when i am maintaining infotype 0581 and giving the amount , the system is giving the message "No automatic updation 0008, allowance grouping not found"

Hi Shweta,
Check for the allowance grouping of the employee (based on the PS type, PS group, PS area, PS level and ESG fpr CAP) and check if a wage type exist in V_TINA9 for the allowance grouping of the employee.

Display Problem in Custom Infotype

Hello Experts,
A problem is being encountered in the display of data using the overview icon for a custom infotype. When we enter data through transaction PA30, we are able to see data as per the date validities when the user clicks on display icon. But when the Overview button is clicked, the data is not being displayed properly.
The following comments were logged with the following dates.
02.12.2007 31.12.9999 - Comment 1
14.11.2006 30.11.2006 - Comment 2
01.01.2006 13.11.2006 - Comment 3.
when the same is observed using Overview icon, data is not being diaplyed properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. The problem is in my Custom IT9005. The time constraint of the infotype is 2. I am using LSMW to upload data. I am not having any problem with loading data as of now, but its only wit the overview icon, its not updating properly.. Please help me with this. Thanks again for your response.

Problem with LSMW infotype 1950 recording

Hi !
When I use The LSMW recording facility to play in a PO10 Properties (HR infotype 1950) I get error in the process step when the pgm action to the =UPD command is to clear all the screens fields (pgm MP195000 screen 2000).
I see that when LSMW process step is running sets sy-datar to "X" when MP195000 screen 2000 is executing and then a clear step executes
....but it do not be the same with manually infotyp input by the same screens.
Can some one help me with this problem?

Problem in custom infotype module pool

Hi experts,
I have created custom infotype using PM01 where i am showing fields Basic and HRA. When I enter the value for Basic, automatically the calculation for HRa should be done depending on formula. Also, the HRA fields should be only output field. When I do the changes in the module pool PBO and regenerate the object , the changes I made get disappered. Do I have to create Z of the includes. If so, how to assign it to the infotype? Please help me to solve this problem since its urgent.

This is the flavour of Infotype.
When you regenerate the Infotype, you are again reassigning the Chanrecterstcis of your Infotype. so the Existing will get regenerated with the Standard Code.
To avoid this what I suggest you is.
After finishing the Regeneration then edit the Module pool of the Infotype basically Screen 200 then add your code and Activate it there itself. Hope you got it.
If you again Regenerate it you loose your Code.

Problem inserting in Infotype 0002 using FM HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION

Im having some trouble uploading data to the PA0002 infotype table. In my program , I upload all the information from a txt file. In this file, every line correponds to an entry of the table.
To do this, I use the SPLIT sentence to insert in a pa0002 structure, all the values that come from the file line. After that, I use the HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION to insert the data.
This works for almost all the tests i made, except for one case: when I have to pass the P0002-ANZKD (number of children) field to the FM.
The problem here is that when I call the function module the value seems to be correct. But when I make a debug inside the FM, i noticed that this value is not displayed correctly when the FM makes the move operation to insert this value in the corresponding FVAL field for the PROPOSED_VALUES table. Also, all the values going after this field are not represented correctly in the PROPOSED_VALUES table.
P0002-ANZKD is a DEC type field, so to make it work with SPLIT, i had to specify ANZKD as a type c field in my structure (everything else is as equal as P0002). And I also tried uploading the data, first to my structure and later I make a MOVE-CORRESPONDING to an exact P0002 structure, but I get the same result in this case too .
Does anybody now how can solve this issue?

Hi,
I've managed to solve the problem. Changing the size of the anzkd field of my structure (greather than 3) and then passing all the values to a p0002 stucture, gave me the opportunity to upload succesfully the data into pa0002 with the FM.

Problem in custom infotype.

Hi friends,
I have two problem on creating custom infotype 9010.
The infotype has 4 field:
docu_type -> subtype field
Docu_number
cost -> DE:WAERS
cost_curr -> DT: Curr length 10 dec 2
I referred the cost to the cost_curr field of the infotype 9010
First Problem
The infotype is created but when I tried to enter the cost via pa30
put 50 on it, and press enter, 50 will be changed into 5000. But when I re-enter again, the ammount remained unchanged.
2nd Problem.
For the infotype i need to give a further information on the screen.
Such as that, it looks like the screen on IT0022 where when you put the educational establishment, the text of the subtype appears beside it. How do I suppose to do things like that with my infotype so that when I enter 4 as the subtype field, the subtype text appears.

what is the reference field u have given for the currency of ur 9010 table .. just check the reference field u have given for currency ..
how are u handling this in the pai part of the code , can u just make the field pass to a char field and then reassign it to the screen field .. for primary investigation.

u need to maintain a field just adjacent field in the layout as ouput field only . and populate this field with the suitable text once u enter the subtype field which is input field .
this u need to do in the pai part of the infotype mp901000 code ..
if p-styp is not initial .. "subtype is present fire the text part .

