Problem while using swing. I need some help

Question

Whe I am trying to execute the following code (very simple one) my PC hangs up, any ideas about this?!!
the code is:
import javax.swing.JOptionPane; // import class JOptionPane
public class Welcome4 {
public static void main( String args[] )
JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(
null, "Welcome\nto\nJava\nProgramming!" );
System.exit( 0 ); // terminate the program
//end of the code

Your code works fine on my PC. It doesn't hang but come out with expected result.
