Problem in creating selection screen from screen painter

i am working with screens i have created a screen and in that wehn i click report button it has to ask for select options for dates.from there i will write a select quesry based on selection dates ...how to call a selection screen from screen.i created an include and in that include i used select options.but it is showing error message .guide me how to do it ?

Here for your problem,
I have created a button with function code 'CLICK' in screen no 1000.
when I click on the button I am capturing the ok_code and displaying the selection screen.
ok_code = sy-ucomm.
case:ok_code.
when 'CLICK'.
         SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 500 TITLE title.
         SELECT-OPTIONS: P_DATE for sy-datum.
         SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 500.
title = 'Input Date'.
CALL SELECTION-SCREEN '0500'.
endcase.
You can also have them as subscreen by providing the required parameters in the selection screen.

Creating training videos from screen captures?

Hello folks,
Is it possible to create interactive videos from a series of screen captures. I understand the preferred method is to use Captivate to record a session, however, all my software walk throughs are created in a VM and installing Captivate inside a VM is not always practical.
In the past, when I worked with RWD uPerform, I captured static screens using a really good/free tool called Gadwin screen capture. Once completed, I could add these screens into RWD, select clickable areas and RWD would do the rest by simulating clicks, motions, etc.
Is this possible in Captivate?
Thus far, my experience with Captivate involved doing direct recordings, in a manner similar to Camtasia.

If you are seeking a smaller footprint (read mobile or possibly portable) version of Captivate, please request same using the Wish Form. Adobe development does pay attention to these. If enough folks request something or report a certain issue, it gains a higher priority on the list of features or fixes.

Firefox 8... Unable to create PDF files from screen using Adobe Acrobat X...what happened?

I'm no longer able to use the Adobe feature to create PDF's from the Firefox screen.
Unable to find any information on correcting this issue.
I would not have upgraded to Firefox 8 if I knew the loss of the Adobe PDF feature would be effected.
I reinstalled the standard Adobe Acrobat X with no results...

Copy screens from screen painter

Hi guys,
I was just wondering if there was a way to copy screens from one program to the other?
Me and a colleague are working on the same project, but since we can't both work in the same program at the same time, we have devided the work. But we will be working in a different program, and making screens in a different program.
So, if we want to merge the two programms into one, we will have to add all the screens. So, is there a way to just copy them?

create different program and create screens in that program.
now to merge them go to se51, choose copy form status button on top of screen and give ur program name and screen no and copy them to target program and screen.
now you can use that screen by calling in that program with call screen statement.

Problem with "Create New Extrusion from Selected Layer" CC 2014

Hello, I'm experienced with Photoshop but am new to 3D text in Photoshop. I type in some text and convert to a shape. When I choose Create New Extrusion from Selected Layer I get dialog box I don't see in any tutorials. It says "You are about to create a 3D layer. Would you like to switch to the 3D workspace? Yes/No, Don't show again." Which should I use for 3D text?
If I choose Yes, all the panels go away and the content in the tool options bar (ribbon?) just under the menu bar go away. I have to restart Photoshop to get the tool options back. What could I be doing wrong?

I just chose "No" and didn't look back. I like my workspace just as it is, and don't prefer Photoshop to change it for me under this particular case.
You can make the 3D panel visible yourself via Window - 3D. I find it's a good alternate for the Actions panel, as I don't have any actions at the moment that work in the 3D world.
The panels you'll want to see easily if you work on 3D are the 3D panel and the Properties panel, among a few others.
Regarding getting your workspace back the way you like it... Note the little selector near the upper-right corner of the Photoshop main window. That can be used to select a workspace. I suggest you experiment and get familiar with the concept of workspaces. You can define your own and save it with a name, and that truly can be helpful.

