Problem in R/3 server - Console is missing

Hi,
We got one problem in R/3 server. In SAP R3 Management Console, Console is missing.
I changed the profile parameter in RZ10 for "zcsa/system_language". Then i restarted the system. After that console is missing. What is the problem. How to solve it. Now we are not able to start the R/3 system
Send response immediatly
Thanks,
Naga

Hi Naga,
Is the system missing from the R/3 management console? If yes, you would need
to register the system by running sapstartsrv.exe from
..\usr\sap\<sid>\SYS\exe\run
Or do you get any other error while accessing the system from MMC?
Hope it helps.
Regards
Srikishan

When I publish my site on one specific page where I've added {tag_pagecontent} I get the error:
'Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.'
I'm trying to get a blog module going, I've even deleted the html insert bog with the tag in and re-published which then I don't get the error but as a result no blog either. But then I add the tag in again and publish the error comes back. I've used the dev console and it says that my musicians sample.css is out of date but why is it only out of date when I add in html to my muse site?
HELP!!!! I've searched other threads and to no avail I'm publishing so no direct ftp going on. the only thing I changed in business catalyst was the module stylesheet in order to style the blog. I've tried uploading and replacing all files nothing seems to work. the site is here:
    http://www.musicstudentsforhire.co.uk/musicians-samples.html
It's only this page as it has the blog on. Also I've noticed when I've re-published occasionally it will show the mobile version on my desktop and not the desktop version??? no idea why that's happening so I've had to turn that off. any explanation on why that is happening would also be much appreciated.

I haven't received an answer as of yet, I'll post t on here when I do. I de-activated the mobile site because it's my clients site so he needs it to be operational during the day. I hope someone gives me an answer soon.

    Hello,
There is a lot of stuff on this thread:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=567363&messageID=2801617
these guys are trying to run weblogic with JBuilder.
Looks like your classpath is incorrect, can you go to your admin console-->server-->remote start
copy the classpath and post it here.
Check for spaces in your classpath, missing jars or directories and miss spelt paths.
Has this problem been occuring as soon as you installed WLP or not?
    Cheers,
    Hoos

  • Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.

I've been building a site in Muse successfully until today when I get this error message in the browser, publishing to business catalyst as a test bed:
Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.
Clearing the cache has no effect and I have checked the assets and there are no error symbols. This happened after trying a google translate code in the <head> and a HTML snippet on the master template, I've since removed it but that the last action I took that I can think may have had an effect.
Viewing the source of the page in Safari hash;t helped other than it shows ALOT of html (including some elements i can;t relate to in my site design) and states there are three errors:
[Warning] Invalid CSS property declaration at: ; (index.html, line 1)
the site is Kingsdown Holiday Homes - Self Catering Chalet Rental at Kingsdown Park, Kent | Home
I started this site in Muse CC and then recently upgraded to Muse CC 2014, and I had install issues so deleted the original program (this then forced the download of the new version which was not automatically downloading even though CC notified me that an update was required.
    Any information gratefully received.
    Thanks,
    Andrew

Same problem here but it has nothing to do with a cellular connection.
Created the site http://www.blackdot.com in Muse 7.4.3 with no issues. Just updated the .muse file today to Muse CC 2014 and reloaded to our web server. Now I am getting the error "Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect." when viewing the site from the latest version of all browsers (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) on a Mac and all browsers on a PC (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Explorer), also mobile Safari on an iPad.
My connection is wired broadband, not a mobile or wireless connection. I am not using the Muse "Upload to FTP host…" option and will not be using it. I am simply exporting as HTML and copying the files to my server. I have deleted all files from the web server and recopied the updated site with the same error result. This is the exact same procedure I used to load the initial site with the prior version of Muse.
It does not seem like there is an existing solution to this problem although many others are experiencing it. It looks like I will need to manually edit each page to remove the error message coding from the html files. Any tips on how to strip out the alert message from the html?
    UPDATE
For anyone else experiencing this issue, I was able to edit the .html files for my site to remove the code responsible for this alert message. If you wish to edit your .html files you must make the same edit to every .html file in your site export including the top level "index.html" and all .html files inside the "tablet" and "phone" folders if you have them.
The coding to remove is at the bottom of each .html file:
(Muse.assets.outOfDate.length||Muse.assets.required.length)&&alert("Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.")
Make sure you do not remove any semicolons or braces {} when making this edit. Just remove the text shown above. You will obviously need to remake these edits if you export your site as HTML in the future.

