Problem in adding a new element having attribute & many children for XML(jd
I m creating a new element <row id="1" > & many childrens & similar new elements with increment id are created.
And this is added to a tag 'data'
But after creating when i m iterating thru' the elements of the node 'data', for the new elements which i have created, if i try to set a new value for any of the chidren of 'row' tag, the value is getting set for all other newly created elements

Problem in adding the new column in VO : ADF

I am using jdev 10.1.3.2 with ADF.
I added a new column in a table in the database. In my ADF application, I right clicked on the entity object of the changed table, and selected ‘Synchronize with DB’ which added the new column in the entity object also.
I had a jsp which uses this view object’s (VO). I had to change the VO also to add this new column.
After all this, in the jsp page, I dragged and dropped this new column as an input text field.
But while running this page, the field is empty. Also when I drag and drop it, this field doesn’t have the ‘id’ attribute.
Below is the code. Please let me know how I can fix this issue.

Please check if the object on the page is bound to the same iterator as the other components. Sometimes dragging and dropping new attributes makes JDev create a new iterator, and the two iterators will not be in sync.
You can check this in the pageDef file and correct any strange things you may find.

Adding a new field to the Address Data for a business partner
Hi Experts,
I am trying to add a new custom field to the address data (all structures and tables) that is linked to a business partner on SAP CRM via EEWB. Structure is the address structure wthin BUS_EI_EXTERN. Table is BUT020. I have been told that it is not possible as there is no Business Object that allows this. When doing an EEWB, the only business object is BUPA, which when selected, adds the new custom field to BUT000. I would like the field to be added to BUT020 (Address Table). This leads me to believe that there is no standard way of doing this, which ultimatley means that it would need to be done manually. Please help me with this predicament.

YusufThe search help exit allows you to modify functionality of search help. If you add a new field to the
parameter list that is not contained on the selection method you can manually populate it within the search
help exit.
This would be performed within the u2018STEP DISPu2019 section. Once within this section all search help
data has been retrieved and is stored in table RECORD_TAB (record_tab-string) as one long string value.
Therefore you need to read table SHLP in-order to locate position of value within string.
Example:
To find position of personnel number (PERNR) within elemenory search
help M_PREMN you would use the following code:
Loop at record_tab.
read table shlp-fielddescr into wa_shlp
with key tabname = 'M_PREMN'
fieldname = 'PERNR'.
You could then use this information in the following way, for

New line markers in template preparing for XML import
How can I put new line markers (called static texts), in a template, preparing it for XML import, so that I get one line per object?
I have put normal TAB characters as "static texts" as the InDesign help file shows, between the tagged placeholder texts. But all texts come out on one line when I enable the white space in the template to be kept when importing.

AndreasAre you sure, that the nl characters are deleted?
They are usually not shown in the XML display.
You can also use an adapter module instead of a Java mapping. So you can do a split in mapping, but the conversion to the flat file in the adapter module. If you have already a Java mapping for this purpose, you can easily create an adapter module based on that Java code.

Problem with adding a new row in JTable
Hi,
I've created a JTable using DefaultTableModel with DefaultTableModel(Object[][] obj,Object[] col) constructor.I've written actionListener for a JButton which should add new row to the tablemodel.Now, the listener adds the row to the model.But its throwing an ArrayOutofBoundsException and the added row is not visible unless I click on any column of the table.
Kindly help me to resolve this problem

Problem in adding a new row in a table.. plsss hlppp

I have a table defaulted to 4 rows. I have a add button to add a new row in the table.
When i have already 4 rows in table, and when i click add its adding that 5th row correctly( and i used set_lead_selection for this new row ).
But i want to automatically make a next page once i hit the ADD button here. Each time now i m hitting next page then only able to see hte 5th row. I need once ADD is clicked, i want to see the 5th row visible..
Can someone tell me how to code or do this

Problems with adding a new device in Common Services
Hello,
I have the following problem: I need to add a new device in my Cisco Works. What I do is I go to Common Services >> Device and Credentials >> Device Management. There I click "Add" and I add the new device with the corresponding credential set.
Then, in the RME >> Job Management >> RME Jobs I can see a new job created (
CDA:CDA job due to Device Add. ) because of this addition but this jobs stays always in status Running and it never finishes. Most probablt because of that this newly added device never actually appears in the RME so I cannot operate with it - deploy software, save configs, etc.
I did this test a few times and all the times this is the result.
I tought that it might be a firewall issue blocking some protocol needed for the communication, as SNMP, telnet or something else. But if I go to Decice Center and I select this newly added device (which there appears with the question mark icon, not with the right device icon) I can see all the information for it, like Detailed Device Report, etc.
Then I noticed that in the RME Jobs section I have some more jobs that are like running forever - "
CredEditCDA: CDA job due to Credential Edit".

So, my question is what might be the reason for this behaviour and what can I do in order to unblock these jobs and add my device normally?
What I use is:

first of all, have you intergrated lms with ACS ? - check in common services - server - security - single-server mgmt - local user policy setup.
If this is in ACS, check if the newly added devices is in ACS... Check if this devices is reflecting in common services itself...make sure that the device type is selected properly ???
Next do a snmp test in device center for this machine..how would you do this --" in device center, select the device, do a management to station and select the snmpv2 and ok it" you will get if snmp is failing or not...As you mentioned it is coming in question mark..this is because the correct device type is not selected in common services.
Do an update inventory & archive and check the status..

Problem while adding a new dimension in a existing cube with data in BW3.5

We are trying to create a new dimension with new characteristics in a existing cube. But while activating we are getting error that "InfoCube contains data; intentional changes not permitted". Can we add a new dimension in a existing cube with data in BW3.5? If it is not possible then we can take the backup and delete the data from cube and then change the cube. But my question is that, when we will transport the cube with changes to quality then will it transport successfully or same procedure needs to be done there as well.

Adding new infoobject /dimension to the cube containing data in 3.5 is not possible.
easier solution is create a new cube similar to old and add the new dimension and proceed.
else you have to drop data and transport.

I am trying to add a web service system in "NWA > SOA > Technical Configuration > System Connections > Provider Systems > New".
I have web service WSDL URL with me which is like: -

When I enter this URL in input field "WSIL URL" and click on "Next", I get error saying: -
"Cannot connect to https://webservicehostname:443/dswsbobje/qaawsservices/biws?WSDL=1&cuid=AfO9g_JmE0ZOiZzdvNtCbxg
HTTP Message : Unable to connect to webservicehostname:443 - Connection refused".

Now, it puzzles me that why & how it is appending colon & port number in the entered URL as protocol is already https?
Basis & network team is looking into connectivity related settings, but from my side, I wanted to answer/know why & how this port number is getting appended in entered URL and how to prevent it.
Any ideas/help please.

In WSDL URL and content itself, there is no port number specified as protocol used is https.

The problem is, after clicking on "Next", system is somehow inserting port number in between URL which it ideally should not as URL protocol is https.
