Problem locating jaxp1.3 in J2SE1.5 or locating jaxp1.1 in J2EE1.3

Hi All,
I am using an older textbook(2002) on XML and XSL capabilities in Java web applications and the example in the book said that JAXP1.1 contains 3 jar files which are crimson.jar,jaxp.jar and xalan.jar and the book also said that JAXP1.1 is part of J2EE1.3. and is needed for XML and XSL capabilities.
My problem is that I have J2EE1.3 on my hard disk and I can't still locate these jar files. Another problem is that the Sun's website said there is a new version of JAXP called JAXP1.3 and it is part of J2SE1.5. So, I downloaded the J2SE1.5 and still could not locate the said JAXP1.3. Is it me that did not look well for this JAXP file or did you guys encountered this problem?

  • Problems "locating" referenced files after importing from iPhoto.

I recently began importing old iPhoto libraries to Aperture, mostly successfully, but have run into a couple problems locating referenced files. While the locate referenced files function worked for most of the photos, there are a handful of photos that, when I located the original file,  the time stamp was different (by 2 hours in most cases) and it was about 15% smaller than the file Aperture was looking for. As a result, even though it was clear from the thumbnails that they were the same images, Aperture doesn't even give me the option to Reconnect them.
    Aperture 3.4.5
    OS X 10.7.5

. I use the Reconnect All button, but it only finds the one file, even when there are hundreds more in the same folder that are unlinked.
Reconnect all works best, if you select all files that need reconnecting at once, and then select the first file in the list to reconnect. If the other files are in the same folder and are correctly named and match, then "reconnect all" should do it. But if the filenames differ, you will have to do it one by one.
Also,  the files are all still correctly linked in iPhoto, but every single link is broken once I import it to Aperture.
You are importing with "File > Import > Library", correct?
That is supposed to work. Have you tried to repair your iPhoto Library before importing to Aperture?
Use iPhotos First Aid Tools to repair:
Try to repair the permissions, followed by repairing the library.
To launch the First Aid Tools,  hold down the Command and Option keys ⌥⌘ while double-clicking the iPhoto library or the iPhoto icon in the Dock.
The iPhoto Library First Aid dialog appears.  Select the Repair option you want to use - first "permissions", then "database".

  • Problem Locating Files From HARDDRIVE

    So here is my story:
I had a 500GB harddrive which I had my ITUNES music folder. All of my music was nice and sorted and organized and all that jazz, I even went on to rate songs and make playlists for all my 500GBs worth of music. But then my harddrive got filled up so I got a 1TB harddrive. I dont really remember how I did it, but I was able to transfer all my music into that harddrive and keep all my playlists and ratings and play counts still intact.
I kept my older harddrive still connected and made sure my new itunes music folder location was going to my new harddrive..
No problems, until recently i deleted the contents of my old harddrive.. Now, when I click on a song that was added before I got the new harddrive, it wont play and shows the little "!" and would I like to locate..
Now all the songs I have are in the new harddrive as I can easily find their location, however, finding 74,000+ songs individually is a huge pain...
someone please help, as I'm afraid that I may have done something wrong in error..

  • Problems locating assignments using InCopy/InDesign CS5

We have recently introduced an InDesign/InCopy CS5 workflow into our studio. We've come up against a big problem we are hoping someone can shed some light on.
    1. We make an Assignment and package for InCopy.
    2. The InCopy user edits, checks back in.
    3. When opened back to InDesign, we get these two messages:
We are currently just in trial stage and are running between two different Mac OS (10.6.4 and 10.5.8) and sharing files off a PC server running Windows 2003. We changed from AFP to SMB to support longer character names. None of our file names have been moved, renamed or deleted in any way. When we 'Browse to locate the correct document', we go into a never-ending loop of finding and linking but not actually getting anywhere. If we just open the InDesign file, we get the red hexagon and question mark symbol. We click on it, select Update All Assignments, which it does and clears the hexagon symbol however, it duplicates the .imca file in our Assignments folder. Also once we save and reopen, we get the hexagon symbol again.
    What could it be?

    Bob,
We've discovered the problem, I wanted to let you know for future reference. It was to do with a third-party software plug-in we have called Blacklining. We originally used Blacklining in CS3 when all files we worked on needed the plug-in or even a dummy plug-in for anyone else in our studio or print houses to access. This was written out of CS4, however we migrated straight onto CS5 so therefore every previous document made in CS3 still had the Blacklining plug-in attached. We only ever put the plug-in into our Applications folder when packaging for print. So when the plug-in was not in the Applications folder, we got the problems described. When the plug-in was placed back in the folder, it worked seemlessly.

  • Problem locating components by coordinates

    Hi all,
I'm converting an asp application to jsp using JDeveloper. On the asp all the components are located by coordinates, which is not the Java model. I can get a reasonable layout for most of the components using the Java model of forms & panels & tables, etc. However, I have a custom slider control which is made up of 5 pieces which need to located by coordinates relative to each other. So, is there an ADF or JSF (or other) container into which I can place these pieces using coordinates relative to the container so I can then place the container into panelGroup or Form, etc. and have the slider control look right?
    Thanks very much,

    Hi there,
I have a similar experience after upgrading from logic 7.2 to 8.
I now have no AU plus or FX available and the AU Validation program refuses to even run.
I created a new user account and the AU Val program now runs but I have identified that all my NI plugs and my Vienna plug now fail validation. I have contacted NI and VSL about this.
I have also logged a support case with Apple but they are scrathing their heads too.
This was a straight upgrade using all the default settings.
At least Logic 7 still works.
It appears that a new AU validation process is being used as the logic 7 AU VAL program has no problems with any of the plug ins.
Why I've can only run logic 8 with a new user account is also most annoying.
I suggest if you move all your plug ins to another temp folder so that the compnents folder is empty, then create a new user and logic will then run fine. You'll then have to put your plug ins back into the component folder one at a time until the thing falls over.
I suggest you try installing all your plugs minus and NI or VSL ones you have. Also there is a known bug with the TC powercore brickwall limiter - so you need to omit that one for the time being.
    Good luck...

