Problem with buttons in PlugIn SkillBuilders Save Before Exit

Hi,
i'm using the plug in and it works fine if i press for example the back button of the browser. But when i press a button in the application which redirects to another page it doesn't work :-(
Do you have any ideas?

I'd call that a bit rash. Honestly I believe the plugin to be well documented and implemented. Too dependant on the version of apex? Well sure, if you feel downgrading your apex installation you will run into trouble, but I haven't had issue yet with installing a 4.0 plugin into a 4.2 installation. The apex team has handled that well so far. And in this case there are actually version provided for 4.0 and 4.1+!
It is reliable and stable - as far as javascript implementations can go of course. I wouldn't attach important business logic to it for example. I don't see Oracle implementing it too fast. There are more pressing issues that need handling, and there is no solution without loopholes (because, javascript) and it would most likely deal with a jQuery selector too.
What Jorge mentioned about using HTML button was just a small example too, not a solution per se. He posted those lines from the docs and even outlined the important one in bold, and I'll do it again:
In these cases, or any others that may apply, the selector can be modified as needed. The value specified can be any valid jQuery selector. See the documentation for more details on selectors.
See what I did there? That is the most important part of it. I'd say that using template buttons would be great even, as it will allow you to add a class to all your buttons for example, making it easier to select them with jQuery. Maybe you aren't too familiar with jQuery? It gives you a great deal of flexibility here! It would also allow you to look at the plugin javascript, which can also be quite enlightening. Something which is always a plus when doing this. A cursory glance at provided javascript files can tell you a great deal about the care that has gone into it.
Just my opinion though. If you just would've said "I'm not familiar with jQuery selectors and don't want to deal with that now/ever" then that is as good a reason as any. I just don't think that with the reasons you provided you gave this a lot of chance. (And no, I'm not Skillbuilders affiliated in any way - I just like and use the plugins.)
Even Dan himself offered to take a look at a demo you would provide. So why not provide 2 pages and some buttons and see how far you can take this?

The funny thing is that all the above errors don't occur on the loacl admin account. So I think this might be a permission problem. I think the most easy sollution would be to work under the admin account, but sadly that's no option (company policy). The both Adobe folders in program files and program files (x86) I already changed to full acces for all users. Can someone please help me?

This is a permissions Error. The other accounts on the computer do have permissions to use / change the administrator settings of these particular items.
There are two ways you can fix this. 1.) contact the admin of the system and let him know your accounts need read access to these items
My Preferred method is:
If you are on a Windows Account, then you can choose those items to run in Administrator mode for all people. ( win7,64bit )
Right click the infinity system for creative cloud (creative cloud icon - you would normally click to start the program. (not the one in your service tray, but the one in your menu area with the square red on it.
choose/click on properties
choose/click compatibility (tab at the top of the window)
Last boxed option on this screen is: Run Program As Administrator, Click that check box.
Click on Change Settings for All Users
in the window that comes up again choose, put an X in the box- the last option, Run Program As Administrator - Click Apply
Click OK
Click OK and the opened preferences window should now be closed.
You should be able to simply invoke the Cloud app now. But you might want to reboot to safe.
Depending on the installation methods used for your add-ons, you may have to perform this same process for all add-ins. I believe that would depend on which account, first installed the add-on and what level of permissions they have.

I'm having problems with FlashPlayerPlugin and plugin-container. They keep starting up and bogging down the system. This has been a recent occurrance. I've made sure that I have the latest version. I notice the problem when I am opening some applicatio, and it freezes. If I go to Task Manager, I can see the two Adobe apps sucking up CPU cycles. If I end the processes, then the other apps continue. Today, I uninstalled FlashPlayerPluginqand plugin-container. All day since I have had no freezing of an app. What should I do to correct the problem?

Found a security problem with Google Recaptcha plugin. If I delete the tag containing the recaptch(on some page) with Firebug, I can authorize myself without validating with Recaptcha. If someone knows how to fix this problem, I'll be be very thankful.

you can secure it by adding an "Item specified is NOT NULL" validation to your page.
Will update the documentation and try to add a permanent fix in a new version of the plug-in.

Problems with iMovie DH plugins

When I start iMovie I receive 10 messages that say " there is a problem with" ten different plugins. They seem to work in the program, but I have to click "OK" tem times every time I state iMovie.

I did: Move out the plug-ins to desktop.
Move them back (in blocks to find out which one was faulty) but if You have

Problems with "File Open" and "File Save As" in Tiger

I recently upgraded to OS10.4.3 on my PowerBook G4 and ever since I have had only frustration upon frustration with this new version.
When launching a program whether it be QuarkXpress 6.5, Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, InDesign CS or Acrobat 6.0 and you go "File Open", it can take up to 3 minutes before the "Open" window dialog box will appear so that you can access your files. The same applies to the first "File Save As" in any of these programs. After that everything works normally.
Has anyone experienced this problem with Tiger and is there a solution? I should be most grateful for any assistance.

PowerBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.3)

I got so frustrated with iDisk that I did indeed turn mine off altogether. Now I just mount it when I need it, and do whatever I want to do manually. And it is STILL annoyingly slow, not only in its own operations, but in the way it hijacks the Finder and can sometimes bring all Finder operations to a grinding halt.
I keep a local copy of the all the files I have on my iDisk in a perfectly normal folder. And I keep looking forward to the day when the promised seamless operation of my local files and iDisk will actually work.
I've been waiting for several years and thru several different incarnations of the OS, and it ain't there yet. I think Apple's version of WebDAV is just really really bad. I've heard other WebDAV servers work better. And I figured it was a bad sign when, back in Panther, one of Apple's own helpers recommended a third party WebDAV software (Goliath) to access the servers rather than using the Finder. I didn't think things could get any worse--until Tiger came along. A bad situation can get worse, and it did.
Maybe when Leopard gets here.....

I'm developing a jsp-page, which has two page-fragments and one inline frame..
I've a problem with one page-fragment. This one contains three buttons, for changing the language. When someone pushes the button, it seems that there is no action triggered...

I was working with dropdowns in pagefragments consequent to your query. I noticed that there is a problem with the dropdowns too. This especially happens if you have the same components in both the page fragments. For example buttons in both the page fragments or dropdowns in both page fragments etc.

Problem with buttons in Content Viewer iPad app

Hi,
I'm having a problem with my navigation once my app is viewed on the iPad. All pages in all of my articles are using the same master page for a menu button, and they all work when I view the app through the Content Viewer on my desktop. Once I log in to the Content Viewer on my iPad, however, the menu button on the first page of every article doesn't work. I did a test of swapping the first page with the second page in one of the articles, and the original page's menu button then worked while the second page's (now located at the beginning) wasn't being read. Other buttons on the first page work (which are also from the master page), it's just the menu button that makes my table of contents box appear. I have eleven articles in my folio and it's happening on the first page of every single one. Not too sure what's going on here, any help is appreciated.

A 'gallery' button is pressed and the ball image appears with three buttons: "Previous image", "Next image" and "close gallery".
I do not want the gallery to be visible, or buttons that control, until the button is pressed "gallery", so I think all buttons except "gallery" with the "hidden until activated" option selected.
I want the gallery, and buttons that control it, disappears when I press the button "close gallery".
What I call "Gallery" is an image that fills the screen.

The buttons "Previous Image" and "Next Image" are assigned, respectively, to go to previous state and go to the next state.

I'm afraid the way you're doing this is not going to work with DPS.
This should all be done with a multi state object. The first state would contain nothing but a button to go to the first state. After that set up each state with the proper buttons. Without seeing the file it's a bit difficult for me to envision exactly what you want to do.

I've tried a few different forums on the net and so far there has been no reponse to my problem below. My coursework is due in tomorrow and I'm at my wits end.
I am really new to Flash and am having a problem with my application. I have created a button that I want to use to activate some pre-recorded film. I know I need to use some code to do this, however I can't seem to get it right.
I have deleted the film from the library as I thought it may be a problem in how I imported the .flv files, so I will need to reimport these (with some advice on how to do it right).
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I'm testing out the data cache to see if it helps some of my performance
problems, but I now get lots of exceptions that I didn't get before I
enabled the cache. Here's how I enabled it:

Problems with the SMIL-plugin

I've played around a little bit with the SMIL-plugin and ran in to some problems that might be possible bugs. Hope somebody could shed some light on this.
1. Adding the attribute clipBegin and/or clipEnd seems to be ignored in the creation of all elements in a dynamic streaming switch. This might even be ignored on a single video element, I haven't tried that out though. I have also tried to add the "s" (seconds) suffix in the time value, but according to the TimeUtil.parseTime comments a suffix such as "s" or "min" is not needed in the time value since seconds is the default value.

ERROR : error ID=1009 detail=Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

1. Looking at the code, I believe that clipBegin and clipEnd are not currently supported for dynamic streaming resources. This seems like a bug, given that we support these attributes for non-MBR streams. Can you file a bug?

Build problem with FlexBuilder 3 Plugin

Hi,
I am using the FlexBuilder 3 plugin with Eclipe Europa. I created a Flex project with J2EE backend and WTP support, so that I have both the Flex stuff and the J2EE stuff within the same project. I imported some mxml, as, and java files I had, and I was able to build and run my app using the default Eclipse build/deploy process. Everything worked except the BlazeDS (messagebroker servlet) part, so I decided to delete the Tomcat server (the Eclipse proxy of it), and start again with a new server config.
This somehow totally broke the build process. Some of the new config used port 8080 instead of 8400. And the only part of my app that was correctly deployed was the java files in the src folder. Properties files were not deployed, jar files were not deployed, even web.xml was not deployed.
After copying files manually into the Eclipse Tomcat proxy, everything worked fine, including object remoting and HTTPService invocation.
Can anyone share their experience with the FlexBuilder plugin for java webapps? What is the correct way to set it all up?

Problems with Intermedia and Plugin for RealNetworks

I installed plugin v2.1 in a Windows 32-bit system.
Database is 10.1.x, and Helix Universal Server 10.
I also followed the instructions for the demo, but the
plugin doesn't work.
At first it couldn't connect to the database, now it can (with the system schema). The problem is that it displays a weird message when i execute the the get_video procedure:
logplin(2540): Oracle Plug-in Error: failed to execute database statement
logplin(2540): Oracle Plug-in Error: ORA-01008: not all variables bound
Or when i do the sql alternative it displays:
logplin(204): Oracle Plug-in Error: failed to prepare database statement
logplin(204): Oracle Plug-in Error: ORA-00931: missing identifier
logplin(204): 7: Error retrieving URL `oracle/2' (Invalid path)
Does anyone knows how to fix this?
