Problem in delivering Picture Messages through Java SMPP client

I m working on development of SMPP Client, using Java. In its development I didnt used any API from eny vendor, and implemented purely in Java. I am facing one unusual problem in receiving of Picture Messages. Also, I have one C based client application.
I m sending picture message through both client application(s) to be delivered over different handset(s). I have tested many different cases, but could not conclude to any solution. The behavioral cases are as follows;
When I sent same picture message through Java SMPP client on Nokia 1100, it get received with prompt Picture Message Received. And on viewing it, Message cannot be displayed, is informed and no picture message get displayed. Till now it happens for every caseto this handst, but get properly displayed on Nokia 32xx / 53xx.
Whereas while sending through the C SMPP Client on Nokia 1100, sometime it get displayed and sometimes it doesnt. Same prompts follows on not receiving right picture message while using Java SMPP Client
I m not understanding why;
It doesnt get delivered correctly a picture message, every time I submits it to deliver on 1100 while sending through C based,
And why It doesnt get delivered correctly at all while sending through Java SMPP client on 1100 whereas it get delivered correctly over other Nokia model handset.
Kindly, anyone make me solve out the prob.

Hi,
Even we have implemented the Java SMPP client, to sending the picture message as embeded SMS.
If you do not have issue to share the SMPPClient which is sending the picture message, I can look into the code and help you. Let me know, I can share my personal email id.

  • How to see the messages through JAVA cosole?

    Hi,
    I used to work on client/server environment. I ddin't work on Jdeveloper debug console.
    Regarding one of the .fmb file 9i version,I want to display messages through java console/Jdeveloper.
    Should I open both the forms 9i application and jdeveloper debug console side by side? How do I open .fmb file in jdeveloper debug console in order to see the messages?
    Thanks
    Woolmer

    Hi,
    you can't. System.out.println messages of a PJC in Forms are displayed in teh Java Plugin console
    The only option for you to debug e.g. a PJC is explained in the following document

    Hi, cymoneW.
    Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
    I understand that you are unable to send or receive picture messages via the cellular data network.  I would check to make sure that MMS is enable in settings.  This setting is located in Settings > Messages and MMS Messaging.  If the issue persists, try the troubleshooting steps in the article below.
    If you can't send or receive messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

  • Problem sending MMS/Picture messages

    Wondering if anyone else is having this problem:
    I'm finding that if i try to send someone a picture message along with a typed message, as soon as i hit send i get a little message saying its converting and then it just stays stuck on "sending". It never actually sends the message.
    I realized this two days later when a friend said they had not received my text. I resent the picture without a typed message and then they suddenly received BOTH pictures (the original with the message and the new one).
    Sounds like a weird software to me? Any thoughts?

    Thank you everyone for reporting this issue. I can understand that it would be frustrating to have to try multiple times to send the same message. I have a Nexus myself and tried with a few other Nexus' here and was not able to duplicate the issue. Since there are multiple people having this issue, I will escalate this issue to our product team to further investigate this issue. I will need more details to troubleshoot. Do you notice this only happening in a certain location? Does it happen when picking up 3G, 4G or both? Do you get an error message or what exactly happens when trying to send MMS? Does this happen only when the signal is low, or with full signal?
    Also, try removing the battery and SIM card for about 30 seconds. Toggle airplane mode and network mode for a few seconds, then retest.

  • BO Opendocument Url not giving pdf report when invoked through Java.

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to get pdf report by invoking the BO XI R3 server using the below url.
    <br>
    <br>
    <br>
    http://corpbo101d:41040/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sType=rpt&sDocName=BankAsAgentNA_1_au&sOutputFormat=P&lsS@model_code=BANKAGENT&lsS@user_id=sv66397&lsS@gen_no=1
    <br>
    <br>
    <B>This url gives the pdf report as expected when accessed through the browser.</B>
    <br>
    <br>
    But when accessing through Java it is not giving the pdf but its giving the content of the opendocument.jsp instead.
    <br>
    <B>Please let me what am I doing wrong.</B>
    <br>
    <br>
    Thanks in advance.
    Your code was breaking the forum thread so I removed it.

