Problems installing Netweaver Developer Workplace 2004
Dear Netweaver experts,
I have severe problems installing Netweaver Developer Workplace 2004 on windows XP.
I used sapinst for installing the Java sytem (Menue Java System->Oracle->Custom Installation).
After running through 34 of the 35 phases during which the sapinst tries to start the freshly installed J2EE engine I got the error :
CJSlibModule::writeError_impl() CJS-20057 Starting J2EE Engine J00 of SAP system J2E failed: after 84 s the state of the engine changed from "Starting" to "Stopped".
and changed my memory setting using the configtool.
Afterwards I tried to start the server in my MMC and it seemed to be running.
INFO
Execution of the command "D:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\exe/startsap.exe 'name=J2E' 'nr=00' 'SAPDIAHOST=K-0017553'" finished with return code 0. Output: STARTSAP continues...
But when I had a closer look at the Process table at the MMC I saw that the server0 wasn't running
(Server 0 stopped Exit Code -2).
Now I don't know how to proceed.
Does someone of you know how I could get my J2EE server running ?
Below you find my present settings :

I am having problem installing StorADE 2.4 in Oracle Java Web Console 3.1 with CAM 6.6.
I am sure I have seen them together in Web Console but doesn't seems to be working... I am getting all sort of javv exception errors...

Problem Installing the loaded applet in Samsung java card (S3CC9P9).
Hi all,
Am trying to install the applets already loaded into the Samsung java card(S3CC9P9), because am unable to select the applet which are loaded into the card. I got to know that the applets are only loaded, they are not installed in the card, without installing the applet ,we cannot select the applet. Am using gpj(version 20120310 ) to install the applets into the card.
When i execute : java -jar gpj.jar -list
i get the list of applets in the card as :
AID: A0 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 |........| ISD LC: 1 PR: 0x1A
AID: A0 00 00 00 03 10 |......| Exe LC: 1 PR: 0x00

Here am able to select only the first applet i.e., A0 00 00 00 03 00 00 00
SO, when i try to install the other applets, for example A0 00 00 00 03 10, its fails.
When i execute : java -jar gpj.jar -install -applet A00000000310

1. do you have a reader with a serial (com1) connection?
if so, the reader has to be connected before starting windows. so windows recognizes it.
2. have a look to the control panel. is there a tool - installed during driver installation - to test and configure the reader?
if so try it.
if all that works, the jcop tools communicate with the reader over the installed driver.

I am trying to install the netweaver but I got this error:
ERROR 2006-03-17 17:23:03
MOS-01228 User 'yisbcn01\SAPServiceBW3' is not registered from the operating system. The UID cannot be retrieved.
ERROR 2006-03-17 17:23:03
MOS-01224 Unable to add privileges 'SeServiceLogonRight SeNetworkLogonRight SeDenyInteractiveLogonRight' to account 'yisbcn01\SAPServiceBW3' on host 'yisbcn01'.
Can anyone help me please? :o)Hi Laura,
Is this installation being done on the domain controller?
From the installation guides you can see the following section:
"Caution, you cannot create local users and groups on the host that is used as domain controller. Therefore, we do not support running an SAP instance(including the database instance) on the host where the DNS service is installed. "
I have come across one case where this was the cause of these same errors.

Problems Installing Netweaver Developer Studio 7.0 SP 15
Hello friends,
I have currently NWDS 7.0 SP9 installed. I need to install NWDS 7.0 SP15. For that I have downloaded the JIDE15_0-10003480.SAR file from Service Market place. I don't know what to do after that.
Please can anyone help me on this.
Points guaranteed.
Thank You
AvikHi,
SAPCAR is a executable. you can find it in \usr\sap\<SID>SYS\exe\run.
You can execute the "sapcar -xvf <filename>.car"
Note:
Using JSPM we can deploy the sar file.
For JSPM , no need to uncar the file. It will directly uncar and deploy it.
Try with JSPM to deploy the SAR file.

