Problem In "MAINTAINING VERSIONS"

Dear Frends,,
IN OKEQ,while i am maintaining Versions,,,it is not get saved,and it is asking to run the background processing.Kindly give me the solution.what will happen if i dont maintain the versions.

As Mayank said correctly, run it in Background and wait for some time, it would work. There is no alternative for that, it is standard SAP feature.

    I try to create 2013 FY in "Setting for Each FY" in OKEQ - Maintain Versions unfortunately I have created Null FY, try to delete Null FY on the time it will ask Job schedule, I have cancelled the job & reopen Maintain Versions (OKEQ) screen on the time system populated the msg "Background Job still running - Data can be displayed only"
    In Settings for Each FY screen there is no New Entries button, all FY are blocked status, changes was not allowed.
    How can I resolve it.

    Yes you are correct, on the time of deletion it will ask Background Job Process, for immediate deletion must & should select "NO".
    While "Settings for Each FY" screen populates message "Background Job Still Running - Data Can Be Displayed Only" open  screen in display mode enter the command "=KILL" in command bar press enter, then you will allow to changes get New Entries button also.
    Problem is solved

  • Problems with Italian version of Dreamweaver [subject edited by moderator]

    The italian version of this software doesn't match with the configurations in the tutorials and it's impossible to follow the procedure to learn how to use it!! I've spent more than two hours just to put the "split working area" in vertical with no results. No way to open the same tools. And then, where are the assets files to download??? I think it could be a wonderful idea give us something easier to learn, simply having giving us the right correspondence between the software (open for the first time after the download) and the video tutorials…please, in this condition I cannot work and so how can I do?

    Dear Murray,
    unfortunately I can't go on with this program…it's impossible without the CSS file showed on the tutorial…I've also tried to find something on the web and I've tried to install Adobe Widget Browser but it doesn't work!
    So I've lost a lot of hours and I'm very frustrated and disappointed…and then the Dreamweaver CC version I've downloaded from Creative Cloud is different from the one in the tutorials, so I can follow all the indications without stop and start searching somewhere the things…
    In this condition it's impossible to learn how to use this software…it's an incredible waste of time…and paying for that!!

  • Problems with current version of AIR. Won't load and also can't uninstall

    I have recently purchased a new Mac and loaded the most recent version of AIR but now when I try to run it I keep getting the following message
    This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found.
    Please download the latest version of the runtime from

    or contact the application author for an updated version.
    I am also getting this message when I try and run the uninstaller so I can I can try and re-install.

    I had AIR 3 on my MacBook Pro before I updated it to Lion. I use AIR 3 to run McMillan Study guides Master your CDCs. when I updated my mac to lion and tried to run the application the application couldn't find AIR 3 on my mac. So I uninstalled it and tried to install it again. when I tried to install it the installer program doesn't open. please help me this program is crucial for my upgrade training.

    Is this the error you are getting when you are installing AIR 3.0?  Or is this the error you are getting after you've already installed AIR 3.0 and attempting to run AIR applications?  If it's the latter, which applications are you trying to run?  Can you please send us your logs so that we can investigate further?  Thanks!

    Had the same problem as you. App would terminate when launched.
    Solution to working You Tube app:
    -Go to playstore
    - Uninstall app (it doesn't remove the app, only removes the update)
    - "Et Voila", working again.
    This doesn't correct the problem, it's just a workaround for you to be able to use youtube app again.

  • Reader 9 - problem with pdf version 1.0 and descenders

    2 big problems over here:
    * Reader9 will not properly open files created as pdf version 1.0/1.x
    all text is cut off about 2/3 of the way down, whether or not in fields.
    * Any pdf file version above 1.0created with any version of GhostScript does not have the previous issue, However - no descenders of any font are coming out.
    We do not have either problems with any version of Reader prior to 9

    Hi, so did I.  It seems to be a huge problem with everyone.  I opened a folder on desktop and called it target.  I copied all my songs into that folder.
    I uninstalled Itunes completely.  Rebooted.  Then I installed a fresh install.
    I then dragged all the songs back to Itunes and it worked.  I hope that helps. 
    I read an article the other day and apple is suppose to come out with some genius fix for this problem, it really seems to be global.