  • Having problems removing a managed server from WL console

    Background:
    Running the 11 g R1 (11.1.1.5) server on Linux.
Installed OIM, OAM, OVD, OID, WL. (other components may be added later)
Have not yet integrated OIM and OAM.
    The Problem:
We were running into a problem on our oim server, that warranted removal and reinstallation.
we were attempting to remove the oim_server1 instance from the weblogic admin console.
went to deployments, and deleted the entry there for oim_server1
Then went to environment | servers
The oim_server1 now shows as "FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE"
and we can not remove this instance frome the admin instance.
If we attempt to remove it, It gives the errors
The server oim_server1 is a running server and may not be deleted.
All of the servers selected are in a state which is incompatible with this operation.
Restarted the WL Admin server, then went back into the console. This did not change the status of the managed server.
    Tried going to
    /data01/app/oracle/product/Middleware/user_projects/domains/IDMDomain/servers/oim_server1/tmp
    and removing the *.lok file...
    No luck.
How do we get around this, so we can remove the incorrectly configured oim_server1 ?
    Edited by: 992276 on Mar 6, 2013 11:30 AM

i was in the EXACT same situation but on weblogic 10.3.3.
    * two servers in FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE
    * try to delete them from admin console and i get the "is a running server and my not be deleted..../incompatible with this operation" messages
i tried lots of things and but i could not get rid of those servers.
    ### What ended up working. ###
i just started the servers. there is no way they should have started. i had already even deleted the server directories. but they started. and then i shut them down. and at that point i was able to delete them.
hope this helps you or somebody. it seemed like such an unlikely solution. but it worked for me.

  • JES 2005Q4 Administration Server Console Problem

Hello, I have installed JES on Sol 10x86.
I've used /usr/sbin/mpsadmserver configure to configure the Admin Server Console.
    I used the default user;admin
    I used a password that I know,
I used the default port of 390.
    when I type /usr/sbin/mpsconsole I put in
    user id admin
    password ********
    http://fqdn:390
It comes back with the error message
"Cannot login because of an incorrect User ID, incorrect password or directory problem. java.io.interuptedIOException:Http Responce Time Out"
I've used /usr/sbin/mpsadmserver unconfig to remove and reinstall it and still nothing.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I thought the proper order of doing things are:
    download sw image
    unpack.
read release notes and install guide
    acertain install sw/hw requirements
install required SW component, I think JDK/JRE 1.4.2 or later needed
    install required OS/kernel/LDAP/JES patches
    When encountering error...
read the error and/or access log file
read the install log file, usually somewhere, may be in /tmp or /var/sadm/...
turn on debugging mode of installer, if there is, someting like:
    # ./installer -d
    or
    # ./setup -d
The above is compressed archive install, I tried to avoid pkg install as pkg method seems more problematic, I may be wrong.
If you use the compressed archive method, then at the end of the successful run of "installer", simply:
    # ./startconsole
    instead of running "mpsconsole"

  • Can't configure Identity Synchronization for Windows through Server Console

    Hi everybody!
I am trying to get Sun Java System Directory Server EE talking with Windows Active Directory buy my progress has come to a halt getting Identity Synchronization for Windows 6 configured and working. I would appreciate any hints!
Here are the steps I have taken:
    1. I installed Directory Server Enterprise Edition 6.3.1 using native packages, no problems there (in terms of adding resources to directory, browsing them, etc).
    2. I installed the Message Queue (3.6 05Q1) that is bundled with the zip archive of DSEE
    3. I installed Identitty Synchronization for Windows (6), that is bundled with the zip archive of DSEE
    4. Logged into Sun Java System Server Console as per instructions after install.
Here is where I am stuck!
I logged in, but something is really weird! Here is what my structure looks like in the default view:
    domain name
    +Server
    ++Server Group [desc: Directory Server 6.0 /opt/SUNWdsee/ds6]
    ++Server Group (1) [var/mps/serverroot]
    +++Administration Server
+++Identity Synchronization for Windows [details are totally blank... even icon is an empty blue square!]
This is the second time I went through the process of installing all this stuff, I made sure to pay attention to the installation instructions as best as I could, but I am very new to Solaris and unfortunately am on an extremely tight deadline.
I am suspecting the problem has something to do with ports or directories, but my knowledge of Solaris is not even at a level where I can troubleshoot this by myself. Even if you have some advice that seems stupid to you, please let me hear it! I am pretty stupid, I might benefit from it!!
Please, if anyone has any hints or suggestions, I would love to hear them. Like I said, I configured all this while following the installation guides, but I am worried I missed something or misunderstood something.
    Thanks in advance,
    Al

