Hi,
i'm a new bie to BSP. Currently i'm facing some problems in saving the values to DB
I'm assigning value for a html hidden field in VBScript, how do i save the same in the SAP database.

Problem in saving values using transaction variant for IR02 transaction

Hi All,
              I need a help on creating the transaction variant. Please find the scenario below.
In my Program, I had given a link to change the work center capacity (Intervals and Shifts) in IR02 transaction by BDC.
1.       Created a transaction variant ZIR02_VAR by SHD0 transaction cannot use the transaction IR02 directly since it is a dialog transaction, so used the transaction CRAV.
2.       Created custom T. Code ZIR02 (Transaction with variant) and used the same in the program.
Problem is that, I am not able to save the values that I have changed in the transaction using the SAVE button after executing the transaction variant (ZIR02_VAR). Please help me to achieve this.

See the steps and act accordingly
goto SHD0 Tcode
enter Tcode: say example MM02
Transaction variant: zmm02
Press CREATE
take you to Std MM02 transaction
enter material and select the 3 or 4 views
for each Screen it will be recording the screens automatically
then finally it will record all subscreens and SAVE
by assigning some Dev class
Now come back you will see different screen Variants are created automatically.
Now from the same screen SHD0
press change
now change the status of the individual fields in each screen as per your requirement
so you created the transaction Varaiant
Now goto SE93 tcode
enter some Z tcode say ZMM02_TV and press create
select the VARIANT TRANSACTION
enter the transaction MM02 and the transaction variant created ZMM02
tick cross client
save the Tcode
Now execute the Transaction code ZMM02_TV
and see whether you see all screens.

Problem with checkbox value and app.settings.getSetting()

I`ve got a problem with getting saved settings for checkbox.
Saved settings doesn`t apply on checkbox value.
It`s strange, but it always "true".
So here piece of code:

Problem while saving date field in custom table

Hi,
Iam facing the following problem while saving a date field in custome table
i have a date field zdate in which the value is 02082010.
now when i try to insert this value in the custom table it is getting updated as 20/10/0208 , but it should be 08/02/2010
How can i correct it..

just before saving u might have to use a string reverse FM and then save it..

Expression or Calculation tag value are reset to last application saved value when PC reboot

I'm doing daily logging data for daily report and for the daily flow calculation, I'm doing those step:
1- When Timer1 = 11h55 -> Daily_Volume = (Actual_Volume - Yesterday_Volume)
2- When Timer2 = 11h56 -> Yesterday_Volume = (Actual_Volume )
3- When Timer3 = 11h58 -> Log to database Daily Volume
The problem is that when you restart the application or the PC, the calculation tag "Yesterday volume" reset to the last saved value.
Exemple 2012-01-01 last saved application changes,
- 2012-01-01 my Actual_Volume = 1000 USGal moved to my Yesterday_Volume.
- 2012-01-02 my Actual_Volume (1100 USGal) - Yesterday_Volume (1000 USGal) = Daily_Volume (1000 USGal) move the Actual_Volume to Yesterday_Volume.
- 2012-01-03 my Actual_Volume (1200 USGal) - Yesterday_Volume (1100 USGal) = Daily_Volume (100 USGal)
We've got a power shutdown or any PC reboot. On the 2013-01-01
- 2013-01-01 my Actual_Volume (19000 USGal) - Yesterday_Volume (1000 USGal) = Daily_Volume (18000 USGal) move the Actual_Volume to Yesterday_Volume.
- 2013-01-02 my Actual_Volume (19100 USGal) - Yesterday_Volume (19000 USGal) = Daily_Volume (100 USGal) move the Actual_Volume to Yesterday_Volume.
Those values reset to the last application saved value cause bad data in my daily, monthly, yearly reports. How can we retain calculation tag value to avoid those reset problem?

In Edit mode, File->Modify Process, there is an option "Save state file every xxx minutes". Is this one checked or not?
The value of objects should be saved in the state file when you close the process, or periodically saved according to this setting. The saved value will be loaded next time you open the process.

Problem While saving the Invoice

Dear Experts,
                  I am facing the Problem while Saving the Invoice, In invoice, We assigne the Output as RD00 and Medium as 6 (EDI).
When we are saving the Invoice, it getting as ' Updated Terminated'. When i found where the Error is coming in SM13, it showing in as Function Module "RV_MESSAGE_UPDATE' & Error Details is 'EAN11 not found for Material'.
                 But in Invoice whatever we enter the Material number, we maintain the EAN11 code. This EAN11 code is seen in MARM & VBRP Table. Unable to find the what the exact error is.
               please help me to sort this issue, Its business complicated.

          Thanks for your valuable Message.... I run as you suggested, but the dispatch time i kept as 1 or 2. because the program RSNAST00 is picking the values only for 1 or 2. so i run manually,, as of now the issue is, in the invoice number, for one material number, the Billed quantity is zero, so the UOM is getting as initial. From those vaues we are picking the EAN11 from maram table.
So, i modify that and run the EDI manually. As of now its working...

Problem when saving an order after using userexit_save_document

We are doing an enhacement in sales order capture, and we have next problem, after saving the order, the change of adding the new order is not saved in CDHDR table with the I (of Insert), that's only one problem, but I have another worst , after I use exit save_document, I'm saving data in a Z table, and debugging the program, when I finish the exit save_document the Z table is Ok saved, with the correct data saved, but when I pulse F8 to make the order being complete saved, something is happening because the Z table changes its values as if I run the VA02 , but I'm still in VA01 finishing the saving of the new order, It's very weird, and I don't know if somebody has experimented something like this, please let me know, because its very Urgent!!

