Problem in printing page totals in c/f and broughtforward manner

please can any body help me in print report in such a way that page totals in each and everypage and total of first page must me carrieforwarded and shoule be printed on as b/f in second page and second page total must be cumulative of amount carrieforwarded from first page and second page records.
that is in brought forwarfaded and carriefarwarded manner.
please suggest me any p&l sql code which help in this regard or oracle reports 6i feature.

Create a parameter say P1 with initial value 0
Create a Summary column CS1 at report level for the column EXPENDITURE, reset at PAGE
Create a Formula Column CF1, put the code
:P1 := :P1 + :CS1;
Return :P1;
Use the formula column CF1 to print Running Total and CS1 for page total.
Create another formula column say CF2 and put the code Return :CF1 in it. Use this column if you want to print the Carry Forward Total in every page.

When i try with https://lyncfrontend.domain.local:4443 and https://lyncfrontend.domain.com:4443 both opens but when i open the external domain name i get certificate .
ARR version installed is 3.0

In IIS ARR proxy server following server farms are added and configured as per link ttp://y0av.me/2013/07/22/lync2013_iisarr/
In proxy server had setup only following server farm : While running remote connectivity web service test : meet, dialin, lyncdiscover and lyncweb.
The client inside works fine internally and through vpn. Login with external client also working fine. But we are getting error in MRCA as follows.
a) While testing remote connectivity for lync getting error : The certificate couldn't be validated because SSL negotiation wasn't successful. This could have occurred as a result of a network error or because of a problem with the certificate installation.
Certificate was installed properly.
b) For remote web test under Lync throws error : A Web exception occurred because an HTTP 502 - BadGateway response was received from IIS7.

Problem with printing pages on my site...

Now try printing or "print preview" that same page. You will
see when you view it in print preview or print it out it only
prints the 1st page and then several blank pages. Also it shows up
all screwy. My print.css file is modified correctly so I'm not sure
why on earth it doesn't print anymore then the first page as well
as why it shows up all screwed up. Any ideas guys?

I have iMac OS 10.6.8 and FF 6.0.1 when I print pages, the type is large and does not print on the page. Safari does not have this problem. How do I fix this, or return to lower FF version ?

To clarify, when I print the text is so large that it exceeds the page width. I can print same doc using Safari without any problems

The sound seems very faint but can here static on playback.

I've lost the capability to print pages (e.g., from Amazon) and after uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, the problem persists.

I had to go to Internet Explorer to print an invoice copy from Amazon.com. I've never had to NOT use Firefox before to do this. I lost some of the icons, apparently, and one was the one for print.

HT4356 printing page from facebook using picture and airprint page in upper left quadrant with words and margin cut off

I have a ipad 4 with 6700 hp printer. I was told by support that the way to print a page from facebook was to take a picture of the page and then print the picture. When I do this the picture is printed in the upper left hand quadrant with part of the wording cut off. Is the only or best way to print from facebook and how can I fix the location of the print. Seems Hoaky to me

Well after weeks of anguish, trips to the apple store (not very professional ), calls to Apple support (no help), calls to HP support, they transfered me to airprint support who actually told me how to fix my problem. For an HP printer download from the app store HPAIO remote print. You have to search on AIO remote print. Installed this app and now I can make the print work like I would like. Good luck

Printing Grand Totals in Footer along with page total

I have a report which prints PO Header and PO Lines. For each page while iterating thru PO Lines I print page total in the footer.
Once all PO Lines are printed with page totals in the footer of each page, I want to print Grand total in the last page in the footer along with last page total. Currently my XML data has pre-computed grand total in the PO Header block.
The problem
I have wrapped header and lines inside <?start:body?> and <?end:body?> which allows me to print page totals outside the <?end:body?> tag.
I print page totals and "Continue" next to it in the footer. But
Finally when grand total comes into picture in the outer loop I want to replace "Continue" text with grand total value in the last page and print it as footer.
I tried to use xdoxlt:set_variable() function to flag a variable value to 1 when iteration happens in HEADER block and set it to 2 in inner loop of lines block. But the scope of the variable is confined between <?start:body?> and < ?end:body? and is not visible outside the <?end:body?> tag.
The logic I want to accomplish is
if var = 1 then
print page total and "Continue"
elsif var = 2 then
print page total and Grand Total.
end if
This logic doest work as the value of var is not visible outside the body tag.
I want to use this variable value to print footer which lies outside <?end:body?> tag with grand totalor page total
Please suggest if there is any other way I can accomplish this functionality. Can we use parameter and update it. Syntax for update parameter value is not clear in user guide.
Any help would be appreciated.

thanks for the info, i was trying to avoid this but had already reached the same conclusion.
everything else seems to be very time consuming and may not work correctly in the end.
we're on Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2 which has just been converted to utf-8 and is an Oracle On-Demand installation.
do you know if 5.6.3 of the publisher is supported and any ideas on how difficult it is to get it installed?

