my SDN MM Login is kailasugale at gmail.com
I have password in caps and numeric,when I login in my account with my password i observed my account get change
initial it was kailasugale now its showing kailas shivaji ugale
one important thing even if i am not give my password in caps ,( i give in small letter and numeric) also I am able to login in same account
please help me moderator,i want to continue with my old account ,today upto afternoon it was ok
if any moderator mail me i will give my password to him and he can check it ,its very strange thing for me
please address and guide me for overcome this problem

FYI some months ago (I don't remember when, but I think it was 2011), the SCN forums suddenly began displaying my First Name/Last Name from my Profile in my posts, instead of my Display Name from my Profile. As I recall it lasted for less than a day. Nothing I could do changed the way my name displayed. It eventurally switched back to 'normal' without me doing anything special. One thing I did try was to change my Profile first name/last name, but it had no impact.
Yesterday, there were evidently some issues with the SCN, because I kept getting site certificate errors in my browser when I tried to log on. FYI I don't use a certificate to access any of the SAP sites.

I discover that I have 2 accounts (login) to the SDN.
An old one, not linked to any customer and a recent one specifically created for my current customer (for notes btw).

Looking at the profile I see that the customer installation is not modifiable ... meaning, I think, that we are attached "for life" to a customer installation. Is that right ?

This should work.
The locations of each computer is not mentioned.
If this is being tested in you home behind the Modem then the modem will have to have the ports open to both computers.
Port Forwarding can not do this but UPnP can and so can Port Triggering if you have it.
G5 with @mac <-> MBP with same @mac name will not work.
They can login with the multiple log in option. You may even get them to Text chat (iChat 2 did) But Video or Audio only will not work.
Of soure that does not even look at the connection Speed needed for two video chats through the same modem.
Nor do you say if you have been sussessful with either name to other Buddies first.

SLOW logins and account switching after upgrade from Tiger to 10.5.6?
Just bought and installed 10.5.6 as part of the MacBoxSet and had no problems installing the software. But when I tried to login, it took forever and still takes between 3 & 5 minutes to login in at boot-up or to change accounts. Gave up on trying to use fast switching. It just stalls everything. Most software seems to be running fine now. Did have some issues with "MAIL," but seem to have overcome those by deleting preferences.
Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. THANKS ! !

Duplicate login and account passwords
A while back I set my passwords so that system admin was different from login. I then tried to undo this by setting both passwords to the same, but it still asks for password in addition to login.
I did a clean install when upgrading to Leopard, hoping that would reset things. But it didn't. (Must have migrated over.)
I could live with it before, but Pages 09 is repeatedly asking for password, and now I would dearly love to reset things properly.
Any ideas?
PeterI have read your post three times and I don't understand what is going on.
It sounds like you have and admin acccount and a standard account, and your Mac is set to auto-login to the standard account upon boot. Is that correct?
Applications don't ask for passwords upon launch unless access to that app has been restricted with Parental Controls. Is that the case? -
Sync Problem: .Mac / MobileMe "login failed"; account has been unregistered
Today, my Mac experienced a Sync problem. Under my .Mac System Preference, 'Advanced,' there is no computer registered. When I try to Sync my computer, I receive the error message: "There was a problem with the Sync operation: .Mac login failed."

Please help! Bizarre login/user account problem
In 24 years of using Macs, this is the most frustrating thing I've ever faced and I am in desperate need of help.
For the entire story of my circumstances, see below. The short version of my problem: My auto-login user account is corrupt but I can't figure out how to bypass/interrupt it so I can log in to a different user account. Is there a way to use Single User Mode to do this - to get to the regular login screen where I can enter a different user name and password???
I follwed the steps outlined by Michael in this thread, but it did not work

