Problem handing EOF (End of File)

Hello Everybody,
I am new to Labview and I want to read one text file and do some analysis on it. For the same I have developed one .vi which is marking error code4, which I believe has something to do with EOF.
I would appreciate if somebody can help me solving this problem.I have also attached the vi file I am using.
Thanks & regards
Janit

    Thank,s kanad.
    I already try it, but method "isBeforeFirst" and "isAfterLast" not found in javax.swing.Jbutton.
    i used Oracle Jdeveloper 10G or version 9.0.5.2 , choose swing/Jclient for ADF under the client tier node and then choose Empty Form Wizard to build an application based on the business components From Table.
    i use JMenuBar to create MDI Form.
    this is Master Application: JClientForm.java

  • ExtractValue Problem----- ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

    Dear Friend
    My system is now on this version
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
    PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
    CORE 9.2.0.3.0 Production
    TNS for Linux: Version 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
    earlier it was
    Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    CORE 9.2.0.1.0 Production
    TNS for Linux: Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
    I took the cold backup and restore in this version. after that my total system is working very fine, is very fast using than the previous. But only one SQL command is not working which is very urgent to solve
    when i am using this
    SELECT extractValue(value(t),'/produit/cod_pro') cod_pro
    FROM XMLTABLE X,
    TABLE ( xmlsequence (extract(XML_data,'/com/lProducts_list/produit'))) t;
    the table structure is
    SQL> desc XMLTABLE
    Name Null? Type
    DOC_ID NUMBER
    FILE_NAME VARCHAR2(100)
    FILE_DATE DATE
    XML_DATA XMLTYPE
    I got this error
    ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
    Please guide me what to do to resolve this problem
    Farhad

    The error, ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel, is a client driver error.
    The client driver simply says "hey, the database server process servicing me has torn down our communication channel!". The communication channel is usually a TCP socket connection.
    The client driver has no idea why. Thus you have to find the answer on the server.
    The usual cause of this communication channel being closed, is the Oracle server process servicing the client session, crashing.
    When an Oracle server process crashes, it does not tell the client. It usually writes an entry to the Oracle alert log, dump a trace file, and terminates. When terminating, it tears down any communication channels (TCP sockets) it may have opened.
    Therefore you must look in
    - the alert log file for an error message listing the crash (which will include the dump file name)
    - look at this trace dump file (which is difficult if you're not familiar with Oracle internals)
    - investigate the stack trace and error codes on Metalink (which often turns up the bug notes for this, plus any workarounds or available patches)
    Usually however, one should log these types of Oracle server errors as a TAR with Oracle Support.

  • Find actual %%EOF end of file

    I am trying to identify a PDF-file in a binary data stream.
    I realize a PDF starts with %PDF and ends with %%EOF, but since there can be multiple %%EOF markers in one file, how do I determine the actual file end?
    For technical reasons, I would prefer to follow the direction of the PDF, i.e., go from %PDF to %%EOF.
    Any comment is appreciated.

    Start at the end and work backwards.
    If you can not do that, then keep searching for the last %%EOF.

  • URGENT! End of file

    Good nigth!
    I have to do a job in what I have to read integer numbers from
    the standard input. When the user wants to finalize entering
    numbers, he indicates it with a EOF (end of file).
    I want to know how to do that. What is the representation of
    the EOF in java?
    I need some help urgent!
    Thanks a lot.
    Katia.

    So, here is the code...
    import java.io.*;
    public class LendoInteiros
    public static void main(String[] args)
         String linha = "";
         BufferedReader entrada = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
         try
         System.out.println("Entre com numeros inteiros: \n");
         for (int i=0; linha != null; i++)
         linha = entrada.readLine();
              System.out.println("Linha " + i +
              " Valor = " + Integer.valueOf(linha).intValue());
         catch (IOException e)
    System.err.println("Erro IO");
    Thanks.