Hello wlier, thanks for all your help with this! I really appreciate it.
Reinstalled this whole thing, and at least I got everything under one server group... still can't access ISW though... it is listed in the leftside pane, but when I click on it the rightside pane goes completely blank.
    ~status of idsnyc is:
    -no connectors were found
    -System Manager Status: Started
next step is "1. create an initial configuration using the product's console..."
    ~installed/configured everything as root
~no errors generated when I login to the console, but when I expand the hostname in the leftside pane I get the following error:

~If "run the Administration Server from the Server Group" means what I think it means, I can do that with no problem. I can double click on the Administration Server and configure various options, start/stop the server, etc.
~I just have one interface/hostname configured, and the Server Console shows the correct name
It's like it's not making the connection to the ISW server (btw, it is listed as "isw-solaris1"... is this okay? "solaris1" is the hostname for this server). From what I understand after logging in to Server Console as Directory Manager, it should be asking me for a password to access ISW, but I don't any kind of login/password prompt.
I should be logging in to Server Console on the port I configured during ISW installation, right? In my case, port 1390.
We don't have a service plan and I doubt my company would want to spring the cash for it, so I'm pretty much stuck!!

  • Problem connecting to the server Timecapsule

I am working with a Motora Surfboard SBG6580 Cable Modem going to my 4th Gen Airport Extreme, then a wireless bridge to my 3rd Gen 2 Gig TimeCapsule to extend the network, then using ethernet cables to TV, DVD and MacMini.  When trying to run a backup with Time Machine, or just using it as a hardrive, I keep getting the error message "There was a problem connecting to the server "Timecapsule" - The server may not exist or is unavalable at this time.  Check the server name or IP address, check your network connection, and then try again."  I have seen a lot of posts on this problem, but I still don't understand what the issue or resolution is.
I have tried resetting the TimeCapsule, connecting the TimeCapuse with an ethernet cable, turning off wireless functions, wiped the drive and zero'd all data, etc., but with the same results.  I may be wrong, but this all seems to have started when I ran MATCH while using the TimeCapsule as a storage device for all my iTunes media - it corrupted all my data and showed my disk as full, though pretty much everything on the disk was missing.  All was working fine until that point.
Any help would be nice.  Help!!
         Thanks in advance

If you have backed up to 77GB or something then a backup has indeed been made.. On the TC there will be a sparse bundle and backup which can be mounted.. You cannot check the disk.. you check the sparse bundle.. which can be mounted.
    Please do the following.
Disconnect and remove the TC from the network.
Plug it directly into the computer by ethernet. No other connection to the TC.. turn off wireless and every other connection to the computer..
If you still have issues.. press reset and redo the setup of the TC again.
Run Time Machine and see if it works. If it doesn't work now you have serious issues.. I would guess at a faulty disk somewhere.
What OS is on the computer? From the first post you use SL still.
I would also take the firmware of the TC back to 7.5.2 as I mentioned and do full factory reset this time.. ie hold in reset and then power on.. continue holding in reset until led flashes rapidly.

Can someone help me in solving this problem
    Thanks

I solved this problem by commenting the 8.1 SP4 patches i applied in 8.1 SP2
    WebLogic Temporary Patch for CR211812
    WebLogic Temporary Patch for CR235145
Once i commented the above patches in the CLASSPATH.
    The issue is resolved.

  • There was a problem connecting to the server error

    HELP!
Right, so I upgraded to Lion on my MacBook Pro last night, and have spasmodically gotten the following error:
There was a problem connecting to the server "me409fs02"
    followed by:
There was a problem connecting to server "me35syd08"
Now the weird thing is, me409fs02 and me35syd08 were servers at a company I used to work for 2 years ago. I have no idea why my computer is suddenly trying to log in to these old servers, or how to make it stop.
Here's a screen shot of what's going on in the console at the exact moment that the errors occur:
This is turning out to be a gargantuan pain in the butt and I'd really appreciate any help I can get.
    Thanks in advance,
    Brent.

    G'day mate,
Is this only happening in one user account?  If so, then you should look into the library folder of your user account and your login items (through "Users & Groups Preferences").
Check for any LaunchAgents or LaunchDaemons that could be attempting to connect to the server.
If it's happening for every user, then also check the Library folder at the root of your hard drive (LaunchAgents, LaunchDaemons and StartupItems).
    Cheers,
    Rodney

  • There was a problem connecting to the server when opening Chrome or Evernote

At one time I had an external network drive that is now dead.  I have remove it from the login items and the Finder list of recent servers, but whenever I open Chrome or Evernote I receive a series of "There was a problem connecting to the server" messages. Eventually the messages stop and both Chrome and Evernote work normally.
I've looked at the Chrome and Evernote settings and preferences and I cannot find any setting that tells them to connect to the old network drive.
I've also used the Console app and when the error message comes up I see...
    11/18/14 2:44:38.023 PM NetAuthSysAgent[419]: DNSAddressResolver:Resolve CFNetServiceResolveWithTimeout failed
    11/18/14 2:44:38.024 PM NetAuthSysAgent[419]: ERROR: AFP_GetServerInfo - connect failed 64
Any ideas on where to look and how to get rid of this?

