's extremely irritating when people keep asking about problems I have already solved for them. I am entitled to discourage that. It's part of making them more efficient actually.
But it happens often enough that it also makes me think I'm just wasting my time. Probably I am.

Problem in uploading excel file

Problem in Attachning an Excel File in Email

Hello Everyone,
I have a problem which sends an email containing an excel as an attachment. However, if I check the excel file in the email, the filename is not properly defined, and there is an error stating that the format is not recognizable in excel format.

Object_hd_change (structure)
Contains the process to be done when SAP mail is marked for execution.
When the Execute Icon in the SAP mail is clicked the corresponding object is executed     vmtyp     D for dialog module
F for function module

     Acnam     Name of the object which is to be executed, like name of transaction/report
     Skips     X to execute first screen in background
     Objsns     Indicates sensitivity of the object.

Objparb
Table to hold information for mails to which a certain processing type is assigned. For a report or transaction with transfer of values to global memory, the table has to contain the parameters with relevant values. The memory id is taken from the first row. For a FM or dialog module, data in table will be transferred as table parameter msgdial     Name     For report or transaction with transfer of values to global memory, the field for first row should hold the name of the memory id used for export and the other rows should hold the parameter names. For FM or dialog module this field should hold the values as per the usage of the module
     Value     For report or transaction with transfer of values to global memory, the field for first row should remain empty and the other rows should hold values of the parameters. For FM or dialog module this field should hold the values as per the usage of the module
Receivers
Table to hold recipient details     Recnam     SAP login of the recipient. Append all the recipients to this table
     Sndcp     X for sending mail as a copy
     Sndex     X for sending as express document. This will prompt a logged on recipient saying that he or she has received an express mail

Contains object id of document created during send process

X indicates that document was sent to all recipients. Flag is not activated if sending fails in one or more cases

Too_much_receivers      Number of recipients is greater than number for which sender is authorised to send
Object_not_sent     Document was not delivered to any of the recipients
Object_not_exist     Document class specified does not exist or cannot be sent
Object_no_authorisation     Document could not be sent as one of the required authorisations does not exist
Parameter_error     Invalid combination of parameter values transferred to FM
X_error     Internal error occurred
Once all the parameters and table interfaces are properly filled, call the function module to send the SAP mail to the recipient inbox.
Care should be taken to report the status of execution of the function module to the user using one of the exceptions defined (refer function module pattern above)
Though SAP mail is a very robust method of interacting with users within SAP system, it is always good to receive email in Microsoft inbox. This also works like an additional notification to users in case they do not check SAP mail regularly. The next article covers sending E-mails using ABAP.
