Problem in matrix report

i make a matrix report and the data is arabic
when i make concurrent pdf or html the arabic is not appear as i want.
when i try to make a template i can't because the option is table or table/form.
what is the solution?

    I am using reports 6 and oracle 9i. I am trying to create a matrix report in which i want to show products as rows and dates as columns. Dates should be fixed 7 days any from to dates given by user. I have used two tables prd_plan_m and product_code. I want to show plan_no and plan_qty based on product_code and date. I want to show all the products as rows whether it has plan or not and 7 days columns shows as heading weather in this there is any plan or not.
    For this reason i have made this query.

    But this query shows duplicates rows. suppose one product_code in prd_plan_m has plan_qty shows one row and the row from product_code table also show the same row which have no plan qty.

    Hi, I am working on a matrix report with 9i Builder , the layout is as follows:

    How can I control the report so that the layout can be changed as follows?

    (x are the cross product values, a to e are the column headings, 1 to 2 indicate horizontal groups)

    You will need to include an additional column of your date column to your SQL statement.
    e.g Your original column - to_char(your_date_column,'Month') "Months Name".
    Add a new column - to_char(your_date_column,'MM') "Sort Column".
    In the Matrix Row, include this new column field also. In the Data Model, move this new column field to the top. Remove the Break Order property to NONE for your original date field (Months Name).

  • Page level total in a mulipage matrix report

    hi!
    I am facing a problem in marix reports because a very late change in customer requirement.he wants a page total at the end of every page in the report ,because these reports are matrix style,they involve cross product.i can get the grand total at the end of the report because the summary column works well at report level,but when i try to reset it at page level,at times it shows blank or generates an error that matrix report fetches everthing at report level and cannot generate results at page level.but now how do i get these page totals without changing these matrix reports.Plz reply ASAP

    What I want to do now is: instead of the Count values, I need to calculate the percentage of each week over the
    Count in Week1 so that each cell displays Count(Week2)/Count(Week1), Count(Week3)/Count(Week1), etc. What is the SSRS expression for that? I’m new to SSRS, Please help!

    I can't use your solution directly because I need to apply Sum function for each cell and the Sum function gives me error when I try to use it on the denominator

  • Matrix Report - REP-1813:Object object name too large to fit in matrix cell

    I had this problem when running a matrix report. The report details are as follow :
    Query : select department,work,salary from sal;
    matrix row field : department
    matrix column field : work
    matrix cell field : salary
    data inserted into table sal :
    department : 10
    work : clerk
    salary : 1000
    I had created the same record for 60 times. Meaning there are 60 records(with same data) in the table. When I run the report, I got the error. But, if I deleted some records, it worked fine.
    In fact, I had already changed the 'Vertical Elasticity' property for all repeating frames to 'Variable'.
    Could somebody please help me to solve this. It is urgent. Thanks in advance.

    Your problem is bacause the innermost fame which is printing salary per row&column is printed 60 times. (because the job & dep are same for all 60 records). You get this error when the inner most frame grows to next page. Try this with setting the max no.of records per page to some 38 or 30 depending on page size. You will get it without error.

    For the periods, create a seperate dummy query and then use it as column group in the multi query matrix.

    Modify the query and add (probably using UNION) dummy records for all columns needed in the matrix.

  • Matrix report in condensed mode in dot matrix printer

    How can we print a 10g matrix report in condensed mode in dot matrix printer? The dot matrix printer is a Epson LQ 1070+ printer. I am tried using a printer definition file and given printer codes in the report. The printing is not taking place in condensed mode. This method however is working for other reports. Could any one help?

    Hi all,
    This is to inform that I have myself found the solution. It is possible to print matrix report in condensed mode. The method for printing is same as for any other report. The mistake I made was not checking whether the .prt file is getting referred correctly. The DESFORMAT system parameter was getting populated through the calling form. By referring to the correct .prt file the problem got fixed.

  • Matrix Report with variable@incontext not working

    I had built a matrix report, using variable@incontext. I'm having a problem with my cell data. It seems that it is always using the value from the first record in the column instead of the actual value.
    ie in the example below, the data should make it come out like:

    but it's coming out like this (the data for John is wrong in column1 and 3 and the data for Joe is wrong in all columns) :

  • Formula Column in Matrix Report (Running Balance)

    Hi all. I hope somebody can help me.
    I am working on a matrix report using multi-query data models. The report has 2 groups in the horizontal axis and 3 groups in the vertical axis. The intersection is not just a single row but may consist of multiple rows.
    My problem is this. I want to create a column in the intersection which is obtained by using a column value from the lowest group in the vertical axis and a summary column obtained from the rows of the intersection.
    Here's what my report looks like:
    2002 (accross)
    2002(down) january february (accross)
    January (down) payments balance payments balance
    loan #1 10,000 500 9,000 200 8,800
    500
    loan #2 5,000 100 4,900 200 4,700
    February
    loan #3 3,500 0 3,500 50 3,450
    loan #4 4,200 0 4,200 0 4,200
    As you can see, the loans are grouped by month and year. And the payments are grouped for the month and year too.
    The data model is :
    For Query 1 (Vertical Axis),
    1st group - Loan Yr
    2nd group - Loan Mo
    3rd group - Loan # and amount
    For Query 2 (Horizontal Axis)
    1st group - Payment Yr
    2nd group - Payment Mo
    Intersection Group - Payment Amount
    My problem actually is how to compute for the running balance of the loan for each month in the horizontal axis. Ive already created a cross product summary to get the running total of the payments made for the month. I tried creating a formula column to for the running balance by subtracting it from the loan amount but i get the error "incompatible frequency"

    The problem is that you're trying to reference dimension columns(loan Amount) in the calculation of matrix cell values. You can only reference other matrix cell values or cross product columns (summary, formula, placeholders) when calculating matrix cell values. Try moving the (loan Amount) column down to the matrix cell - something like:
    For Query 1 (Vertical Axis),
    1st group - G_LoanYear(LoanYr)
    2nd group - G_LoanMonth(LoanMo)
    3rd group - G_LoanNumber(Loan#)
    For Query 2 (Horizontal Axis)
    1st group - G_PaymentYear(PaymentYr)
    2nd group - G_PaymentMonth(PaymentMo)
    Intersecion /Detail Group - G_Details(PaymentAmount, LoanAmount)
    Then create the following Matrix summary columns:
    A running summary - CS_Payments:
    - Product Order: G_LoanYear G_LoanMonth G_LoanNumber G_PaymentYear G_PaymentMonth
    - Source: PaymentAmount
    - Function: Sum
    - Reset At: G_LoanNumber
    The total amount per loan - CS_TotalPayment:
    - Product Order: G_LoanYear G_LoanMonth G_LoanNumber
    - Source: LoanAmount
    - Function: First
    - Reset At: G_LoanNumber
    The value of the loan after each payment - CF_Countdown:
    - Product Order: G_LoanYear G_LoanMonth G_LoanNumber G_PaymentYear G_PaymentMonth
    - PL/SQL Formula:

    You should then be able to display "CF_Payments" and "CF_Countdown" in the matrix cell to show how much has been paid and how much is still owed.
    You can still have another "loan amount" as a dimension column - you just don't need to use it when calculating the values in the cell.
