Problem reading JMS message received from MQSeries

I have a message listener listening on an MQSeries queue.
I'm expecting a text message back, but what I get is
partially listed below.
Any idee's to what I need to do would be greatly received.

I have a temporary/partial solution to this problem.
As we control the application adapter that is posting messages to the MQSeries queue, we have changed the sender to put the text into the bytes message object using writeUTF rather than writeText that it was using. My reader the does a readUTF.

• How to read JMS message properties from BPEL or BPMN process

Hi all,
I have a JMS Adapter that consumes messages from a remote ActiveMQ queue and I don't find the way the get the properties of the JMS message as I would like to map them in BPEL or BPMN process variable. I only manage to get the content of the message.
I've also read that if using a MapMessage, one of the map entry can be mapped directly and that the other map entries go to jca.jms.Map.xxxx where xxxx is key of the map entry.
But how can I map those "jca.jms.Map.xxxx" properties on process variables ? and how to map JMS Properties (that seem to be mapped on jca.jms.JMSProperty.xxxx) to process variables ?
I use SOA Suite version : 11.1.1.4.0

• Error reading jms message from MQ-queue

Hi,
To be able to use async-sync bridge in JMS adapter, we recently patched XI 3.0 from SP 15 to SP21. But the jms sender adapter has problem reading the message from the MQ-queue, see detail of error-message at the end of this message.
I did change the adapter to use modules use RequstResponseBean and ResponseOneWayBean as explaned on help.sap.com.
The async-sync bridge worked once and the it started failing.

Hi,
I fixed it myself. I hade to do a Xi Data Cahe Refresh.
Navigate to Administration section on the SAP Exchange Infrestructure start page. On the Directory tab page, choose Cache overview under the heading Administration of Locks and Caches. Do a Full Cache Refresh on the adapter engine.

Thanks for your reply, I changed the web.config, but the issue did not resolved.

Hi Im getting following error from PG Server,Can you please explain what does it mean ?
Protocol Error. Length of message received from JTAPI Gateway (805306376) exceeds maximum (65535).
Fail: sendMsg: MessageType: 30 GWMSG.Message Total Length (127) != raw byte stream length (109)

I think you seee this message in the PIM process, PIM have identified that the message sent by JGW is invalid and length have exceeded.
On what call scenario you got this message ? Did you have the PIM failover occured during this event.

• Problem Reading JMS queue

I have written a jms client to read a queue in weblogic. Specifically the wlai
event queue. However, I have tried to read other not-wli specific queues with
the same error. I get an access denied error even trying the system user!

You need to add a 'browse' permission for your user to the ACL for that queue (or
the weblogic.jms ACL). It worked for me.
If you look in the stack, it mentions that your user was denied for the action
'browse'.

• Problem with seeing messages received on msn messe...

Hi,
I've had the nokia X6 for 3 months now (my future father in law sent it to me as a gift! ) and i absolutely love it, but i have a problem with msn messenger. After i start a conversation with someone, i'm not able to see messages received until AFTER i send a message again, so my messages end up being a delayed response. I don't get any sort of message alert (like i do on my laptop) to make me aware i've been sent a message.
It really annoyed me a few days ago because I was trying to talk to my fiance via msn on my phone, but my responses were slow as i had to send him a message first in order to read his one. He suggested i join this forum, so please can someone help me?!
I know it may sound silly trying to get it solved now, considering i've had it for 3 months, but i wasn't really using msn on my phone till recently. This is the first time i'm able to use the internet on my phone, so i'm extra excited, but this msn problem has been bugging me. Please, please, please can someone help me solve this?
Thanks.
Solved!

LOL yeah, i've got a cool future father in law No, it's not on WLAN or gprs, but yeah, i need to check msn settings and probably call nokia support as well.
Sorry for the late reply. I was subscribed to get an email when someone replies, but i didn't! It's good i decided to check today if there were any responses to my question!

• Unable to read SMS messages received on Xperia Arc

Hi,
I am unable to read SMS messages I have received on my Xperia Arc. They arrive ok to my handset (as they appear in the notification bar) but when I go to open it up under Messaging they don't appear. When I send messages they also don't appear in the conversation.
I assume there is a related symptom to my problem, my Call Log doesn't get updated anymore.
Any ideas? I have looked at thread 28371 and seems similar problems but I did not drop my phone...
I have installed avast! Mobile Security in case I have a virus but it comes up clean.
Cheers, Paul.

