Problem in JSP Call ! Urgent

Hi All,
I am facing one issue while calling the jsp page from OAF page.
When I am calling the JSP from html page it is getting called, but when I am calling through OAF Page, the page is not getting called. Instead of a blank page opens.
The HTML which I am running to call this JSP is...
<html>
<head>
<title>Minimal Configurator Test</title>
<param name="ui_def_id">3420</param>
</head>
<script language="javascript" >
function init() {document.test1.submit();}
</script>
<body onload="init();">
<form
action="http://My URL/OA_HTML/CZInitialize.jsp"
method="post" id="test1" name="test1">
<input type="hidden" name="XMLmsg" value='<initialize>
<param name="database_id">some Id</param>
<param name="user">userName</param>
<param name="pwd">Password</param>
<param name="calling_application_id">708</param>
<param name="responsibility_id">22713</param>
<param name="ui_def_id">3980</param>
<param name="ui_type">DHTML</param>
<param name="organization_id">2</param>
<param name="inventory_item_id">261902</param>
</initialize>'>
</form>
<pre>
Loading...
</pre>
</body>
</html>
In MY OAF Page, I have created one Raw Text Bean and there I copied all the html code I have written, Then My JSP Page is not being called.
Other approach I already tried is, On Page Load in ProcessRequest I put the javascript code. In that case also I am getting blank page.
OABodyBean bodyBean = (OABodyBean) pageContext.getRootWebBean();
String javaS = "javascript:submitForm('DefaultFormName',8,{'database_id':' database_id','user':'user','pwd':'pwd','calling_application_id':'calling_application_id', 'responsibility_id':'responsibility_id','ui_def_id':'ui_def_id','ui_type':'ui_type','organization_id':'organization_id','inventory_item_id':'inventory_item_id'});window.location='http://MyUrl/OA_HTML/CZInitialize.jsp';";
bodyBean.setOnLoad(javaS);
Any pointers will be of great help for me.
Thanks
Anoop

I guess there is some problem with your javascript code..
javascript:submitForm('DefaultFormName',8,{'database_id':' database_id','user':'user','pwd':'pwd','calling_application_id':'calling_application_id', 'responsibility_id':'responsibility_id','ui_def_id':'ui_def_id','ui_type':'ui_type','organization_id':'organization_id','inventory_item_id':'inventory_item_id'});window.location='http://MyUrl/OA_HTML/CZInitialize.jsp';
Check this as well in your html page.

  • Java script problem in JSP called thru servlet

    when jsp page is displayed thru a servlet in following way the java scripts built in that JSP page are not working.
    ServletContext sc = getServletContext();
         RequestDispatcher rd = sc.getRequestDispatcher(url);
         rd.include(req, res);
    how can i enable these java scripts?

    Most probably you have something like this:
    <script language="JavaScript1.2" src="menu.js"></script>
    The bit that is probably causing the problem is the src attribute.
    Its a common issue when using the request dispatcher
    You request "/servlets/myServlet"
    it forwards to "/jsp/myJSP"
    You try and access a resource using a relative URL.
    however, the browser knows nothing about the forward being done - it thinks that the URL is /servlets/myServlet, when you want it to be /jsp/myJSP.jsp
    So if you access menu.js it will look in /servlets/menu.js instead of /jsp/menu.js (example only)
    to fix
    1 - Don't use relative links. Ie use /scripts/menu.js to import the script
    2 - use a <base> tag <base href="http://www.mywebsite.com/jsp/> This tells a web page where to resolve relative references from.
    Hope this helps,

  • Urgent Solution needed--Problem in JSP compilation with JDK 1.5 and JDK 1.6

    Hi,
    I m using JDK 1.5 and Tomcat 5.0 the problem is that after starting server when I m going to access my application at that time instead of displaying HomePage it directly display the blank page on screen.

    The exception logged in Tomcat Log is given below

    After getting this kind of error I have analyzed my code furhter then I came to know that there was problem with static include tag.
    In my jsp page I have used following line which is the main cause of error
    <%@ include file="top.jsp" %>If I ommit this line then it is working properly.
    Instead of static include I have used jsp:include also.
    Still I m getting same problem.
    We have to migrated from JDK 1.5 to 1.6 and Tomcat 5.0.28 to 6.0.14, still same problem is there.
    We have tried a lot but didnt get success to overcome this problem.
    If anybody having any solution then ur each reply will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance..........!!!!!!!