Syntax for calling 1000 screen(abap o/p screen) from screen 200.

i need to change the SAP program relating to the transaction QA32.i have already changed the program & i added 2 screens in this program by using CALL SCREEN syntax.
my problem is
when i execute YQA32 (copy of QA32 with modification) transaction, i am getting the output in the screen 1000.when i double click on any material on that screen (1000), the control will go to screen 200 (CALL SCREEN 200).
everything is going fine. but in screen 200, i have putted a 'BACK' push button. if i will press 'BACK' on screen 200, it should go to screen 1000 which is normal ABAP output screen(here,the output screen of YQA32).
if i will put syntax like LEAVE TO SCREEN 1000 OR LEAVE PROGRAM OR LEAVE SCREEN, IT IS NOT WORKING. the control is directly going to program if i will add LEAVE PROGRAM.
what syntax i need to use to come to screen 1000 from screen 200 in the BACK user command of screen 200.plz suggest.

thanks for ur help.The output of QA32 transaction is comming on the sap standard selection screen '1000'. i am not creating this screen.i just modified sap program relating to transaction QA32 & named it as YQA32.This program is ALV designed.u can check transaction QA32.
when i will put some data in the selection screen of YQA32 then i will go for execute, then my output comes on screen 1000 which is standard abap screen.i have not created screen 1000. from screen 1000, my control goes to other screen 200 by CALL SCREEN 200 statement.
so when i want to back to screen 1000 from screen 200 , i am writting LEAVE TO SCREEN 1000 in the 'BACK' user command of screen 200.but error is comming as screen 1000 does not exist.so plz suggest any syntax for this BACK operation.

Problem in creating a PO from SOCO

I am working on SRM 4.0 , classic scenario.
When I am trying to create a PO from SOCO , I am getting the following error messages
1) Partner xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx not found.
2) Enter a country for partner with type 'Preferred Vendor'
I checked the GUID of the vendor which I am entering while creating a PO with one which is displayed in error. Both GUID's are different.
Also when I search the GUID displayed in the error message in VENMAP table . there is no corrosponding entry in the table for this GUID.
I checked the org. unit of vendor , the country field is maintained for the same.
There is no preferred vendor maintained in the SC also. From where the system is picking up this message ?
I would also like to add , in monitor SC application when I look at the item detail the system displays the message " Address Data has been Changed ". But I can not see any changes in the SC history.
I also checked PO10 tx for changes in the org unit but nothing has been changed there also.
From where the system is picking up this preferred vendor and messages ?
Would appreciate your help on this .

Thanks for your inputs.
The problem has been identified. The error is because the vendors are deleted completly from the system. And those were earlier used in shopping cart as preffered vendor. Thats why the system is throwing the error message.
As we can not process this SC further we want to delete this SC (line item). But again while deleting the SC the system is throwing the error message . "Business partner xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx not found." Thus its not allowing us to delete the SC.
Do you have any ideas how we can delete the SC line items, or SC ? Any FM ?

Problem in creating text file from report file

Hello Everybody...
I have problem in creating text file.
I had set System Parameter as below
DESTYPE : File
MODE : Character
DESNAME : gayu.txt
And ruler setting
Units : Character Cells
Character Cell Size : Horiziontal = 7
Vertiacle =12
GridSpacing : 1
no of snap points per grid spacing : 1
but when i run report it will give error
"REP_1219 M_2 or R_2 has no size -- length or width zero"
so is there any solution of that
or another way to convert report into text file?....

Please don't go after that Error as its a very deceptive one. Please don't go for altering your design Or changing the size of items in your layout.
Similar errors I have come across in reports. I think its due to file transfer type. You might have transferred the file in Binary and your File Mode I am seeing it as CHAR.
This normally happens while making the Report Format as "Text". Either you change that format which I think is possible in your case as your basic requirement is making a report output of CHAR type.
Please check for this error in Metalink and proceed accordingly. I could fix similar errors when I changed Format type to PDF(from text).

JSF - Problem in Retrieving selected record from datatable

I am new to JSF and in the process of developing a new web application using JSF.
I have problem in retrieving the selected record from a datatable. I am using h:datatable tag and h:commandlink in a column for selecting a particular row on the datatable.
I have populated the data to the datatable by binding a bean and its property.
When I retrieve also I am binding to a bean in the action attribute of the h:commandlink tag in h:column of that datatable.But when I try to bind the bindign attribute of the h:datatable tag to the datatable instance in my Bean , my JSF File gets corrupted..
How to implement this without any issue??plz help me regarding this.

