Problem in creating a CMP bean with MySql

Hi,
I am using lomboz eclipse, jboss 4.0.2, xdoclet 1.2.3 & DB as MySql 5.0. I am encountering a very strange problem when I try to create a CMP with MySql as DB. After entering relevant information about the datasource & testing the connection & finding it to be successful, I get the error in lomboz eclipse as : CMP has no attributes. Moreover, I donot even get the table names from the schema, that was given in the datasource, with which the mapping of my CMP will be done.
I tried using Oracle 9i. But to my wonder, I didnot experience this issue, as it gave me all the CMP atttributes mapped & also created the CMP with Oracle DB. Can anyone help me in getting this issue resloved with MySql DB?

Yeah, the DB User permissions are found to be ok, as the test connection was successfull. I have tried for MySql 4.1 & Myql 5.0, with their respective jars & driver classes. But the result was same. Test connection is successful, but when i hit the next button to see the CMP attributes, it doesnot give me the list of tables under that schema & says that CMP has no attributes. Please help.

Running a CMP EJB with MySql DB Connection Problem

I have created a CMP EJB in JDev connecting to a MySql table. I am able to see the connection in JDev just fine (everything is correctly configured for MySql). However, when I try to run it in the Embedded OC4J Server I get the following error:

Problem in creating client side PDF with image using flex and AlivePD

I need a favor I am creating client side PDF with image using flex and AlivePDF for a web based application. Images have been generated on that pdf but it is creating problem for large size images as half of the image disappeared from that pdf.I am taking the image inside a canvas . How do i control my images so that they come fit on that pdf file for any image size that i take.

I am having a similar and more serious problem. It takes a
long time to execute, but even attaching a small image balloons the
pdf to 6MB plus. After a few images it gets up to 20MB. These are
100k jpeg files being attached. The resulting PDF is too large to
email or process effectively. Does anyone know how to reduce

Problem when creating a sales order with reference by BAPI

I am facing one problem when creating Sales Order.
The scenario is like this while creating SO With reference to an Order type, a new SO will be automatically created with a diff order Type.
I am using "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2".
I am calling this BAPI in USEREXIT_REFRESH_DOCUMENT.
Am I using the right exit to call this Bapi ?
Problems are like :
1. Ref Sales Order creating without Sales Unit .
2. "Object Status does not exist" error msg is coming for Header and Item level(when clicking the status tab and then object status pushbutton). But if testing the bapi from SE37 in test sequence....no such problem persists.
As for example in case of sales unit,in the debugging mode i have seen that BAPI uses a perform to fill the values in the VBAP structure.But after that when it come back to the main program VBAP remains blank.This ocuurs when the BAPI is called from the exit whereas if tested from SE37, VBAP retains the value.
Can u suggest in this ? This is very very urgent............

Problem in creating a generic datasource with infoset

Dear Expert,
I have to create a generic datasource with infoset. I linked the infoset with a test program below. In the program, I have one selection option, which is s_order. After creating an infoset and a datasource, this selection option 'SELECT_S_ORDER' is added to my extract structure. However, after try filtering with this SELECT_S_ORDER, it doesn't filter data at all. Why? I want to filter data with my s_order.

Problem with CMP bean and MySQL: please help me!!!

I am using J2EE Sun server 1.3 and Mysql 4.0 database with its MySQL Connector/J 3.0.
The driver connection to the database is fine since "Generate Default SQL" in deploytool gives "SQL generation complete".
However, I can't have a simple row with one text field called test being created in my mysql table called test.
Of course , the mysql server is started and the test table set for use.
Here is my code (I try to access my database from a servlet using a CMP Entity bean):

I am mapping an entity bean to an oracle table for the purpose of logging . I do not need a primary key contraint on this table. How do I specify in my entity bean file descriptor not to use any field for primary key ...

this will always take the value from the sequence, even if you already provided a value yourself
(otherwise you will first have to test if :NEW.<column name> is null, but I wouldn't do this for a key column.
if you need the generated key back for further processing (inserting it into a child table for example), you can use the returning clause on the insert statement

iam trying to create a regular expression using gnu package api..

i need to validate the browser's(MSIE) userAgent through my regular expression
userAgent is like :First one ==> Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)
i wrote an regular expression like this:

Actaully this is validating my userAgent and returns true, my problem is, it is returning true if userAgent is having more words at the end after Windows NT 5.0 like Second One ==> Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) Testing
i want the regularExpression pattern to validate the First one and return true for it, and has to return false for the Second one..

Ofcourse, i can do comparision with simple string matching..
but problem is the userAgent that i want to support is for all the MSIE versions ranging from 5.0 onwards, so there will the version difference of IE like MSIE 6.0..! or MSIE 5.5 some thing like that..
any ways i will try with StringTokenizer once..!

Have problems to create lagacy data (AS91) with asset that purchase in 2010

I have some problems when I try to create lagacy data via AS91 but it's not allow me to post acquisition value and accumulate depreciation into asset that have capitalize date on this year (30.09.2010)   Could anyone please tell me Did I do anything wrong in config ?or Should I change the year in capitalize date to the past and then takeover value after that edit capitalize date again by AS02.

If you make a legacy data transfer during the year you can't enter   kum. values. You have to press the button transactions and enter here the transactions from previous system.

Problem Binding Parent Taskflow's Bean with Included Page's UI component

I am using JDev 11.1.1.5.
I would like to ask *2* things:
Number 1
I have a Parent page (parentPage.jsff) which is inside the taskflow (parentTaskFlow). parentTaskFlow has a managed bean (ParentBean.java) with BackingBean Scope.
Inside the parentPage.jsff, a child page (childPage.jsff) is included using Dynamic Declarative Component. +*<af:declarativeComponent viewId="/childFragments/childPage.jsff" id="dc1"/>*+
When I tried to bind a ui component from childPage.jsff to ParentBean, it is returning null for this component.
Could you please help me with this issue? Thanks.

The other important thing that I want to know is that when a page fragment (jsff) is included with Dynamic Declarative Component, Is the PageDef of that page fragment is the same as that of parent page or not? Please explain me about this also.

I will explain you the problem in detail:
As I mentioned in my previous post, I tried to bind a ui component from childPage.jsff to ParentBean.
In parentPage.jsff, there is a commandButton whose actionListener is bound to backing bean method. And inside this actionListener method, the binding for ui component is Null. That's the problem I'm facing. When I debug, the setter of the ui component is run. But in actionListener method, it returns null.
I made another test. In childPage.jsff, there is a commandButton whose actionListener is bound to backing bean method. But inside this actionListener method, the binding for ui component is NOT Null.

Problem while creating instance of bean in jsp

have created a bean ConnBean in package ask. I am using apache tomcat 4.0.1 as a web server.
The ask folder is in webapps/WEB-INF/classes as well as in webapps/Root/WEB_INF/classes and in ask folder ConnBean.class is stored.
Url for jsp is webapps/Root/jdbc.jsp

have created a bean ConnBean in package ask. I am
using apache tomcat 4.0.1 as a web server.
The ask folder is in webapps/WEB-INF/classes Remove it. This will just cloud the issue.

Problem in creating (and opening) file with FileOutputStream

I have a (java) program running on a linux server, and when it tries to create a new file, using FileOutputStream, it throws the following exception:

Thanks, the problem was that I had "/" in my file name, so the file system regarded it as a directory separator...