    Thanks for the response Jason,<br>
    <br>
    The java script were part of the output that I got when I invoked the url through Java. That is not the code that I'm using but the response which I'm getting after invoking the url.<br>
    <br>
    The url that I used is the one that I already pasted in the start of the thread.<br>
    <br>
    http://<server>:<port>/OpenDocument/opendoc/openDocument.jsp?sType=rpt&sDocName=BankAsAgentNA_1_au&sOutputFormat=P&lsS@model_code=BANKAGENT&lsS@user_id=sv66397&lsS@gen_no=1<br>
    <br>
    And yes I'm passing parameters along the url. <B>But it is with opendocument only and not viewrpt.*</B><br>
    <br>
    And this is already working through browser.<br>
    <br>
    But the problem occurs only during invocation through java, where I'm expecting a pdf byte stream. <br>
    <br>
    Instead i'm getting only html content. Which when I read through it, is nothing but the opendocument.jsp's source code.<br>
    <br>
    <B>Please find the java source code below.</B><br>

  • I have an older Samsung SCH U470 can't get picture messages

    Could a few ays ago, now it won't open them   I did a master reset on the phone and since then it stopped working

    lorroth1
    That is odd! Are you still having problems receiving pictures? If so, I'd love to assist.
    Did you have any problems sending pictures as well? Were you receiving any type of error message when you weren't getting them on the phone?
    There could be a couple reasons as to why pictures are not being received. Does the phone have enough memory to receive the message. I suggest looking into the available memory by:
    Going to  the main screen, press Menu.
    Scroll to Settings & Tools.
    Scroll to Memory, press OK.
    Music Memory
    Display shows
    Available
    Used
    Total
    Phone Memory
    Memory Usage
    My Pictures
    My Ringtones
    My Sounds
    Also, since you did a master reset, you may need to check some settings on the phone,  Go to Message>select Messaging>Settings>select Multimedia Auto Receive (make sure it is highlighted to receive)
    If you have performed these steps but are still having problems with receiving picture messages Private Message me and I will be glad to look into the account  for you.

  • Java proxy client with HTTP sender

    I have SP15. I have sender agreement with HTTP adapter for system A and Java Proxy Cleint that send message as system A.
    When I send message through Java proxy I see error:
    <i>SOAPFault received from Integration Server. ErrorCode/Category: XIServer/IN_BIND_WRONG_ADPT; Params: HTTP; AdditionalText:  ; ApplicationFaultMessage:  ; ErrorStack: Server agreement found belongs to adapter HTTP; current adapter is 'XI' </i>
    When I deleted sender agreement it worked.
    Could you explain this strange behavior? Is it a bug. Sender agrement for HTTP is necessary since SP16

    I have the same problem with SOAP and file adapter. I've posted this here already.
    XIServer/IN_BIND_WRONG_ADPT
    I have deleted the sender agreement for my soap adapter scenarios, because a sender agreement is not necessary (created by the wizard). After that the soap adapter scenarios work fine. But at scenarios with a sender file adapter you need a sender agreement.
    We had the following situation:
    XI Test, XI SP17, Basis SP16 --> IN_BIND_WRONG_ADPT problem
    XI QA, XI SP17, Basis SP14 --> okay
    XI Prod, XI SP15, Basis SP 16 --> okay
    We patched our XI QA to
    XI QA, XI SP17, Basis SP16
    After that we have the IN_BIND_WRONG_ADPT problem at our XI  QA system too.
    I started a SAPP OSS call two weeks ago but got no solution till now. They checked our systems some times but with no result.
    Our central SLD is on the XI Prod System. Perhaps there is a connection. But I don't want to patch my XI Prod system to SP 17, because it's the only system that works without errors.

