Problem in finding table for check no.

Hi Experts,
I need to print the check number in my form, but the functional person gave the table name as REGUD, but it is a structure. Can any one let me what would be the table for check number(REGUD-CHECT) and bank name(REGUD-UBNKA).

Hi,
Go to Tcode SE84-> ABAP Dictionary -> Fields -> Table Fields --> field name = <your field name>Execute.
You will get many tables, take one one of these to meet your requirements.
But i dint get any table for UBNKA field. So just check this field name whether it is right.
Again you can search for this field table name by putting "bank name" in short description field.

hey sarang
i will tell u a short cut to know vat is the table for all ur desired fields,
just enter a worng value in the particular filed.. and then u can see a error message displayed like the follwing example
entry 01 not found in table erro1
just try giving wrong values for check number..and just enter
then u will get a error message with the table information..
check wthere this trick works in ur system

Find table for a structure field

Hi,
I need to find table for field Q0743-OFFR1. I tried using tcode SE15, but was not able to find any table where the field is used.
Is there any other method of finding a table for a structure field.
Any pointers in this regard would be helpful.

Hi,
when u open the structure , u will find the tab " Component " in that you
will find "Data Element" column which hold the data element of the structure
component , now double click on the respective "Data Element " and that will
open up the Data Element Page in which u will find a "Where Used List" icon
, click on that, this will now display you the list, select the TABLE LIST
Check box and execute, which will subsequently display you all the the table
names which has "specified" data element's component as field

Problem in MARA table for the field PSTAT

Dear all,
I am facing a problem with mara table , for a material it is showing "C" Classification status in MARA table in field PSTAT
But if im going to Transaction MM03 with the same material im not able to find any Classification view there(mm03).
Please help me why is this happening and what is the possible solution for this .

Hi,
In relation to the issue, there are a number of reasons why the
classification view may not be displaying in MM02/MM03:
1. OMS2 customising settings for material type
2. OMT3 customising settings for the screen sequence
3. Authorisation object M_MATE_STA
If these settings are correct, kindly refer to the note 113966.
If there are inconsistencies in the material status in MARA and MARC
then report ZRMMMSTAT outlined in this note should resolve the issue.

Seems like you have a material number field (domain with conversion routine MATN1 or alike) and table TMCNV does not have the entry with key 'MATCONV', check the where used-list of message BMG 135. I assume this entry comes delivered by SAP, so try to restore it.
Also search for OSS notes with "TMCNV" or "BMG 135".

if i want to create a report, i nedd to give field name and table name to the ABAPer, which i try to find by pressing F1 in that field.But many times its structure.In this case how can i find the exact table?

After double clicking on the Data element---Where -used List -tables--
execute---suppose if the system gives you more number of tables,then here by
reading the description of the table,try to pick or else cross check whether in that
table for that field its storing some values.
No need to execute each table by giving inputs.Simple give the table name and
after going into the table click on number of entries,by this way you will be able to
short list.
I hope this can help you to some extent.

Find table for table maintenance

Say youre in transaction mm03 to display a material. How do you find the table you can perform table maintenance on to edit selections for field MVGR5?

Good question. Here is the way that I found it just know. I went to SE11 and looked at the MVKE table and saw that the check table for MVGR5 is TVM5, then I went to the intial screen of SE11 and changed the radiobutton to view, and did F4 help, here I hit the expand view icon and entered TVM5 in as the primary table and checked "Maintainence view", it returned V_TVM5 as the maintenance view. I entered this view name into SM30 and that's it.
I don't think that it is always this cut and dry.

it. If I let SchemaTool generate the tables without specifying a "table"
extension, I get a single TABLE with all the columns from both classes and
everything works fine. But if I specify a "table" for the derived class,
SchemaTool generates the derived class with just one column (corresponds
to the attribute in derived class). Also it causes problems in using the
Project class in collection attributes.

FIND table for PM order operations

Hello,
I am looking for the table in which the notification number of pm order operations is stored.
I find table AFVC and AFVV but in this table I don't see notification number.

For PM Order, you can see :
- Notification number in header tabstrip
- Notification number in operations tabstrip (for each operation)
It is not the same number !
I have the following informations : AUFK, AFKO, AFVC.
For example, With IW32, I see operations tabstrip :
Operation Item                   Notifications Number

20                                      110000007
30                                      110000008
In AFVC, I see :
AUFPL                           VORNR
1000582892                   10

AUFPL number is the same for all items operations in AFVC !

For our family finances, how do I create a monthly expenditure report that automatically merges data (by category) from checking, credit card, and savings accounts?

You can set up four tables:
1) a summary table
2) a table for pasting Checking transactions
3) a table for pasting Credit Card transactions
4) a table for pasting Savings transactions
You will have catagorize each transaction or using the ones from the bank/credit card
I used pop-up menus to make the categories (Type) and summed the two accounts in the summary table.

I entered into the TC : ST05, Activated the trace then I created a customer, then I came back and deactivated trace, then I clicked on display it gave me a list ( yellow color list ) ... Wat do u mean by update methods here ...

How do we find tables for standard SAP programs?

Dear Friends!
I have received a project in which I have to create a report on the employees skill-sets(qualifications). Qualifications we can see in in the Transaction PA30 in the form of infotypes. But infotype tables are not sufficient itself. So do you guys have any idea that where else do we maintain records like this moreover how do we find tables in standard SAP Programs.

How to find tables for a particular business object.

Dear Friends,
I want to display, all the tables related to a particular business object.
So I think there must be way of doing it using packages.
example:-
I will have list of all packages referencing to all business Components
(ex.SALES) then i will get a list of all the tables related to SALES and then I would like to get all the METADATA regarding that TABLE.
please give me some ideas How to achieve this.

like suppose i entered Sales i sould get all the tables related to Sales ....if MM then list of MM tables...
in Se80 the package VA is for sales .....
and there i can get all the tables for sales...
but If u know any searching criteria by which i will be able to the list of tables.
