Problem to refresh Image

Hi,
i Show a report(Image) in my jsp page.and that report changed in every week.but when my image changed in server but in browser show only privious image,becouse my image name not changed, browser get image in cookies or cashe.so Plz tell me how can i see my latest image in browser.

Personally I've never managed to get those Pragma and Cache-control headers to work properly or reliably across different browsers.
There is another way which is to send a dummy parameter that always changes, that way the browser doesn't look in its cache.
e.g. instead of http://www.mysite.com/mypage.jsp
send
http://www.mysite.com/mypage.jsp?time=349813987
and use System.currentTimeMillis(), which is guaranteed to be always different.
This has always worked for me.
In your case since the image always changes, perhaps you could simply give the image a different name each time.

ok, I'll try to explain better.
1) I have a table with a BLOB field to store images.
2) When I save the image in the database it saves ok.
3) Shows the image perfectly in a field "Display Image"
4) When I delete the image and record another, the database is ok, but it seems that the image remains in the cache, I even writing a new image.
5) Demonstrate the new image only when I logoff and login again.

Refreshment problem when place image.

Hi Experts,
When I insert image using script then there is a refreshment problem.
In place of second image there place first image.
while if I debug this it place in correct order. But in Run case script not place image in order.
There is a refreshment problem After place First image it not refresh and have first image.
How solve this problem That i place image in proper order in Script Run mode.

My problem is like this :
I want place image in a text box
File(menu)-->place....-->(Dialog open then Select Image file then click on open)->then image is attach with cursor. (I do not click on .indd open screen).

This is the problem to place image. So there is image duplicasy and some image missing.
Is there is solution of this problem ?
How remove image which is already attach with cursor ?

Refresh image in a ScrollingImagePanel. Please help me!

In my aplication I have to show a tiff image in a ScrollingImagePanel.I aplly some efects on the image, for example rotate the image, etc.
It is working fine, but I have problem to refresh the image in the same ScrollingImagePanel.The code compiles but I have exceptions when I run the method:

I can't either with my Treo700wx, and from what I see with my plan, it's definitely because of Alltel. They have a seperately priced option for picture messaging that I had with my old (non-smart) phone that isn't even an option with the smart-choice packages.
So...I'm also listening. Having the only way to send pictures with the phone being through email is pretty dumb. We pay enough for the plans, you'd think they could include it...or at least offer it as an option.

Problem in refreshing popup

I have problem in refreshing popup.
On main page there is one table and in one column of that table i put commandImageLink .on click of that image i supposed to open one popup where i am displaying info result.
on first click of that image i am able to show result correctly but if i change the row and try to click image again i am not able to show new result .it is showing old one.Onclick i checked new result values are retrived by server but not reflecting on popup.
One more thing which i observerd is that at first time when i click image it goes to action method and then open popup but at next click it opens popup fisrt and then call action method.

Problem with Gif image

Having a problem with gif image not showing up. It will show up in netscape6.2, but not in IE 5.0. Both are using the java 1.4 plugin. They are basic buttons (zoom in, zoom out, etc) and they actions work, just the icons aren't showing. Any help would be great! Below is a snip of code:

I used to do a lot of work in this sort of thing. After a while we were able to convince our bosses to use generated HTML (JSPs, etc.), so the problem moved to porting JavaScript to different platforms! (Platforms in this context means the different browser/OS combinations, etc.).
The only two things I can recommend are:
- complete control over you code. You will have to fix it! (Tried you apps on a Mac yet?)
- assume a minimal install. Don't assume users are going to have any fancy tools installed on their PC, unless you are developing an Intranet app, where you know the spec of the machines that are going to be using it.
As regarding getting IE to use a relative address, I don't think you are going to have any luck their, I'm afraid! (Although I am curious. It has been some time, but I though it did use relative addresses. Are you absolutely sure about this, did you check this out with System.outs and that?

External hosting server has problems uploading my images

Hi. I am experiencing difficulties getting my new hosting provider to upload my images. I use the upload to FTP on the file menu and I get a message in apop up window. "FTP - Validation, Could not validate that the specified domain is associated with the FTP server and folder. Proceed anyway? Yes / No"
This also occurred on my previous host provider and when I clicked Yes it uploaded OK and my site has been running for several months already.
My new host's support technician has been on the phone with me all afternoon trying to upload the files. It will upload the HTML files very quickly but then runs into problems with the images. So I have spent a few hours renaming each file and saving them to web. I have made sure all images and assets are linked and in the same folder. As the FTP upload struggles on it keeps stopping at various images the the computer freezes and I have to wait until it comes back to life. It doesn't crash.
My previous host's technicians and the present one suggested that the problem is in the software - Muse.
Has anyone else had these or similar problems?. Maybe I should rebuild in Dreamweaver?
Oh by the way, my website www.bilyz.com uploads to Adobe Business Catalyst without a problem. Try it and see.

Thanks for your help. I have done as suggested and I have also tried alternative settings without successful upload. I have checked and double checked all the assets, then rechecked the sizes of each of my images before trying to upload to the FTP server.
1. I tried to upload with a forward slash in the folder field box - Result was a window " \public_html " does not exist. Do you want to create it?

Each time I click on Resume the screen freezes for a while then returns to 'live' and it all begins again. It is perplexing me why my site uploads to BusinessCatalyst without any problems. It also uploaded to Namesco.co.uk without too much difficulty (my first upload)
Yesterday prior to contacting you the hosting technician at Vidahost.com took command of my computer and tried to see what the problem was but obviously without success and suggested that the Muse software could be at fault - which I doubt.
I have taken screen capture jpegs of the windows but don't understand how to include them.

Problem in refreshing the data of the UI element Table

Hi Experts,
I am having a problem.
I have a screen which displays list of variants in table ( variant name , variant desc )
I am binding the entries of table in WDDOINIT method.
but when i go back to selection screen view and come back to display variants view, WDDOINIT is not triggering.
Now if i move the code written in WDDOINIT method to WDDOMODIFYVIEW method, its not retaining the lead selection as the binding happens on every server round trip. if i check with First_time = 'X'. its same as that of having it in WDDOINIT method.
How do i overcome this problem of refreshing the table data.
any clue is highly appreciated.

Problem with refresh of snapshot

I am facing one problem with refresh of a snapshot. In the front end (developed in D2K) there is a PL/SQL code written which loops through user_snapshots and refreshes each snapshots one by one.
With one particular snapshot its giving the error. I traced the session and found the problematic snapshot. I tried to refresh the same snapshot with some other user with DBA role granted to it and its working fine.
Now I logged in to SQL Plus with the user Z0000 ( This is the user with which the application user logs in to the application) and tried to rerfresh the snapshot. Its giving me ORA-03113 end-of-file on communication channel. Then I granted DBA role to user Z000 and then tried to refresh its again giving the same error.
I tried with many different users and its working fine.
Any ideas where could be the problem.

What version of iPhoto? Of the OS? what devices are you haveing problems with? can you download teh photos to a desktop folder using image capture (in your applications folder) and import from there - or open with priview from there?

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.
As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
