If there is mismatch in the size then it will definately dump.
Pass the correct parameter to the FM.

Well, cout was just a a simple example. I was having problems with using the std C++ libraries, e.g ostringstream . and likes .
I tried using the -lCstd in the compile option and it worked.

Problem extending standard ViewReceiptsSearchVO view object with logic on get method

Database 11.2.0.3
I am trying to extend the 3 VOs related to ViewReceiptsSearch. I extended a seeded ViewReceiptsSearchVO view object. I haven't made any changes yet, no columns added, nothing altered. When I run this substitution, the "Received" column is null. This column in the view used for the view object only selects NULL and uses the getter method for the attribute to populate the value. The generated extension getter calls getAttributeInternal and skips the logic in the standard getter and the substituted view object is displaying the null in the screen. The below discussion explains the problem very well except that the original posted had the issue in 11.5.10.2. I am having this issue with 12.1.3.

Problem in standard workflow of claims in ESS

Hi ,
I am functional consultant and I am facing problem in standard workflow of claims WS18900023 .
When approver clicks on approve button it gives message that ' Validation is succesful 'and it does not get approved.
When approver clicks on Approve button it should say that request has been approved and that workiten should go from his inbox but this is not happening .That workitem still shows in his inbox with same status of to be approved .
Kinldy help in resolving this issue .

Hi Archana,
I assue that you have activated the BADI GET_NEXT_APPROVER.
Follow these steps.
=> Request for claims from portal.
=> Then in SAP run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_ACRP and check the request status. It should show as To Be Approved.
=> Then logon as manager and approve the request from UWL.
=> Now agian in SAP run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_ACRP and check the request status. It should show as Approved. ( If your maintaining Multi level approval process status will be Partially Approved).
=> Once it shows status Approved, Run the T-code HRPBSIN_AC_INFU, it will show the list of requests to be update in IT0015.

I'm facing a problem in Standard Controlling Reports, when generating reports such as S_ALR_87013011 known as Orders: Actual/Plan Variance, the currency displayed was "Value in report currency", now we need to change it to "Value in object currency".
How will I change it?

Hello,
Please check if this can be changed in Layout setting. Pick up the fields from hide area to display area.
However, you go to OKKP settings and see what is the controlling area currency has been used.
Please note that changing the controlling area currency at this would have its own complications at this stage. Go through the relevant notes before changing controlling area currency.

Problems with standard checkings

Hi,
We'd like to know if someone has worked in a proyect with two different Systems S1 and S2, data cannot be copied (transfered) from one to the other but we must check data from system S1 refering to data in tables in system S2.
This scenario is a problem when standard checkings are done in the tables, due to of course checkings are done over tables of current system.
Do anybody know how to manage standar checkings in current system S1 to allow the checkings against tables in system S2?

Order type Personalization Problem in Standard Sales Order Form

We have a problem in personalization of Sales order form.Here we are trying to personalize three field based on order type
Scenario 1:_
_Nav-->Oredr Management Super User-->Orders,returns-->Sales Orders-->order type-->standard_
In this type if we are navigating to lines it should ask the following fields as mandatory
(Nav-->Oredr Management Super User-->Orders,returns-->Sales Orders-->others form)
1.Shipping Method
2.Freight Terms
3.Shipment priority
Scenario 2:_
_Nav-->Oredr Management Super User-->Orders,returns-->Sales Orders-->order type-->Bill only & Internal & RMA_
then it should navigate to line items without asking those three mandatory fields.
For that we did the following Personalization through Help-->Diagnostics-->Custom Code-->Personalize

The problem we are facing is when we first select the ordar type as Bill only or Internal or RMA it is working as expected. So hope the problem is clear to you all and we have to move this in production on tomorrow.

for that we did three personalization for those three fields as in the previous post
but the problem is

Problem with standard Routine "Seniority"

Hi gurus,
I have a problem with the routine "Seniority" that evaluate the length of service for the infoObject 0SRVCLEN - Length of Service. It is a standard routine in the update rule 0HR_PA_0.
The problem occurs when the Employee has less than a year of service. The result of the routine is "0" but in the BW query "0" is interpreted like "#" - Not assigned.
How can I change the value of the Not assigned result?
This is the main part of the routine:
IF NOT EMPLOYEE_WA-ENTRYDATE IS INITIAL.
    RESULT = ULTIMO0(4) - EMPLOYEE_WA-ENTRYDATE0(4).
    IF ULTIMO4(4) LT EMPLOYEE_WA-ENTRYDATE4(4).
      RESULT = RESULT - 1.
    endif.