Problem with printing the correct "ical" pages.

I have only recently started using "iCal", on the cloud, having upgraded my laptops to "Lion" and my iPhone to "5", so that I have NOT experienced any of the "syncing" problems of which I have read elsewhere.
BUT, I do have an irritating problem, the solution to which, being a long-term Mac user, should be obvious.
The problem stems fronm the fact that I am located on the east coast of Australia, and my laptops know this.
The first, really daft, thing that I did was to create a whole lot of iCal entries, in iCloud, without noticing that the default timezone was "Pacific".
So, OK, I fixed that by going into my ID on iCloud and changing the timezone, and then editing every single event that I had entered at that point in time.
So, I then thought that I had beaten the beast, because I had only been printing "Weekly" calendars, which were OK.
Today, I decided to print some "daily" calendars, and the system WILL NOT PRINT THE CORRECT DATE.
My iCal entries are mainly to do with a trip that that starts on 1st August this year. I bring up iCal on the Mac, go to the print page, select 01 Aug 2012, and it prints 31 July 2012.
This happens whether I tick the "Timezone" preference in iCal on the Mac, or not.
What else should I do?

In the second page you can insert a command to set it to goto page 3,and an additional event in the command (only after the end of main window).
As soon as the main window ends in the second page...u will get the third and rest of the pages.
Keep the goto next page in PAge 1 as Page2
and in Page 2 as Page 2.

Problem with Page totals

I have a problem while displaying page totals using <?show-page-total:dt?>. It doesnot display any values. The requirement is to display the page total before a page break and a page can have a max of 20 lines. So, after 20 lines, there should be a total of the numerical value and there should be a page break.
I have restricted the number of lines per page using the <?if:position() mod 20 =0?> <xsl:attribute name="break-before">page</xsl:attribute> <?end if?> in a form field called FIXED_LINES before the end of the group as follows:
Contact : C1 ----- group by contract
Order Amount
For-each Order1 1000 FIXED_LINES End-for
Sum:1000
The sum has to be displayed beneath the table. To achieve this, i used the <?add-page-total:mt;'Amount'?> in the Amount field and <?show-page-total:mt?> in the place where sum has to be displayed beneath the table. This does not work. The <?add-page-total:mt;'Amount'?> seems to work but only <?show-page-total:mt?> does not work. I verified this by inserting the <?show-page-total:mt?> within the table before the (End for each) and it seems to work.
What am i missing here. How can i get rid of this issue. Kindly help.

Going to assume you are using a Table Node. Try using inserting a Program Lines Node into your Table Node. Within this Program Lines Node, accumulate a running total into a Global Variable. Display this Global Variable via a Text Node in the Table FOOTER event.

Printing problem, can't connect to Brother MFC-7420 and HP DJ130

I recently performed the 10.5.4 upgrade. I believe the problem I am having started then. When I try to print something to my Brother MFC-7420 I get a Printing Page 1, 24% completed message and it never finishes. I am also having issues with my Designjet 130. Both are connected with a USB cord and I have tried the usual powering off, connecting/disconnecting and removing/adding to printer control panel. My Epson printer connects and prints normal. Any suggestions?

Similar problem being experienced here. My Brother MFC 7420 was working fine one day and is lost to my system the next. Any attempt to print just stalls with a message like "Printing 25%" or some such figure.
I've tried uninstalling the driver, updating the latest driver from Brother, updating the Brother driver from Apple, switched USB cables, and finally talked to a helpful Brother phone support technician who got me to try to re-install from the Leopard DVD. When I open the Optional Installs and open Printer Drivers, the Brother drivers are greyed out. He said it was an Apple problem, and thats where I'm at right now.
The G4 is one year out of its 3 year Protection Plan so I presume I'll get no help from Apple.Given the number of posts dealing with this problem, it does seem to be related to the 10.5.4 upgrade but I've not heard anything constructive from Apple on this issue. Anyone got any ideas?