  • How to solve this problem in shell script: unexpected end of file

    Hello,
    I need to connect to each databases listed in /etc/oratab and check which database is shutdown(or mounted-only) and which database is opened to accept connection. However, following shell script gives me this error message:
    $>./check_is_db_runing.sh
    ./check_is_db_runing.sh: line 39: syntax error: unexpected end of file
    Could anyone please help me to solve this problem, why the code (line 29 to 32) does not work in the LOOP? It works without the LOOP.
    Thanks in advance!!!

  • File Download results with corrupted file. End of File problem

    Hello
    I am tring to make a download program. I am tring to download an exe file from internet. Lets say the file in this website
    http://www.oldversion.com/download/winrar154.exe
    The part that helps me downloading is here, which is encapsulated with a "while" statement at an upper layer. So that code is a loop
                                 byte buffer[];
                                 if (size - downloaded > MAX_BUFFER_SIZE) {
                                     buffer = new byte[MAX_BUFFER_SIZE];
                                 } else {
                                     buffer = new byte[size - downloaded];
                                 // Read from server into buffer.
                                 int read = inFromServer.read(buffer);
                                 if (read == -1)
                                     break;
                                 // Writing buffer to file below that partBut when there is no bytes left to download, it doesn't understand that end of file reached. The inFromServer.read method must return -1 whenever it reaches to an end of file, but in my code it continues looping within my "while" statement because it doesn't understand end of file has came, read becames 0 after there is no bytes left to download. It doesn't see that end of file is reached. And when download ends, the exe that I made is not working. By the way since this is my homework I am restricted to use many java classes like starts with http or url, so you don't need to suggest them. Here is my debug results for my integer read in the code: 1024 1024 1024 ....................... 512 0 0 0 0 0 ......, So till the end of the file it continues as 1024 which is my default buffer size, and at the end it continues as 0.
    I would be happy if you help me.

    There's a terrible amount of rubbish in this thread.
    while(myStream.read(buffer) != -1){ //this will give the pretest you need for the eof.
    //your stuff.
    } This is rubbish because the return value isn't stored, so you don't know how much data was returned if EOS didn't occur.
    If you're getting reads of length 0... you must have a bug in your code. read() methods do not return zero except via NIO in non-blocking mode.
    if you get 10 0's in a rowYou can't even get one 0 in a row, see above.
    int read = inFromServer.read(buffer);
    if (read == 0)And again. This cannot occur.
    The correct way to download a file, or indeed copy any input stream, is as follows:
    int count;
    byte[] buffe r= new byte[8192]; // or more
    while ((count = in.read(buffer)) > 0)
      out.write(buffer, 0, count);
    out.close();
    in.close();

  • Remote Resources: "A problem with the system proxy caused the connection to fail: End of file"

    Hi, I am trying to use "Remote Resources" on the current version of the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Android app, I can input the webfeed and it even shows the apps that I have configured on the server for "Remote App", sadly whenever
    I try to load any of the RemoteApps, I receive an error stating " A problem with the system proxy caused the connection to fail. End of File".
    I don't know what I can do to fix this, I've tried many things to no avail, also, normal Remote Desktop connections from the Microsoft Android app work flawlessly to the server.

  • Major problem with Photoshop unexpected end of file...

    Every time I save a file in Photoshop, I have to save it twice per format (psd, jpg, etc...).  That's because if I've ever saved the file before, I get an unexpected end of file error and the file disappears until I do a save as.  I downloaded the latest update today and it claimed to have fixed major errors with Photoshop.  I wonder what major errors exactly were fixed; and why not this one?  As far as errors go, it's pretty effing major.  It adds significant time to all of my projects and frankly, if I'm spending exorbitant amounts of money for "industry-leading" software, I expect to be able to save my work painlessly.  Oh well, I guess it'll only be another couple months before I have to shell out another $1200 bucks for the CS6 right?  Maybe then I'll be able to actually save my work.
    p.s. CS2/3/4 did not have this issue - sweet upgrade Adobe, thanks.