Determine number of PO item lines

Keep rest all code as it is.

Problem in Standard program while selecting Index

Hi,
I am using the Standard SAP Program ' RFKKZE00' for creating Payment-Lot in my Custom Program ( Z-program ).
The Std. Program inturn calls 'RFKKZE01' and which inturn calls 'RFKKZE02' via Background Job.
The problem is that the program 'RFKKZE02' fails in a Select Query ( so its not clearing documents in the Payment-Lot )

stating ' An SQL error occurred when accessing a table '

The problem happens only in testing server where the select query fetches data from DFKKOP using Custom Index ( Z-index ) wherein in the Pre-Integration server, the select query uses the Std. Index for fetching and the program is working fine.
I am really confused why the program uses Different Indexes in Different Servers.
The order of the fields in the Select Query matches the order in the Std. Index ( as I said it happens in Pre-Integration Server )but it is not matching with the order of the Z-index ( still the program uses this Index in Testing Server & fails ).
Please Help me to solve this Issue.

We couldn't check the Index with which that particular Select query in the standard SAP program is using to fetch the data from DFFKOP table in Production.
In pre-integration environment wherein the program is getting executed successfully the Standard Index '3' is being used.
In testing environment, the query uses one of the Z-indexes ( the program fails ) for the same query.
The order of the fields in the select query :
MANDT
ABWBL
WHANG
OPUPW
AUGST
The order of the fields in the Standard Index ( 3 ) :
MANDT
ABWBL
AUGST
WHGRP
The order of the fields in the Z-index :
MANDT
AUGST
VKONT
BUDAT
AUGBD

I face an exception when try to get response of my application through browser.
Exception I got on browser:

Problem in standard task TS20000139 in quality

Hi friends
The task TS20000139 is used for sending reason for rejection in my travel request workflow. Its working fine in development but after transporting to development when rejection button is clicked below task TS20000139 is not opened, it immedietly closes and comes to inbox when i try to click that workitem its not opening. Am using standard task only. This problem is only in quality. Can any one point the solution.

I think the problem is solved. Now its comming correctly. i dont the what is the problem what i was going on clicking the workitem suddenly it opened. Now i tested with 10 rejection now its working fine.
There is another problem exist. I have copied the standard task TS20000118 and in this task there is an attachment. But this attachement is not opening in quality. But in development is working fine.

Sorting problem in standard vendor search help

I'm enhancing the vendor search help.
I found that there is a sorting problem in the original standard search help.
The 1st time to search vendor in the search help returns a correct list, then I just sort the vendor in ascending order. This time the column name of the hit list changes and mismatch the actual values.
Any one faced this problem before?
What's wrong are there ?

Java debugging - problems with standard input

I hope somebody can help me with this problem.
I'm developing a Java app that reads from the standard input. I use System.in.read() to do that. When I debug it, I use the Standard I/O window instead of the Run Log window to pass in values, but nothing happens (i.e. the line following the read() is never reached). I also tried to run the app and then attach the debugger to use the Run Log window as standard input, with the same result. If I add a breakpoint before the call to read(), the debugger pauses the execution, so I suppose the breakpoints are OK.
In the executable Info window, Debugging tab, I use the pseudo terminal with the Java debugger.
So my question is: how can I enter values from the standard input in debugging mode?

I believe that you are seeing these problems because we have found the
current versions of RMI found in the JDK to be inherently unscalable -- we
do not listen for them. As you noticed, we recommend that you use our
packages for now, and then do the simple change that you found if you decide
that you do not like WLS. (If you do decide that you do not like us, please
definitely let us know why you chose the way you did!)

Problem uploading standard texts

I am uploading standard texts from text file onto SAP.
I recorded it properly with the data, but while uploading I face this problem. For example the foll text
"Price will be NY's posted price at Slaugxxxx Bio Plant on the day of deliveries."
It is uploading only till "del" of deliveies", i.e everything other than 'iveries." is getting uploaded into the first line of the transaction so10. The rest of the text is not going to the next line. How do I solve this problem. Can you help me out.

Problem with Standard Midi files

When I open a standard midi file in Logic Pro X and I press "play", after a while, let's say a minute, the system crashes and a box inform me that the "System's overloaded. The audio engine was not able to process all required data in time. (-10011)"
Any hints on how to solve this problem?