    Hi "mshanu" and "amit" Thanks for ur replies Here I m posting the code of "top.jsp"........!!!!
    <%@ page errorPage="errordisplay.jsp"%>
    <table cellpadding="0"
           cellspacing="0"  height=50 width=780>
           <tbody>
             <tr class="header">
               <td class="logo"><IMG SRC="assets/Logo.gif" BORDER=0 ALIGN=top></td>
               <td align="right"><span class="applicationtitle"><%@ include file="/contents/logo.htm" %></span><br>
               <span class="companyname"><%@ include file="/contents/companyname.htm" %></span></td>
             </tr>
            </tbody>
    </table>To include top.jsp I have tried
    <jsp:include page="top.jsp" flush="true">
    </jsp:include>
             AND
    <%@ include file="top.jsp"%>but none of this worked.
    If I remove the include then It is working properly.
    But I need inluded file too so that I am wondoring for the solution.
    This problem seems very wiered to me. I dont know why it is happening.
    This problem is started only when I used the TOMCAT 6.14.
    Is it the bug of TOMCAT 6.14 or What somebody Plz help.
    I got stuck here.........!!!!!!!!!!
    It doesn't seem any problem with top.jsp. As per my thinking the problem is there in include due to that it doesn't compile the JSP page in Tomcat 6.0.
    Earlier I am having same code running on the Tomcat 5.0.28 and JDK 1.5.0.
    But problem occured when I have used Tomcat 6.x...!!

    My problem is Turkish language problem in JSP.
    If my jsp page use database applications such as push or pull data to my SQL 2000 database or call some datas from database, some data which contains turkish caracter are seen wrong. suc as is to ??????
    what is the problem?
    But important point is that; this is only Database data which come from sql database. But I can see JSP data or HTML data truly.
    I try different method to solve in JSP page;
    1-request.setEncoding("iso-8859-9");
    or
    request.setCharacterEncoding( "windows-1250" );
    2-
    @contentType="text/html; charset=iso-8859-9"

    con= DriverManager.getConnection(url, kulad, sifre);
    I am using tomcat 5.0.19,
    is there any way to solve this problem... Please help......

    Were you ever able to solve your problem?
    I have a similar problem.
    My database is storing the characters correctly and they can be viewed in Java, but when I try to convert them to unicode using:
    String inputUtf8 = new String(input.getBytes(),charset);
    it works for almost all characters, but some come through as noncharacter "boxes."
    The characters that come through as boxes in iso8859-1 are the ones that are in the "supplementary" character range of that set, such as:
    - curved left and right quotes
    - "TM" symbol
    - bullets
    - m dash and n dash
    (see this table: http://www.csgnetwork.com/htmlchrset.html for a more complete list of the supplementary characters )
    Any idea what I need to do to have these characters show up properly?

  • Bizarre thread problem with JSP

    I'm having a strange problem using JSPs whereby a single method call to a
              bean results in 2 execute threads being created each executing the method
              called.
              I have a bean reference in the jsp that has session scope declared like this
              (package names left off):
              <jsp:useBean id="deployment" class="Deployment" scope="session">
              <% deployment.init(application); %>
              </jsp:useBean>
              I've also set the isThreadSafe value to "false" (since I'm trying to
              prevent/figure out what's going on):
              <%@ page isThreadSafe="false" %>
              Within the JSP body I have code that makes the method call on the deployment
              bean:
              if (action.equals("Send"))
              int status = deployment.send();
              Then, within my form I have:
              <INPUT TYPE="image" SRC="../images/Deploy.gif"
              onClick="confirmAndSubmit('Send',
              'Deploying Application to server <%=
              deployment.getServer() %>')"/>
              Where the functions called are:
              function setActionSubmit(action) {
              document.deployForm.actionPerformed.value = action;
              document.deployForm.submit();
              function confirmAndSubmit(action, promptString) {
              if (confirm(promptString)) {
              setActionSubmit(action);
              Tracing, thread dumping, et al, have confirmed that although I have a single
              session, I end up with two threads each executing the deployment.send()
              method.
              Any ideas? I'm stumped.
              Thanks,
              Jim

    I found the problem, although I don't completely understand the behavior:
              The FORM was not handling the submit event, leaving it to the whim of the
              browser to have its way with the event. Although it sometime ended up
              having two threads serving the request, it didn't always.
              The solution was to put an onSubmit=="return false;" in the <form>
              Hope this helps someone else.