  • Problem locating iTunes music

Ok, so this is my problem: all of my music, videos, games, etc. are showing up on my iTunes. But whenever I try to listen to a song, or watch a video, a message saying "The song *insert song title here* could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" This has happened with every single item in my iTunes library. With some songs I can locate the original in my files and restore it, but with others I can't. And it is SUCH a time consuming process. Is there ANY way I can restore the items in my library easily?

I noticed your first post has this info
+My iTunes library is on a portable hard drive hooked up to my computer.+
I suspect what happened to you is either
#1 the exHD was not hooked up or powered on when you started itunes.
#2 You plugged in some other USB device and the exHD letter got changed in Windows. Mayeb it was F: one day and now it is G:
Either of those 2 situations makes it so itunes cannot find the music files.
For #1, quit itunes, plug the exHD in and make sure you can see it in Win Explorer, and restart itunes. itunes should be able to find your songs if you haven't changed anything else in the meantime.
For #2, assign the drive letter in windows back to what it was before, when itunes was working.
    Use these directions
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307844
Next times you open itunes everything should be back to normal.
    Good luck!

  • Problem locating original files...

My iTunes music folder was moved onto a second hard drive, and now all the songs in iTunes have an exclamation point next to them and the message "The song '____' could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" I can then locate the song on the second hard drive, and it works fine, but my problem is that I don't want to have to do that for all 3000+ songs in my library. Is there any way to do some sort of a mass file locate? (all the files are still arranged the way they were in the original library)

This doesn't help if you don't have the space to transfer back and forth...
    My Case:
    10GB on Internal Drive
    80GB on DVD's (backup)
Step 1. Transfered 80GB from DVD to External (LaCie Big Disk> iTunes Music Folder)
Step 2. Transfered 10GB from Internal Drive to External (LaCie Big Disk> iTunes Music Folder
Step 3. Deleted 10GB from Internal (instead of Consolidating Library, which would of been the right way to do it... but too late now)
Problem: 80GB from DVD's show up fine. 10GB are all classed as missing files.
    - The files are present on my external drive but i don't want to select 2000 tracks FILE BY FILE (when i double click the track and the locate question dialog box comes up.) (TIME CONSUMING)
Question: Is there a way, script or other, to solve this crisis by telling itunes at in one shot where ALL the files are located?
I've already changed the directory of my library via Preferences and checked the option to copy all tracks plus manage.

  • Problem locating 8* infosource in infosource tab

    Hi BW Gurus:
I have a custom ODS for PCA and I have a requirement which requires performing a self-copy of records to the same ODS.
To do this, I generated an export datasource based on this custom ODS. That went through successfully and teh related 8* datasource appears on the Datasource Overview for the BW source system under the "Source systems" tab.
When I go to the Infosource tab in RSA1, however I am unable to locate this 8* infosource.
In the past I have done the same thing for a cube without any problems. Is there something special that needs to be done in relation to an ODS.
The "Display generated Objects" settings have been set to "Show generated ODS objects".
Any help on resolving this is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Abhay.

    Hi BW Gurus:
    Some more information around this.
As a part of troubleshooting this problem, I tried performing the same activity to generate an export datasource on an infocube and it produced the same results i.e. export datasource generated successfully and shows up in the Source System related Datasource overview but NOT on the Infosource tab in RSA1.
I have done this at other clients successfully though this is my first experience with BW 3.5 version so I am wondering if there is something different on 3.5.
    Regards,
    Abhay.

  • Problems locating the Sound Card on the Compu

Creative Sound Blaster li've was accidentaly removed and uninstalled on my computer through Add/Remove programs. Now realizing that I get no sound in any of my speakers for anything, I found the CD for SoundBlaster and installed in back in. I ran diagnostics and everything came up clean. But when I run the Speaker Test I get nothing. I still have absolutley no sound. Then I searched the internet and tried many ways to solve this problem and once a box popped up and said that it couldn't locate an audio card. Please help me.

Which card is it exactly? Check in Device Manager and see if there is any mention of the card there, it may be there with an exclamation point or question mark, with an error code, or as an unknown PCI/multimedia device.

  • Problems locating a wireless network

I have a PowerBook G4, and I'm having some problems connecting to the internet. I've had the laptop for about a week, and when I first brought it home and tried to access the 'net, the AirPort network automatically found the wireless network my PC's are connected to (which is a Netgear router). For some reason this afternoon the internet suddenly stopped working, and the network it connected to previously is nowhere to be found except in the preferred network list. When I scan for it, it doesn't show up at all, and the diagnostic doesn't pick it up either. The two PCs connect fine.
What can I do to force the PowerBook to pick up this network again?

Just came across this thread. Bluepopcicle - have you upgraded your airport card to 3.3.1? Here is the link from apple for this upgrade:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120325
I just installed the original Airport Card in an iMac G4 and with 3.3.1 firmware upgrade I am able to connect to a WPA network created by a 802.11 b/g Airport Express. I do not know if the Airport Express using TPIK or AES encryption for a WPA protocol network, but nevertheless I was able to connect the iMac to the WPA network wirelessly. Hope that helps.
Edited: the iMac G4 is running 10.4.11 so do not worry that the link for the Airport upgrade states that it is for 10.3