Hi,
To have the changed values being reflected in CDHDR, for the fields you wanted to track the changes- In Ztable, AT Dataelement level, In FURTHER CHARACTIRSTICS tab check the box CHANGES DOCUMENT, if you check this checkbox then this becomes the pre requisite for the CDHDR entires. Then in SCDO trnsaction try to cretae a Change document object for this table.
I think the table is not locked for entires. For this table provide the authorization checks then we can restirct others to enter the value into the table.
Try to use Authorization objects or LOCK related Function modules like ENQUEUE and DEQUEQUE.

The report is generating the data. I have used Navigation option on Client Column to move on to Second report. In Second report with in Filter i am using Prompted option. Due to some problem, the client value from first report is not passing to the second one. The second report is getting generated for all the clients.
Normally i have used this Navigate option in other reports and that works fine. I have even tested with Union, it works. This time it is giving some trouble.
Please, let me know whats going wrong.

I tried the same report with Table option, the value is passing correctly.
Is there a way to get rid of this situation using Pivot table.

Problem getting parameter values at the service end point

I am having problem getting parameter values at the service end point. I created service end point and this method is having 35 parameters and then i created test client file using Sun One Studio 5. but when i run this test client and make a call to service it sends wrong value to first three parameters to the service end point. I tried all the way round but it gave me same sort of problem. I change the order of parameters change the names of parameters but it didn�t work. And then i started chopping of parameter from the left side. And my problem is solved when my parameter list reached to 12 from 35. So is it a bug or some problem with my configuration or some thing else.
I am using sun one studio 5 with sun one app 7. My service end point does very simple thing. It only takes out put of the parameter to the server log file. And my wsdl file seems all right. There is no conflict with the count and data type of the parameter information it contains.

I just found that there is a bug with Sun One Studio 5. It creates faulty JSP file to test the client for the web services. With above problem I tested my web services using different developing environment such as Jdeveloper 10g. I created client stub using wsdl file generated by sun one studio. And made call to my web service and all the parameter reached perfectly at service end point. And then I used stub class created by sun one studio for the client and made the same call. And it also went well. So the problem is with the test application (JSP File) sun one creates for my web service.
This is the majore problem i faced during the development. But still there is many problem along with this which is not seriouse enough but requires attension. I would like sun developers to make sun one studio IDE simpler and handy .

Getting Problem in retrieving values from JTable

Hi Guys,
Suppose i clicked in cell in a table to edit it and done some entry in it and without leaving that cell ( means focus is on that cell only) i clicked one button.
button prints table data on console.
now problem is the value in focused cell is coming as null or wht i previously return.
that means unless i m not leaving a cell the Jtable is not taking that value.
how could i overcome this problem

Problem with offset values

Hi Experts,
I have a problem with offset values. I have create a variable on OFISCPER, it's characteristic value, indivdual value, mandatory and ready for the input. I need to show the varibel period and the l previous period and so on till 12 periods. I used the offset values (-1, -2, etc.) but when I execute the query I can show just the variable period and the period previous I don`t see. The query is based on multiprovider and don´t has filters. Can anyone help me?

You may nt need to have 12 columns in the query designer.
You could include the keyfigure and restrict it to the variable and create the offset for the 12 periods

Facing problem of Assigned Value in CJ33

Hi All,
I am facinfg a problem with Assigned value shown in CJ33 T code. My Sceneraio is like this.....
1. I have activated availiblity controll on Released Budget.
2. I have maintained tolerence limit only for PR and PO.
Now My problem is that I budgeted one of my WBS as INR2000, Same amount is released also. I created a PR for INR500. The same PR is converted to a Purchase order of INR500.
Now in CJ33 T code my assigned value is comming as INR1000. Which is not correct for me because i have only used INR500 for my INR2000 budget and i want to use my Remaining INR1500 budget for another PR, But system is giving me Budget excedded error.
Please advise. It would be a great help of all of you.

I had a strong feelilng that you were using ECC 5.0. I had come across the same issue. Just refer the note and try to apply the notes mentioned there. I am not sure which one i had applied but you can try out with the note number that Muraleedharan has mentiond in the thread. It should work.

A "quick" fix that worked for me was to uninstall Adobe... then download the base install for Adobe Reader 11.0.
Then download each of the individual updates and run them sequentially.
I've installed back up to the last security update which is version 08 and have been able to do normal Save As operations.
You will have to disable automatic updates in order to stay at version 08 until Adobe resolves this issue in a later release.

Probleme changing the value of a variable in movieclip from my scene

Hello,
i have a probleme changing the value of a variable in movieclip from my scene. i explain: I have combobox on my scene containing categories, and in the scene i load an xml file containing links to php files that work with the combobox.
Also on the scene i have a movieclip "filmstrip", inside this movieclip on the first frame i have a script loading the php file selected in the scene . i use a load() function with a variable "theUrl" inside like this : T.load(theUrl);.
In my scene i want to change the value of "theUrl" inside the movieClip filmstrip. I tried filmstrip.theUrl = url; But it doesnt work

YESSSS . Thanks you very much Kglad it wotk i put all in a function inside the filmstrip function Tload(theUrl){etc ect}and in the root i call it like this filmstrip.Tload(theUrl);   and it works