Problems for creating a delivery from a order with less items

hye, I have created a delivery from a sales order and all is ok. So, If I put less quantity in severals items, the delivery is generated ok and the sales order is OPEN status.
Now , I want to generate a delivery from sales order, but I don´t want to include in my delivery all sales order's items. For example, if I have in my sales order four items (Itm1,Itm2,Itm3,Itm4) with theirs quantity, by SDK I want to generate the Delivery with Itm2 and Itm3 only. I can't do that. I hate It,jajajajajaja.
With the next FOR, I get do it with all Items but I don´t know to say it that when status = 0 "jump" this item.

are there many others experiencing problems creating Genius Playlists from their iPhone 5's???
I have a 64GB Black iPhone 5 and a 32GB White iPhone 5, I have recently performed a fresh install (wiped phone memory and installed Apps individually again) yet even after this and no less then several calls to Apple I am still unable to create a genius playlist on either phone. The message I receive after hitting the Genius "star" is "The operation couldn't be completed. Operation timed out" Operation timed out."
I have tried this also on 3G and receive the same message........

Problems in create graphical report from Oracle FSG xml output using BIP

We are trying to create graphical reports from Oracle Financial Statement Generator (FSG) xml output. I personally have extensive exposure working with XML (BI) Publisher but until recently I have never tried to use the BIP charting wizard to create graphical reports from FSG xml output out of EBS 11i/R12.
I created an SR with Oracle but they had to create an enhancement request for this issue. Does anyone know or have any idea on how we can accomplish this. The charting wizard pops up but the xml tags available do not make any sense.

The things I said are not a fix for this problem.
If your RCU installation worked, then you do not have to worry about modifying the createfr.sql.
Edit:
I've just tracked the problem. It appears that when using the query builder, BI forgets to add the " sign.
For example:
This query will give the hyperion error.
select     "table"."field"
from     "database.user"."table"
To correct it write it like this:
select     "table"."field"
from     "database"."user"."table"

Problems in creating Materialized View from 10g R2 to 11g

We have two databases in 10g Release 2. These databases are on two different servers and we use
Materialized views to replicate data between these servers. We are currently using 64 bit version of
oracle 10g release 2 for LINUX.
Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production
PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
CORE 10.2.0.1.0 Production
TNS for Linux: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
We use CENTOS 5 - 64 bit edition
We upgraded one of the databases to 11g (We exported the data from old database and
imported it in new database) . Then we tried to create a Materialized view with incremental refresh
on it where the base table is in the second Oracle 10g database.
The problem is that it is not letting us create the view with FAST Refresh. It kept on giving ORA-12028
error. We tried different remedies suggested on forums like creating a view with ROWID, but still it
continued giving us the same error. We also synchronized the characterset of Oracle 10g and Oracle 11g
installations but still it did not work.
Our base table size is pretty large (over 10 Million records) and if we do a full refresh, it takes hours to
refresh it.
Without incremental refresh, we will not be able to fucntion, and to upgrade both database simultaneously
we will need a large down-time which also we can not afford.
Please advise what should we do.

Yesterday I met the same problem and very sad about this, however, my story is much more complicated (I think so).
I have 6 databases:
2 - 11g
2 - 10g
2 - 9i
Every database of each release has different characterset(UTF8 and AL16UTF16).
I am trying to create Materialized view with FAST REFRESH on Oracle 11g, when master tables are located on 10g database and 9i database.
Materialized view, which points to 9i database, was successfully created.
Materialized view, which points to 10g database, gets ORA-12028
Like you, I tried many notes from METALINK and thought at the begining that the problem is my characterset. But, when the materialized views were successfully built on Oracle 9i database, I understood that the problem is something else.
Did you find the actual reason why this issue does not work??

Problems while creating a project from a war file...

Hi there, I created a new project in jDev 10.1.3 from a war file that contains a web site that originally ran on TomCat. The problem is that my web.xml file does not contain any information about the servlets that I have in the war file. So when I try running a servlet, I always get an error.
Is there a way to bypass the need to declare every single servlet I have in the web.xml file? If not, are there tools that exist that I could use to do this automatically?

You can try the following:
1. Give the fully qualified domain name of the DTR server host in NWDS Preferences->Development Configuration.
2. Check if your WAS and JDI are on a higher SP level. If yes then use the corresponding NWDS.
