Problem wih a requestDispatcher

Hi,
I would want to know if it is incorrect to do in a form header :
<form action='"+sc.getContext("/Players").getRequestDispatcher("/index.jsp")+"'></form>This would return a getRequestDistacher, but, could be asigned to a form a getRequestDistacher value or by the contrary the form needs a String to be asigned?

hi,
In the exercise I am doing the code I have written belongs to a servlet. I know that if I want to follow the MVC pattern, the form must go in a JSP, but in this case goes in a servlet.
After all I want to go to the index.jsp of another resource ubicated in the server.
But, that is other problem, because the application doesn`t run . Not because is incorrect, (I think so). The problem (related by other user) maybe that I have to edit one file , probably context.xml or server.xml and put "crossContext=true" to allow to go to one resource to another resource ubicated in the server. But I have been reading the documentation of Apache Tomcat (I have Tomcat 6.0.16 embebed in the Netbeans 6.1) and I am unable to resolve that problem.

If you are certain you have the right serial number, there really isn't much we can help you with here. You might try downloading and installing the last version of Lightroom 2. It will be the trial version, but when the trial screen appears there is an option to indicate that you have a serial number. Incidentally, Lightroom serial numbers start with the first four digits being 1160.

Problem wih analysis authorization for two scenarios on same data provider

Dear all,
I am looking for a solution on the following authorization scenario (using the new analysis authorization). Unfortunately everything that I tried did not work out as expected:
User A is allowed to manually access query 1 (based on cube A) with authorization on all sites A-Z
The same user A shall get an email distribution automatically (derivation of the filter in the query out of the authorization) for query 2, which is as well based on cube A, but this time the authorization shall be limited only to site A.
As both queries are based on the same infoobject (0PLANT) and the same infoprovider (0TCAIPROV) I always get the result for all sites A-Z. The 0TCAACTVT is in both cases 03 (display), so I have no chance to distinguish between reporting and email distribution.
Probably the only chance would be to derive the values for the email distribution scenario not from the authorization directly, but using a customer exit to fill the filter - but I would prefer a "standard" solution...
Any ideas??

Before give you an alternative for you problem, Iu2019d like to comment the combining authorization concept:

For this reason I suggest you which combing restriction through authorization and query filter. For query 2 try to use in 0PLANT characteristic the single value u201Csite Au201D, this restriction give you only authorization for see this value.
Otherwise, you have to use customer exit.

Problem wih delivery address on print preview

Dear experts,
I have a problem with the delivery address on the print preview.
When i create my PO and i attahced the storage location my delivery address in good in the PO and in the print preview.
When i'm not attaching the storage location the delivery address in PO is the one of the plant but in the print preview i have the different address that i do not know where its comming from.
Can you tell me which addreess in used by program as a delivery address when the storage location is not mentioned?
I thinkits that program SAPFM06P.

in case of 3rd party order you have a account assignment which has the sales order number.
execute VA03 und enter the sales order number. goto the partner tab at header level and obtain which customer number is the ship-to.
the address for this customer number can be seen with XD03 transaction.
you can as well check at KNA1 table to find the address number and with address number again get the address from ADRC table.

Problems wih contacts automatically linking

I have two email accounts set up on my PB, plus Facebook, plus Twitter, plus LinkedIn. The contacts app automatically attempts to link these accounts so that when I pull up, for example, John Smith, I get all of his contact info (facebook, email, etc) on one screen.
The problem, though, is that the PB is not linking John Smiths accounts to each other but instead linking totally different contact together in a seeminly random fashion. So I pull up John Smith's contact, and I see his info intermingled with, say, Sarah Fortis's Facebook info. Worse, if Sarah Fortis sends me an email, the top banner of that email message then says it's from John Smith.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone successfully resolve it other than going into clntacts and manually unlinking them all? Thanks in advance.

The messages app is supposed to link only people with same first and last name.
Seeing as this post was not answered earlier in August either, and the manual does not suggest a remedy, then maybe the problem is specific to your account and email provider combination, and in fact people are not suffereing this in any numbers.
So I would suggest you use the Messages app for email only and use either the plain browser with bookmarks for social networking or the specific Facebook and Twitter apps. You should get status messages sent to your email address anyway I guess.
Most similar problems in the forum have been when using email with social network accounts in Messages, Removing the social stuff usually remedies it.
Social networking providers do their best to cross contaminate and maybe this app puts the final touches to it.
I know people do use them for business so I will suppress my usual derision for such "social" networking services, but I admit to never using them on Playbook, so more informed advice is still welcomed.

Problem wih UWL iView

I am facing a strange problem. In portal when I use a UWL iView the UWL item is shows one day behind in portal. In R/3 the date is perfect. I checked the dates in R/3 and Portal system and they are same.

Just to clarify, are you referring to Alt Space bar left click and drag for zoom? If yes, then that needs 'Use GPU' enabled in Preferences > Performance. So can you check that? It actually works with either Ctrl or Alt together with the space bar. Left mouse click and drag left and right to zoom in and out.
If GPU is checked, can you try some different settings?