  • Problem with multiple calls to hr_infotype_operation in a loop

    Hi,
    Im using infotyp 2003 with the following situation. For a date, e.g. 2011/07/20 and a person_nr I have several time entries, like 08:00-09:00, 10:00-12:00, 15:00-17:00. Now I read the entries with  HR_READ_INFOTYPE and store them back unmodified with hr_infotype_operation in a loop in the same report.
    data: i_p2003 type standard table of p2003.
    CALL FUNCTION 'HR_READ_INFOTYPE'
             EXPORTING
    *          TCLAS                 = 'A'
               pernr                 = person_nr
               infty                 = '2003'
             BEGDA                 = '20110720'
              ENDDA                 = '20110720'

    *          LEGACY_MODE           = ' '

               infty_tab             =  i_p2003
            EXCEPTIONS
              INFTY_NOT_FOUND       = 1
              OTHERS                = 2.
    loop at i_p2003 assigning <p>.
    CALL FUNCTION 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'
            EXPORTING
              infty         = '2003'
              number       = person_nr
              validityend   = '20110720'

              key           = personaldatakey
            EXCEPTIONS
              OTHERS        = 0.
    endloop.
    the first call to hr_infotype_operation succeeds but the following operations fail because of collision. This example is stupid, I know, but it shows the core of a problem I have in a more complex report.
    I face the problem that several calls to HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION cause a collision error even if there cannot be a collision because the data are unchanged.
    Any hints on this.
    Regards,
    JOP

    Hi, you must execute a 'BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE' before 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION' and a 'HR_EMPLOYEE_DEQUEUE' after.
    See next example:
    Bloqueo del empleado
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_EMPLOYEE_ENQUEUE'
      EXPORTING
        NUMBER = PERNR.
    IF SY-SUBRC IS INITIAL.
    Si se pudo bloquear el empleado intenta
    insertar el infotipo
    CALL FUNCTION 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION'
      EXPORTING
        INFTY         = '2001'
        NUMBER        = P0001-PERNR
        SUBTYPE       = i_p2001-subty
        VALIDITYEND   = acdate
        VALIDITYBEGIN = acdate
        RECORD        = i_p2001
        RECORDNUMBER  = '000'
        OPERATION     = 'INS'
        TCLAS         = 'A'
        DIALOG_MODE   = '0'
        NOCOMMIT      = ' '
      IMPORTING
        RETURN        = I_RETURN
        KEY           = I_KEY.
    IF SY-SUBRC IS INITIAL.
      VARGT = 'Y'.
    ELSE.
      VARGT = 'N'.
    ENDIF.
    No se hace COMMIT debido que el estandar lo realiza
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'.
    Desbloqueo del empleado
    CALL FUNCTION 'HR_EMPLOYEE_DEQUEUE'
    EXPORTING
    NUMBER = PERNR.
    Regards,
    Diego.

    Let me give you a slightly different perspective than everyone else here.  You are using an unsecured wireless network, which means that all your network traffic is easily available for viewing by anyone else using that network.  That's bad.  Very bad, for you, unless you absolutely trust everyone who lives within range of this network.  So stop doing it.
    As to the Mac not connecting, wireless networking is simply too complex for any reasonable answer without more information.  There are many possible error points, and as often as not it's the Mac that can connect and the Windows PC that cannot.  Since you can't give us any information about the configuration of the neighbor's network, and can't make any changes to it, we can't do much to help you troubleshoot it.

  • Problems with a call transaction

    Hi, I'm having some problems with a call transaction and I cannot understand why. I put A in the mode, and I am seeing the dynpros and I am pressing enter it works perfectly but when I use mode N it tells me that there is not information for one of the dynpros and it doesn't work. Does anybody know the problem and how to solve it??