Page totals not displaying

I have a simple RTF template with a static header and a repeating detail section That has several amount fields. I want to display a total of the fields at the bottom of the report. I've tried using <?add-page-total:FlooredTot;'FLOORED_AMT'?> and <?show-page-total:FlooredTot;'999G999D99'?> but they don't work. No errors but nothing displays. The output format is PDF. The rest of the report works correctly and the amount columns have values. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong or give me an alternative?

Actually I was mistaken. I though the output was PDF but its XML which according to the documentation the add-page-total and show-page-total won't work. If this is true is there another way to sum up the columns?

FF 6 "Page Setup" missing "Format & Options" and "Margins & Header/Footer" tabs

Running 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 on FreeBSD 8.2-STABLE when I select File->Page Setup the standard popup window no longer has tabs for "Format & Options" and "Margins & Header/Footer" that I see on Windows XP when running 6.0.2 - this would be okay were it not for the fact that printing (using CUPS on FreeBSD) no longer prints the headers and footers (which I see just fine when I do Print Preview) something in FF 6.x has regressed and is affecting Page Setup.

Yep, this I know. And have long since done this (probably before FireFox was called Mozilla). In fact my margins are set the way I want them (and have been unchanged for years - at least since 2006). That was the first thing I checked.
The fact is ever since I upgrated to 6.01 from 5.x (which was a few weeks ago) my printing from FF6 has not included the footers and headers. As I've said, I can see my footers and headers when I perform Print Preview, but they do not appear on the printed page(s), I truly believe this is changed behaviour due to the upgrade to FF6. Next week I will try a screen capture of my Print Preview to include an image for the "Add images:" feature when posting a reply, but I don't know how to show the physical printed page lacking those same headers and footers short of shooting a photograph with a macro lens and including that as an image. Therefore for now, you will just have to take my word for the fact of missing footers and headers. Also, next week I would be able to post here my about:config settings for the margin preferences which I assure you have remained unchanged for several years. FWIW, printing from Opera 11.11 to the same printer from the same workstation where FF6 is running does include my footers and headers. To my thinking this fairly much puts the blame for this problem on FF6. Thanks.

PDF forms "print" as totally blank pages

I am using a Mac running Mavericks. I have created a layout in InDesign, exported a PDF, then made form fields using Acrobat Pro XI. I then save the form using the "Enable More Tools" option so that people using Reader can save and print. The problem is that when people open, fill out and save the form using Acrobat Standard X, they cannot print the file. Pages do come out of the printer, but they are totally blank. No field data, no background form layout. Nothing. Right now, we are working around it by using the advanced > print as image setting out of Acrobat X, or by installing Reader XI. While these solutions work for our internal people, these files need to be sent outside of our company where we don't know what software will be used to fill them out. As a side note, forms originally created in Acrobat Pro X print fine. This problem has appeared after I updated to Pro XI and other users ar still on Standard X.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Are there any solutions that can be applied to the form PDF file itself, so we don't have to deal with software compatibility issues for outside users?

I am having this same issue. I used photoshop to create my form layout, exported as pdf and imported into acrobat. I have tried a variety of different things (color modes, optimizing the pdf, different save modes, etc), none of them have worked. The only way to get the form to not print blank pages is setting to print in grayscale or print as image. You can't simply download the form, fill it out and press print. This solution is not viable for external people who use these forms.
I should note I have adobe acrobat 10 and the issue of printing blank pages only occurs in adobe reader 11. All other PDF reading programs (reader 10 and below and acrobat) work fine. I never had this issue before, only recently but my process for building forms hasn't changed.

I have a problem in printing current page number of an adobe form.
My requirement is that , my form got 2 pages. On first page i am not printing page numbers and excluded from numbering.
Numbering starts from second page. The second page needs to be repeated twice.
In this case my page printing should look like :
First page - no page number
second page - 1 of 1
Third page - 1of 1 (as it is a copy)
IF second page extends to multiple pages (eg.. 2)
First page - No Page no
First instance of second page - 1of 2 , 2 of 2
Second instance of second page - 1 of 2 , 2 of 2 . Presently it is printing like : 3 of 2 , 4 of 2. I need to initialize current page count. I could able to set the total page count 2 via variable from print program. But while printing the second instance, I am not able to initialize the current page count.
I have seen the following thread which exactly talks about my problem but with out any solution.

During runtime, ONLY 1 page for Page1, multiple pages for Page2 and Page3, same number of pages for Page2 and Page3.
This is what i did:-

Page1: With NO page number: ONLY 1 page
Page2: With page number: Multiple page
Drag the "Insert -> Custom -> Page n of m"
