Problem in writing to a pdf in CF 8
I have been overwriting a pdf just fine in MX7, but when I
move to CF 8, the file is not being updated. There seems to be
commentary "out there" about possible issues in moving to 8, but
anything I apply is not working. Two of the things I have tried are
commenting the <cfdocumentitem> and fully qualifying the
database elements I use. Suggestions and help would be greatly
appreciated.

I took the liberty to modify your VI for an alternative approach (LabVIEW 7.1). You should keep your array of 32 clusters in a shift register and show only a single cluster as a front panel control.
Selecting a different transducer from the listbox on the left will load its settings into that control via a local variable.
Any changes to the settings will modify the currently selected array element
At any give time, a boolean array shows which transducers have changed settings
At any given time, a listbox summarizes all settings.

Problem with writing and reading using serialization
I am having a problem with writing and reading an object that has another object in it. The purpose of the class is to write a order that has multiple items in it. And there will be several orders. This is for an IB project, where one of the requirements is to utilize a hierarchical composite data structure. Kilik07ok i got reading to work to a certain extent... but the prob is i cnt seem to save my innerCustOrdObj proprly...when ever i look for a record using the gotorecordbtn, the outerobject, which is the orderDetails, seems to change but the innerCustOrdObj remains the same... heres the new code..

Facing problem with logo in the PDF attachment when sending mail...
hi friends,
i'm facing problem with logo in the PDF attachment to the mail.
my requirement:
1. enter spool number and mail id in the selection screen.
process:
1. now the program will fetch the spool data and converts it to PDF.
2. but when i'm trying to send mail with this PDF as attachment.
when i open the PDF file from the mail, logo is not coming properly (looks disturbed).
can anyone help me how to resolve this issue...

even it look good when i download this spool to pdf and to the presentation server as pdf file.
i'm using CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF.
when i used CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF, is gives a msg - 'spool number not found'.

NOTE: problem i believe is with ''. i'm getting this tilt symbol () in my pdf internal table. here in the above code the line TRANSLATE lv_gd_buffer USING '~ ' is changing the existing tilt to space. so my logo is getting disturbed.
even i tried with REPLACE this tilt with other char, but it doent work.

Dear all,
I have a problem for writing a query,
country: name,code,population.
economy:country(code),gdp
in the economy table i have gdp of each country, i calculated sum of the GDP of all countries and then half of it(50% of world GDP)
then i should calculate the minimum population of the countries needed to have this 50% of GDP.
here is what i wrote until now but i really don't have any more idea, if you help me i'll learn something.

I have problem in converting Spool to PDF format.
Scenario : I have a spool which has non-English characters. I am using CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF FM to perform conversion. But my output is having junk values( ie # ) for non-English characters. Any pointers to solve this issue will be appreciated.
I even tried with report RSTXPDFT4 , it also gives me the same junk characters.

Problem with opening some of PDFs in Photoshop CS6.
Hi, I have a problem with opening some of PDFs in Photoshop CS6. It is said: it isn't possible to carry out an order since the module of the file format cannot analyse this file
Don’t know if Reader has this, too, but in Acrobat one can check under Document Properties.
I can convert and place the file in Photoshop CS6.
I would recommend trying the usual trouble-shooting routines and if nothing helps un-installing, running the Cleaner and re-installing Photoshop. (After making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved to s secure location.)

Hyperlink problem when converting Word to PDF
Hi everyone.
I am using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard version 7.1.4 on a Windows 2000 environment.
I am using Word XP/2002 SP3.
I have a couple of problems when converting Word to PDF.
When converting a long link which is in 2 lines, PDF just takes one line into account, not considering the whole link
When I have hyperlinks that links to a web page, the link works fine in Word but in pdf, it gets the few words after the url address making the link not work. For example. I have a hyperlink that http://www.google.com/ and after this I have the words: "This is a sample text". The hyperlink in pdf would then become http://www.google.comThisisasampletext

Thanks.To get the cross references, you have to use Convert to PDF (PDF Maker part of the Acrobat product). However, you first need to go to the print menu and set the printer to the Adobe PDF printer. Close the print menu and then do a reflow and link update of the document (ctrl-A, then F9 I think). This is needed to get the links correct since WORD reflows the document based on the printer (problem with them going to the wrong place).
Printing to the Adobe PDF printer (the step of print to file is not needed, just print to the printer and the rest is automatic) does not include the links. PDF Maker is a PreProcessor for the Adobe PDF printer that adds PDF Marks to the PS file before it is sent to Distiller (OK, the printer when used normally creates a PS file and then invokes Distiller to complete the process - your steps did with the Adobe PDF printer is the same process done manually).
Summary:
1. Fix document after setting the printer to Adobe PDF.