  • Problem while executing BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL through JAVA using JCo

    Hi All,
    I am trying to get Production Order details in JAVA program using JCo. Following is the code I have written.
    JCoDestination destination = JCoDestinationManager.getDestination(ABAP_AS);
    JCoFunction function = destination.getRepository().getFunction("BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL");
    if(function == null)
    throw new RuntimeException("BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL not found in SAP.");
    function.getImportParameterList().setValue("NUMBER", 1067831);
    JCoStructure struct = com.sap.conn.jco.JCo.createStructure(destination.getRepository().getStructureDefinition("BAPI_PP_ORDER_OBJECTS"));
    struct.setValue("HEADER", 'Y');
    struct.setValue("POSITIONS", 'Y');
    struct.setValue("SEQUENCES", 'Y');
    struct.setValue("OPERATIONS", 'Y');
    struct.setValue("COMPONENTS", 'Y');
    struct.setValue("PROD_REL_TOOLS", 'Y');
    struct.setValue("TRIGGER_POINTS", 'Y');
    function.getImportParameterList().setValue("ORDER_OBJECTS", struct);
    function.getImportParameterList().setValue("COLLECTIVE_ORDER",'Y');
    try
    function.execute(destination);
    catch(AbapException e)
    System.out.println(e.toString());
    return;
    JCoStructure returnStructure = function.getExportParameterList().getStructure("RETURN");
    if (! (returnStructure.getString("TYPE").equals("") ||
       returnStructure.getString("TYPE").equals("S") ||
       returnStructure.getString("TYPE").equals("W")) )
    System.out.println(returnStructure.getString("MESSAGE"));
    JCoTable codes = function.getTableParameterList().getTable("HEADER");
    int iCnt = codes.getNumRows();
    System.out.println("No Of Rows " + iCnt);
    int iFldCnt = codes.getNumColumns();
    JCoMetaData codesMD = codes.getMetaData();
    for (int i = 0; i < codes.getNumRows(); i++)
    codes.setRow(i);
    // Display the data
    The number which I am passing is a valid production order. When I test this BAPI in SAP gui with same input, it gives back the data but when I try to run this through java I always get the return message as this production order does not exist. Is there anything wrong I am doing?
    I am using JCo 3.0
    I have tried passing various values to ORDER_HEADER structure. I have tried getting the structure from import parameter list and then setting the values on that itself. Nothing has worked for me.
    Thanks,
    Dayanand

    The problem is solved. I just set the order number as string and added 0s before the order number to complete the required length. Also I changed the setting import structure for order header. Each field in the structure should have value as 'X' or ' '
    JCoDestination destination = JCoDestinationManager.getDestination(ABAP_AS);
    JCoFunction function = destination.getRepository().getFunction("BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL");
    if(function == null)
    throw new RuntimeException("BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL not found in SAP.");
    function.getImportParameterList().setValue("NUMBER", "000001067831");
    JCoStructure struct = com.sap.conn.jco.JCo.createStructure(destination.getRepository().getStructureDefinition("BAPI_PP_ORDER_OBJECTS"));
    struct.setValue("HEADER", 'X');
    struct.setValue("POSITIONS", 'X');
    struct.setValue("SEQUENCES", 'X');
    struct.setValue("OPERATIONS", 'X');
    struct.setValue("COMPONENTS", 'X');
    struct.setValue("PROD_REL_TOOLS", 'X');
    struct.setValue("TRIGGER_POINTS", 'X');
    function.getImportParameterList().setValue("ORDER_OBJECTS", struct);
    function.getImportParameterList().setValue("COLLECTIVE_ORDER",'X');
    try
    function.execute(destination);
    catch(AbapException e)
    System.out.println(e.toString());
    return;
    JCoStructure returnStructure = function.getExportParameterList().getStructure("RETURN");
    if (! (returnStructure.getString("TYPE").equals("") ||
       returnStructure.getString("TYPE").equals("S") ||
       returnStructure.getString("TYPE").equals("W")) )
    System.out.println(returnStructure.getString("MESSAGE"));
    JCoTable codes = function.getTableParameterList().getTable("HEADER");
    int iCnt = codes.getNumRows();
    System.out.println("No Of Rows " + iCnt);
    int iFldCnt = codes.getNumColumns();
    JCoMetaData codesMD = codes.getMetaData();
    for (int i = 0; i < codes.getNumRows(); i++)
    codes.setRow(i);
    // Display the data

    Are you able to send any MMS messages from your BlackBerry  ?
    Try those steps in the same sequence :
    1- Register your Handheld .

    2- Resend your Service Book

    3-  Then perform a battery pull restart like this while the device is powered On remove your battery wait for a min. then reinsert it back
    I assume you alreday have sufficient data plan from your present Carrier which allow MMS or you have to call your carrier to confirm that .Try it and let us know.