Problem in custom infotype --urgent

Dear Freinds,
i have create a custom infotype , iam facing one problem when i say
create and enter into the screen, and if the user doesnt do any change any thing
in the screen (i.e if he is not performing any changes in the screen) and hits
the button back , it is asking do you want to save. Please let me know why it is behaving in this way.

i have created the custom infotype..........while testing i have found that
if i am creating a new record and we dont select any record in the infotype
and try to exit (by clicking X button) then a popup button is coming for a confirmation do you want to save the record.......here i have not select any field
after me pressing F5 (create) in PA30 . So now if say yes it saves record , if no
then it exists out of infotype without saving............this should not come like this
please let me know what i should do in this regard.
however--- if enter begda and endda it is saving on the dates i have entered...so it will be new record only...........it gets delimited ...as begda and endda or not defaulted.

Problem creating PD infotype

Initially I tried creating PD infotype by creating the structure HRI9005 and then going to PPCI to create custom infotype. Due to some reason , I had to delete all objects from the requests . When I tried to create it the next time , it is throwing me error messages as Structure p9005 does not exist, table hrp9005 does not exist . Is it something to do with my previous deletions . Any suggesions to overcome this problem would be highly appreciated

Problem During maintaining Infotype 8 in tcode PA30

hi all,
i have different PS group for employees like OFFICER and EXECUTIVE and when i m creating the IT 8 then i select group as OFFICER and then it pics the wage type '1001', '1004', '1013' and '1016' automaticaly but problem is that when i select group as EXECUTIVE then it pics nothing automatically.
can anyone please tell me what is the prob and how can i remove it?

Updation problem in custom infotypes.

HI ALL,
I have created two custom infotypes, and the process is that one infotype updates the other infotype.
When i open the first infotype by pa30 and then open the second and changes some value which update the first infotype table. now when i go to first info type it shows the old value. untill i exit pa30 and start again then it shows the updated values. what is the solution for this.

It is becasue of PAI and PBO module itterations.
Go to the custom related program created with that infotype and insert your logic to clear the field contents.

Before calling transaction PPCI you need to create the HRC9XXX structure via SE11.
Then you can carry on to PPCI - Create.
When you have the log of tables to be maintained, please make sure you have updated the tables T777I, T777D, T770A

Problem with OM infotype

I have a problema with the IT1222 (General Attribute Maint.) in OM (Po10). I have configured it in SPRO with a new sutype (9104) and this subtype with 2 attributes in the table T77OMATTR.
Well, all is working, but I need that those attributes gets inherited to the objects (organizational units) that has a relationship in a lower level to the main organizational unit.

Problem updating the infotype 1208 subtype ALUM

Hi,
My requirement is to update the infotype 1208 subtype ALUM with the Value "YES" when I terminate a employee in PA40. ( immediately).
I am using the FM - HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION which doesn't seem to work.
I tried running a BDC for PA30 , but it is not allowing me to edit the employee and says that i am processing him.
I feel this is an issue with locks. But not sure about how to go with.
Are there any standard classes available or any other method to use to update this infotype while terminating.

Problem in customize infotype data for save

Hi experts,
specially for ABAP-hr guys.....Can u pls help me in providing me the correct solution for the below:
I had created the new infotype with table control now i have to save this table control value means list box value or check box value which is been inside the table control.How i save these values in the table .
Shall I have to write the query for Insert the data in infotype or some other way.Because if i take the only fields in the infotype insted of table control no need to write the query statement.
How can i achive this pls help me.

Hi,
Just remember one thing never ever fire any SQL query (Inset,Delete,Update) on infotypes it can cause havoc.
to maintain infotypes SAP has given few standard function modules. use HR-INFOTYPE-OPERATION to maintain infotype data.
you can also use BDCs and LSMWs to upload data as well but never a quey unless if u dnt have ne other options and u knw exact impacts of the same.