I understand you are getting unable to connect to server error message on your printer. I would first unplug router and printer for about 1 minute. I would plug router up first then printer. I would then try to enable web services. If not successful and you get same error message. I would follow these steps.
    1. Obtain your printer's IP address
    a. This can be done by pressing the wireless icon on printer.
    2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.
    3. Select the network tab at the top of the page.
    4. On the left select networking.
    5. Select Network Address (IP)
    6. Select Manual DNS Server
    a. Manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8
    b. Alternate DNS Server should read. 8.8.4.4
    7. Select apply you might get a warning just select okay.

  • There was a problem connecting to the server "my_server"

At one time, a long time ago, I had a mount for "my_server/Our_Pictures" set up.  Now, whenever I try to do something like, say, change the background image on my desktop, I'm presented with a message saying "There was a problem connecting to the server "my_server"".  I click the "Ok" button, the dialog goes away but about 30 seconds later it's back. And it keps coming back every time I dismiss it until I reboot the machine.  I've looked around trying to find any reference to that mount but I can't find it anywhere.  Not Go -> Connect to server -> Recent servers, not anywhere in the file system, not in my login items (again, it only happens when I try to navigate somewhere in finder when, say, setting a background image for example), nowhere.
Looking at the messages that show up in Console.app, I see :
9/16/12 6:28:51.418 PM NetAuthSysAgent[22600]: smb_mount: mount failed to my_server/Our_Pictures, syserr = No such file or directory
So basically, I have two questions :
    1) How can I prevent this fromm happening in the future?  Where is the reference to this server so that I can delete it
    2) If 1) above is not possible for whatever reason, how can I make it so that it doesn't keep trying to connect?
    thnx,
    Christoph

    NetAuthAgent (NetAuthAgent.app)
NetAuthAgent initiates network logins for both SMB and AFP volumes. NetAuthAgent also launches an application called check_afp that is responsible for receiving messages from the server (among other things).
Let's try the quick & easy first...
Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library"
The go to Preferences folder and find com.apple.NetAuthAgent.plist.
Delete that file, then restart and test.
    Did that help?

  • Print error - there was a problem connecting to the server - spinning beach ball

This has happened pre-yosemite and since.  It used to only happen at home but now also happens at work.  Every time I try to print, I get a spinning beach ball and a long delay until I get an error message saying there was a problem connecting to the server. At home, after clicking OK, I get a second spinning beach ball session with same error.  Once I click OK second time, I get print window and can print.  At work, it's only one session of spinning beach ball.  The office problem occurred after upgrading to yosemite.  I've deleted and added the printers without resolution.  I've repaired permissions.  The home problem has been going on for at least a year, probably a couple.  Using a macbook pro.

