Problem in identifying Customer with Telephone number in CTI

I am facing a challenge in the following scenario:
We are in the process of CTI integration, when we get inbound call alert from a mobile, the screen displays the number in a format like +9050XXXXXXX and for a landline number it shows +904XXXXXX. In the BP, we have maintained the numbers without 9, so when the call comes to ICWC, its not identifying the customer. My CTI vendor said the number 9 is defined in the PBX and if removed it will create other problems.
I have created a test data - BP with my extn no. (only extn. no not the complete landline number) if i call my agent id no from my extn no., ICWC is able to identify the customer. The alert shows +72085 which is my ext no. but there is no prefix of no. 9.
My question is:
How can i adjust the search routine in SAP to search for the telephone number beginning with +9.
Is there any other alternative solution available for this. Any thoughts..

We had a similiar problem in one of ours CRM IC implementations, but since this particulary implementation we were using BCM we removed the numbers there.
But been searching and i think that the function used to indentify the call partner for the call it's BUPA_SEARCH_2(iv_telephone) think you can manipulate your telephone number there just for the identification, but the number showed in IC will still have the 9.
Don't know if this help , but try some debug perhaps this helps you get a solution(check class CL_CRM_MCM_SESSION).

    Hi There More of a curiosity/idea than anything else. Why is there no 0845/0800/landline telephone number to contact customer sevices on? I know there is a short number, 150, that can be used from your mobile. They even have an 0800 number for sales but nothing except an expensive mobile number for ringing from a non EE landline. It seems a little...dubious. Yes I understand most people would ring from a mobile but there are times when thats not possible (no network coverage/poor signal etc), but not having a cheaper option to contact CS on it poor customer service. Especially when you add to that no online CS chat, though EE will happily chat to you online if they think you'll buy something. Every network I've been with had a cheaper alternative to a mobile number, indeed with my previous provider O2, I never verbally spoke to them in the whole 5 years I was with them. Anyone got any ideas why?

    same problem.... wait until you get your bill.  In one episode I finally got through to be asked if it was ok to be put on hold while he checked something.  15 mins later he came back.  My bill was huge.  I complained and got a sorry we can not offer a refund!  After being on hold to customer service for over 1 hour in total this weekend I asked for contract to be terminated.  I still have a pending complaint to be answered, wait it hasn't been 72 hours yet to get back to a valued customer. Wish Orange never became EE, that was a dark ..... dark day.

    The correspondence goes from f.27 automatically and one we generate in system it showing correct number and one which is going to customer it's showing incorrect number.
    I don't think so that we need to do change something from FBZP since this was a customer correspondence.

    MAC CL_BSP_BP_ACCMOD's query method uses FM COM_BSP_SEARCH_BP.
    Look into this function module before you make enhancements around BP search using telephone number.

    I think I figured it out. If there is an auto signature in Mail, whatever is in it will show up at the header in iOS.

    You can disable this feature for Apple devices by using
    <meta name="format-detection" content="telephone=no">
    You could also apply a span with a class around the phone number and then target that in the CSS - Apple devices make it a link so it would be something like the below:
    <span class="iOS">01 234 567 8910</span>
    .iOS a { /* styles here */ }
    Or you could make it a link yourself by using the tel attribute:
    <a href="tel:+112345678910">01 234 567 8910</a>
    a[href^="tel:"] { /* styles here */ }

  • Account Identification thru Account no instead of telephone number

    My Client has a CTI solution which is already in use by the call center agents.
    As of now, the call center agents are using Desktop Manager through which they are using the accept, reject or other functions.
    Now they want to replace the Desktop Manager with SAP CRM Webclient functions to use the functions like Accept, Reject, Hold ...
    The current status is, i have done the configuration in which i have integrated CTI with SAP CRM 7.0 and the ICWC is able to identify the caller based on the telephone no. saved in the BP.
    The main challenge what i am facing is, the client doesnt want to use the Customer's telephone number to identify instead they want to use Contract Account no. or Legacy number to identify the customer. 
    Do we need any connector to do this.
    How can i achieve this. I would really appreciate your advise on this.

    In the CTI scenario that is conected to the ACD switch and have an IVR/VRU (Interactive Voice Responce System), in the CRM 7.0 IC/CTI standard intergated scenario, CRM IC system performs the search for Account by ID that is in the Call Attached Data (if CAD is configured for Identification profile for your Business Role) and it is passed thru IVR (customer enters it via dail pad on his phone or does not enter it).
    If the Account ID value is not in the CAD (customer has not entered that number in IVR) or the search for a customer by this ID failed in CRM, then system will try to search by the phone number. It will find a cusomer in your CRM system if this phone number is maintained on this cusomer, otherwise no search results returned and agents can perform search manually.

      i am displaying the vendor address in PO form by passing the address number to the address node in smart form. My problem is communication details like Telephone number, Fax and email id is not printing in the output.
    I want to print the communication details in address. Is there any settings to print the address including communication details.
    Note: In Xk02 also communication details are not printing in print preview.

    From the documentation of function module ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM the following list of fields can be prioritised;
    "A = Title
    P = Mandatory empty line 1
    F = Function of the contact person in the company
    4 = Name 4
    3 = Name 3
    H = Different city
    R = Region
    T = District
    L = Name of country
    C = Postal code
    T = District
    7 = Street 3 (field STR_SUPPL2)
    I = Street 5 (field LOCATION)
    8 = Street 4 (field STR_SUPPL3)
    6 = Street 2 (field STR_SUPPL1)
    L = Country
    C = Postal code
    2 = Name 2
    B = PO Box
    S = Street or PO Box
    5 = c/o name
    N = Name (and title) of a person
    D = Department
    O = City"
    These are the only fields that the address node can use, and does not include any phone or e-mail details.

    In the telephone number format pane in address book I am unable to have other formats, the only option I have is Custom. In tiger I had a few other options.

    To reinstall would I back up my addresses, delete Address Book, boot from install dvd and install Address Book
    I would certainly backup the addresses, but I wouldn't delete the AddressBook in case you have a problem reinstalling it.
    After all, your Address Book works and this problem is only a very slight detail to be bothered with, so copy it to another location rather than delete it in case you want to move it back again.
    Just insert your DVD and open it in Finder, and first look under Custom Install for AddressBook. If it is not there, then click on Software Restore and see if you can find it there to install.

    Hi Rajesh .... in case customer require specific information, you can also try using sap queries (trust me it is not as difficult as it sounds but the results are just great ;-):
    queries
    Table SZA1_D0100 have the following fields
    SMTP_ADDR (E-mail Address) ; TEL_NUMBER ; MOB_NUMBER ; FAX_NUMBER
    For address check table ADDR1_DATA
    Common join should be Vendor among these 2 tables

    I would delete all data from the phone and restore as new.  I assume the phone is unlocked.  Then I would get the SIM card from the carrier I want to use and activate the SIM with the carrier and po my phone number across.  After that I would use the SIM card in the phone and activate the phone using iTunes, a computer and the setup assistant that will pop up in iTunes and you should be good to go.  I don't know what you did when you got into the trouble you now have.

    You will get the telephoen numbers from ADR2 table,
    In KNA1 table you will get the Address number, ADRNR .... from this Address number, in ADR2 put this ADRNR then get the Phone number

    Hi Sobhan,
    There is an option beside the text box in customer master to enter the multiple values.
    The option is an arrow is there that is for multiple values.
    Click on that option and then click on new values(The option with icon + button).
    Enter your telephone number.
    Press enter.
    Similarly the same type of option is available for fax also.
    Enter your fax number and then press enter.
    Below that icon you will find a green coloured small box after entering means multiple values are there for that field.