  • SQL Server 2000 problem with MII Version 12.1.8 Build(24) Reconnecting

    Hi,
    I have a problem using XMII Version 12.1.8 Build(24) with com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver JDBC driver with SQL 2000.
    The problem we have is the machine where the SQL server is installed on reboot as per schedule once a week. When the server comes back online, XMII  seems to get problem to reconnect correctly. Sometimes it reconnects perfectly, sometimes not.
    When it fails, the only way to fix the problem is to uncheck the 'Enabled' checkbox, then save the data server, then check the 'Enabled' checkbox, then save again.
    When the reconnect issue happens, uploading messages to SAP fail 100% of time, but downloading Control Recipes  from SAP works 50% of time. For example, some PO's can be processed correctly, some others not, causing data losses due to poor data buffering(buffering doesn't cover connection time out). The failed PO's are marked as 'Sent' into CO53 SAP transaction but in fact, are lost in a hole causing data losses.

    The only way we have thought to workaround this problem is to develop our own buffering method into XMII workbench puting all data received from SAP or SQL insert query into an Oracle temp database. We should probably be able to fix this by this way, but it reprensents many costs and efforts, so we try to avoid this for sure.
    Please, if you can provide us a patches or hints about how to fix this, it could be very appreciated because loosing data is very anoying.

    The validation query is in place and the system works very well 99% of the time.
    When the SQL server machine reboot each sunday morning, during the time the machine is rebooting, the data server lose the connection which is normal, but when the machine comes back alive(less then 10 minutes), the data server seems to stay in an 'in-between' state showing the connection status 'Running' but showing also error messages posted in the orginial post in Netweaver logs. So at first look the data server is up and running and reconnected to SQL server after the reboot, but in fact, following these errors after the SQL server machine has rebooted, some data are processed correctly from SAP (Control Recipes) and some not.
    The problems looks like very similar to threadID 1596329.

  • Problem in Axis2 version service

    We have done a full installation of BOBJ Entreprise Premium XI 3.1 SP 2 on a Microsoft 2003 Server.
    The installation is done with all default settings (ports) and MySQL is also installed.
    We have installed Tomcat as Web Server (5.5.20) and also deployed BOBJ to Internet Information Server (IIS).
    When we try to validate the Query as a Web Service installation (http://dkcphdb10:8080/dswsbobje/ - click on Validate) we get the following message:
    - There was a problem in Axis2 version service , may be the service not available or some thing has gone wrong. But this does not mean system is not working ! Try to upload some other service and check to see whether it is working.

    We have not been able to validate the Query as a Web Service yet. However, even though we receive this error, we have not seen any errors in the functionality of BOBJ Enterprise so far. We have been able to create a Query as a web service and use it in Xcelsius. We had some issues trying to connect to the Query as a web service from Xcelcius, but we found out that it was related to the way we wrote the hostname in the WSDL field in the Xcelsius query as a web service connection. In the beginning we just wrote it as "hostname:8080.......", but we solved the problem by using the full hostname such as this "http://hostname.domain:8080......."
    I don't know if this helps you, but it solved our problem with Query as a web service. If we run into other problems regarding the axis2 I will return to this thread!

    But for some users I am getting as 10 values
    and for some users I am getting it as 20 values ..

    The ability of changing attributes via User settings depends on the role
    assigned to the user and whether this role has the appropriate rights to
    change the attributes.
    In this regard, check the customizing below:
    SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings -> Roles ->
    Maintain Attribute Access Rights by Role.
    Here you define which parameter can be changed depending on the role
    assigned to user in question.