You should also make sure the video card driver is fully up to date, and from the card maker's web site.

Windows 8 - Lenovo Solution Center claiming problem wih disabled printer (but it's not disabled)

I have an HP printer for which I needed to replace the stock Windows 8 printer driver with HP's full featured driver. Since I did that, Lenovo Solution Center [LSC] complains (under Check-up> Device Manager) that "one or more devices have problems" and it lists my Officejet 4500 G510n-z as "disabled". When I go to device manager to check the status of my printers, I see a print queue category of devices, and all of them, including the two associated with the printer, are enabled and "working properly".
Under what circumstances does Solution Center determine that a device is disabled? How do I convince Solution center it is making the wrong assessment ;-)....or perhaps there is something wrong but looking at Device Manager doesn't tell me so??? Is there another place I should check?
I finally solved the wan miniport problem (thanks to other posters), so now I have 1 problem left to fight to be able to rid myself of unwarranted exclamation marks from LSC.

I have same problem after completely installing the HP full solution driver and application support for the printer. It's the "Multifunction Adapter" category in Device Manager that causes LSC to show the error. I already have a Z: Sendto device that corresponds to the SD Card for the printer, but have nothing inserted. If I attempt to Update Driver for the multi-function adapter, it's not finding driver on Internet (Windows Update) and not finding a signed driver for Windows 8 under Update Driver, Printer driver support if you choose the locate on c: drive and point to the correct HP printer. Interesting also, I have three "discovered" HP printers, all showing "Disabled" Multi-Function adapters under Device Manager by LSC.

Problems wih export to pdf

I've created a newsletter in pages (Version 2), with jpeg images (Fix Object) with a drop shadow around a coloured border. Also title text with a drop shadow. Looks great in pages but when I export to pdf, all the drop shadows disappear, creating a very plain looking doc.
I've tried using the export to pdf, print save to pdf, print/preview - save to pdf.
Yet if I open the newly created pdf file in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat 7, There are no drop shadows.
if I open in preview, the shadows are there.
But this doesn't work if I'm sending the pdf file to people in the windows world who don't have preview.
The only work around is to export it to word, save it as a pdf, which then the file triples in size from 1 MB to almost 4 MB.
Same thing, no drop shadows in adobe, but shows up in preview.
The only solution I have found is to take the saved pdf file from word, open it in PDFpenPro, re-save it and then compress it back down to a 1 MB file with PStill.
If I try this approach with the saved pdf file from Pages, I get a line of black dots where there are spaces after a period of a sentence.
Any insight to this would be great.

There is a simple three-step solution:
1. 'Print' your Pages file to PostScript (in the Print dialogue window select 'Save as PostScipt)
2. In Acrobat, 'Open' or 'Create PDF from File' - your PostScript file. With Acrboat 7 Distiller kicks-in automatically and distills the PS file to whatever settings you've chosen.
3. Save your new PDF - watch how Acrobat processes the PS file and reduces it to e-mailable size.
With this method you retain your Pages shadows and other formatting in the final PDF.
I produce a magazine in Pages and this procedure turned out to be the only one that worked in order to prepare Pages files for professional printing. If anyone knows a different solution, I would very much like to hear from them.
Also, note that the PDF produced by this method will be RGB (computer screen 3 colours,) not CMYK (printers' 4 colour). Many professional printers would do further conversion themselves, but many wouldn't.

Problem wih MobileMe Login

Hi,
Just upgraded to Snow Leopard and after reboot, have been facing issues with MobileMe.
1. Firstly, a pop up window kept appearing saying that I've entered an invalid MobileMe member name or password, for i'm very sure it's correct.
2. Then, when i go to MobileMe Sync Preferences, another pop up window appears to say that there's a keychain error.
3. I somehow managed to sign in to MobileMe, but the system still does not Sync! Weird!
Very very frustrated as MobileMe subscription is not cheap! Anyone has a fix to this?

Hello all. This is my first time doing this, so I hope I don't screw it up. I had the exact same scenario as Darin Simmer described. Several calls to Apple. Here's what seems to have worked.
Home Folder/Library/Keychains, drag the Keychains folder onto the desktop...
Log out, and log back in.
They told me to leave the Keychains folder on my desktop for a week or so.
I had to re-enter passwords one more time, but they seem to have stuck, and I don't get the stupid "Keychain error" message anymore, or the "You've entered an invalid MobileMe password" error.
I guess something was corrupted in the Keychains folder when I upgraded to Snow Leopard.
After a week, I deleted the Keychain folder from my desktop, and my computer didn't explode.

N82 problems wih map loader.

I'm trying to use the map loader on an N82. I connect the USB, select "Data transfer" on the phone, and then on the PC run the map loader.
At this point I get "No storage medium detected" error message, and the phone flashes "Unable to activate data transfer mode. Data card is in use by another application".
I've exited the media player, and can't think of what else could be using the card (yes, there is a card plugged in).
Anyone else experience this? I had no such hassle with an N73 (lots of other hassle, but not specifically this one)