    Again, this is not a known issue.   You are the first person to bring this up without a bad disk drive, and it is probably due to something on your file server.
    Yes, other people get the same error message - because they are dealing with corrupt files for one reason or another.  You are getting the message because the files are corrupt, probably because of an issue with your file server.
    Photoshop CS4 and earlier used the Carbon framework on MacOS.  Photoshop CS5 is written to the Cocoa framework/APIs and uses different OS code paths for many things.  We have seen many cases where the Cocoa APIs had problems that the Carbon APIs did not.  Unfortunately, if we cannot work around those API issues, then they are up to Apple to fix.
    But in this case, I doubt it is an OS API bug as such.  I suspect it is a change in the way the OS APIs interact with the file server.
    And cases like this are high up on the list of why we say NOT to open or save from a file server -- you can get a lot of odd, difficult to diagnose errors because of problems on the server or network.  Those problems have nothing to do with the application, but may appear to because of the complexity of file servers and networking.
    Some Photoshop users do open and save off a file server all the time - without problems.  When we test with file servers here inside Adobe, we rarely have problems (and the rare problem was due to a bad disk on the server).  But we can't guarantee that everyone's network and everyone's file server is going to work perfectly - and evidence suggests that many of them don't work perfectly.
    In short: you probably have a bad file server.  It is highly unlikely that this is a bug in Photoshop.

  • PE9 "unexpected end-of-file" problem

    After advice from Barbara I have been loading images into my new PE9 programme from the desktop. After a few successful edits I have failed to load an image (which originated from the internet and which I had placed in my picture folder). When saving it to desktop it appears without a jpg extension despite the fact that I added it to the file name. I get the error message:
    "Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered".
    Does anyone have a solution?
    Mickxx

    Since my last post I've tried the following. I moved one of the problem images into iPhoto and cropped it, then moved it back to a folder on the desktop. This new file now has a jpeg extension and can be opened in PE9!  So clearly my adding the jpeg extension to the original file didn't work for some reason.

  • Very strange bugs - Unexpected end-of-file - LR database problem

    I really like the concept and GUI of LR, but bugfixing is urgently needed. Of course I am not happy that I spent money for the current quality of software (Windows version).
    Before the problem described below occured I performed some develop actions on several images without any problems.
    After doing some simple cropping in the Develop module of LR the display for one single image became brown (in loupe and film strip). The problem is singular for one image.
    Then I restarted LR.
    Now LR displayed a message saying "Unexpected end-of-file" at top inside the image display. (Has anybody out there ever seen this?)
    That message is obviously misleading: The image NEF-file is untouched. The xmp sidecar is new of course. Apparently the database entry is broken!!!
    Deleting the xmp sidecar doesn't solve the problem.
    Then I told LR to remove the faulty image from the LR database without physically deleting it.
    Then I checked database consistency without any problem report.
    Then I tried to reconnect the image for that folder.
    The image is not reconnected. It doesn't show up in LR.
    Then I copied the image outside LR to a new folder and told LR to import the new folder.
    The image was not imported by LR. LR is saying it is a duplicate. Obviously it is not removed correctly from the LR database even I told LR to remove it.
    After some attempts (sorry I don't remember exactly) I could redisplay the problem image. Now the image is displayed correctly again. But LR is saying in a dialog box that I will be unable to make changes to that image. The grid display has a triangular exclamation sign (not a rectangular one!!!).
    Later I told LR to delete (not only remove) the image physically.
    Afterwards I copied the image into the OS folder.
    Afterwards I was able to reconnect the missing image to the LR folder.
    Afterwards I could continue working with the develop module at that image.
    BUG 1) Why could this problem occur at all? ("Unexpected end-of-file")
    BUG 2) Obviously the image has not been correctly removed from the LR database although I told LR to do this.
    No, my disks are not full.

    But, after that, when I try to open the database, from SRVMGR23,
    after the mounting, I receive the message:

  • Trying to install snow leopard on my Macbook Pro.  After already having problems with Grey screen, blinking file with a question mark, etc.  Computer now says that one of the hard drives is failing.The "hitachi" drive says it's failing in disc utility.

