Problem in Mapping RefCursors(in/out parameter) and Collections(in/out)

Can anyone help to solve the proble listed below as it is affecting the business process
The API for A is listed below. It takes Oracle Object types as input/output.
PROCEDURE A(
p_serviceOrder IN ServiceOrder,
p_serviceID IN OUT p_sm_type.ServiceID,
p_serviceOrderID OUT p_sm_type.ServiceOrderID,
returnStatus OUT CallStatus);
The ServiceOrder and CallStatus are Oracle Object types.
The wrapper procedure for this api would be something like the example with pseudo-code below.
PROCEDURE B(
p_serviceOrder IN REF CURSOR,
p_serviceID IN OUT p_sm_type.ServiceID,
p_serviceOrderID OUT p_sm_type.ServiceOrderID,
returnStatus OUT REF CURSOR) {
Map from REF CURSOR p_serviceOrder To Oracle Object for ServiceOrder;
Map from other data types to local variables;
Call A(pass the parameters here and get output);
Map output CallStatus to its equivalent REF CURSOR variable;
Return CallStatus (and other OUT parameters if any) as REF CURSORs;
It will be highly needful for the solution as it is affecting the business flow requirement.

register this parameter as out parameter.

Field mapping problem using EntityManager.refresh(...) and @SecondaryTable

I am experiencing an exception indicating a missing mapping for a field. My problem is that I have a mapping! I suspect the problem has something to do with the fact the field in question is also the @PrimaryKeyJoinColumn. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug in the refresh() method code since the find() method works with no problem? Thanks in advance.

What database are you using? My guess is that the database you are using returns field names in Uppercase. While the database may not be case sensitive, most databases will convert the field names to either all upper or lower case when returning the metadata - which associates the fields to the values. In this case, it is looking for a value for "issue_id" in the returned results, when I suspect that the database returned a value for "ISSUE_ID". Try having your column names match what the database will return and see if you still get problems.
The other part to this problem is that it does not appear mapped correctly. The primarykeyJoincolumn isn't using primary key fields (CUSIP_nbr is specified as the id), and you have a join table also using the "issue_id" field, so it really should be the id. Either way, the Secondary table is specifying f_ISSUE.issue_id to be a foreign key to f_COUPON_INFO.issue_id, and so the getFkIssueID annotation should be marked insertable=true, updateable =true and the annotation on getIssueID marked insertable=false, updatable=false,since it is set through the f_COUPON_INFO.issue_id field. Fixing this will also likely resolve the issue - the error says it can't find a mapping for the f_COUPON_INFO.issue_id but from looking at the code, what I believe it means is that it can't find a writable mapping. Reading this over again, it looks very confusing but I dont know if I can explain it much better. The field f_COUPON_INFO needs to be writeable and set by the application because you have marked it as controlling the field in f_ISSUE. The field in f_ISSUE needs to be read only, because the value is set/controlled by the value in f_COUPON_INFO.

That was probably caused by your Firewall blocking the newly installed version of Firefox.

Use the sim tool that came with your phone or a safety pin and just insert it into the hole at the side of the sim tray and push it in and then pull it out. It is no more difficult than that and then just close it again.

Problems with Maps 2.0, favorites look-up and adre...

I have the latest version of Nokia Maps (v2.0 wk26 b02) installed on my N82 some days ago. But now i have problems with adress search. I often notice that adresses that i try to search for, returns no results. This problem appears even if i can see the see the adress on the map, and even if i am connected to a network.
And if i sometimes find an adress, and try to the function "show location on map", nothing happens...
This also apply to some of the favorites that i saved earlier. For instance i have saved several places where my family live, but only one of two them can is now working as they did before. When i try the same function "show location on map", nothing happens...
I even try to save new locations but the problem is still there. When i try to show the locations on map nothing happens.
Is it only me that have this problem? Is there anyone that have an solution to this problem, or is it a bug that comes with the latest version og Nokia Maps?