I agree with Slimshaddy's comment above. Make sure the time and date is set correctly on your phone. If you continue to have the problem, try resetting the phone and ensuring the time and date it set correctly before you receive any more messages.

I know the code for the jms-sending is OK (I've
tested in another application, copy of code), but i
dont know why it isn't working in this particual
Visual Web Project. It does seem like the injection
isn't taking place here; and i have no clue to
why.....where does your web.xml schema location points to ?
Injection works only with JEE 5, which means that you have to point to the right version of the servlet spec, i.e version="2.5" and web-app_2_5.xsd.

• Problem: sending JMS message in other oc4j

I have two app server instances " OC4J (1) " and " OC4J (2) ". (snandalone 10.1.3.0.0 - Developer Preview 3 (build 041119.0001.2385)). The containers work on Windows2000 in different machines connected by the LAN.
OC4J (1):
I have J2ee of the application [app(1)] (ex. Servlet (1) or MDB (1)) in OC4J (1).
OC4J (2):
I have J2ee of the application [app(2)] deploy in OC4J (2) [included Servlet (2) or MDB (2)] . The Servlet (2), or MDB (2) - empty stub, for example code Servlet2:
package mypackage;
import javax.servlet. *;
import javax.servlet.http. *;
import java.io. PrintWriter;
import java.io. IOException;

PrintWriter out = response.getWriter ();
out.println (" < html > ");
out.println (" < head > < title > Servlet1 < /title > < /head > ");
out.println (" < body > ");
out.println (" < p > The servlet has received a GET. This is the reply.
");
out.println (" < /body > < /html > ");
out.close ();
I have configuration JMS (2) Queue in jms.xml on OC4J (2):
< jms-server...... port = "9127"
< queue name = " Demo Queue " location = "jms/demoQueue" >
A dummy queue
</queue>
< queue-connection-factory name = "jms/QueueConnectionFactory" location = "jms/QueueConnectionFactory" / >
</jms-server>
It JMS (2) Queue already is present in an OC4J 10.1.3 version.
My task:
The J2ee application (1) (ex. Servlet (1)) on OC4J (1) it is necessary to receive connection with JMS (2) (on remote OC4J (2)).
Variant 1: a code in Servlet (1):
Hashtable env=new Hashtable (8);
env.put (Context. PROVIDER_URL, " ormi: // host_OC4J (2)/app(2):23792 ");
env.put (Context. INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, " oracle.j2ee.rmi. RMIInitialContextFactory ");
env.put (Context. SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "admin");
env.put (Context. SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "admin");
env.put ("dedicated.connection", "true");
InitialContext ic = new InitialContext (env);
QueueConnectionFactory connectionFactory = (QueueConnectionFactory)
ic.lookup ("jms/QueueConnectionFactory");
QueueConnection connection = connectionFactory.createQueueConnection ();
connection.start ();
queueSession =
connection.createQueueSession (false, Session. AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
Queue queue = (Queue) ic.lookup ("jms/demoQueue");
ic.close ();
while (true)
// - send in JMS (2)
Problem:
The Servlet (1) [in oc4j (1)] established JMS connection with oc4j (2) and begins to pass the messages [in JMS Queue (2)].
The Oc4j (2) creates some system thread for this JMS connection.
If the oc4j (1) lose network connection (example- break the cable) then created in oc4j (2) system thread is not destroyed.
Saw if this situation repeats some times that amount of the system thread in oc4j (2) is grow.
To me has answered:
In 10.1.3, the supported connection path is through the Resource Adapter (using OracleASjms.rar). The Resource Adapter offers many benefits, including the removal of stale connection threads. You have configured your application to bypass the Resource Adapter and use a direct path to OC4J JMS. You will need to create a resource mapping from your OC4J JMS admin objects (queues, topics, and connection factories) to new Resource Adapter admin objects. You can find the details of how to do this in the documentation for OC4J 10g (10.1.3) Developer Preview 3 on OTN.
You can find the link to the documentation for OC4J DP3 here:
http: // www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/oc4 j/1013/index.html
Then I have tried Variant 2:
I need to receive connection with remote JMS (2) via generic JMS resource adapter (OracleAS Jms).
In OC4J (2), it is necessary сonfigure the generic JMS resource adapter (OracleAS Jms) to work with Queue "jms/demoQueue".
According to the documentation Oracle ® Containers for J2EE Services Guide10g Release 2 (10.1.3) and example
http: // www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/oc4 j/1013/howtos/how-to-jca-intro/doc/how- to-jca-intro.html anything it is not necessary to do.
Note that if you use the generic JMS resource adapter in an OC4J 10.1.3 version that is newer than the OC4J 10.0.3 Developer Preview 2, you can skip. In OC4J 10.1.3 it is a step is already made.
Code in Servlet (1):
Hashtable env=new Hashtable (8);
env.put (Context. PROVIDER_URL, " ormi: // host_OC4J (2) /app (2):23792 ");
env.put (Context. INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, " oracle.j2ee.rmi. RMIInitialContextFactory ");
env.put (Context. SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "admin");
env.put (Context. SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "admin");
env.put ("dedicated.connection", "true");
InitialContext ic = new InitialContext (env);
QueueConnectionFactory connectionFactory = (QueueConnectionFactory)
ic.lookup (" java:comp/resource/oc4jjms/jms/QueueCon nectionFactory ");
QueueConnection connection = connectionFactory.createQueueConnection ();
connection.start ();
queueSession =
connection.createQueueSession (false, Session. AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
Queue queue = (Queue) ic.lookup (" java:comp/resource/oc4jjms/jms/demoQueu e ");
ic.close ();
while (true)
// - send in JMS (2)
This code works.
But!!!!!!
The problem - removal of stale connection threads in OC4J (2) instances has not solve. If the oc4j (1) lose network connection (example- break the cable) then created in oc4j (2) system thread is not destroyed.
How to me to write a code of connection with JMS (2) in Servlet (1), that Resource Adapter (in OC4J (2)) the removal of stale connection threads ???