Always failed during operating system checking while installing NetWeaver.
I have installed NetWeaver Composition Envrionment Sneak Preview - Java EE only but always failed during operating system checking. Does this version not support Window XP Professional SP2? This is mostly used window system.
I checked the instruction and comfirmed that it does support Window XP Professional (SP2):
System Requirements
<b>Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 2)</b> or Windows 2003 Server (Service Pack 1)
<b>This version runs on Windows XP (SP2)</b> with password accounts and Windows Server 2003 (32bit)
NTFS file system
Micrsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, or Firefox 1.0 or higher
Min. 1 GB, recommended 2 GB RAM
7 GB free hard disc space
Download file 1.8 GB
1.5 GHz PC or higher
Monitor 1024x768 pixels or more, 256 colors
Internet access (for CE online documentation)
If no DHCP server is available on your network (which dynamically determines the IP address) or your computer is not connected to any network, you need to install the virtual interface adapter MS Loopback Adapter.
To use SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe, you must install the necessary credential file and activate it using a unique password. Download the latest credential and passwort from SDN -

Hi Experts,
I downloaded the SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) for Java trial verion through the SAP Market Service almost a month ago, but I only have 6 days left until expiry. I thought I was good for 90 days or I have to renew it every 30 days? Please suggest me what should I do, and I greatly appreciate your responses.

You have ask sap for permanent license.
For that you have to register your system with sap.
But it will cost you more for your company for licensing.
If you are home user then it will huge money appr. in Lakhs.
You can contact to sap for license or write a mail for the same.

MichaelHi There !
Run SDM RemoteGui.
Go to deployment tab.
Find sap.comtcdtr~dbschema.sda in root directory under SDM.
Adjust deployment configuration to Update deployed SDAs/SCAs that have any version.
Complete the wizard.
this works !

Sorry for the delay. I was on vacation.
Which environment variable are you referring to?
JAVA_HOME is set to C:\j2sdk1.4.2_09.
I am using j2sdk1.4.2_09.
Only port changes I tried was
#sapdp01 3201/tcp.
I tried with and without the # .
Both had the same results.
I have given below the last few statememts from the sapinst log file
Any help to solve my problem will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I'm trying to install netweaver trial version from the dvd in Horst Keller's book ABAP Objects but am having problems. I have tried to uninstall and start again but I keep getting the message below. Any suggestions welcome as I'm new to all this.

I don't know this book you've mentioned, but perhaps it's the same trail version as you can download from SAP.
To uninstall it please go through the steps provided in the first part of the following site --> link
Then try to delete the D:SAPNSP-folder again.
Also please check your services-file under C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc that there aren't any entries like NSP left.

Machine Specs for installing SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial version.
Hi,
can we install SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial on windows x64 OS/machine or all the trail versions work only on 32 bit OS/machine?
I tried installing SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial it on my laptop (Win XP 32 bit) and on a Server (Win 2003 server x64 bit), it failed.
Is SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial version specifies any particular configuration on which it will work perfectly fine without any issues?
your help would be highly appreaciated.
thanks,Only work with 32bits
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Java Trial Version System Requirements
Operating System: Windows 2000 (Service Pack 3); Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 1) or Windows Server 2003
NTFS-File systems
Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Firefox 1.0 or higher
At least 1 GB RAM, 2 GB are recommended
Intel Pentium III/1.1 GHz or higher (or compatible)
14GB free hard disk space (8.6 GB for the installed software and 4.9 GB for the installer software)
High-resolution monitor (1024x768 or higher, 256 colors)
Sun Microsystems J2SE SDK version 1.4.2_XX or 1.4.2_XX (Sun JDK 1.5 not tested). You can download this from Sun Microsystems at http://java.sun.com/products/archive/j2se/1.4.2_XX/index.html. Please note that version 1.4.2_10 may cause installation problems.
If you have already installed SAP products on your computer, you must ensure that none of the systems are called "J2E".
The file C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\services (Windows 2000) or C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc\services (Windows XP) must not include an entry for the ports 3601, 3201 and 50000 to 50030. A possible entry can be excluded by using the hash symbol (#).
If no DHCP server is available on your network (which dynamically determines the IP address) or your computer is not connected to any network, you need to install the virtual interface adapter MS Loopback Adapter. This is described in detail within the contents of the download package.
To use SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe, you must install the necessary credential file and activatetial file and activate it using a unique password. Download the latest credential and password from SDN.