Here's the long version of how I arrived at these circumstances:
I have a single (admin level) user account on my new Mac Pro, with auto-login enabled. The home folder is on a separate internal drive (bay 2) from the OS/applications (bay 1). Out of nowhere, I got the error "You are unable to log in to the user account. Login failed because an error occurred." I was not able to login to my machine. When I tried to boot from my bootable clone backup, got the same error. Tried to boot from the Leopard install DVD, got the 5-language kernel panic screen. Off to the Apple Store.
It didn't occur to me at this time to mention my Home folder being on a 2nd drive, that was my mistake #1. They ended up replacing the logic board and RAM riser cards, neither of which was remotely related to the problem. In the process, they were able to create a new admin-level 'test' user account, and got the machine up and running again. At this point they noticed that there was no other user/Home folder present on the startup drive and at this point I told them that it was located on drive 2. That drive was not appearing in the finder, so apparently it had croaked - and knowing this pretty much explained the original problem, to me at least.
I get home, log in as Test, delete my old user account, create a new user account and put the Home folder for this new account on drive 3. My stupid mistake #2: I used the same name for the new account as my old account, and mistake #3, turned auto-login to this account back on.
But at this point, everything was still working, and I commenced to try to recover my lost Home folder from my Time Machine backup and figure out how to restore all of my system settings, which were wiped out with the creation of the new Test user account. I'll skip over some of the other problems I ran into with Time Machine at this point and get to the real issue: after a couple of successful restarts and logins to my newly created user account (the one with the same name as my old account but with it's Home folder in a different location), the ORIGINAL "You are unable to log in to the user account. Login failed because an error occurred." error has returned.
Now I'm back where I started, and can't figure out how to log in to the Test account that resides on my startup drive, because auto-login is enabled for the 'broken' user account - even though the Home folder for this account is located on a working drive.
I've done tons of searching and can't figure out how to use Single User Mode to login to Test. When I try the login command, it says 'login incorrect', even though I am using the correct user and password. Help!!well, something is really messed up with those accounts so I would create a new admin account, log into that and go from there.
To do that [enable the root user|http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1278], safe boot, log in as root and create a new admin account, also while you are at it disable the auto login.
You can also work from the root account but I would recommend against it. It's not really safe. -
My login screen is grey and wont change. i tried restarting but it didn't help
i had logged in earlier today on a guest user account, just to see how it worked, then after i was finished i logged out. My login screen was a grey colour. i went on to my usual login and tried changing the background screen but it didnt work! i also disabled guest accounts and tried to restart it but yet nothing happened!!!!!!!!!

Regarding MSC2N and MSC3N: Batch Display and Batch Change

I have faced a problem regarding batch display and batch change.
Scenario:
I have created a Process Order in COR1.
Using MIGO i made the goods receipt of that Process Order.
Now when i want to display for that particular material document number Details data..
In Batch --> Classification (you can check it also from MSC3N using the batch number of the particular material) there is a field named Availability Date its coming 0000/00/00.
But when i checked it from MSC2N in cange mode its coming with desired data.
Any valuable idea..