I have two app server instances " OC4J (1) " and " OC4J (2) ". (snandalone 10.1.3.0.0 - Developer Preview 3 (build 041119.0001.2385)). The containers work on Windows2000 in different machines connected by the LAN.
OC4J (1):
I have J2ee of the application [app(1)] (ex. Servlet (1) or MDB (1)) in OC4J (1).
OC4J (2):
I have J2ee of the application [app(2)] deploy in OC4J (2) [included Servlet (2) or MDB (2)] . The Servlet (2), or MDB (2) - empty stub, for example code Servlet2:
package mypackage;
import javax.servlet. *;
import javax.servlet.http. *;
import java.io. PrintWriter;
import java.io. IOException;
public class Servlet1 extends HttpServlet
private static final String CONTENT_TYPE = " text/html; charset=windows-1251 ";
public void init (ServletConfig config) throws ServletException
super.init (config);
public void doGet (HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException
response.setContentType (CONTENT_TYPE);
PrintWriter out = response.getWriter ();
out.println (" < html > ");
out.println (" < head > < title > Servlet1 < /title > < /head > ");
out.println (" < body > ");
out.println (" < p > The servlet has received a GET. This is the reply.
");
out.println (" < /body > < /html > ");
out.close ();
I have configuration JMS (2) Queue in jms.xml on OC4J (2):
< jms-server...... port = "9127"
< queue name = " Demo Queue " location = "jms/demoQueue" >
A dummy queue
</queue>
< queue-connection-factory name = "jms/QueueConnectionFactory" location = "jms/QueueConnectionFactory" / >
</jms-server>
Hashtable env=new Hashtable (8);
env.put (Context. PROVIDER_URL, " ormi: // host_OC4J (2)/app(2):23792 ");
env.put (Context. INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, " oracle.j2ee.rmi. RMIInitialContextFactory ");
env.put (Context. SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "admin");
env.put (Context. SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "admin");
env.put ("dedicated.connection", "true");
InitialContext ic = new InitialContext (env);
QueueConnectionFactory connectionFactory = (QueueConnectionFactory)
ic.lookup ("jms/QueueConnectionFactory");
QueueConnection connection = connectionFactory.createQueueConnection ();
connection.start ();
queueSession =
connection.createQueueSession (false, Session. AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);
Queue queue = (Queue) ic.lookup ("jms/demoQueue");
ic.close ();
while (true)
// - send in JMS (2)

• Problems with iPhone messaging - received messages showing as sent messages and messages sent to one family member gets received by other family members.