Page with 3 layers: 1st background image, 2nd semi-transparent white square, 3rd text in color black.
It looks OK in Indesign, but when exporting, in the PDF file the letters are not black, they are gray. What could happened? I've tryed already the obvious solutions (the order of layers is OK, restarted the PC...)
Thank you in advance.the default [Black] swatch (0/0/0/100 in CMYK) really is a lighter color than a rich black mixed from four CMYk ink, or 3 RGB colors. It would be pretty unusual to see a black background in an image that wasn't a mix.
Do you have the preference in ID for Appearance of Black set to Display All Blacks Accurately? That will show you the difference in ID on screen as well. -
Problem in converting spool to pdf
Hi Experts,
I want an internal table to be converted to the PDF. For this RSPO_OPEN_SPOOLREQUEST, RSPO_WRITE_SPOOLREQUEST and RSPO_CLOSE_SPOOLREQUEST to create the spool. However, somehow the table tsp01 does not gets updated as a result i could not convert the data to PDF. Can any one help me how this problem could be solved.

Problem while writing to fixed length flat file from xml
Hi,
I have a problem in writing data into a flat file of fixed length...
My input is a xml file and i want the output as a flat file. I am successful in converting the xml into flat file... But the main problem is, i am unable to insert spaces in between my fields in the flat file.
The data in the flat file comes without spaces... Any suggestions on writing the schema...

your element should be something like this, it pads with a space using the paddedBy expression

Print problem after exporting Pages to PDF.
I am attempting to print a very large genealogical book (300 + pages) of my family's descendants and noticed that in both Preview and Adobe Reader the first character of every page is missing. This does not happen when printing from Pages so it cannot be a printer problem. I checked the placement of the print against the Pages page and both Preview and Adobe Reader are EXACTLY the one character difference with the pages exactly even with each other. The original page type is 12 pt with margins: Left .5in, Right .5in, Top .75in, Bottom .75in, no header, Footer .5in using 9 pt type. What is really odd is that the onscreen display is correct but only the printed (HP OJ6500E702n wireless duplex marginless printer) copy is incorrect which indicates to me the conversion is somehow creating this problem.
I need this PDF file as it is the file I print from plus I put the file on a disk as a backup for the paper book for all book recipients.
SparkgapperWhile this problem is for ANY application that EXPORTS, not prints, to a PDF format, I have discovered that the problem is probably be with the printer's minimum allowable margins being physically the same regardless of portrait or landscape instead of the logical rotation of margin type locations in landscape mode. Question answered by logic research.

Problems printing a digitally signed PDF
Hi
I'm having problems printing a digitally signed PDF on a dell 968 AIO printer. It works fine on the a majority of printers but we have had reports of issues with other models as well as the dell printer.
The PDF prints fine when opened in Adobe Reader 9 (blue bar appears at top to indicate signed pdf).
When opened in Adobe Acrobat 7 on the same PC the first pages prints correctly but the rest of the pages print only a few lines in a huge font and the characters are backwards.
The pdf does not always open in reader when accessed through the web it will sometimes open with acrobat is there anyway to control this?
Does anyone know why this maybe happening?

ClaireThanks for the reply Mike. I think I've got a little further with this problem now. There seems to be a problem printing the signed PDF in adobe reader 7 as well as acrobat 7.
I have uninstalled acrobat from the machine but the problem still happens with reader 7.
Does anyone know if reader 7 and below has any known issues printing signed pdf's. It works fine on 8 and above.

Problems printing a high qaulity PDF from a document
Hello,
Recently I have had some problems printing a high qaulity pdf (acrobat 9 pro) from a document made in 2010 word.
Every time I have tried to print these documents there is information missing in the pdf incuding text, pictures, shapes etc.. This was never a problem untill I installed 2010 word.
I sent it to a friend, and he was able to print the document into a pdf just fine.
What can I do to fix this? It is very important that I tackle this problem asap!