Problems with overage charges and making account changes on line
I have quite a bit of history involving my attempts to resolve the problem of catching my account before it goes over the minutes allowed and making the changes on line (to cut down on call volume) to change my account to raise the minutes allowed for that billing cycle. I was given one reason why it didn't work the first time (I didn't print out my confimation proving I made the changes - bit the bullet and paid those charges) and so the second time wanting to avoid the problem from the first time I made sure I printed out my confirmation. The confirmation had an effective date of change of 07/19/2012 the day I was informed I was nearing my allowed minutes. There were only 4 or 5 maximum days left in that billing cycle so I wanted to nip the problem in the bud and make the changes to my account to be made "that" day. My confirmation said the changes were effective 07/19/2012. In plently of time before that billing cycle ended. Again I was told I did something wrong. This time I'm holding my confirmation in my hand even as the person is telling me again I did it wrong. The purpose Verizon wants it's customers to use the available on-line option is to cut down on their call volume. I didn't go to school to get the knowledge apparantly needed to perform these particular tasks in a manner that is acceptable to Verizon. Has anyone else had problems with trying to fix their problems themselves using Verizons "helpfull" on-line choice?
I have an explanation for you by what was meant by "you did it wrong."
When you make a change effective the date you are requesting it and not at the start or end of your billing cycle, your minute usage for that month is pro-rated.
For example, you say you made a change, because you were nearing your allowance limit, on 7/19/2012 and wanted it effective that day with 5 days left in the billing cycle. Lets assume that your allowance is 700 minutes/month and you were at 675 minutes for that month(still under your monthly allowance). If you make a change effective with 5 days left in your billing cycle to the 1400 minute/month allowance, your allowance for the 1st 25 days of your cycle will have been pro-rated to (25/30) * 700 = 583 minutes. This would mean you would have already had an overage of 92 minutes for the 1st 25 days of the month. Additionally, you would have a pro-rated allowance to use the last 5 days of (5/30) * 1400 = 233 minutes. This is how the pro-rating works when you make a change effective during the middle of your billing cycle.
What you need to do next time to avoid these overage charges is to make the change effective at the beginning of your current billing cycle. So if you had made the change on 7/19/2012, but your billing cycle ended on 7/24/2012(5 days later), you should have made the change effective at the beginning of your current billing cycle, or 6/24/2012. This is called backdating the change. In this instance, you would have received a credit on you account for the cost of the 700 minute plan and been charged the full amount for the 1400 minute plan on your next bill, which I believe is a net additional charge of $10 and you would have had the use of 1400 minutes for throughout the entire month. In this example, you would not have had any overage with your 675 minutes during the 1st 25 days of your cycle and would have been able to use 725 minutes over the last 5 days of your billing cycle. This is much better than the overage charge you would receive with 92 overage minutes @ $0.45/minute = $41.40.

The iCloud account username is an Apple ID and there is a terrific article that can show you how to edit that Apple ID and correct it. Be sure to make sure you follow the top section, Before you change your Apple ID, before proceeding to the steps to change it.

I changed in about:config "network.protocol-handler.expose-all" setting it to "false" to allow me to use Sopcast player (which I added on "network.protocol-handler.app.sop"). But after that, every time I have to, i.e., look for a location on Googlemaps, when I entered it it just open a new tab with the same page I was in; every time I click on a link it doesn't redirect me, it open a new page; I can't save changes on Facebook because when I click on "save changes" it just open another FB home page in a new tab; same problem with opening my bank account, etc. Even here, I could not get in when I tried to login. Now I put back "true" on "network.protocol-handler.expose-all", but, of course, Sopcast doesn't work anymore. What can I do? I'm using Firefox 6.0.2 on Ubuntu 11.04. The Trubleshooting informations I attached here are those that gave me the problem, before I made the aforementioned changing going back to "true". Thank you
I think I may have found the problem. It's embarrassing to find it minutes after posting the message yet I tried to solve it off and on for three days! My brother who is a 20 year Mac user has been trying to help me too. I guess it's true what they say... sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. LOL
I turned off the parental controls. What I don't understand is that the no website restrictions box was checked. To me this means I should be able to go to any site I wanted. Can anyone explain why I couldn't got to a HTTPS page on a parental controlled account even though there were no restrictions placed on it?
It's late and I need sleep. I'll leave this open for now until I have more time to test it. -
I have an IPad mini and I changed the Apple ID and the password almost one year ago and, for a while, a message asking me to sign in to ICloud pops- up constantly. My ICloud account is registered with an old email address and password. I do not remember the password to my ICloud account, and ID address that my ICloud account is registered under is an old email adress which is deleted right now (the old mail account is deleted). I don’t have a rescue email adress and I don’t know the answers to the security questions, so I have no way of changing the ICloud password. A message asking me to sign in to ICloud pops up constantly, but I always just hit cancel. However, now I am unable to access Find My IPad. How do I get my ICloud account changed and registered to be under my current Apple ID (email) and password? It is possible to set the device as New Ipad?
Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.