  • Problem using jsp:include from inside a custom tag

    Hi, All !
              I have a problem using <jsp:include> from inside a custom tag. Exception is:
              "java.lang.ClassCastException: weblogic.servlet.jsp.BodyContentImpl"
              Apparently, weblogic tries to cast BodyContentImpl to JspWriterImpl and
              could not do this. Is it a bug, since in the 1.1 spec is said: "The
              BodyContent is a subclass of JspWriter that can be used to process body
              evaluations so they can retrieved later on."
              My code is:
              <wfmklist:items>
              <jsp:include page="item.jsp" flush="true"/>
              </wfmklist:items>

    This is an area of contention with WL. It is not so tolerant with regards to
              the spec. I spent several days recently trying to convince it to accept the
              specification in regards to bodies and includes and it appears to have
              successfully rebuffed my efforts.
              Frankly, this is very disappointing. It appears that some shortcuts were
              taken on the way to JSP 1.1 support, and the result is a very hard-coded,
              inflexible implementation. As I have not seen the implementation myself, I
              hate to assume this, however one could posit that the term "interface" was a
              foreign concept during the implementation, other than as some annoying
              intermediary reference requiring an immediate cast to a specific Weblogic
              class, which in turn is apparently required to be final or have many final
              methods, as if being optimized for a JDK 1.02 JIT.
              I am sorry that I don't have any positive suggestions other than to use a
              URL object to come back in an execute the necessary "include" directly. You
              lose all context (other than session) and that can cause its own problems.
              However, you can generally get the URL approach to work, and you will
              hopefully avoid further frustration.
              Peace,

  • A upper/lower sensitive problem on RFC call

    hello, everyone.
    Maybe it is not the proper forum to discuss this topic, but I think the ABAP programinig Forum is the best forum in SDN, which has the most vistors.
    So please help me solve this problem, if possible.
    I meet a problem on RFC call through dotnet connector.
    There is a RFC deploy on the R3 server.
    And a portal application using dotnet connector to call the RFC from web side.
    The problem is when input some string like 'AbCdEf' from web side, transfer to the sap side, the RFC always get the string like 'ABCDEF'.
    I think it dues to the auto upper convert by the RFC call, and if in SE37, we can check the upper/lower box to solve it.
    But how can I solve it in this portal case?
    Can I get original string in the RFC side?
    How we can get the string as the original content 'AbCdEf' in RFC side?
    any suggestion is welcome,
    and I'm waitting for your answer, thanks a lot

    Hi zhenglin,
    To expand on what Siggi said, fields in the structures of your RFC parameters are based on data elements which in turn are based on domains.
    An attribute on the domain is "Lowercase'.  Unless this is checked, the field will always be treated as uppercase, and you will get the effect you described.
    Please check the domain of the field in question, to ensure that the "lowercase" flag is checked.
    Cheers,
    Brad

  • Problem -repeated automatic calls thro' maintenance plan

    Hi Friends
    I m facing a problem in CS module . Repeated service orders being getting created through each maintenace plan for the 3 type of service order which are created by us .
    problem description : repeated call thro' maintenance plan in every year even after giving restriction of one year as a SCHEDULING PERIOD.
    Preface :
    1 . Currently we are creating single cycle plan for individual or multiple equipment through mainteance plan category service management
    2. We  are expecting only one call for each equipment plan in yar , however it is getting created in next year automatically
    IF it is possible , please let me know
    Thanks in advace
    Thnks & Rgds
    Amitabh

    Hi Pradhan,
    You can use the indicator Completion requirement in the Maintenance plan scheduling parameters. If you set this indicator, the system only generates the next call object once the preceding call object has been confirmed.
    Go through this documentation-
    For call objects which already exist, this means the following:
    The next order is only created once the preceding order has been technically completed.
    The next notification is only created once the preceding notification has been completed.
    The next service entry sheet is only created once the preceding service entry sheet has been accepted.
    Reward if cleared and close the thread.

  • How do jsp call ejb in weblogic 6.0?

    I put the jsp in the DefaultWebApp_Server folder and put the ejb jar file in
              the applications folder.
              I use the administrator console to deploy the ejb.
              The ejb package is 'com.test.bmp'.
              Howerver, the jsp can't import the ejb package and can't find the ejb class.
              How do the jsp call the ejb?

    Any classes that are used by the JSP should be in the WEB-INF\classes
              directory. So your bean classes could be in two places if they are
              referenced in a jsp. Make sure the classes are identical.