There are many possible causes for this issue, and it may be very hard to resolve without wiping your account clean of everything except documents as a last resort. Please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. Back up all data before making any changes.
If you get the alert in the login screen before you log in, stop here and ask for instructions.
    Step 1
If you get the alert as soon as you log in, it's probably caused by one of your login items or by software that otherwise loads at startup or login. Ask if you need help identifying it. Known offenders are "1Password" and "Adobe Resource Synchronizer."
    Step 2
If there's an icon representing the server in the sidebar of a Finder window, hold down the command key and drag it out.
    Step 3
In the Finder, press the key combination command-K or select
              Go ▹ Go to Server...
from the menu bar. In the upper right corner of the window that opens is a Recent Servers popup menu represented by a clock icon. From that menu, select
              Clear Recent Servers…
    and confirm. Test.
    Step 4
Open the Printers & Scanners pane in System Preferences and delete any network devices you no longer use. If in doubt, delete them all and add back the ones you want.
    Step 5
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing  command-C:
    ~/Library/PDF Services
    In the Finder, select
              Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. A folder may open. If it does, move the contents to the Desktop, or to a new folder on the Desktop. Log out and log back in. Test. If there's no change, put the items you moved back where they were and continue.
    Step 6
    Open the folder
    ~/Library/Preferences
as in Step 5 and move the file named "loginwindow.plist" items in that folder to the Trash, if it exists (it may not.)
Log out and back in again, and test.
    Step 7
Other possible causes are references in the iPhoto, iTunes, or iMovie library pointing to the server, bookmarks in the Preview application, and PDF files created by Adobe Acrobat with embedded scripts.
Try rebuilding the iPhoto library, if applicable.
    Step 8
Resources such as images or sounds stored on the server may have been added to various applications. Examples would be pictures added to Contacts and custom sounds added to Mail. The range of possibilites here is practically infinite, so I can't be more specific. You might get a hint by launching the Console application and looking for error messages that appear at the same time as the alerts.
    Step 9
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed to start up. Start up in safe mode. Test. After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Step 10
Triple-click the line below to select it:
    /System/Library/CoreServices/Directory Utility.app
Rght-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
              Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* The application Directory Utility will open.
In the Directory Utility window, select the Directory Editor tool in the toolbar. Select Mounts from the Viewing menu in the toolbar, and/Local/Default from the node menu, if not already selected. On the right is a list of names and values. By default, the list is empty. If it's not empty, post a screenshot of the window and stop here.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C). Open a TextEdit window and paste into it (command-V). Select the line you just pasted and continue as above.
    Step 11
Open the following file as you did in the last step:
    /etc/auto_master
It will open in a TextEdit window. The contents should be exactly this:
    # Automounter master map
    +auto_master          # Use directory service
    /net               -hosts          -nobrowse,hidefromfinder,nosuid
    /home               auto_home     -nobrowse,hidefromfinder
    /Network/Servers     -fstab
    /-               -static
If there are any other lines in the window, post them. Otherwise, close the window.

  • Errors & warnings when using the Admin Server Console - Help Needed

    hi,
i just installed weblogic 12c and created a new domain which contains an adminServer and managedServer under
    one cluster.
after finishing the installation, i started the Admin Server and afterwards started the admin server console.
and i got the next warning and errors.
    the warning look like this:
    <20:00:35 IST 23/03/2012> <Warning> <Munger> <BEA-2156203> <A version attribute
was not found in element "web-app" in the deployment descriptor C:\Oracle\Middle
    ware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\servers\AdminServer\tmp\_WL_internal\cons
    oleapp\jxhze9\console-ext\sipserver-console-ext\WEB-INF\web.xml. A version attri
bute is required, but this version of the WebLogic Server will assume that the l
atest version is used. Future versions of WebLogic Server will reject descriptor
s that do not specify the Java EE version. To eliminate this warning, add an app
ropriate "version=" to element "web-app" in the deployment descriptor.>
    the errors look like this:
    <20:01:51 IST 23/03/2012> <Error> <netuix> <BEA-423158> <No content found at con
    tentUri = /PortalConfig/security/providers/AuthenticatorConfigCommon.portlet.>
what is the problem? anyone knows?

If you want to have an weblogic environment with one domain having server spread across different physical machines , then you will have to perform the installations of the weblogic server separately on all the machines . Also make sure that the version of the Weblogic server you are installing is same across the machines and the directory structure is also exactly same.
In short you will have to perform the below steps :
1 : install the weblogic server on all the machines with exactly same version and same dir structure .
2 : Create domain on MachineA providing all the details of the Managed Server and different machine hostnames.
3 : Start the Admin Server on machineA and then shut down it.
4 : execute the WLST pack command on MachineA creating a domain template JAR file.
5 : copy the create jar file on all the Machines ( B , C , D ) you have to distribute your domain.
    6 : Execute the WLST unpack command on all the machines ( B , C , D ) .
    7 : Execute the WLST nmEnroll () command on all the machines ( B, C , D ).
    8 : Start the Managed Servers on all the machines ( B , C , D )

  • Wishlist for groups administration in LDAP server console

I wonder why there is no basic support in administration of
groups in the Directory Server console. What I and others
    are missing is:
    - search for users in large static groups
    - sort columns in group member display by clicking on column titles
    - search and display of group memberships of an user entry
and - if I'm at it - display the DN of
a user entry if found through the register tab 'users and groups' search dialog of the first console window to see where the user is located in the directory tree.
Yes, we could buy another software to manage that, if we had the budget and write it by ourselfs if we had the budget. But normally the console is sufficient and I want to
administrate everything in one place. Other tools may not understand Sun LDAP roles so I would have to use two or more tools.
    Frerk Meyer

    Sharmila,
    Have you gone through http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E13222_01/wls/docs92/secmanage/atn.html#wp1198953
Configure a new LDAP Auth Provider and use the appropriate values to your LDAP.
Then if you navigate to Global Roles -> Deployer within Admin Console, you can add the particular group to this role.
    Thanks,
    Paz