AT&T family plan - 4 iPhones in use by family members (4s, 4g, and two 3g's). Weird things happen when we text message:
1. Sometimes, received messages look like they are sent messages - and no alert is sounded. The conversation looks like you are talking to yourself. Sometimes it happens to both parties in a text conversation, sometimes it only happens to one party. Deleting the message entirely and starting over from scratch sometimes fixes the problems and sometimes doesn't fix the problem. Once this phenomenon starts in a conversation it is almost impossible to get it to stop.
2. Sometimes text messages to a specific family member get replicated to other family members as if in a group conversation - but group is turned off. This happens sporadically but it happens. Quite embarassing when husband and wife are sending private messages then suddenly the kids see the message on their iPhones! Can't figure out why this happens or what makes it happen, but happens a lot!!!
Has anyone had these problems or knows how to fix them?

Be specific.
Everyone?  or Every Device?
If every device, does that mean you can no longer share apps?
KiltedTim wrote:

Don't do that. iMessage is designed to sync messages between all devices configured with the same Apple ID.
Everyone should have their own Apple ID. They were never designed to be shared.

Now I have encountered a problem when trying to read an output control that is a RefNum (actually a strict type def that I think is based on a DataLogRefNum containing a Enum). I get the following error message: "pywintypes.com_error: (-2147352567, 'Exception occurred.', (0, None, None, None, 0, -2147352571), 2)"

• WebLogic 9 and Antlr problem with JMS Messages

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem and your help would be very appreciated.
We've got an EAR application deployed on a WebLogic 9.x. As we use Hibernate3, when we put it into WebLogic 10, we needed to add "antlr" library to our "weblogic-application.xml" as "prefer-application-packages" (This is because of the well-known error of ClassNotFoundException of the HqlToken class).
The version of Antlr we have is 2.7.7, and works perfectly in WebLogic 10.
Now, we want to have an EAR that can be installed in both WebLogic 9.x and 10. But we're getting a fatal exception when we want to create a JMS consumer with a JMS selector in WebLogic 9.x(this is for listening only for the message we need in the queue).
So, in WebLogic 10 it works with "antlr" in the prefer-application-packages, but in WebLogic 9.x doesn't. And if we don't put it there, it works in WL 9 but not in WL 10.
The best would be to have the library in the weblogic-application.xml so WebLogic put our library first in the classpath. But in WL 9 we've got this exception:

Check that "invocationId" is a JMS String Property that we're adding in the messages. Our same source code works perfect in WL 9 without "antlr" as an prefered application package. You know that in WL 9, the antlr library was bundled into the weblogic.jar, so WL has it in his System classpath.
Someone has an idea how we can solve this? The final solution may be having 2 EARs (one for WL 9 and one for WL 10, with the only change of the weblogic-application.xml), but it's not a nice solution.
Thank you a lot in advance.

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem and your help would be very appreciated.

• Problem - reading an abitrary string from the command line in basic swing

Hi,
I'm sorry if this problem is a bit basic, but I've only just started swing in Java. Anyway, I'm trying to adapt a basic swing version of the HelloWorld class. When I try to pass an abitrary string from the command line to the label within the class, I get the following error,
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 1
at week2.HelloWorldSwing_commandline.main(HelloWorldSwing_commandline.java:31)
Java Result: 1I must be missing something because I can't see where the problem is in the following code.
import javax.swing.*;
import java.awt.*;
public class HelloWorldSwing_commandline {
String message;
private static void createAndShowGui(String message){
JFrame.setDefaultLookAndFeelDecorated(true);
JFrame frame = new JFrame("HelloWorldSwing");
frame.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
JLabel label = new JLabel(message);
Container content = frame.getContentPane();
content.add(label);
frame.pack();
frame.setVisible(true);
public static void main(String[ ] args) {
createAndShowGui(args[1]);
}Any help would really be appreciated.

Hi,
I've tried changing the index value to O in the main method, but I still get the same error.
I'm running this in NetBeans 4.1, and when I try to run the class I get the error as listed above.
Any ideas how to correct this error?
Thanks
