Problem while modifying sample adapter

Hi
I am trying to modify the sample adapter but am stuck with a problem. I am trying to create a connection to my data base (datasource.getconnection()) in place where the sample adapter creates fileoutputstream. But i get this error ;
Catching com.sap.engine.services.dbpool.exceptions.BaseSQLException:
ResourceException in method ConnectionFactoryImpl.getConnection(): com.sap.engine.services.connector.exceptions.BaseResource
Cannot open resource(Managed Connection) with LocalTransaction support or add a second one in the same transaction, for component "ejbContexts/sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.app/ModuleProcessorExitBean"

Problem while modifying searches in Imaging 11.1.1.5

Hi
I am facing serious issues while modifying searches in IPM.
Initially while creating applications, and uploading data in those applications, the fields were not added in sequence.
So we re-ordered the sequence from database and it worked fine.
But now because of re-ordering the search results column have also been reordered(Result Formatting) in Search Creation.
While modifying i am facing following error:

If you haven't solved this yet, it looks as if your DB server is not
running, hence any elements that rely on a db server, such as connection
pools and elements that use those pools such as datasources are not
going to start correctly.
It seems that properties are not properly assigned in the
startPointBase.cmd script on Windows NT (haven't verified behaviour on
2000 although I know it works out of the box on Solaris). I'd suggest
starting the pointbase server manually with the correct pointbase.ini
file and then starting WLS/WLP afterwards.

Problem while modifying number datatype.

Hi All,
I have modified a column, which is of number datatype.
Initially it was number(8,2), now I have changed this to Number(10,2).
But, due to some change in requirement, I have to revese the changes. Now, I am trying to make it Number(8,2), but it is giving me the following error.
Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-01440: column to be modified must be empty to decrease precision or scale
01440. 00000 - "column to be modified must be empty to decrease precision or scale"
Is there a way to make it?
Please suggest..

Problem While Activating Transformation

I am currently working on BW 7.0 on Purchasing Area, I found some problem while modifying the transformation or activating the transformation. I have mapped the data source 2LIS_02_SCL Purchasing Data (Schedule Line Level). I have written a routine for mapping rules of 0ORDER_VAL base on the source field of BWVORG, BWAPPLNM, BWEFFWR, BEDAT, WAERS, HWAER, WKURS. And it shows no error while syntax check. But while activating the Transformation it leads to dump. And after that if I try to change the routine, it leads me to the same dump.

I am unable to modify 'personnel Information' information, which is in 'Options' of messaging server web interface. It actually modifying some attributes in directory servers. I able to see the following errors in Directory server.

Problem with Sender JDBC adapter while processing the message

I have a Problem with the JCA Sample Adapter in the PCK 7.1 SP07. I will test the Configuration ( http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/f7/0c2441509fa831e10000000a1550b0/content.htm ) .
But the receiver channel has a Massage processing failure: u201CMessage processing failed. Cause: java.lang.Exception: JNDI name of the ra connectionFactory is not configured. Go to the directory and create a value with name 'JNDIName' and value 'deployedAdapters/<ra name>/shareable/<ra name>' as module configuration data of the module 'ModuleProcessorExitBean'u201D
In the JNDI-Browser of Netwaver Administration canu2019t found JNDIName from directory ('deployedAdapters/sample_ra/shareable/sample_ra). I have located the name deployedAdapters/com.sap.aii.adapter.sample.ra/shareable/com.sap.aii.adapter.sample.ra and change this in the receiver channel u201CTo_Au201D. But I have the same problem.

Yes I followed the Instruction.
I have deployed the Sample Source as AdapterJCA, change the JNDI name in the SampleRa.xml and upload to CPA Cache.
I have by now the Configuration deleted in PCK and rebuild the scenario. The demo Configuration runs now. I think the Configuration in the CPA Cache was wrong.

            We have developed a Sample Adapter in XI for a client requirement. Its working fine except a one problem that sometimes it does not work but when we re-deploy the same sample.sda file through SDM , it starts working. It's a weird behaviour of Sample Adapter.
           Sometimes it happens very frequently and when i re-deploy it , starts working.
           Does anyone face the similar problem before?
           And what might be the problem for this behaviour.

PROBLEM while using URL in order to open a file from a servlet

You are writing (<filesize> mod 4096) bytes of crap at the end of the file. Use your variable j instead for the number of bytes to write in your loop.

Movement_Type = value from 1.
Process_order_type = value from 2.
Transaction_Code = 'xyz'
ORDER BY Transaction_ID ASC
So check Missed record Fullfill this Condition or not ....................
If not ... You will get why they are not picked by your given Query ...........

Error while using DB Adapter in BPEL

Error:
An error occurred while obtaining stored procedures. Verify that the database connection is valid.
I have installed BPEL 10.1.2.0.2 and linked it to a local Oracle DB(not using Oracle Lite). Here, there is no problem invoking a stored procedure while using DB adapter.
Now, when I try to invoke stored procedure that is not present in local Oracle DB, it gave me above error.
I was able to make new DB connection, browse to correct schema and procedure. The moment I click <Next>, the error came.
Any pointer!!

To answer your question: The error happened during design time.
It was a mistake from my side. I did not see that JDeveloper put a default IN argument while selecting the stored procedure, whereas my procedure did not have any.
My issue was resolved once I put a dummy argument in my stored procedure.