Hi again.
After a long time with trying and failing with solving this problem, and installed the latest maps 2.0 application all over again, and even installing the 1.0 application nothing helped.
I even updated the firmware on the phone, but nothing helped. Nothing helped at all.
But suddenly, with all these mapsproblems something else happened to. You know the multimediabutton on the front, (the one that is a little higher than the others) suddenly wouldn't work at all. If i pushed it the dislplay only "blinked" for a second, and then returned to the normal display again.
So to solve all problems i decided to use the *#7370# function to reset the phone completely (after i backed up my data of course). Suddenly everything is working again.
After this i upgraded to the maps 2.0 latest, and installed all my applicatons again. I can now search adresses again and see them on the map, i can save favourites and view them on the map....
And now my multimediabutton is back to normal again aswell.
So the problem is now solved :-)

Problem with Map Loader 3.0.28.0 and 5800XM

Hi all, i have a problem with maps upload to my mobile, whenever i start Map Loader i see a message: You have connected at least one phone (Soft) without a Maps drive. Either you are using an old Map version - .. - or have never started your Maps application... I use USB PC-Suite mode, I have had run Maps application on my phone before i try to connect Map Loader, the Maps version installed on the phone is v3.03 10wk01 b05 - so that's obviously not a reason!! Now i can't install new maps anymore - i just can click this error window away and choose some maps, they would be downloaded from the Internet, but they would not appear on my mobile! With a previous version of the map loader (don't know the version number any more, and previous maps version on the phone, i have no problem) I also need a link to Maps Updater due the Nokia site malfunction - couldn't find this software anymore.... sorry my poor english :-)

Problem solved! The STUPID software searchs for ALL mass storage devices attached to your computer, so I got error messages all the time until I unplug my USB Hard drive.
Thank you Nokia guys, your were great help by solving this problem .....
By the way, the STUPID software doesn't shows the maps that would be all ready installed on the phone, and you couldn't say that the upload of the maps was really successful until you waisting your time watching the progress bar to the end.
I wouldn't be suprise if you can install the same map twice so it takes the twice space....

Problem in mapping GP parameters and process completion

I have a block which is sequential and it contains:
1. action ( the first screen of the process)
2. an alternative block ( 4 actions)
3. when i run the process, following happen:
    a. the first screen opens up with proper details
    b. on click of button, second screen as well opens up. But the data that gets passed is only the gp single attributes. Any tabular structure data doesnt get passed.
    c. on second screen, if i click reject, it displays the last screen as per the result state set, but again no data gets passed ( in this not even the single attributes)
    d. on second screen, if i click accept, it goest to the third screen as per the result state set, but no structure data gets passed. Only single attributes are displayed.
    e. on the second screen, when i click next button, it doesnt display the thrid screen, just a message that action is completed. Whereas, ideally it should take the user to the fourth screen.
4. i have mapped all the attributes in the alternative block.
5. when i created sequential block, in that as well, all the attributes of first action and alternative block were grouped. ( whats the difference between group and propose consolidation functionality)
6. i have set the targets in the result states of second and third screens.
Second screen has 2 conditions: if approved, goes to third screen, and if rejected, it goes to the last summary screen.( both happening, but data not getting passed)
Third screen has only one result state - success. for this also , i have set the target as fourth screen, but it doesnt appear.( not happening)
Can anyone please help in this regard.

   The Hierachy of Action in Sequential block and Action in Alternative block is different.

create the Sequential block and Alternative block in the process level and u map the Attributes in the process level.The Attributes will be mapped in the Process Level.The Attributes will be mapped both in Process level and in Block level if it is in same Hierachy level.

How to change default value of a parameter and LOV attached to a parameter

Hi All
I am new to discoverer reports and I need to accomplish the following tasks:
1. Need to change the SQL query of a discoverer report
2. Need to change the default value of parameter ( from constant to current month). In the discoverer plus responsibility when I open the report and go to tools>>parameter>>edit
I can see the constant default value given there. On the right hand side there is a drop down which says 'Value'. I guess if i need to put a SQL as defaul value I need to change the drop down to sql or something and then put the SQL. Problem is the drop down is froezen and I cannot change it.
Even if I try to create a new parameter/report.
3. Need to change the LOV associated to the item on which the parameter is based.
I have the discoverer plus responsibility attached to myself and do not have the discoverer administrator tool (desktop developer tool like forms 6i). My questions are:
1. Can I change the SQL query by using discoverer plus responsibility or do I need discoverer administrator tool?
2. Any help on how to get the default value from an SQL query? currently it is a constant value.
3. Is there any way to figure out is the LOV is madeup of fixed constant values (like independednt value set) or they are fetched from some sql query(table validated value sets)?
Any pointers/solutions will be highly appriciated!!!