    o.k.  So, I've been tinkering with several "self help" fixes for several days now with no positive results.  I'll explain my initial problems and then end with my most current situation.  In hopes that someone out there will have a good suggestion or possibly remedy for the issues i'm facing
    First, my problem started after my wife played a game on my macbook pro and the computer froze.  She went into a panic and decided to shut down via power button.  When computer restarted she got the blinking file/grey screen and that problem continued for a couple of days before I began using steps from various support topics from apple concerning the grey screen/blinking file folder.
    Ultimately, yesterday I decided to erase my Macintosh HD file as one tip suggested.  Following the brief online and on screen (via the process) tips that were there.  Once that was completed I attempted to reinstall snow leopard (my most current version on hand) into the pc.
    At first, I thought this would work.  It looked promising.  But, after several hours the installation screen returned with failure.  I attempted to repeat.  And, even repair drives during this try and re-try process.
    Now, today, one of the drives..  "hitachi..." states that it's failing and is in red letters with no ability to repair via the disc utility screen.  The Macintosh HD drive shows that it's o.k. But, this drive is listed under the HItachi drive so I think that's where a problem might lay.
    So, I guess my question really revolves around.. What if anything can I do to get the hitachi drive back up?  (short of taking it to a repair facility and replacing.)
    And, how on earth can i get my OSX back up to I have a laptop again.
    Operating on a macbook pro here.  It's my lifeline.  Otherwise, I am using a Windows desktop that i'm not that fond of.  lol
    I'm trying to bring this 2006 laptop back to life.  Trying to avoid a rather expensive repair or the purchase of a new laptop.  Also expensive...
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Well, running on a 2006 model.  I did not have a startup disc.  Initially, it booted up on original software in 2006.  Since then, I've upgraded to 10.6 via a box set.  And, since then I think I popped it up to lion.
    All I have on a disc is snow leopard.  And, I can't get farther than the setup screen due to hard drive.  I'm taking to a apple authorized repair store right now.  We'll see what they tell me .  I'm just going to weigh the cost of repair vs. buying new.
    Another bad, stupid thing is I had no means of backing up my stuff.  So, I might have lost things like music, vids, etc.  we'll see if they can recover.  If the cost is too much for repair I might just forget it and start over with a new system.  Just not sure at this point.

  • Problem with RTPExport output video files

    Hi, I have a problem with RTPExport output video files. One side streams H263/RTP(AVTransmit2.java) and other write this steam to a file by RTPExport.java. When network conditions are ideal, output video file has same fps and same number of frames like original file. Problem occures, when theres packet lost in network, then output file has different fps,and also has less frames like original video(because it didnt write missing frames to file, and thats why it get shorter). Pls how can I achieve output file that will have the same fps like original one? How to write to file an identical copy of what I can see while receiveing video with AVReceive2.java? Its there a way to modifi rtpexport or avreceiver to do this? Thanks a lot!

    Trubka wrote:

Problem occures, when theres packet lost in network, then output file has different fps,and also has less frames like original video(because it didnt write missing frames to file, and thats why it get shorter). Okay, first off, the second file is smaller on purpose. RTP intentionally drops packets that are old/out of order in order to make sure real-time video stays as close to real time as it can. This is by design, so there's really nothing that can be done about it.
    How to write to file an identical copy of what I can see while receiveing video with AVReceive2.java? Technically speaking, what you're getting in the RTPExport is exactly what you got on the receiving end. Any frames that are dropped during transmission will not be seen by the receiver, nor saved by the receiver.
    Pls how can I achieve output file that will have the same fps like original one? I'm not 100% sure that you can, but, you can give the following idea a try. I make no guarentees that it'll work, but it should work for you...
    [http://java.sun.com/javase/technologies/desktop/media/jmf/2.1.1/solutions/RTPConnector.html]
    That example is an example of a "custom transport layer" for RTP connections. Essentially, it's some code that's handed the RTP packets on the transmission end, and it's expected to deliver those RTP packets on the other end. And it doesn't care about how they get from A to B, only that they do.
    If you were to replace the UDP socket in that example with a TCP socket, you would be guarenteed not to drop packets due to network reasons. Every RTP packet you were handed by the transmitter, you would then hand to the receiver. There is no guarentee that none of the packets would be cast away as "old" by the RTP protocol itself, but there's also no guarentee any of them would be. It's a crap-shoot at best, but it's certainly worth a try.