Need to change the SQL query of a discoverer reportThe discoverer generate the SQL according to the item, calculation and conditions designed in the worksheet.
You cannot edit a specific worksheet SQL.
In order to change the SQL you need to change the worksheet using the "Edit-> worksheet" from the menu.
To change the SQL generated inside the folders you need to do that using the administrator.
Need to change the default value of parameterYou cannot use SQL statements for the parameter default value. it is not supported. if you need default you can use only constant (as it was). otherwise you can set the parameter to be optional and then add to this condition an OR saying that <item>= NVL(:Parameter,<your default>)
as <your default> you can use calculations so that if for example you want the current date you will create a calculation containing: SYSDATE.
Is there any way to figure out is the LOV is madeup of fixed constant values (like independednt value set) or they are fetched from some sql query(table validated value sets)?They are based on SQL, even they are const then you will see it as
select 'a','b'... from dual
you can find the LOV (called item classes) in the administrator.
Go to the item your condition is based on and see its properties.
In the properties you should see the item class it uses.
Close the properties and go to the item classes tab, search for this item class and figure the folder it came from.
This is the folder you need to change in order to change the LOV.
Hope it helped a bit, you sure asked several big questions...

I am a new bee to dac.
Need help in modifying mapping parameters of out the box mapping, which is invoked by DAC task.
We got a requirement to edit mapping parameter. When I go and see parameter under mappings tab in a mapping, I could not see any values in it.
But when I set any value, and validate it. It is successful.
Is it right way to do it?
What my concern is, When I initially go and see parameter values under maapings tab in a mapping, they are blank.
Where is it storing these values?

If you modify mapping then u have to create new task in dac and dac itself craete parameter file at run time. if you want to add more parameters then do it in dac system parameters tab.

Problem in mapping remoteobject on server side

Hello all
I am trying to use remoteobjects in Flex and PHP via Zend_AMF. I am having problem in mapping the data object in flex with the one in PHP.
Here's my code....

     serviceRO = new RemoteObject();
     serviceRO.endpoint = "http://localhost/sampleproj/public/";
     serviceRO.destination = "zend";
     serviceRO.source = "MyService";
     serviceRO.addEventListener(FaultEvent.FAULT, faultListener);
     serviceRO.getData.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT, resultListener);
Now, here's the server side directory structure that works for me....
webroot
+ sampleproj
++ public
+++ index.php (index file for the webapp)
+++ MyService.php (this is the service class)
+++ VOAuthor.php (this is the Value Object class)
Since the index file, and the service file and value object are all in same directory, it works.
This is what DOESN'T work....
webroot

+++ MyService.php (this is the service class)
++ vos
+++ VOAuthor.php (this is the Value Object class)
++ public
+++ index.php (index file for the webapp)
The error that I get is:
Channel.Connect.Failed error
Here's little of something that's going on in index.php

The problem turned out to be in the php code.
Here's how I changed it

Problem in mapping -Guided procedures

Hi All,
I have a interactive form parameter called Price of type decimal in Guided procedure, and i have a BAPI parameter StdPrice of type decimal. when i tried to group these two parameters the "Group" button gets disabled. When i tried by checking Ignore types i was able to group the parameters but once i save the action and look back its ungrouped again.
Is there any difference between the BAPI decimal parameter and Adobe interactive form decimal parameter?
Note : EP Version 7.0 and SP13, Adobe Live Cycle Designer 7.1

Connection to the Ovi Maps server times out

Hi,
I've been having a lot of problems downloading individual country maps using the Ovi Suite. Occasionally it works, but 95% of the time, the download seems to start ("Preparing") but after a few minutes, I get the following error message:
"Connection timeout
The connection to the Ovi Maps server timed out.
Try again."
System: Windows 7, Nokia Ovi Suite 2.2.0.241. My internet connection is fine.
Phone: E52, Ovi Maps v. 3.03
Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi Schorly,
You are right that when you try for maps update, the OVi Suite application connects to the maps server thru' you PC internet connection if you have already connected your PC to the internet.
There is no settings needs to be configured in OVi suite if you have your PC connected to internet already excluding the proxy user name and password entry (applies only if you need to authenticate yourself to the proxy server, leave it blank if not needed) under OViSuite -> Tools -> Options -> General
In the OVi Suite application login to your OVi account on the right hand side top of the window to make sure that your OVi suite application connects thru' your internet connection.
In case if you still have the issue of connecting to the maps server, you may have to re-try later as the server might get timed out due to overload

passing a procedure output(output should be a refcursor) and pass that refcursor values into a procedure in a package as input parameter and this value i want to use as join condition in my procedure ie. ename=refcursor.ename like this).That my exact question is how to pass refcursor values as in parameter
